It is necessary for lower grade students to study the correct usage of tools as a base of the technical education for dismantling and assembling various machines. However, enough understanding has not been obtained though the usage of these tools when training first grade students. So, we started to develop a teaching text and materials within the students' practice curriculum based on the dismantling and assembly of all-terrain vehicle [ATV]'s, which is a very motivating for lower grade students. This practice makes the student learn both how to use the tools and the steering mechanism of cars through the dismantling and assembling of the ATV. It is possible to not only have the student learn about the knowledge obtained through the practice, but also they also acquire wider and deeper knowledge through making the text and teaching materials for the practice. The textbook and secondary educational materials of this practice curriculum were created in cooperation with a fifth grade student as part of their graduation research. As a result, an effective teaching and learning text and secondary educational material regarding manufacturing practice could be developed from the student's point of view. Making a teaching text and materials is effective for promoting the study and experience of engineering.

The objective of this study was to determine the status of current chapel courses and analyze the necessity of online chapel courses. Students' interest, failure experience, perceived problems, and advantages of current chapel courses were examined. Students' preference, intention of sincerity, and perceived effectiveness of online chapel courses were also determined. Finally, hypothesis tests for the differences of students' interest, failure experience, perceived problems and advantages of current chapel courses, preference, intention of sincerity, and perceived effectiveness of online chapel courses according to gender, school year grade, major of study, and religion were performed. Students' low interest in chapel courses was verified. Even Christian students' interest was below 3 points out of 5-point Likert scale. However, students whose religion was not Christianity felt more coercion and had less interest in chapel courses. They wanted virtualization of chapel courses more. They had more willingness to faithful participation in online chapel courses. This research suggests that virtualization of chapel courses as a solution to chapel resistance is dependent on student's characteristics such as religion, major field of study, and mindset.

Based on the Vygotskian perspective that a learner's thinking is constituted in his or her talk and the assumption that student talk in the classroom may occur in more than one way, this study examined discursive practices of students in Korean high school science classrooms. Data came from $11^{th}$ grade earth science classrooms where the Group Investigation (GI) method was implemented. Data source included verbatim transcripts developed from video recordings of class sessions in which students presented their science projects to the whole class and exchanged questions and answers during the presentations. The analysis of the videotape transcripts revealed five different modes of student talk, including 1) retrieving information, 2) reformulating information, 3) building on one's own experience, 4) elaborating current understanding, and 5) negotiating meanings with others. Considering that each of the five modes had different value for learning science, it was recommended that the teacher should engage students in more active modes of discourse and guide them into more sophisticated understanding of science.

This study attempts to draw the implications of student satisfaction with fieldwork courses in the library and information science (LIS) program in South Korea by determining the level of satisfaction experienced by students with practicums at a library and information service agency. LIS students with fieldwork experience were surveyed to assess their satisfaction and the factors affecting their satisfaction. Results from a multiple regression analysis revealed that from among factors of practicum settings, major-related attributes, and general attributes of respondents, "satisfaction with majors" and "interpersonal relationships" had a significant effect on satisfaction with practicums. Examining the six components of satisfaction with the course revealed that "practicum program" and "practicum setting" had a significant relationship with overall satisfaction. A selective intervention program to improve satisfaction with the course needs to be developed based on factors influencing overall satisfaction, focusing on "interpersonal relationship" and "satisfaction with majors.

In this study, we compare the multiple intelligence of gifted students with the multiple intelligence of their children recognized by their parents. The subjects of the study are 118 students and their parents at the gifted education center affiliated with A University. First of all, there is a difference between the multiple intelligence of gifted students and the multiple intelligence recognized by their parents. Parents are highly regarded their children in all multiple intelligence components. Second, there are differences in multiple intelligence of gifted students' gender. The difference in multiple intelligence of children recognized by parents depending on the gender of the student was similar to the student's results. Third, there are not much difference in multiple intelligence between elementary and middle school students. However, there is a big difference between students and parents in the elementary school group compared to the middle school students. Therefore, since multi-intelligence can be developed by individual experience and environment throughout one's life, an educational environment that reflects objective evaluation and student needs rather than parental subjective judgment should be created.

This study explores factors that influence the development of creative ideas among apparel design students. This research is to understand how past experience (especially in art and design), influences the development of creative ideas in apparel design. The interaction between two related elements of student experience and work process is explored. A design process model based on Wallas's (1926) creative problem-solving process and Koberg and Bagnall's (1974) design process was used in the context of a beginning-level apparel design course comprised of Korean and Chinese students at a university in Seoul, South Korea. The results show that students with past experience in art and/or design performed differently than inexperienced students when faced with the same stimulation. Significant differences were also observed between experienced and inexperienced students in the development of creative ideas.

This study was to examine the factors that affect the oral health knowledge of elementary school students. This study surveyed a comparative study of the students and guardians' oral health knowledge among the elementary schools operating or not operating school dental clinic program in Jeollanamdo. The subjects were 178 elementary school students and guardian, structured questionnaires were performed during the period from May 2 to May 26, 2014. As a result, non-operated school dental clinic program had a negative effect on Oral health knowledge of students, but it was not significant. The factors associated with student's oral health knowledge turned out to be oral heath education experience of guardian, oral health education participation of student, self-reported oral health of student. In conclusion, student's oral health knowledge was influenced by student's and guardian's oral health-related behaviors, oral health status of student.

The purpose of this study is to seek improvement in clothing life education through a development and application of the clothing life education program for middle schools based on the education and experience in arts & culture. On the basis of art & culture education as well as, Dewey's experience, the clothing life area education program was designed and developed for the 2nd year students in the middle school. This program was applied to 350 students of 9 2nd year classes in M middle school during the 17 periods of clothing life area classes, beginning from May 23rd, 2011 and lasting to September 30th, 2011. The leaner-evaluation was performed in terms of the level of learning interest and academic achievement. To measure the level of academic achievement, a mind-map evaluation was performed and a learning effect survey, which evaluates the level of achievement of learning objectives, was carried out. For the purpose of class observation, classes were filmed and analyzed. Characteristics of a class were recorded on a teacher's diary and was used to support the qualitative evaluation. According to the results, the education program is analyzed as being helpful and useful in student understanding of fiber, textile and, clothes, which are materials and outcomes of culture and art; moreover, they have a historical, cultural and artistic value in themselves. It is also analyzed as being helpful for the development of student aesthetic sensibility and emotion, for the construction of meaningful experience through a learning process, for the improvement of learning interest and the level of academic achievement, and for the positive recognition of the learning effect.

The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of Mathematics field experience trip program on students' attitude in learning Mathematics. For this we developed Jejumok-Gwanna Math-Tour program in 2019 for students which would make them to walk and experience mathematics in the field. In that program, we suggested several Mathematics examples about natural objects and artifacts in Jejumok-Gwanna. After that, we let A middle school students within Jeju to experience this program in order to see the effect of this program. We asked participants to write pre- and past- questionnaire, have an interview, and write review. After analyzing those, this study concluded that the effect of Jejumok-Gwanna Math-Tour on student's attitude in learning mathematics was statically significant. The result of this study suggested that Mathematics Field Experience Study Program could be useful to improve student's attitude in learning mathematics.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical competence of medical student using short case test items. Development of short case test items with definition of an assessment of subject, choice of clinical stations sampling, identification of components of clinical competence to be evaluated, and assessment of practicability and results exploitation. For the last three years 28, 48 and 30 topics were developed annually. Among them 20, 23 and 23 topics were selected. About 50 students were examined annually. The mean score was 72.7, 57.1, 64.3 respectively. The mean preparation time of the students for the examination was 9.8 hours. About 60% of the students prepared the test in small group activity. Our experience suggests that short case test items be feasible for evaluation of student learning in Plastic Surgery. This method should be considered as a useful tool to assess medical student's competence or even an examination for board certification.
