This study was conducted to report background, organism and activities of Greenspace Scotland, which was established for creation and management of green environment in urban Scotland, UK, and to help discussing an efficient structure for green environmental management in future Japan. As a result, it was confirmed that Greenspace Scotland plays a key role to develop and offer the framework - structure of partnership - for creating, regenerating and managing green environment from a large-scale point of view. Rich varieties of projects, which are difficult to manage by individual organization, have been brought to realization through circulating national funds and policies among local communities in partnership with existing charities and voluntary sector keeping their identity and independence. Greenspace Scotland also put stress on the aspects of social, cultural and economic regeneration in urban communities, and emphasizes a partnership development for above purposes.

This paper presents Building Integrated Photovoltaic system of the balcony type which is influenced by conditions such as irradiation, module temperature, shade and array arrangement. When architecture component, trees and cloud shade connecting array in series, total PV array current is reduced. So, before PV system design, a planner have to simulate many situations. And then array should be composed suitable for parallel and series modules. By the results, it is very important to develop optimal design of array considering shade effect for the balcony PV system.

The users' needs are expanded because of developing of educational robot market. However, the technology development doesn't fully adopt customer needs. In general, the most products are followed not user needs but technology trajectory. In this paper, we try to define the educational robot functions from analyzing usage propensity and customer needs with Kano model. According to results, there are key functions based on customer needs such as remote student control, Internet search, educational contents search and study planner. If the four key functions are offered, user's positive attitude to robot will be increased.

With the recently increasing need for more theoretical approach on family resources aiming healthy family in the society, this study is to emphasize how important time, a personal resource, means for a healthy family and to seek how effectively time can be managed by referring to some documents. The followings are to be suggested in order for anyone to be able to apply by oneself to achieve a healthy family. First, time should be planned minute by minute. Second, prioritization should be done. Third, deadline should be made. Fourth, day planner and keeping a journal on it are recommended.

This study aims at clarifying the planning methods and historical significance of Park Byung-Joo's New Seoul Blank Plan(1966) in the context of South Korea's Urban Design during the 1960-1970s. In addition, it also tries to reveal how the planner's ideas were transformed into realized urban projects in Korea. By the comparison of the New Seoul Blank Plan and these projects, we can come to understand how the new concepts of urban planning such as CIAM's planning principles, Neighborhood Unit Theory, New Town plan and green belt concept were adapted to Korean society in the 1960s and 1970s.

This study is including the independent project, "building children's library of the town" that is conducted by a local resident. The study object is the contents of the "design workshop for library planning" and the general process during one year since the opening. This study is delivering "information of children's library" through the work-shop and is conducting the role of a professional space planner by measuring the blueprint. Thus, the study could be conducted with synthetic viewpoint on each library. The followings are the results from the study. First, there were various space operations and a variety of programs in the case library that is independently managed. This is directing to "the constructive and active space usage" by the users and finally results in positive circulation. Secondly, there is a change through the process of execution and operation in the library construction plan. There are needs for the flexible space expansion and adjustment, modifiable furniture layout and design and various keeping areas because there is on-going tendency of corresponding space change. The third, the author could draw more practicable consideration points for space planning by looking at the trend of space change in Transactionist viewpoint. Thus, this study is very meaningful in terms of planning of sustainable public areas.

The tilde use of Information Technology (IT), especially the rapid diffusion of the internet, brings us a new paradigm, called "Electronic Commerce," or "Digital Economy." The paradigm is regarded as a business strategy essential to organizations′competitive advantages. Because few studies have been shown in the area of e-strategies, especially in the combined strategies of clicks and mortars, a study of this area is required. The main questions of this study are empirically to validate the usefulness and applicability of a decision roadmap and to analyze the situation of Korean firms in the view of the decision roadmap. Major results of this study are as follows : First, there is an evidence that the roadmap can be applied to Korean firms regardless of their industry and size. Second, the usefulness of the roadmap is proved because companies following the directions of the roadmap show high degree of satisfaction with online sales. Third, Korean companies in general do not achieve an Ideal Integration (or separation), especially In terms of management and operation. In conclusion, this study provides an e-business strategy Planner some guidelines about how to achieve right mix of on-line and off-line business.

Purpose: Life insurance company provides insurance planners various education program to inspire service mind and to enhance its customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of service quality of education on service commitment and to propose the implication for the effective service education. Methods: This study is intended to identify how service quality of education from the planners in life insurance affects service commitment. The research model is tested via a survey of 307 life insurance planners. Results: This study shows that tangibles, assurance, responsiveness, and empathy in the educational service quality significantly influence education satisfaction. It also positively affect customer orientation and service commitment, but it also shows that reliability in the educational service quality has very little effect on customer satisfaction. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the service quality of education on life insurance planner and also suggests practical plan to increase the service quality of education. This study has more focused on the direction in the service quality of education for making the close long-term relationship with customer.

This study aims at advancing waterfront planning and development of North Harbor of Pusan and attempting to establish an identity through the analysis and case studies of waterfront development of foreign countries. This study is based on Pusan urban harbor plan and the case study which was investigated the relational port with an urban area to find a model of development method and procedure of urban waterfront renewal, The approach of this study is to classify diversified cases and to suggest elements after reviewing successful cases. The point in the waterfront development plan of North Harbor of Pusan is how to secure an amenity on the edge and provides a comprehensive theoretical base such as skyline, coastline, green area, accessibility, scenery, landmark, open space, and so on. The result of this study is useful for the planner to develop more and systematic approaches which could utilize waterfront. Waterfront development will be a new chance of urban development for Pusan.

In this study we consider the problem of production planning of TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor - Liquid Crystal Display) production factory. Due to the complexities of the TFT-LCD production processes, it is difficult to schedule the production planning, and the study about automated scheduler is insufficient. In addition, the existing production method is a Push-System to raise the operation rate with expensive equipment, that has the problem to satisfy the due-date. This study presents an algorithm having a concept of Pull-System that satisfies the due-date and considers specialties of TFT-LCD production process. We make MPS(Master Production Schedule) according to the sales order, and present algorithms for scheduling about In/Out plan considering factory capacity, line balancing, material requirement, and inventory level of all Array, Cell, and Module processes. These algorithms are integrated as an automated production system, and we implement them in the actual TFT-LCD factory circumstance.
