지식변환과정을 활용한 전략적 의사결정지원 방법론에 관한 연구 (The Strategic Decision Supports using Knowledge Transformation Process)

  • 기업의 전략적 의사결정자는 불확실성과 복잡성에 직면해왔다. 그리고 그들은 이러한 환경 하에서 의사결정을 내려야 함에도 불구하고 그들의 의사결정에 필요한 충분한 시간, 인력, 예산, 그리고 지식이 충분히 주어지지 않는다. 그래서 그들은 그 분야에 대한 암묵적 지식을 지닌 전문가들의 지원을 받는 수 밖에 없다. 그러나 의사결정자들이 어떤 문제에 직면할 때 마다 의사결정에 필요한 새로운 지식을 창조하고 변형하고 결합하고 응용하는 다른 절차나 방법을 발견하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 본 논문은 노나카에 의해 제안된 지식변환과정을 이용함으로써 전략적 의사결정을 지원할 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 본 연구는 컨설팅 산업분야에서 전략적 의사결정의 응용사례를 예시한다. 이 논문은 제안된 방법에 기초한 의사결정지원기법으로서 인지지도를 사용한다.

Influence Diagram Approach for Strategic Decision Structuring Process

  • The influence diagram is a new conceptual tool that can be used for structuring a strategic decision problem in decision analysis. It has a graphical representation of probabilistic dependence among variables in the decision problem. In this formal procedures for constructuring the influence diagram and for translating it into the corresponding decision tree are studied. An example that shows the power of the infuence diagram is shown.

IT프로젝트 규모와 유형에 따른 IT투자 의사결정기준의 차이 (The Impact of IT Project Size and Types on IT Investment Decision Criteria)

  • This study investigates the decision criteria used in the context of IT investment decision making and empirically analyzes the impact of IT project size and types on the importance of decision criteria. 5 criteria which have been extracted from the previous studies and industry practices are budget, financial benefits. strategic value. risk, and the degree of proposer's eagerness. Data of 120 IT project proposals have been collected from 5 companies including bank, insurance. and stock trading company. As results of ANOVA test. 7 out of 10 hypothesis have been accepted statistically. That is. the bigger the project size. the higher the evaluation weight of project budget and risk criteria and the lower the weight of proposer's eagerness. And in case of the infrastructure investment type. the emphasis is placed more on strategic value and risk criteria and less on financial benefit and proposer's eagerness. These findings provide insights for both IT practitioners and researchers.

  • 최근 다양한 유형의 사이버공격이 발생하였고 공격의 전략적 목적 및 전술적 수단도 진화하고 있다. 특히 한수원 사이버공격은 해킹과 심리전을 결합시킨 핵티비즘형으로 공격자는 국민을 사이버전에 참여시키려 하였고 기밀정보 공개 및 원전중단 협박으로 정부의 의사결정을 지속적으로 강요하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사이버공격시 효과적 전략결정을 도출하기 위하여 개방형 정책결정모델에 공격지성을 포함시키고 게임이론을 활용하여 연구한다.

  • Heritage buildings (HBs) as structures with historical and architectural relevance that form an integral part of contemporary society. HBs deserve to be protected for as long as possible to retain their significance. Therefore, prioritizing HB maintenance management (HBMM) is pertinent. However, the decision-making process of HBMM can be relatively daunting. The decision-making challenge may be attributed to the multiple 'stakeholders' expectation and requirement which needs to be met. To this end, professionals in the built environment have identified the need to apply the strategic concept of facilities management (FM) in decision making. However, studies exploring the application of FM in decision-making seem lacking. To bridge this gap, this study focuses on developing a framework for strategic decision-making HBMM, which helps achieve HBMM sustainability. At the study's inception, relevant works of literature in the domains of HBMM and FM were conducted. This review helped identify contemporary maintenance practices and their applicability to HBMM. Afterward, a conceptual framework to aid decision-making in HBMM was developed. This framework integrated the concept of FM scope (people, place, process, and technology) while ensuring that decisions and plans were made at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. The conceptual framework presents a holistic guide for professionals in HBMM to ensure that decision processes and outcomes are practical and efficient. It also contributes to the existing body of knowledge on the integration of FM in HBMM. Furthermore, it will help achieve HB sustainability through an effective decision-making process.

Factors Affecting Online Purchase Decision, Customer Satisfaction, and Brand Loyalty: An Empirical Study from Indonesia's Biggest E-Commerce

  • Purpose: The development of online shopping trends in Indonesia is increasing, and Tokopedia is becoming one of the most popular e-commerce websites. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence whether mobile shopping, customer review, perceived credibility, and Korean celebrity endorsement affect online purchase decision, whether online purchase decision affects customer satisfaction, and whether customer satisfaction affects brand loyalty of customers in Tokopedia e-commerce. Research Design, data and methodology: Quantitative survey with data was collected using an online questionnaire with sample characteristics were Tokopedia customers who lived in Jakarta by 385 samples using the purposive sampling method, and data analysis was conducted using the Smartpls application program version 3.0. Results: Mobile shopping, customer review, and perceived credibility had positive effects on online purchase decision at Tokopedia in Jakarta. However, Korean celebrity endorsement did not have a positive effect on online purchase decision at Tokopedia in Jakarta. Furthermore, online purchase decision had a positive effect on customer satisfaction at Tokopedia in Jakarta, and customer satisfaction had a positive effect on brand loyalty at Tokopedia in Jakarta. Conclusions: This study proposes significant implications for maintaining customer relationships to achieve purchasing decision, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty in the e-commerce industry.

The Effect of Performance Feedback on Firms' Decision to Form an International Strategic Alliance and Performance in the Korean Manufacturing Industry

  • Purpose - International strategic alliance has been regarded as a strategic decision made by firms' managerial problems and ensure performance growth. From the perspective of the proactive behavior for changing strategies in a global market, this study aims to identify whether performance feedback influences firms' decisions to pursue strategic alliances. This study examines the effects of performance feedback on performance when firms use strategic alliances. Design/methodology - To analyze the impact of performance feedback on forming an international strategic alliance, this study adopt the concept of performance feedback to develop a research model and our hypotheses. Thus, this study used a two-stage least squares unbalanced panel data analysis with random effects. This study is based on 24,543 observations from Korean manufacturing firms from 2007 to 2016. Findings - The results show that firms pursue the formation of strategic alliances more actively, if their past financial and R&D performance are lower than their aspiration level, based on the result of performance feedback. An in split sample analysis for examining the effect of a firm's technology sophistication based on the OECD's classification, negative innovation performance discrepancy has positive effects on the probability of international alliance in high-tech and medium-high-tech industries. Financial performance also improves when a firm decides to form a strategic alliance based on the results of performance feedback. Originality/value - This research extends recent efforts to better understand the effect of performance feedback on firms' performance when they use strategic alliances. These findings suggest that the CEOs and managers of firms should consider the performance feedback perspective when deciding to pursue a strategic alliance to improve performance. In other words, the decision-makers in a firm must analyze and consider various complex variables inside and outside the firm and expand such subjects of examination to more complex and dynamic factors.

실물 옵션과 전략적 의사 결정 (Real Options and Strategic Decision Analysis)

  • This paper suggests a valuation framework of investment project using the concept of real options. We show the valuation process of real assets using the risk-neutral pricing. Especially, we focus on the investment lag. Real assets have investment lag in general. The decision time and the payment time are not identical. So the investment lag should be considered when valuing real assets for reality. We provide the valuation process for real assets, including R&D project. The results of this paper can be used for the real assets valuation and strategic decision analysis.

  • AHP is a well-known multiattribute decision technique that has been applied to private and public areas. It is well suited to group decision making and offers many benefits as a synthesizing mechanism in group decisions. This paper explains why the AHP is well-suited to group decision making by means of the case study. Through this case study, this paper tried setting priorities for the strategic industry with the focus on the small and medium industry in Pusan.

한국 무역기업집단의 전략적 의사결정과 기업성과 (The Strategic Decision-making and Its Impact on Corporate Performance in Korean Trading Conglomerates)

  • 기업경영에 있어 전략적 의사결정과 기업성과는 독립적이지 않고 상호 밀접한 관계가 있다. 본 연구는 한국 5대 무역기업집단 (Big Five Trading Conglomerates)의 전략적 의사결정과 기업성과간의 상관관계를 실증적으로 고찰 하였다. 비록 외환위기 이후 한국기업체들의 전반적 경영변화에 대한 많은 연구가 있었지만 전략적 의사결정을 주제로 한 주목할 만한 연구는 없었다. 연구결과 첫째, 한국 5대 무역기업집단의 의사결정 과정에는, 예전과 비교 해 봤을 때, 주목할 만한 변화가 없었다. 둘째, 의사결정과정에서 최고경영진의 과도한 개업은 기업성과를 방해 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 위를 바탕으로 볼 때 한국 무역기업집단 내에서 의사결정권한이 지금도 일부 최고경영진에 집중되어 있음을 시사하며, 이는 조직 전반에 걸쳐 내재된 오랜 유교적 전통과 문화 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 셋째, 그러나 의사결정과정에 있어 이사회의 권한이 점점 더 중요해짐을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 의사결정권자들은 자신들의 정치적 위치나 권력을 개인적 목적을 위해 오용 및 남용하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
