보건계열 대학생의 진로태도성숙도, 소명의식, 일의 의미가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Career Attitude Maturity, Calling, and Work as Meaning Affecting Student Adjustment to College among Health College Students)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify factors affecting student adjustment to college among students in health colleges (Nursing, Clinical Pathology, Radiology, Dental Hygienics, Medicine). Methods: The participants in this study were 261 students in Daejeon city. Data were collected from October 5 to October 14, 2014. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection and data was analyzed using the SPSS/WIN program. Results: Career attitude maturity, calling and work as meaning positively correlated with student adjustment to college. The significant predictors of student adjustment to college were career attitude maturity, calling, always working part-time, major in medicine and average grade for the last semester. Conclusion: These findings suggest that adjustment to college for students in health colleges is linked to career attitude maturity, and calling. College organization should develop a curriculum fostering a calling which will promote student adjustment to college and graduate health care professionals with desirable attitudes.

자기분화의 세대간 전이가 대학생의 심리적 적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Intergenerational Transmission of Self-Differentiation on Psychological Adjustment of College Student)

  • The major purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of intergenerational transmission of self-differentiation on psychological adjustment of college students. Specifically, the present study endeavored to test the causal model focusing on the effect of the father's and the mother's self-differentiation on college student's psychological adjustment through the student's self-differentiation. The data were collected from 254 male and 293 female college students and their parents by using self-administered questionnaire method. The casual model was tested through structural equation model by using AMOS 7.0 program. The results showed that mother's and father's self-differentiation had direct and indirect effect on student's psychological adjustment. The results showed that both mother's and father's self-differentiation had direct effect on son's self-differentiation level, which directly influenced his psychological adjustment. The test of structural equation model also revealed that daughter's self-differentiation level was positively influenced only by mother's self-differentiation, while father's self-differentiation did not influenced female student's self-differentiation. Both male and female student's psychological adjustment was directly influenced by his or her self-differentiation level.

간호대학신입생의 정서인식, 정서표현, 정서표현양면성이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Emotional Awareness, Emotional Expressiveness, and Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness on College Student Adjustment in Freshman Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학신입생의 정서인식, 정서표현, 정서표현양면성과 대학생활적응을 확인하고 대학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상은 4년제 대학 2곳에 재학 중인 간호학과 신입생 159명이었고, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2012년 5월 20일부터 6월10일까지 자료조사를 실시하였다. 대학생활적응은 정서주의와 정서명명과는 유의미한 양의 상관관계를 보였고, 긍정표현에 대한 양면성과 부정표현에 대한 양면성과는 유의미한 음의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 대학생활적응에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 정서주의였으며, 정서주의, 긍정표현에 대한 양면성, 부정표현에 대한 양면성, 정서명명은 대학생활 적응에 대해 31.8%의 설명력을 나타내었다. 간호대학신입생의 대학생활적응 향상을 위해서 정서인식 및 정서표현양면성을 돕는 교육 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.

  • The purpose of the present study is to explore two main research questions; whether or not there is a difference in student adjustment in college according to socio-demographics characteristics, and to analyze the effects of self-esteem, self-identity, interaction anxiousness, and parent attachment on the adjustment of college students. The results were as follows: First, students' adjustments in college showed significant differences according to gender, cramming for repeating a college entrance exam, living with their parents, college major, family income, and religion. Second, the self-esteem, self-identity, interaction anxiousness, and parent attachment of college students impacted the related adjustment. Self-identity was the most important factor for predicting the adjustment in College. Therefore, this result suggests that the programs of self-identity Improvement are needed for the adjustment in college life.

대학생의 애착과 자기효능감 및 대학생활 적응과의 관계 (A Study of the Relationship Between College Student's Attachment, Self-Efficacy and the Adjustment to College Life)

  • Purpose: This study intends to clarify the relative importance and character of the college student's attachment to their parents. We examined the effect that the father and mother attachments have en their self-efficacy and adjustment to their college life. Method: The subjects were 271 students who attendee a university. For this study, we used the inventory of the Parent Attachment-Revised version by Armsden and Greenberg, a self-efficacy test by Sherer et al. and the investigation far adjustment to college life by Barker & Siryk. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test and simple multiple regression analysis on an SPSS WIN 10.0 program. Results: There was a significant differences in the attachment to the father according to their grades and in the attachment to the mother according to their type of residence. There was a significant difference in the adjustment to their college life according to their grades. Regression analysis on attachment and self-efficacy suggested that attachment has an influence on self-efficacy. Regression analysis on attachment and adjustment to college life suggested that attachment has influence on the adjustment to college life. Attachment also has an influence on academic adjustment, social adjustment, personal-emotional adjustment and institutional adjustment on the subscale of adjustment to college life. Regression analysis on self-efficacy and adjustment to college life suggested that self-efficacy has an influence on adjustment to college life. Further, self-efficacy has an influence on academic adjustment, social adjustment, personal-emotional adjustment and institutional adjustment on the subscale of adjustment to college life. Conclusion: This study shows that there are relationships among attachment, self-efficacy and adjustment to college life. Especially, self-efficacy is a very important factor influencing the adjustment to college life. So, a plan designed to increase students' self-efficacy should be created based on the results of this study.

대학생들의 사회적 지지와 건강상태, 대학생활 적응 및 학업성취도와의 관계 (The Relationship between Social Support, Health Status, College Adjustment and Academic Achievement in College Students)

  • Objectives: This study intends to understand the difference of social support levels and the relationship between social support the health status, college adjustment and academic achievement in the college student. Methods: Data were obtained from self-administered questionnaire of 416 college student. We measured the demographic characteristics, social support (tangible support, appraisal support, belonging support, self-esteem support), health status (36-item short-form health survey(SF-36), center for epidemiologic studies-depression(CES-D), perceived stress scale(PSS)), student adaptation to college questionnaire(SACQ), average grades point. Chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA test, pearson correlation analysis were used for analysis factors relation of the social support of the college students. Results: In considering the degree of social support by the demographic characteristics in the college students, the social support was better for the female college students. In considering the relation between social support and health status, the students who get better social support, were good in health depression and perceived stress status. When they got better social support their college adjustment and academic achievement were good. The result was statistically significant. Conclusions: Social support for students has great influence on health, college adjustment and academic achievement of students. Psychological aspects of students should be included in the strategy of social support for students.

보건의료행정 전공 대학생의 직업가치에 영향을 미치는 대학생활적응 요인 (College Life Adjustment Factors Affecting the Work Values of Public Health Major Student)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보건의료행정 전공 학생들이 인식하는 직업가치와 대학생활 적응과의 관계를 살펴보고, 직업가치를 높이기 위한 대학생활적응 요인들을 파악하여 진로지도의 효과적인 개입 방안에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 경기도에 소재한 보건의료행정과 362명과 공학계열 168명 대학생을 대상으로 조사하였고, t-test, 상관관계, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들이 인식하는 직업 가치 중 내적가치는 대학생활적응 요인 모두와 정의 상관관계를 나타내었으나 외적가치는 교수와 학생의 상호 작용 관계에서 부의 상관관계로 나타났다. 둘째, 내적가치에 영향을 미치는 대학생활적응 요인은 사회적 통합, 교수와의 상호작용, 학교지원 서비스 기대로 나타났다. 셋째, 외적가치에 영향을 미치는 대학생활적응 요인은 진로정체성, 가정지원, 대학만족도로 나타났다. 본 연구는 전공에 따라 직업가치에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 확인하였고, 진로교육 및 지도의 필요성을 제시하였다.

대학생의 내면화 및 외현화된 행동문제 부모와의 의사소통과 대학생활적응을 중심으로 (College Students′ Internalizing and Externalizing Problems : Parent-Child Communication and Adjustment to College Life)

  • This study investigated the relationships among college students' internalizing/externalizing problems, parent-child communication, and college adjustment. The participants were 281 freshmen and sophomores (103 males and 178 females) from a university in Gyeongbuk Province. A self-report survey questionnaire was used to measure parent-child communication, adjustment to college life, and the student's internalizing/externalizing problems. Data were analyzed by t-test, and single and multiple regressions. The results were as follows: (1) The college students' communication with parents was negatively associated with their internalizing/externalizing problems. (2) The college students' communication with parents was positively associated with adjustment to college life. (3) The students' adjustment to college life was negatively associated with their internalizing/externalizing problems. (4) The college students' communication with parents partly or fully exerted indirect effects on the students' internalizing/externalizing problems, mediated by their adjustment to college life.

간호학생의 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing on College Life Adjustment of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생의 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구는 2019년 4월 8일부터 5월 13일까지 G시에 위치한 대학에 재학 중인 간호학생 1, 2학년 334명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, 단계적 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 간호학생의 대학생활적응은 교수-학생 상호작용, 자아존중감, 스트레스 대처와 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈고, 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 스트레스 대처, 교수-학생 상호작용 순이었고, 이들의 설명력은 48.4%였다. 따라서 간호학생의 대학생활적응을 높이기 위해서는 스트레스에 대처할 수 있도록 격려하고 교수-학생 상호작용을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램의 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

대학생의 부모에 대한 애착이 자아존중감 ,대학 적응에 미치는 영향 (Attachment to Parents: Relationship to Self-esteem and Adjustment to College)

  • Theis study examined relationship between college student attachment to parents and two broad indices of adolescent adaptation -selfe-esteem and adjustment to college. Also the association of parental attachment bonds to college adjustment would be mediated by self-esteem was examined in this study. Participants included 381 college students(176 men 205 women) As expected parental attachment was positively related to self-esteem and college adjustment. gender of parent differences emerged in which attachment to father was a more important predictor of college adjustment than was attachment to mother. Self-esteem played a mediating role in relation between parental attachment and college adjustment, Furthermore self-esteem was a most significant predictor of college adjustment .
