간호대학생 진로 탐색을 위한 통합 인터넷 정보망 콘텐츠 개발 (Development of portal web service contents for nursing students' career search)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 위한 체계적인 진로 탐색 통합 인터넷 정보망 콘텐츠를 개발하는 것이다. 134명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했고 전문가 자문을 거쳐 통합 인터넷 정보망 콘텐츠 'Nurse Dream'을 설계 및 개발하였다. 응답자의 97.0%가 진로 탐색을 위한 통합 정보망 웹사이트 및 어플리케이션이 개발된다면 이용할 의향이 있다고 답했고, 이들은 '수입(19.0%)', '필수 자격 요건(18.0%)', '취업 경로(18.0%)'를 알기를 원하였다. 설문 결과와 전문가의 자문을 통해, 'Nurse Dream'을 설계했고 '간호사 진로 길잡이', '간호사 채용정보'를 포함한 다양한 카테고리를 구축했다. 본 통합 인터넷 정보망 콘텐츠 개발은 간호대학생에게 충분한 진로 탐색의 정보를 제공해 진로만족감을 높이며 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

간호대학생의 전공만족도와 비판적 사고성향, 간호사이미지간의 관계 (The relationship among Satisfaction of Major, Critical thinking Disposition and Nurse image for Nursing students)

  • 본 연구는 간호학과 재학생의 전공만족도 및 비판적 사고성향, 간호사이미지를 파악하고, 제 변수들 간의 관계를 확인하여 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위한 연구이다. 연구대상자는 M시 소재 M 대학 간호학과 학생 2, 3, 4학년 280명을 대상으로 하였으며 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficients 분석하였다. 변수 중 하나인 비판적 사고성향은 7개의 하위영역인 신중성, 지적열정 및 호기심, 자신감, 체계성, 지적공정성, 건전한 회의성, 객관성으로 구성되어 있었다. 대상자의 전공만족도는 5점 만점에 3.81점, 비판적 사고성향은 3.52점, 간호사이미지는 3.85점으로 나타났으며, 전공만족도와 비판적 사고성향, 간호사이미지는 서로 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 따라서 간호대학생의 효율적인 비판적 사고의 향상을 통해 간호사 이미지를 개선하여 전공만족도를 높일 수 있는 방법을 연구하는 것이 필요하다.

학제에 따른 진로인식, 간호사자질인식의 비교연구 (A Comparative Study Recognition of Future Career and Nurse's Characteristics According to Nursing School System)

  • This study was to compare the recognition of future career and nurse's characteristics according to nursing school system. This study was based on cross sectional descriptive method. The data were analyzed by $x^2$-test, t-test, and ANOVA using PASW WIN 18.0 program. The data represented that students who were doing associated degrees or bachelor degrees, showed the similar level recognition of future career and nurse's characteristics. However they showed differences in recognition of the career where they could create and new things(t=2.933, p=.004) and working part time(t=2.328, p=.021). In regards to recognition of nurse's characteristics bachelor degrees students had higher professional ethics($4.59{\pm}.44$). This study proposed that these research results could be used for improving methodology of nursing education.

양호교사의 교직관이 역할수행에 미치는 영향(影響) (A Study on the Relation of School Nurse's Teaching Profession and Role Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze correlation between the view of teaching profession and the role performance of school nurse. For the achievement of this purpose 188 school nurses in Tae-Gu city and Kyung-Sang Buk-Do are randomly selected in 1992. Major findings of this study were as follows: 1) Role performance of the school nurse showed school health room, health planning, health education, disease control, environment sanitation and management of health organization, in the order named. 2) Degree of school nurse role performance showed 84.7% of the total respondents as highly. 3) Relationship between the view of teaching profession and the role performance was statistically significant correlation. 4) Role performance of school nurse was explained 29.4% by the view of teaching profession (public life, human relation & leading student) of the total variables.

우리나라 대학(大學) 학생보건관리실태(學生保健管理實態)에 관(關)한 조사연구(調査硏究) (A Study on Status of Student Health Service in Universities and Colleges in Korea)

  • A survery was carried out in order to know the status of student health service and student medical insurance of universities and colleges in Korea from 1 July to 30 September. 1978. And the following results were obtained; 1. Out of seventy universities and colleges, 54.8% of them had student health service facility such as student health conte. (30.0%) or health room (24.8%). 2. Out of twenty-seven national and public universities and colleges, 44.4% of them had student health service facility and out of forty-three private universities and colleges, 60.5% of them had student health service facilities. 3. Each of 80.0% of 25 universities, 43.3% of 30 colleges and 33.3% of 15 junior colleges had student health service facility. 4. Major roles of student health service were physical examination (92.1%), health counselling (86.8%), primary medical care (78.9%), tuberculosis control (68.4%), insect and rodent control (52.6%), parasite control(47.4%), water source sanitation (44.7%), and dental health care (28.9%). 5. Out of 21 universities and colleges, 66.7% of them had full time doctor and 81.0% of them had full time nurse for student health center. And out of 17 universites and colleges, 5.9% of them had full time doctor and 33.3% of then had full time nurse for student health room. 6. The range of health fee was varied from 100 won to 1,400 won per student per semester and the average was 520 won. 7. Among 55 universities and colleges, 78.6% of them had carried out annual physical examination in 1977 and the rate of physical examination was 57.4%. 8. Out of 70 universities and colleges. 45.7% of them had tuberculosis control program and the prevalence rate was 6.0 per 1,000 students. 9. Student medical insurance program was developed by ten universities and one college among 25 universities and 45 colleges. 10. Student medical insurance benefit was varied according to university and college; the reduction rate of medical fee was 20% to 80% for not only in-patient but also out-patient. 11. The upper limit of pay claim was varied according to the university and college from 5,000 won to no-limitation for out-patient and from 30,000 won to no-limitation for in-patient. 12. The highest utility rate of student medical insurance program was found in university 'F' with the rate of 791 for out-patient and 12 for admitted patient per 1,000 students.

간호교육을 통하여 학생들에게 육성해야하는 능력에 대한 고찰 - 학제 및 일반적인 대학교육과의 차이를 중심으로 - (Study of Abilities Required to Develop for Student in Nursing Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify key abilities needed to develop for student nurses. Methods: A methodological research design was used in this study. The abilities for student nurses were developed through literature review and educational objectives analysis of 60 nursing colleges in Korea. Results: Finally, the abilities required to develop for student nurses in higher education were 8 cluster of abilities and 19 abilities such as problem solving ability, relationship ability, professional ability, ability in information processing, globalization, voluntary service. Conclusion: To perceive and achieve abilities for student nurses in higher education has to be needed a systematic approach in setting objectives, to improve curriculum and to develop program and educational methods.

간호.보건 계열 대학생이 지각하는 간호사 이미지 (Nurses' Image Perceived by Nursing and Health Allied College Students in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the nurses' image perceived by nursing and health allied college students in Korea. Method: The data was collected from October 15th to November 15th, 2004. Subjects were composed of 679 students in three-year Junior College. The data was analyzed by SPSS 12.0 PC+ Win. The difference of nurse' image among departments and locations of Junior College were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA and Tukey test. Result: The mean score of nurses' image 3.1 point of the total 5 point. Nurses' image is showed significantly difference according to the departments; the department of nursing (3.54), physical therapy (3.01), radiology (2.97), emergency medical technology (2.76) and clinical pathology (2.67). Nurses' image was significantly differed among the 4 domains according to 5 departments; 'the qualification of nurse', 'the role of nurse', 'the interpersonal relationship of nurse', 'the social participation of nurse'. Nurses' image formed through directly contacting with nurses' and seeing nurses' action (69.1%), watching nurse in TV drama (15.9%). Conclusion: It is considered that nursing and health allied college students were affected by inter-communications with nurses' more than by mass media.

남자 간호대학생의 진로유형 및 진로유형에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Career Choice of Male Nursing Students and Factors Influencing Their Career Choice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to evaluate career choice of male nursing students and identify factors influencing their career choice. Methods: Subjects were 123 male nursing junior and senior students in B city, U city, and GN area. Career types were classified into a hospital nurse and a community nurse. Subjects were asked about 29 items of nurse image and 31 items of satisfaction on clinical practice. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, and logistic regression, using SPSS 21.0 program. Results: The percentage of career choice which subjects hoped when admitted into nursing universities consisted of hospital nurses of 77.2%, while the percentage changed to hospital nurses of 52.8% at the time of this survey. The nurse image represented as an influencing factor, and it was found that if nurse image score increased one unit, the hoping units of career type of hospital nurse increased 2.69 times. Conclusion: The educational institutions have to provide career education programs and information concerned to not only hospital nurses but also community nurses, and further studies on the positioning and expanding roles of community male nurses need to be conducted.

임상실습에서 간호대학생이 경험하는 간호사의 무례함, 대처가 소진에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nurses' Incivility Experienced by Nursing Student, Coping on Burnout in Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of nurse's incivility experienced by nursing students and coping against incivility on burnout in clinical practice. Methods: A cross-sectional correlation study design was used. The subjects were 120 nursing student from four universities in Busan and Yangsan, South Korea. A self-report questionnaire was used to collect data on incivility, coping, and burnout. Finally total 117 nursing students' data was analyzed except 3 nursing students who had never experienced nurse's incivility for clinical practice. Data analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Results: 97.5% of subjects (n=120) experienced incivility. Incivility was positively correlated with seeking social support coping, avoiding focused coping and burnout. Incivility and avoiding focused coping had a significant positive effect on burnout. The explained variance for burnout was 10.0% and avoiding focused coping was the most significant factor in burnout. Conclusion: Most of nursing students experience the nurses' incivility. Judging incivility as a difficult problem to solve, students use more avoiding focused coping strategy and burnout is increased. Therefore education is needed to improve the coping strategies at incivility. Additionally colleges and hospitals should establish the formal reporting system to handle the incivility.
