농산물 구매선택 속성이 로컬푸드 직매장 이용에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Selection Attributes for Agricultural Products on Using Local Food Store)

  • Purpose - As consumers' needs for purchasing fresh and safe food have been bigger in Korea, their interest in local food is also growing recently. So, the number of local food stores has been increased from 3 in 2012 to 103 in 2015. Local food stores should operate a business responding consumers' needs in order that local food stores are not to be a one-time fad. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of consumers who use a local food store and provide helpful implications to design a strategy for sustainable growth of local food store. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, Probit model was used for empirical analysis in order to examine the effect of purchase choice attributes of agricultural products, consumer's satisfaction, and their demographic factors upon the intention to use a local food store. After estimating coefficients of the probit model, marginal effects were calculated as a standard normal, and cumulative distribution is differentiated with respect to explanatory variables. To collect the data, questionnaire survey was carried out with the consumers using the local food store (Youngjin Nonghyup near to Jeonju city located in Jeollabuk-do). Result - The data analysis found that the more consumers are satisfied with local food store, the higher intention they have to use the local food store. In addition, it was known that the factors related to quality of agricultural products and shopping convenience among the purchase choice attributes have a considerable impact on the purchase intention of a local food store. In demographic factors, income was turned out to be an important factor affecting purchase intention of local food. Such a result supports the hypothesis that high income consumers are likely to purchase local food, which is based on the inference that consumers who have a high income tend to pursue wellbeing life. Futhermore, information delivery, through a reputable media source among general factors, was known to play an important role in forming an intention to purchase local food. According to the analysis of marginal effects, probability of purchase intention of a local food store is increased by 11.4%, if a monthly average income of a household is above 4.5 million Won(Korean currency). If purchasing satisfaction with local food stores is high, the probability of purchase intention would be increased by 24.1%. Likewise, such a probability goes up by 8.7%, 5.8%, respectively as an increasing one unit of quality of agricultural products and shopping convenience of local food stores, respectively. Conclusion - For attaining sustainable growth in a local food store, it is considered necessarily to establish a proper store operation system to meet consumers' needs, especially for quality and shopping convenience of local food. Moreover, as it was found that appropriate communication through media source has a positive effect on the intention to use local food store, PR activity seems to be necessary to expand the consumers' demands for local foods.

  • 우리나라 농축산물시장의 개방이후 농축산물의 공급과밍 현상으로 소비자들의 구매선택권이 다양화되고, 재배기술의 평준화 및 주산지가 확대되면서 생산물을 차별화, 특화시키는 전략의 일환으로 브랜드화의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 그러나 농축산물 브랜드화의 중요성에도 불구하고 브랜드 개발과정에서 많은 문제점을 노출하고 있는 것이 현 실태이다. 따라서 본 연구는 농축산물의브랜드화의 현황을 분석한 후 브랜드화에 따른 문제점을 도출하고 도출된 문제점들을 중심으로 이에 대한 개선점을 마케팅관점에서 제시하였다. 결론적으로 브랜드화의 성공을 위하여 지역농협을 중심으로 개발된 브랜드의 지속적인 관리와 함께 생산자단체 등에 대한 브랜드 지식창조를 위한 교육이 필요하다.

품질인증 친환경농산물의 소비자가치 추정 및 유통정책 방향에 관한 연구 - 천안지역의 쌀, 상추, 두부를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development Strategies and Measuring Consumer′s Willingness to Pay for the Quality-Certificated Environmental-Friend Products - Focused on Rice, Lettuce, and Bean Curd at Cheonan-city)

  • The study must have standpoints for the stable market construction of the Environmental-Friendly agricultural products of the quality-certificated which has rapidly grown due to a discussion of the environment and agriculture, income increase and the interests on foods stability. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interview of 200 adults who are in their twenties or more in Cheonan-city. In this research, the Environmental-Friendly agriculture was a clean agriculture not using a fertilizer or chemicals and the agriculture which protects the environment by preventing the environmental pollution. In the analyses of the consumer's willingness to pay, the rice showed 69,851 won, and a lettuce and bean-curd showed 947 won and 1.412 won respectively. In terms of current issues of the policy, to establish the stable circulation structure and consumption strategy, there must be a clearness raise of the Quality Authentication (QA) Mark. To raise the trust through quality authentication, there must be transparency raise of information by distribution stages and the thorough post management of the official institutes. Also, to persue the competitive product differentiation, there must be the settlement of the product brand on the market, development of the new production technology and a classification of consumers by incomes. Finally to construct stable distribution and price system, there must be active participation of the local agricultural cooperatives in the distribution of the Environmental-Friendly agricultural products of the quality-certificated and the understanding of the proper price of the consumer market and flexible strategy of the price change.

대형유통업체 구매담당자의 농산물 구매 행태에 관한 연구 (How do Merchandisers in Large Retailers Purchase Agriculture Products?)

  • 본 연구에서는 7개 대형유통업체 신선식품(농산, 수산, 축산, 가공식품) 구매담당자(Merchandiser, MD)를 대상으로 구매 행태를 분석하였다. 특히 대형유통업체의 산지 공급업체와의 거래 특성과 산지 직구입 특성을 중점적으로 분석하였다. 대형유통업체 구매담당자 설문조사 결과, 산지 공급업체 선정시 안정적인 물량 공급, 품질관리, 적극적인 경영마인드, 저렴한 가격, 차별화 상품 제안 순으로 중요하게 보았다. 산지 직구입과 관련하여 직구입 거래대상에 대한 선호도가 기존의 주요 거래대상인 벤더업체와 도매시장보다 높았고, 직구입 거래대상 중에는 영농조합 법인(농업번인 포함)을 가장 선호하고, 그 다음이 농협중앙회, 단위농협순이다. 공급 업체와의 거래에서 대형유통업체 구매담당자는 2년 이상 장기간 거래를 선호하고, 계약가격 결정시에는 시장시세(50.9%), 생산원가(31.2%) 및 동업계 판매가(18.0%)를 활용하였다. 산지 유통조직이 소비지 유통환경의 변화에 적극적으로 대응하기 위해서는 농산물 생산의 조직화, 규모화 및 유통 채널의 전문화 전략이 필요하다. 공급 시스템의 지속성과 안정성이 요구되어 생산조직 간 연계를 통한 연중 공급 가능한 대응 체계 구축 역시 중요하다. 또한 시장 교섭력 강화를 위한 노력으로 소비지 다양한 시장 정보 수집도 놓치지 말아야 할 것이다.

농산물 직거래 유통채널별 저해요인 분석과 활성화 방안 (Analysis of Factor Hindering and Promotion Strategy on the Direct Marketing of Agricultural Products)

  • Purpose - This paper is for the Analysis on the Hindrance Factors and Activation Scheme by the Type of Distribution Channel in Direct transaction of Agricultural Products. As the distribution structure of agricultural products has become changable, farmers seem to use the type of direct distribution in order to enhance the receiving price. This study aims to explore the hindrance factors and income variation rate in direct transaction of agricultural produces, specifically focusing on the 167 farmers. Research design, data, and methodology - To ascertain the hindrance factors exactly by the type of distribution channel, the managements were classified by four subcategories, that is high sales percentage with shopping malls, SNS, shopping malls and SNS, and off-line direct transaction. Results - As a result of the hypothesis test, hinderance factors in online direct deal activation were found to be in the order of the difficulty in continuous content production, the difficulty in shopping mall operation and maintenance, and the difficulty in card commission problems, and in the order of the difficulties in continuous content production, the difficulty in continuous content production, the difficulty in shopping mall operation and maintenance, and the difficulty in branding for the SNS group. Thus, it can be seen that the difficulty in continuous content production, shopping mall operation and maintenance were found to be the biggest obstacles. In addition, hindering factors in online direct deal activation were found to be in the order of the difficulty in credit card settlement, the difficulty in publicity, and the difficulty in dealing with unsold goods. The group with high sales rate in shopping mall was found to be increased by 23.9% in the gross income compared to the previous year, the group with high SNS sales ratio increased by 56.5%, the group with direct offline transaction increased by 37.1%, among which the group with the highest increase rate of SNS sales ratio was found to be the highest from the rate of increase/decrease of the income, which was statistically significant. Conclusions - It can be suggested that government and local government may provide agricultural management with supporting plan which in turn can activate direct transaction in any possible ways.

지역특산주류 소비자 구매 결정 요인분석 (An Analysis of Consumer Purchasing Decision Determinants on Local Liquors)

  • Purpose - Since the local liquor industry uses the agricultural products produced in the region as the main raw material, cultivation of the industry can be a way to expand the demand for domestic agricultural products and can contribute to the income increase of the farmers. In addition, the local liquor industry can be developed into a region-specific industry differentiated from other regions by linking with the region's tourism resources. Therefore, in order to achieve various derivative effects through promotion of the local liquor industry, it is necessary to precisely understand the factors related to the purchase and consumption of local liquor which then will lead to an increase in consumption. This study analyzes the current status and problems of local liquor industries and examines the determinants of consumers' purchasing decisions of regional specialties through questionnaires. We will then propose a strategy to promote consumption of locally produced alcoholic beverages. Research design, data, and methodology - An online Domestic Consumer Survey was conducted to identify the actual purchases and uses of local liquors for 500 consumers nationwide. Based on the questionnaire results, the analysis uses an ordered probit model. Results - As a result of analyzing the effect of consumer characteristics on the purchase of local liquors, it was found that the average cost of drinking, income, local specialty, brewery experience, and health concerns have a significant effect on gender, drinking frequency. All the variables except the participation in the training of the special provincial manufacturing method were found to be statistically significant. The statistical significance was at a 1% significance level for the remaining factors excluding the bottle design. This shows that the higher taste, quality, price, and harmony with food, the higher the probability of purchasing local liquors. Conclusions - In the analysis of factors influencing the purchase intention of local liquors, it was found that factors such as taste, quality, price, and harmony with food had a significant effect. Given the diversity of purchasing factors, the importance of diversification strategies is emphasized again. In particular, it will be important to secure wide publicity for local liquors through various PR strategies.

  • 본 연구는 경북 영주시와 프랜차이즈 기업인 정도너츠가 농촌프랜차이즈 사업화로 지역경제 활성화를 이룬 사례 분석을 통해 농촌프랜차이즈 사업화에 대한 개념을 정립하는데 목적이 있다. 정도너츠는 찹쌀도너츠를 전문적으로 판매하는 외식프랜차이즈 기업으로 영주시 작목반과 협력하여 원료를 계약재배 하고 있다. 이런 농촌프랜차이즈사업의 이점으로는 첫째, 지역농산물의 안정적 판로개척에 큰 의미가 있다. 원재료의 대부분을 영주시 농산물로 사용함으로써 농가의 안정적 판로 역할을 한다. 둘째, 원재료의 안정적 수급으로 인해 합리적 가격 설정이 가능하다. 이는 생산자와 소비자에게 모두 해당되는 이점이다. 셋째, 고용증가의 효과가 있다. 프랜차이즈 본사, 가맹점에 대한 직원고용과 작목반의 인력 증가가 이루어져 고용을 증대시킨다. 마지막으로 지역 특산물의 홍보 효과이다. 프랜차이즈 기업이 전국적으로 가맹사업을 확산함에 따라 원료가 되는 품목의 마케팅적 홍보가 동시에 이루어진다. 성공적인 농촌프랜차이즈사업화를 위해서는 다음의 세 가지 요건이 필요하다. 먼저 체계적 물류시스템의 구축이다. 산지에서 직접 유통되어 전국 가맹점으로 납품되기 위해서는 안정적 물류시스템이 요구된다. 둘째 지속적인 연구개발 활동이다. 원재료 및 기기장비에 대한 연구 활동을 통해 가장 효과적으로 활용할 수 있어야 한다. 셋째, 상호 신뢰관계 구축이 필요하다. 각 주체 간 비전을 공유하며 함께 움직이는 신뢰 관계를 구축해야 장기적 사업 성과를 얻을 수 있다.

친환경 인증 농경지의 공간적 특성 분석 - 전라남도를 대상으로 - (An Analysis of Spatial Characteristics of Environmental-Friendly Certified Farms - Focused on Jeollanam-do -)

  • As the demand for environmental-friendly agricultural products continues to rise due to increased concerns regarding food safety and ecosystem conservation, it is becoming important to identify regions and spatial locations where environmental-friendly should be intensively established for production integration. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution of environmental-friendly certified farms in Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Spatial statistical analysis based on Local Moran's I and Getis-Ord Gi* were used to identify spatial cluster characteristics and landscape indices were utilized to analyze spatial patterns of environmental-friendly certified farms. The results indicated that Haenam-gun, Gangjin-gun, Muan-gun, and Jindo-gun were identified as hotspots, while Muan-gun, Goheung-gun, and Jindo-gun exhibited high connectivity. This suggests that environmental-friendly certified farms in Muan-gun and Jindo-gun were clustered and closely connected to one another. Based on the results of the spatial distribution of environmental-friendly certified farms, areas belonging to the hotspot and with high connectivity should be managed as clustered districts to secure the foundation and system of environmental-friendly certified farms. Areas that belong to cold spots and have low connectivity should be preceded by measures to promote conversion to environmental-friendly agriculture. In addition, it is necessary to make it possible to create a large-scale cluster district through a long-term spatial planning strategy to expand the environmental-friendly certified farms. The findings of this study can provide quantitative data on policies and discussions for developing a model for rural spatial planning.

한국경제지리학 반세기:연구성과와 과제 (Fifty years of economic geography in Korea:research trends and issues)

  • 한국 경제지리학은 지난 반세기동안 연구의 범위나 양적인 면에서 상당한 변화를 겪어왔다. 본 연구에서는 편의상 한국경제지리학을 농업지리학, 공업지리학, 상업,서비스,유통지리학,교통지리학으로 나누어 각각 연구성과와 과제를 검토하였다. 농업지리학은 1970년대 중반이전에 한국경제지리학의 발전을 주도하였으나 1970년대 중반이후 연구활동이 타분야에 비하여 상대적으로 활발하지 못하였다. 연구주제도 1970년대 중반 전후간에 큰차이가 없으나 다만 최근들엇 농업공간의 변화나 겸업 지역분화 등 농업활동과 농업지역의 동태성을 더욱 강조하고 있다. 공업지리학은 1980년대 이후 연구가 가장 활발히 전개된 분야인데 최근에는 전통적으로 연구되어온 입지변화나 공업지역구조뿐만 아니라 기업조직의 변화 생산체계와 산업공간의 변화 첨단기술산업발전과 과학단지개발 산업구조조정과 지역경제, 해외직접투자, 산업지구와 산업공간연계 등 다양한 주제의 연구가 이루어졌다. 상업,서비스,유통지리학에서는 1980년대까지 정기시장, 상가구조, 상품별 유통에 관한 연구가 주로 이루어졌으나 1990년대에 들어서는 생산자서비스를 중심으로한 서비스산업과 고나련된 연구들이 많이 이루어졌다. 교통지리학에서는 그동안 지속적으로 통근, 화물운송체계, 교통망 등에 대한 연구가 중심을 이루고 있는데, 이중에서 통근에 대한 연구가 가장 활발히 이루어졌고 최근에는 통근연구의 주제도 다양해졌다. 본 연구에서 각 분야별로 앞으로의 연구과제를 지적하였는데 경제지리전반에서 볼때 지역경제 또는 국가경제의 경쟁적 우위의 변화와 경제구조재편 및 그에 따른 지역구조변화, 경제지리학에서의 환경문제, 첨단기술의 발달과 정보화에 따른 산업공간조직의 변화. 문화와 경제발전. 해외지역연구 등이 앞으로 중점적으로 다루어져야할 주요 연구과제이다.
