행복경제학적 분석을 적용한 인간중심적 자연관과 생태중심적 자연관의 비교 (Happiness Economics Approach To Anthropocentric-Nature Perspective And Ecocentric-Nature Perspective)

  • 본 연구는 경제적 가치와 환경가치를 유기적으로 결합시키는 행복경제학적 접근을 적용하여 자연관과 효용의 관계를 비교하고자 한다. 회귀분석을 수행한 결과 다음과 같은 사항을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫째, 본 분석에서는 자연관에 따라 행복함수 형태가 다르다는 것을 실증적으로 확인하였다. '인간중심적 자연관'의 가치체계는 경제가치중심이며 환경, 신뢰와 같은 비 물질가치 요소가 무시할 정도로 낮은 것임을 통계적 유의도를 통하여 알 수 있다. 둘째, '생태중심적 자연관'은 경제를 포함한 환경, 사람신뢰를 동시에 고려하는 중층적 가치체계를 가지고 있다고 할 수 있다. 그들의 가치체계에 따르면 인간의 편의와 경제적 가치에 치우친 행위는 행복극대화 관점에서 합리적이지 않다는 점을 분석 결과에서 알 수 있다.

초등학생들의 자연에 대한 관점 (Elementary School Students' Views about Nature)

  • 이 연구는 초등학생들이 가지고 있는 자연에 대한 관점을 알아보고자 수행되었다. 초등학교 5, 6학년 18명의 학생이 연구에 참여하였고, 일련의 정교화된 도구들을 이용한 반구조화된 면담을 통해 학생들의 자연에 대한 관점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들의 자연에 대한 관점은 공통적인 특징을 보이기도 하지만, 각기 다른 관점을 가지고 있었다. 또한 종교, 심미적인 측면, 과학, 사회 등 여러 가지 요인이 자연에 대한 과점 형성에 관련되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 과학교육과정을 구성할 때, 과학교육자들이 학생들의 자연에 대한 다양한 관점을 이해하는 것이 필요하다고 본다. 또한 과학교육과정과 다른 교과의 교육과정과의 관계도 고려될 필요가 있다.

  • From the past to the future, the great nature has been long standing good text and has never been behind the fashion. All problems of human being had been occured and been solved by 'Lives' and the biological chemistry ststem which are inside the nature. They say that "Ecology is the applications of biological shape in man made system design." We should find out the basic principles of nature and apply to the necessity of study. Biology, Ecology, and the other relational theory of design have abundant sources of idea in which designers can take new policy and creativities. When designers design new products they should consider socialogy and psychological circumstances that are related to them, and should find out various possibilities trying to contact biological systems and ecological systems which are chosen in the nature. The seed of ash samara can be applied to firehydrant for mountain on fire and application of the spider's web can lead to the device for road work. As soon as possible, we should find out the methods introducing the nautre which supplies infinite sources of idea to the basic theory of design.of design.

과학에 관한 인식 조사 도구를 활용한 교수 프로그램의 효과- 과학의 대상과 과학의 방법을 동시에 고려한 분석 - (The Effect of Instructional Program Using Nott & Wellington's "Your Nature of Science Profile" in Teaching about the Nature of Science for Elementary Preservice Teachers: An Dichotomous Analysis Considering the Method of Science and the Target of Science Simultaneously)

  • This study investigates the effect of instructional program using Nott & Wellington's" your nature of science profile" to facilitate the understanding about the nature of science for elementary preservice teachers. To do this. this study used posttest only control group design. The students in control group studied the topic by instructional program using textbook and reference book. Experimental group studied by instructional program: (1)evaluating personally one's understanding of the nature of science using Nott and Wellington's "your nature of science profile"; (2)studying the way of understanding the nature of science focusing five dimensions presented in it; (3)knowing other's understanding the nature of science; (4)discussing and evaluating reflectively the various aspect about it. Because the true understanding about the nature of science is not only to know about the method of science but also to know the target of science. We planned to evaluate the effect of instruction by such dichotomous way as evaluating simultaneously the understanding about the method of science and the target of science. Therefore the Questionnaire to evaluate the effect of instruction consisted two pairs of open-ended Questions: first pair is consisted of questions for the representation and judgement of scientific theory, second pair is consisted of questions for components and sources of scientific manipulation of the structure of science. The results of questionnaires by experimental group(n=75) and control group(n=77) are as follows: (1) Analysing responses about first pair of questions in dichotomous way, we identified four different patterns in students' understanding about scientific theory. And the instructional program using Nott & Wellington's "your nature of science profile" is not significantly effective in the distribution of patterns of understanding about scientific theory, but effective in driving out scientifically valid understanding, naturalistic realism, about scientific theory from the students having realistic aspect in representation of scientific theory; (2) Analysing responses about second pair of questions in dichotomous way, we identified five different patterns in students's understanding about structure of science. And the instructional program using Nott & Wellington's "your nature of science profile" is significantly effective in the distribution of patterns of understanding about structure of science, and effective in driving out scientifically valid understanding, dualistic-circular view or dualistic-circular view, about structure of science from the students having dualistic or dualistic aspect in components of structure of science.

  • This study aims to understand the correlation between system of exhibition contents and structure of exhibition space in nature and science museums. So, in this paper it deals with 10 examples of overseas nature and science museums as analytical objects, using Space Syntax as an analytical tool. In conclusion, the system of exhibition contents of nature & science museums can be divided into field and theme, and subdivided into total 6 systems according to categorization and integration. The system of exhibition contents by field is generally characterized by unconstricted access and system of exhibition contents by theme is generally marked by high visual openness. And the system of exhibition content according to categorization is characterized by strong concentration on exhibitory convex and its wide distribution.

Case Studies of Preservice Teachers' Conceptual Ecologies

  • This qualitative study investigated two preservice teachers' conceptual ecologies in professional development during the science teacher preparation program. The notion of a conceptual ecology contains nature of knowledge, science and science teaching, learning, and content knowledge and comfort level. The data were collected during the participants' preservice year and their practicum experience. Both data collections and analyzing were from the various sources of interviews, teaching observations, journals, and information and profiles by the participants' supervisor. Two preservice teachers serve as cases representative of this study. Results show that problems preventing the preservice teachers from moving closer to conceptual change teaching were their understandings of the nature of science and the nature of knowledge. The preservice teachers' views about knowledge come from, and what knowledge is, are largely shaped by the nature of science and learning drive pedagogy and classroom practice. Knowledge of and comfort with the subject matter are also important.

한국과 미국의 뮤직비디오에서 보여지는 신체 표현과 패션에 관한 연구 (The Study of Body Expression and Fashion Appeared in Music Video in Korea and American)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the musicians' body image and fashion styles portrayed in Korea and American music' video in aspects of body dimension such as sex, race, nature, and technology. The results were as follows. In aspects of sex, male musicians showed the blurring of gender appearance, while female musicians reflected sexuality which intensified the gender norms. In aspects of race, musicians pursued the racial blending appearances. In nature and technology dimension, Korea music video focused on natural imagery, while American music video showed a lot of technology imagies. And, the body combined with the nature and technology implied the post human image in the future.

연어의 정치생태학: 생태관광에서 나타나는 '자연'의 생산과 보존 (The Political Ecology of Salmon: Production and Conservation of 'Nature' in Ecotourism)

  • 본 연구는 양양연어축제를 통해 생태관광에서 '자연'이 '생산'되고 보존되며 이용되는 과정을 살펴보고 있다. 최근 관광지리 논의에서는 관광개발 과정에서 나타나는 자연의 신자유주의화와 이에 대한 정치생태학적 재해석이 이루어지고 있다. 한국에서는 양양군을 중심으로 연어보존이 이루어져왔고, 연어축제 역시 연어보존이 나타내는 자연의 복원이라는 상징성을 담고 있다. 그러나 연어축제는 연어의 상품화를 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며, 남대천은 연어의 생태계가 복원된 장소로 인식되기는 어려운 상황이다. 또한 연어회귀가 증가하지 않고, 축제의 외연적 확대가 어려워지면서 연어와 남대천 보존에 대한 지역의 관심은 예전과 같지 않다. 즉, 자연의 보존과 복원의 상징성을 강조하는 축제의 주장과는 달리 생태계를 위협하는 부정적인 요인들은 여전히 남아있다. 이로 인해 연어와 남대천의 보존과 관련한 행위자들 사이의 갈등이 발생하고 있으며, 이는 지역 주민들에서부터 지자체, 국가, 국제기구에 이르기까지 복잡하게 얽혀있다. 생태관광에서 이용되는 자연은 다양한 층위의 행위자들의 이해관계에 따라 선택적으로 정의되고, 이용되며, 강조된다. 이는 정치생태학 연구에서 강조되는 '생산되는 자연'의 개념이 본원적인 자연개념보다 축제의 주제로 전용되고 상품화되는 자연의 모습을 설명하는 데 유용하다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

The Relationship Between Visitors' Environmental Attitudes and Their Recreational Motivations: A Case Study in a Korean National Park

  • This study examines the relationships between visitors' environmental attitudes as measured by the new environmental paradigm (NEP) and their recreational motivations based on data collected from a national park in South Korea. The data analysis indicated that visitors' environmental attitudes and motivation were multi-dimensional structures. The NEP composed of three factors named 'Humans over Nature', 'Balance of Nature', and Limit to Growth'. Visitors' motivation also composed of four factors representing 'Achievement and Stimulation', 'Escape and Enjoying Nature', 'Social and Leadership', and 'Family'. However, there were significant correlations among the factors, suggesting they were independent each other. There were also significant differences in visitors' motivation due to their level of environmental attitudes.

'자연의 친구' 교육 프로그램의 효과 연구 (The Effects of 'Friends of Nature' Education Program on Multiple and Emotional Intelligence)

  • This study examined the effects of the 'Friends of Nature' education program on multiple intelligence(MI) and emotional intelligence(EI or EQ). The 'Friends of Nature' activity was designed as an education program on the basis of the theories of multiple intelligence and emotional intelligence in order to develop MI and EI through real experiences in the nature. The subjects were 5-year-old kindergarten children, the education activities lasted for 7 months. Significant effects were found in the children's multiple and emotional intelligence between the control group and the activity group in some but not all areas of MI and EI. Consequently, the 'Friends of Nature' program can be said to have partially positive effects on the improvement of children's multiple and emotional intelligence.
