In this paper, robot endeffector tracking using sensory information from structured laser pattern diode, is described. In order to track robot endeffector robustly irrespective of translation, scaling and rotation of robot working tool, structured laser pattern is used as track feature. Structured laser patterns of crosshair, concentric circles, dot matrix, and parallel lines are illuminated to robot endeffector. Illuminated laser patterns are held invariently and coherently irrespective of various motions of robot endeffector. Extracting and tracking these invariant structured laser patterns as track feature, the whole system keeps tracking of the robot endeffector robustly and effectively provided that structured laser pattern is always assumed to aim at robot endeffector.

The study investigates how the structured debriefing method affects the learning flow, critical thinking disposition, and clinical performance of nursing students, using the Lasater Clinical Judgment Rubric (LCJR). Nursing students in the 4th grade of P University were divided into three groups, each trying out a different structured debriefing method: the experimental group - structured video debriefing using the LCJR question, the comparative group - structured oral debriefing, and the control group - structured group discussion debriefing. There was no significant difference between the three groups in learning flow (p=.640), critical thinking disposition (p=.420) and clinical performance ability (p=.360). Planning and intervention among the areas of clinical performance were significantly improved in the experimental group compared to the other two groups (p=.005). Structured debriefing when used with LCJR improves the learning flow and critical thinking disposition of students, while structured video debriefing improves clinical performance.

The data in tables are accurate and rich in information, which facilitates the performance of information extraction and question answering (QA) tasks. TableQA, which is based on tables, solves problems by understanding the table structure and searching for answers to questions. In this paper, we introduce both novice and intermediate Korean TableQA tasks that involve deducing the answer to a question from structured tabular data and using it to build a question answering pair. To solve Korean TableQA tasks, we use S3-NET, which has shown a good performance in machine reading comprehension (MRC), and propose a method of converting structured tabular data into a record format suitable for MRC. Our experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms a baseline in both the novice task (exact match (EM) 96.48% and F1 97.06%) and intermediate task (EM 99.30% and F1 99.55%).
A system to extract continuously the real 3-D geometric fearture information from 2-D image of an object, which is fed randomly via conveyor has been developed. Two sets of structured laser lightings were utilized. And the laser structured light projection image was acquired using the camera from the signal of the photo-sensor mounted on the conveyor. Camera coordinate calibration matrix was obtained, which transforms 2-D image coordinate information into 3-D world space coordinate using known 6 points. The maximum error after calibration showed 1.5 mm within the height range of 103mm. The correlation equation between the shift amount of the laser light and the height was generated. Height information estimated after correlation showed the maximum error of 0.4mm within the height range of 103mm. An interactive 3-D geometric feature extracting software was developed using Microsoft Visual C++ 4.0 under Windows system environment. Extracted 3-D geometric feature information was reconstructed into 3-D surface using MATLAB.
Due to the recent rapid changes in society and wide spread of information devices, diverse digital information is utilized in a variety of economic and social analysis. Information related to the crime statistics by type of crime has been used as a major factor in crime. However, statistical analysis using only the structured data has the difficulty in the investigation by providing limited information to investigators and users. In this paper, structured data and unstructured data are analyzed by applying Korean Natural Language Processing (Ko-NLP) and the Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) technique. It will provide a crime profile optimum system that can be applied to the crime profiling system or statistical analysis.

In this paper, we propose a method of obtaining high density geometric information using multi-view structured light. Reconstruction error due to the difference in resolution between the projector and the camera occurs when reconstruction a 3D shape from a structured light system to a single projector. This shows that the error in the point cloud in 3D is also the same when reconstruction the shape of the object. So we propose a high density method using multiple projectors to solve such a reconstruction error.

Structured abstracts have been regarded as an essential information factor to represent topics of journal articles. This study aims to provide an unconventional view to utilize structured abstracts with the analysis on sub fields of a structured abstract in depth. In this study, a structured abstract was segmented into four fields, namely, purpose, design, findings, and values/implications. Each field was compared in the performance analysis of document clustering. In result, the purpose statement of an abstract affected on the performance of journal article clustering more than any other fields. Furthermore, certain types of keywords were identified to be excluded in the document clustering to improve clustering performance, especially by Within group average clustering method. These keywords had stronger relationship to a specific abstract field such as research design than the topic of an article.

The high encoding complexity of LDPC codes can be solved by designing structured parity-check matrix. If the parity-check matrix of LDPC codes is composed of same type of blocks, decoder implementation can be simple, this structure allow structured decoding and required memory for storing the parity-check matrix can be reduced largely. In this parer, we propose a construction algorithm for short block length structured LDPC codes based on girth condition, PEG algorithm and variable node connectivity. The code designed by this algorithm shows similar performance to other codes without structured constraint in low SNR and better performance in high SNR than those by simulation

Since most documents used in web, XML, office applications are tree-structured, diff, merge, and version control for tree-structured documents in multi-user environments are crucial tasks. However research on edit scripts which is a basis for them is in primitive stage. In this paper, we present a document model for understanding the change of tree-structured documents as edit scripts are executed, and propose a method of switching adjacent edit operations on tree-structured documents based on the analysis of the effects of edit operations. Mostly, edit scripts which are produced as the results of diff on tree-structured documents only consist of basic operations such as update, insert, delete. However, when move and copy are included in edit scripts, because of the characteristics of their complex operation, it is often that edit scripts are generated to execute in two passes. In this paper, using the proposed method of switching edit operations, we present an algorithm of transforming the edit scripts of X-treeESgen, which are designed to execute in two passes, into the ones that can be executed in one pass.
