This paper presents experiments on the evaluation of characteristics of ER fluids used for vibration control of application in intelligence type process control systems. Dynamic characteristics of the actuator(beam) embedded with the ER fluid can be controlled by changing the strength of the electric field applied on the ER fluids, thus provides a mean to avoid the resonance. In case electric field is supplied to the smart structure with ER fluids, vibration energy is dissipated more than the beam without electric field, because particles in ER fluid form a chain structure in the presence of electric field. The damping and stiffness of the beam with ER fluid are increased when the applied electric field increases. The characteristics of damping and stiffness of the ER fluid with various electric field strength were investigated by conducting a vibration test of the beam with ER fluid. If it applies characteristics of the ER fluids, it will be able to apply in the PLC control system for the vibration which occurs from process system.

공공과 민간부문에 있어 다양한 평가기준에 대하여 집단의사를 반영할 수 있고 주관적이고 객관적인 의사결정변수를 계층적 평가구조에 따라 모두 고려하여 종합평가할 수 있는 집단의사결정 지원시스템으로 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process:계층분석법)이 주목받고 있으며, 이론적으로도 높이 평가되고 있어 현존하는 의사결정기법 중 가장 광범위하게 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도로투자우선순위를 결정하는데 있어 다기준분석기법으로 AHP를 활용토록 하였으며, 이제까지 경제성외에 소홀하게 다루어졌던 환경적인 측면, 주민생활과 지역균형발전 등을 반영한 종합평가를 실시하기 위하여 평가항목별 가중치를 설정하고 각 항목별 평가지표에 대한 도로투자사업 평가배점의 기준을 마련토록 하였다. 또한 AHP를 적용함에 있어 사례 분석할 경상북도 도로투자사업과 같이 평가대상노선이 많을 경우 쌍대비교에 의한 우선순위 평가가 불가능하기 때문에, 상위 평가항목에 대해서는 상대평가법에 의해 가중치를 구하고, 각각의 하위 목적요소에는 평점에 의한 절대평가법을 조합하여 도로투자우선순위를 결정할 수 있는 AHP의 분석방법론을 제안토록 하였다.

Many previous studies of data quality have focused on the realization and evaluation of both data value quality and data service quality. These studies revealed that poor data value quality and poor data service quality were caused by poor data structure. In this study we focus on metadata management, namely, data structure quality and introduce the data quality management maturity model as a preferred maturity model. We empirically show that data quality improves as data management matures.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop service quality indicators to evaluate structure and process of the nursing home service. Method: On the basis of literature review and analysis of existing quality indicators, the researcher made a preliminary service quality indicators and verified content validity twice. The final service quality indicators were applied in 30 nursing homes. Results: Preliminarily, 3 domains, 24 sub-domains, and 156 indicators were generated. Through two content validity testings, the indicators scoring over .80 CVI for each testing were adopted and modified by discussion with a panel of experts. The final indicators consisted of 3 domains, 15 sub-domains, and 128 indicators. These indicators were applied in 30 nursing homes. The result showed that they were easily applicable and suitable for a evaluation of service quality in nursing home. Conclusion: This 'service quality indicators in nursing home' was verified by the content validity. This tool will be able to be used for evaluation and improvement of nursing home service quality. However, repeated researches are needed for further validity and reliability.

A physician survey was done by mailing for the purpose of performing hospital services evaluation and ranking. A slightly over one thousand samples were drawn from the list of professional societies, and 324 physicians(about 32 percent) replied. This study has focused on developing easy and simple method to evaluate hospital services, and providing patients with useful information. Hospital service structure and process were evaluated without outcome evaluation, because it is difficult to obtain reliable data regarding health services outcome indicators. Clinical specialty was targeted to evaluate, and three specialties were chosen, that is obstetrics & gynecology, cardiology, and proctology. Among 16 structural indicators, four indicators were finally chosen in each specialty by respondent specialists. And then using these indicators, structural score was calculated for study hospitals. For process evaluation, physicians were requested to nominate five most famous hospitals. The nomination score and structural score were summed up to produce final score and hospital ranking. This method is very easy to conduct rather than other hospital services evaluation methods prevailing in Korea. And it is more useful for patients to choose hospitals, according to his/her own purpose, because it gives high ranking hospitals with specific clinical specialty.

The purpose of this study was to establish the strategy for Internet fashion homepage advertising that attracts consumers attention and discloses clothing brand to consumers continually. In this paper, the following subjects were set up: (a) to classify the structure and evaluation factors of the fashion homepage advertising, (b) to analyze the effect of demographic variables and clothing involvement of consumer on fashion homepage advertising structures and evaluation factors. A random sample of 553 people in the age group 16-34s living in Seoul and Kyungki region during March 2000 was selected from Internet users. SPSS package was used for data analysis. Frequency, Percentage, Factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test and regression analysis were applied. The results of this research were as follows: First, in the process of classifying the dimension of the fashion homepage advertising, homepage advertising structure was composed of 5 factors: interactive, amusing factor, professional information, fashion information and useful information. And homepage advertising evaluating factors were interesting, information and irritation. Second, it was found that clothing involvement influenced fashion homepage advertising. High involvement group preferred the fashion information factor of the homepage advertising structure and low involvement group was useful information factor of the homepage advertising structure. Both high and low involvement groups preferred interesting factor of the homepage advertising evaluation. Third, demographic variables also influenced fashion homepage advertising Females manifested greater interests in informative factor of homepage advertising than males. Findings from this study provide an insight into fashion homepage advertising strategy related to consumers clothing behavior.

선박설계의 초기단계에서는 여러가지 구획배치 설계안이 생성되고 이에 대한 검토가 반복적으로 수행된다. 이러한 반복작업을 짧은 시간내에 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 수단이 마련된다면 설계능률 향상에 도움이 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 computer를 이용하여 구획배치 설계안을 생성하고 설계안을 검토하는 기법에 대하여 기술하였다. 본 기법에서는 구획을 형성하는 요소들의 계층적 구조를 설정하고 각 요소사이의 관계를 명확히 정의하여 구획배치 전산모델을 생성하며 이를 통하여 설계초기단계에서의 설계안 검토작업이 효과적으로 수행될 수 있도록 하였다. 정의된 구획을 저장하는 자료구조에 대하여 설명하였으며 이 기법을 해양조사선의 구획 배치설계 및 기본계산에 적용한 예를 나타내었다.

A fatigue test was used to evaluate the fatigue life of an actual structure. The loaded state and the constraint condition of an actual structure must be same as the specimen in order to apply the test results to an actual structure by the specimen. The loaded state and constraint conditions can't be same as the specimen in the actual structure which is complicated. In order to reduce these differences, an actual structure test with a lot of frequencies is need to get a fatigue life curve. Therefore, ten sets of accelerated test units which attached unbalanced mass were composed in this study. Acceleration history about the vibration of an actual structure was acquired. Rainflow counting was used on acceleration history, and the life curve return formula was assumed. The return formula that damage satisfied `1' was acquired in a feedback process by the Miner's rule, which was the linear cumulative damage theory. A conservative fatigue life curve was determined with a return formula to have been presumed by each set. The fatigue life of regular rpm condition was calculated by these conservative fatigue life curves.

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a theoretically sound framework for performance analysis that offers many advantages over traditional methods such as performance ratios and regression analysis. Largely the result of multidisciplinary research during the last three decades in economics, engineering and management, DEA is best described as an effective new way of visualizing and analyzing performance data. Besides, overseas information technology companies have aggressively tried to enter the domestic market. In the age of globalization and high competition, it is imperative that the system integration (SI) companies need to introduce the performance evaluation models of SI projects, including Capability Maturity Model and Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination, to gain a competitive advantage. Therefore, it makes our research regarding evaluation of SI projects very opportune. The purpose of the study is not only to evaluate efficiency of each project by DEA but also to gain insight into various factors such as project complexity, team members' man-months structure, and process index(project management index) that link to the projects performance.

In this paper, we would like to explain about the structure analysis of wheel set as variation of contact position between wheel and rail. Measurement of interacted force between wheel and rail is necessary for running safety evaluation as important factor of derailment mechanism. It's necessary to running safety evaluation of rolling stock. Wheel unload and lateral force change as variation of contact position between wheel and rail. Interacted force between wheel and rail got as each contact position through computer simulation. This is necessary process as first research for evaluation of derailment phenomenon and running safety.
