This paper proposes a new position detection method for train speed control using the PDOA(Phase Difference of Arrival). This method aims to apply to AGT(Automated Guide way Transit) systems, operated with driverless. So it is absolutely required to range, calculate and decide a train position precisely. This system consists of VRS (Vehicle Radio Set) and WRS(Wayside Radio Set). The VRS transmits a wireless signal to the WRS, the controller calculate a straight line with the PDOA. Next step calculate an exact position using track DB. This paper includes the concept, configuration, analysis and results of this method.

Based on an investigation of Miao ethnic group costumes, this research focuses on redesigning and reinterpreting of the Miao costume. The results are summarized as follows. According to the constitution of the clothes, the decorative parts and the way people wear them, women's clothing can be divided into five categories: Sangseohyeong, Geomjungnamhyeong A, Geomjungnamhyeong B, Cheongeomjeonhyeong, Haenamhyeong. Miao consists of straight lines with creases for both skirts and trousers. With the excess part of the belt or apron, X-shape and H-shape are formed. There are three basic decorative patterns: geometric patterns, animal patterns and plant patterns. In addition, there are three color values: warm, cool and dark. Silver Jewelry plays such an important role in the Miao Costume that the process of the production is also very special for the Chinese national dress. According to the features of the five types of Miao, then redesign and re-interpreted of them.

381 students including elementary school boys 75, girls 76 & middle school boys 115, girls 115 were examined to study the factors of dental esthetic self-evaluation: as measured by questionnaire & dental examination. The following results were obtained: 1. In the case of the girls, the more severely rotated or displaced the upper anterior teeth were, the uglier they felt themselves. 2. The students showed the tendency to answer that they were satisfied or had no feeling one way or the other even though their teeth were less straight than others. 3. Most of the students could not relate their teeth to the over-all facial appearance. 4. In the case of the elementary-school-boys, they felt themselves ugly when the overjet & overbite were excessive: in the case of the middle-school-girls, they felt themselves ugly when the rotation & displacement of the upper & lower anterior teeth were severe. 5. Angle's classification showed no statistical significancy.

For rapid and abrupt control of a missile in supersonic flight, side jet on a missile body is found to be a useful devise as evidenced by recent missile development at several nations. The magnitude of the side jet and the duration of it decide the level of control of such a missile system. In this paper, the aerodynamic characteristics of the side jet devise itself are examined in terms of key parameters such as the side jet nozzle contour, the chamber pressure and temperature. Specifically attention is focused on the effect of the chamber shape between the straight nozzle and the bended nozzle by 90 degrees. The flow properties as well as the thrust level are compared between the two shapes. Particular attention is paid at the way the nozzle is bended at the joint. Effects of the length and the divergence angle of the nozzle on the thrust magnitude are also quantified among the three different side jet nozzles.

A side-extrusion model, meant for deeper understanding of the material flow in the CONFORM (continuous extrusion forming) of trub shaped aluminum profiles is presented. In order to get the desirded straight shape of the extrudate,every part of its cross-section must exit the die with the same velocity. Problem is assumed by plane strain UBET-model to analyze it in a simplified way. This has been done by studying the side-extrusion through a two -hole die face. The flow is balanced by determining the optimum lengths of the bearing lands, i.e., those lengths which result in equal exit velocities of the extrudates. Furthermore, the material flow, as influenced by the punch velocity, has been investigated.

This study is a basic research to develop kit and program for fashion psychotherapy, a new genre of therapy. Symptom checklist, self-esteem evaluation, interpersonal relationship problem evaluation and fashion preference evaluation were conducted on 159 college students in Seoul. The results were analyzed with t-test and one-way ANOVA. The result showed that first, warm color preference was significantly high in interpersonal problem among psychological problems. Second, smooth material preference was significantly high in paranoia among psychological problems. Third, differences in design preferences by psychological problems were not significant. Fourth, differences in design preferences between abnormal range and normal range of psychological problems were significant in line shape, with depression abnormal group showing significantly high straight line preference. Additionally, complex shape preference was significant in complexity in somatization and phobia abnormal groups. This study can be utilized in kit development for a new field, fashion psychotherapy. This study is significant as practical basic data in constructing fashion psychotherapy program.

The purpose of this study was to find out the correlation between the spirit of the times and the characteristics of each eras fashionable silhouette and clothing in Gothic and Modern Period. Theoretical studies about the spirit of times, and the characteristics of clothing about each times were preceded. The results were as follows: The similarities of spirit of times were 1) emphasis on reason and rationality 2) centralization by christianity in Gothic Period, and modernism theory in Modern Period 3) times of the nobility and the churchman in Gothic, and elite class in Modern era. The similarities of characteristics of clothing were 1) preference of slim body form as the ideal body figure, 2) emphasis on convenience and function for freedom in action, 3) discontinuation of traditional way of clothing attitude, 4) emphasis on straight and simple on the silhouette and design, 5) tendency of eliminating ornaments on clothing.
