The purpose of this study was to find out a correlation of clinical nurse's character, clinical practice stress, stress coping and factor affecting nursing professional value on nursing students in Korea, and to use it as a basic data in developing nursing professional value promotion programs for nursing students. The study was composed of 145 students who were studying in fourth year student at colleges. Data were collected from May to June, 2019. Data analysis included an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression using the SPSS program. As a result of this study, nursing professional value of those was significantly correlated with clinical nurse's character, clinical practice stress and stress coping. In a regression analysis, nursing professional value accounted for 38.2%(F=43.973, p=.000), of the variance of clinical nurse's character and stress coping. The most significant factor affection the success of nursing professional value was stress coping(β=.508, p=.000). The result of the study indicates the importance of developing clinical nurse's character and applying variety stress coping method for positive nursing professional value of nursing students.
This study was to determine differences and relations in nursing students' clinical practice stress and clinical competence by gender role identity. The study made a questionnaire survey of 450 nursing students of 2 colleges in J city, Gyeongnam, from June 1st to 30th, 2020. Data from 417 sheets were finally analyzed with descriptive statistics, χ2test, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, correlation and hierarchial regression analysis. The analysis found that most of the participants belonged to undifferentiated type(34.3%) in gender role identity. Clinical competence showed significantly different(F=20.98, p<.001), but clinical practice stress showed no significant difference depending on that identity(F=1.56, p=.199). Clinical competence had positive correlations with the index of masculinity(r=.397, p<.001) or the index of feminity(r=.325, p<.001), but had no with clinical practice stress(r=.061, p=.217). Gender role identity turned out to be a factor that would significantly influence clinical competence(F=6.67, p<.001). These findings suggest that gender role identity of nursing students should be confirmed prior to clinical practice education and, thereon, interventions for clinical competence improvement should be developed.
This study was developed to provide the basis for efficient bedside training by discovering and analyzing ways to reduce stress when students are in clinical practice. The present study was conducted using a 3-part questionnaire format and was based on 253 participants who were students completing clinical practice. The results showed that environmental factors were the most stressful for students in the department of radiology. According to the questionnaire, the highest factor relating to stress was 'standing for long durations' with a value of $3.27{\pm}1.04$, and values were respectively high in the sections on' disregard when students have a lack of knowledge' and 'repetition in simple tasks'. Students who had a good training atmosphere, good relationships with clinical radiological technologists and other students, and students who had high self-esteem showed low stress levels. The effect on BEPSI scale increased as interpersonal relationships and performance declined. Therefore, training institutions should consider relaxation areas for students, radiological technologists should not ignore the reality that students do not have substantial knowledge in clinical practice and comparisons made between students should not exist. In addition, there is the need to make an effort to reduce stress experienced by students in clinical practice through the use of positive communication and encouragement by assigning various training opportunities, providing areas to sit and initiating relaxation periods for students to reduce fatigue, as well as challenging students rather than restricting them to the simple and repetitive routines they encounter in clinical practice.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of rude experienced by nursing students during clinical practice and to investigate the impact of incivility and stress coping strategies on nursing professional value formation. Research instrument were measured using incivility, stress coping strategies, and nursing professional value. Data analysis was performed using SPSS WIN 20.0. The results of the study were as follows: First, among general characteristics, there were significant differences in the degree of incivility in cases of gender, grade, satisfaction with clinical practice, satisfaction with clinical practice environment, and experience of incivility among clinical practice. In addition, the difference of nursing professional value showed significant difference according to major satisfaction, clinical practice satisfaction, and clinical practice environment satisfaction. Second, incivility is correlated with problem-solving(r=.36), social support(r=.26), avoidance(r=.25), and nursing professional value(r=-. 16). The results of this study suggest that satisfactory clinical practice environment and clinical practice experience are important for establishing nursing professional value of nursing students.

PURPOSE: The purpose of the present study is to apply foot therapy at diverse temperatures to students in the Department of Physical Therapy who are experiencing clinical practice to find the most effective foot-bath temperatures for stress relief. METHODS: Sixty four students in the department of physical therapy who were undergoing the course on clinical practice participated in the present study. SDNN, TP, LF, and HF were measured to compare the control group, cold group, tepid group, and the hop group. The data were analyzed through analysis of covariance and paired t-tests. RESULTS: Although SDNN increased in the cold group and the tepid group, the differences were not statistically significant. TP and LF showed statistically significant increases in the cold group. In comparisons between the groups, the cold group showed statistically significant increases compared to the control group and the hot group. Although the tepid group also showed increases, the differences were not statistically significant. HF statistically decreased in the hot group. In comparisons between the groups, statistically significant differences appeared between the cold group and the hot group. CONCLUSION: Cold foot-bath was the most effective therapy on the stress of students in the department of physical therapy who were experiencing clinical practice. Tepid foot-bath had the same directivity but showed no statistically significant difference. Hot foot-bath was shown to rather increase stress.

This study examined effects of preceptorship in a clinical maternity nursing course. The study design was a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group post-test design. The control groups (n=70, from July to October, 2012) participated in traditional practice method and the experimental groups (n=70, from December, 2012, to February, 2013) participated by a preceptor who attended a systematic preceptor education program. The data analyzed included the numbers, percentages, mean, standard deviation, and t-test using SPSS 19.0/WIN. In the experimental group, the clinical competency and practice satisfaction showed significantly higher scores, and the stress of clinical practice showed significantly lower scores than control group. Consequently, the preceptorship was effective in clinical maternity nursing education for student nurses and it is necessary to adapt this many areas in the clinical nursing education field for nursing students.

The purpose of this study was identify the level of stress, anger and anger expression in the clinical setting and identify the relation ships between anger and stress of nursing students in the clinical setting. A convenient sample of 213 junior college of nursing students was used for the study. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson Correlation Coefficients. The results of this study were summarized as follows : 1. The average stress score in the clinical setting of subjects was 3.87. The higher level of stress in the clinical setting was 4.10 in domain of nurses, 4.10 in domain of human relationships, 4.07 in domain of report and 3.89 in domain of relationship between nursing theory and practice. 2. The average state-anger score of subjects was 1.54. 3. The average anger-out score of anger expression mode was 1.66 and 2.36 in anger-in. 4. The state-anger was found significantly related to stress of nursing students in the clinical setting (r=0.256 p<0.001). In the relationship between state- anger and stress in the clinical setting, environment, patient relationship, between nursing theory and practice, nurses, report, orientation were significantly positive correlation . 5. The anger-out of anger expression mode was not found significantly related to stress of nursing students in the clinical setting. 6. The anger-in of anger expression mode was found significantly related to stress of nursing students in the clinical setting (r=0.205 p<0.01). In the relationship between anger-in of anger expression mode and stress in the clinical setting, environment, patient, nurses, human relationships, conference were significantly positive correlation.

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was a meaningful change in the learning perception and interpersonal relations of nursing students after completing clinical practice. Participants were 32 nursing students in the third grade. The research data were collected by questionnaire consisting of interpersonal relations and learning perception. The analysis of data was analyzed by SPSS 21 Version. General characteristics were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation between variables was analyzed by Pearson's relation, and differences of variables before and after clinical practice were analyzed by paired t-test. The results of the study are as follows. In clinical practice, interpersonal abilities showed a significant correlation with learning outcomes (R =.351, p =.049). The interpersonal abilities of nursing students improved significantly(t =2.264, p =.13) after completion of clinical practice. Nursing college students recognized that their interpersonal abilities had improved after completion of clinical practice, and the improvement of interpersonal abilities was statistically supported. Considering that the interpersonal relationship was an important factor in the clinical practice related stress of the nursing college students, it was meaningful that the interpersonal ability improved after the clinical practice. The positive correlation between interpersonal abilities and learning perceptions in clinical practice of nursing college students suggests future directions for future research. The results of this study will provide basic data on education that will enhance the satisfaction of students' clinical practice and improve their learning outcomes.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the experience of incivility in clinical practice and stress coping strategies among students enrolled in the Department of Dental Hygiene with clinical practice experience. The study randomly sampled subjects from a group of 150 dental hygiene students attending the Chungcheong area. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis were conducted. The trainees experienced a level of incivility of 1.69, and their level of coping with the resulting stress was 2.58. The study found significant results in terms of gender, clinical practice, and major satisfaction when examining the incivility experienced by trainees based on general characteristics. Among these general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in the avoidance focus among the sub-domains depending on the grade, number of practicums, and satisfaction with clinical practice. Additionally, the problem-solving focus showed significant results depending on satisfaction with the major. The incivility experienced by trainees showed a positive correlation with avoidance-oriented coping among stress coping strategies (r=.268), social support-seeking coping (r=-.045), and problem-solving-oriented coping (r=-.034) was found to have a negative correlation. If you find yourself in a situation where you encounter incivility, it is believed that developing communication skills and assertiveness training can help you respond more actively instead of passively, which is an avoidance-oriented approach. In addition, it is important to consider that schools and training organizations should collaborate to establish an official reporting system to ensure that any instances of incivility experienced by trainees are not ignored.

This study analyzes research trends by systematically examining research about domestic emergency medical services' clinical practice, and it is aimed to present the basic data needs in development plan in clinical practice education in the future. The thesis was searched through the electronic data research (Science Direct, PubMed, Medline, and 55 academic DB interworking) from the library of Konyang University from 2010 to 2021. The main keywords were "Emergency Medical Technician(EMT) Student" and "Clinical Practice," and 6 pieces of researches were selected, finally. As the result of analyzing the qualitative level of selected research, all the 6 pieces of research subjects(100.0%) were pertinent to level IV(survey research) which is low-qualitative level. As the principal subjects, "Clinical practice experience" got the highest frequency as 6(100%), "Satisfaction of clinical practice" was 3(50%), "Self-efficient, Major satisfaction" and "Stress, Depression, Coping" showed 2 (33.3%), and "Change after clinical practice", "Clinical practice improvement plan" was 1(16.7%) each. From this time on, it is confirmed that the quantitative and qualitative growth in domestic emergency medical clinical practice is necessary. This is expected to contribute to establishing a practical and systematic development plan of clinical practice education.
