The paper presents a case study with application of a performance measurement questionnaire in analyzing a semi-conductor-related manufacturing company. The case may contribute to the development of strategic performance measurement system. The questionnaire contains considerable non-financial measurement indices as well as financial ones, which may strengthen the strategic aspect of measurement system. The strategy, actions, and measures have to be balanced through communication process in an organization. The result shows the usefulness of the congruence and consensus analysis of performance factors in effectively managing strategic action programs and identifying investment task areas to be targeted.

A strategic model on quality management system was developed and applied for the public service sector. The public service sector includes a wide range of organizations such as local authorities responsible for education, social services and housing, government departments, military forces, and public enterprises like post office and Korean Railroad. Quality management requires strategic integration of management system for achieving customer satisfaction. Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed for this study. Conclusively, leadership and organization culture are the important drivers among the quality management activities. Human resource development and process management are significantly related to employee satisfaction, which also significantly influences on customer satisfaction in the public sector.

The total pollution load management system of watershed has been implemented upon Special Law pertaining to the Han River Watershed Water Quality Improvement and Residents Support, Special Law pertaining to the Nakdong River Watershed Water Management and Residents Support, Special Law pertaining to the Youngsan River Watershed Water Management and Residents Support, and Special Law pertaining to the Seomjin River Watershed Water Management and Residents Support in Korea since 2002. But many other similar systems with total pollution load management system of watershed are being operated separately or independently, even though its purpose is nearly same with those of the total maximum pollutants load management in Law on Water Quality Environmental Protection, environmental impact assessment(EIA) in Law of Impact Assessment on Environment, Transportation and Disaster and Pre-environmental assessment of Environmental Policy Act. Therefore the contents of total pollution load management system of watershed and many other related systems could be overlapped and at some times have inconsistency among them. This study suggests first the integrated operation of total pollution load management system of watershed, EIA, pre-environmental assessment, urban planning, and sewage planning and secondly EIA system development by integration of EIA and pre-environmental assessment and strategic environmental assessment(SEA).

This paper suggests a dynamic balanced scorecard (DBSC) model employing the concept of system dynamics (SD), which could overcome the limitations inherent in the conventional balanced scorecard (BSC) and facilitate strategic learning process in organizations. The BSC has been a successful framework for measuring an organization＇s performance in various Perspectives through translating an organization＇s vision and strategy into an interrelated set of key performance indicators and specific actions. The BSC, while having significant strengths over traditional performance measurement methods, however, has its own limitations, due to its static nature, such as overlooking two-way causation between performance Indicators and neglecting the impact of delayed feedback flowing from the adoption of new strategies or policy changes. To overcome these limitations, we employs SD, a methodology for understanding complex systems where dynamic feedback among the interrelated system components significantly impact on the system outcomes. The SD simulation model in the form of DBSC we suggest in this paper would serve as a useful strategic learning tool for facilitating an organization＇s communication process through various scenario analyses as well as predicting the dynamic behavior pattern of their key performance measures over a future time frame. For the demonstration purpose, we apply the DBSC model to Korea Coal Corporation (KoCoal ) BSC case.

This paper reviewed outline of Strategic Niche Management(SNM) and its usefulness and limits as policy tool. SNM is based on Multi Level Perspective(MLP) that traces technological innovation and makes transition of lock-in socio-technical system. This approach is one of systematical then traditional one, market failure approach. SNM had get a attention not only as a analytical frame of technological development, but also tool of radical innovation, although its limits of theoretical and empirical immaturity. SNM could provide a new perspective to analysis and action within urgent needs of alternative innovation policy for aging society, news energy policy for sustainable and disaster policy in danger society.

E-business is one of business innovations to get competitive advantage over other competing companies by utilizing information technology which can make to enhance the efficiencies and effectiveness through connecting one or several value activities. E-transformation is the process of business innovation to trans brick and motor companies to brick and click companies to accomodate e-business environments by means of digitalizing business strategy, business system, business process, and company cultures. In this results, the company can develop entirely new value chain of business and render enhanced services to customers. In this paper, I will represent several e-transformation evaluation models which are used to realize e-transformation(trans from brick and motor companies to brick and click companies). Also, I propose the strategic thrust model, which is composed of strategic targets (customer, suppliers, partners) and strategic tools(technology innovation, integration). This model is differentiated with evaluation models in that it can capture the rapidly changing business environments, especially strategic targets(customers, suppliers, partners).

This paper deals with the case study of the establishment of decision supporting system in shipbuilding industory. Facts or information of shipbuilding, sales, finance, production strategic planning in shipbuilding industry are considered. General transportation model for shipyard production schedule is formulated, and shipbuilding demand forecasting scheme is also introduced. This paper shows the several methods of DSS in shipbuilding industry. But production schedule strategic planning system by OR technique is emphasized. For the realization of DSS in shipbuilding industry, another efforts (data gathering and programming etc.) should be given on the basis of these methods.

In recent business environments, the competition among firms is shifting from the competition based on individual firm only to the competition based on alliance of firms. This is because it is not easy for a firm to perform all functions which consumers want. Thus, it is more effective to combine core competencies of different firms based on a strategic partnership. It is essential to establish a strategic partnership and this strategic partnership is a key success factor in PSS(Product-Service System) which combines products and services. In this paper, we propose a profit sharing model for PSS partnership. We first analyze customer's utility using Cobb-Douglas utility function and then propose the PSS profit sharing ratio considering functionalities and cost structures based on the combination ratio of PSS. This paper helps firms to develop partnership strategies for PSS.

Due to the advance of artificial intelligence, wide use of RPA(Robotic Process Automation) became inevitable. The purpose of this study is to seek cost management optimization based on RPA which has automatic collection of cost information, timeliness and flexibility. The cost management system based on RPA will be able to optimize and improve the cost management process through the cross-system of cost information recognition and the cloud platform. Following the review of previous researches on the benefit of the RPA-related technology along with the investigation on the problems of current cost management system, this study will suggest a way to adopt RPA to optimize cost management system for the implement of strategic management accounting to support management decision making.

In this study, AHP analysis was conducted through a survey that was organized by 9 job categories. The results show that sustainable operation risks have the highest priority level among all criteria with management interest having the highest priority level within sustainable operation risks related attributes. The most important risk attributes among stakeholder risks appeared to be asset security and cargo and conveyance security, with education and training being the most important among regulatory risks. Effective management and response to the risks from export controls on strategic trade require an understanding of supply chain security and compliance programs, effective training programs, investments for development of security systems that meet international standards. In addition, the government needs to focus on developing professionals and providing support for companies with compliance programs, working closely with businesses.
