In this study, liner unit root tests and panel unit root tests to the ratio of city to regional house price were applied to examine the ripple effects across 28 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region. Then invert LM unit root tests with two structural breaks for 10 representative cities were conducted. The results showed that there is overwhelming evidence of the existence of ripple effect in the Yangtze River Delta region, while segmentation is restricted to a small group of cities in which there is no long-run relationship with the Yangtze River Delta region average; compared to no- and one-break case, there is overwhelming evidence of a ripple effect with the LM test with two structural breaks. Furthermore, the results of the Granger causality test showed that changes in house prices in Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou have led to changes in house prices in other cities. The findings of this research make certain contributions to the improvements of research system of ripple effect among regional house prices in the Yangtze River Delta Region,and could be referenced by other markets of other cities.

Purpose: According to previous studies, customer experience had a significant effect on consumer behaviors. In this perspective, this study investigates the structural relationship among customer experience, resort use satisfaction, and customer behavioral intentions, with focus on the mediating role of resort use satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology: Data collected from 361 individuals who had experienced the resort service were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and AMOS 29.0, involving frequency analysis, HTMT, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model testing. Result: Firstly, cognitive, and relational experiences had significant effect on resort use satisfaction. Secondly, resort use satisfaction had significant effect on customer behavioral intentions. Thirdly, resort use satisfaction had partial mediating effects in the relationship between customer experiences and customer behavioral intentions. Conclusion: This study academically confirmed the empirical link between customer experience and consumer behaviors. From a practical standpoint, it suggests the necessity of marketing activities that enhance customers' perception of their experiences, as well as resort use satisfaction and customer behavioral intentions, through systematic CS education and management of the physical environment.

Bridge dynamic behaviors are examined under seismic excitations including the local scour effect. The corresponding simplified mechanical model, which can also consider the effect of other influence elements, is proposed to simulate the bridge motions. The scour depth around the pier is estimated by the CSU equation recommended by the HEC-18, and the local scour effect upon global bridge motions is then investigated by applying various foundation stiffness based upon the reduced embedded depths. From the results, it is found that seismic responses of a bridge with the same scour depth level for both piers increase as the scour depth increase due to the local scour effect. The scour effect is found to be significant under weak excitations and still to be quite notable even for moderate excitations.

In current practice of earthquake resistant design the equivalent lateral force procedure is widely used for its simplicity and convenience. But the equivalent lateral force procedure is derived based on the assumption that the dynamic behavior of the structure is governed primarily by the fundamental vibration mode. Therefore proper prediction of dynamic responses of the structure is unreliable using the equivalent lateral force procedure when the effect of higher vibration modes on the dynamic behavior is negligible. In this study design seismic load which can reflect the effect of higher vibration modes is proposed from the point of view of proper assessment of story shears which have the major influence on the design moment of beams and columns. To evaluate the effect of higher modes, differences between the story force based on the equivalent lateral force procedure specified in current earthquake resistance building code and the one based on modal analysis using design spectrum are examined. From these results improved design seismic load for the equivalent lateral force procedure which can reflect the effect of higher vibration modes is proposed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationships among adolescents' internet addiction, self-esteem, self-control, and aggression. The participants were 300 students in their first year of middle school. The questionnaire consisted of measures of internet addiction, self-esteem, self-control, and aggression. The major findings were as follows: 1) self-control had a direct effect on aggression; 2) internet addiction had a direct effect on self-esteem and self-control; 3) self-esteem had a direct effect on self-control; 4) internet addiction had an indirect effect on aggression and self-control; and self-esteem had an indirect effect on aggression. This study implied that self-related variables could mediate the relationship between the possibility of internet addiction and adolescents' aggression. This study also suggested that research on various mediator variables could reduce adolescents' psychosocial problems.

The purpose of this study was to test a structural model about family income as causally related to family hardiness, pile-up stress, communication, and family adaptation in families of children with disabilities. 250 families of children with disabilities participated as subjects. The models were developed on the basis of confirmatory factor analysis and compared using covariance structure modeling(LISREL). Adequate fitness of the model was observed. Family income showed negative effect on pile-up stress and positive effect on family adaptation. Pile-up stress showed negative effect on family hardiness. Family hardiness showed positive effect on family communication, and family communication showed positive effect on family adaptation.

The paper is aimed at investigating the buckling strength of single-layer latticed domes with the geometrically initial imperfection under the uniformly distributed vertical-loading and the partially concentrated equipment-loading. The results show that the effect of initial imperfection on the buckling strength, if the magnitude of equipment-loading is small, is much more sensitive in domes of overall buckling than in domes of member buckling, but with increasing equipment-loading, it is very sensitive both in domes of overall buckling and of member buckling

C-terminus specific immobilization often results in a increased structural stability resistant to various denaturation factors. In order to elucidate the immobilization effect on the c-terminus in molecular level, we made over 200 protein data set from Protein Data Bank(PDB), analyzed c-terminus structure of each protein, and investigated the structural relationship with the stabilizing factors such as hydrogen bond, ion pairs, cation pi, disulfide bond, solvation free energy, surface area, flexibility and so on.

Latticed domes take form a curved surface by arranged members with certain patterns. For this reason, it is possible for the characteristics of vibration to complicate by change of various parameters of dome; grid-pattern, boundary condition and ratio of radius-height etc. Therefore, it is important to clarify the effect by these parameters before generalized dynamic response analysis. So this study deals with free vibration analysis of latticed domes and makes clear an effect of shape coefficient, that is, geometrical characteristics of latticed domes, on the vibration characteristics.

Three high strength reinforced concrete structural walls were tested under the combined action of a constant axial and a horizontal cycle load. The aim of the tests has been to investigate the effects of the web horizontal reinforcement on hysteretic behavior of wall. The results have helped to identify the causes of wall failure and have demonstrated the web horizontal reinforcement does not appear have a significant effect on shear capacity, stiffness and energy dissipation but have a significant effect on the failure mode of the walls.
