  • It's needed for the archivists to design a flexible and stable ERMS(Electronic Records Management System) which can ingest and store records through a consistent way and let users search and use records easily what they want. The basis of the design for ERMS are the conceptual composition and the logical and physical structure of the records when they are stored and managed in the ERMS. This paper explains the process of defining components and designing structure of electronic records using 3-layered approaches which consist of conceptual, logical and physical layer and shows advantages of this approaches. After benchmarking the information models of OAIS which is a reference model for the long-term preservation of digital information objects, this paper applies the model of AIP to a record as a 'Record AIP' and discusses the composition and structure of it. It's a critical task to identify mandatory or optional metadata groups which consists of the 'Record AIP's in the conceptual layer. This paper emphases that the metadata group related to services for the record information to users is required as a result of benchmarking OAIS information models. Various issues about the structure of 'Record AIP's are discussed according to the kind of preservation strategy such as migration or emulation and whether the encapsulation of records is required or not in the logical layer.

  • The data response speed is a critical issue of cloud services because it directly related to the user experience. As such, the in-memory database is widely adopted in many cloud-based applications for achieving fast data response. However, the current implementation of the in-memory database is mostly based on the linked list-based hash table which cannot guarantee the constant data response time. Thus, cuckoo hashing was introduced as an alternative solution, however, there is a disadvantage that only half of the allocated memory can be used for storing data. Subsequently, bucketized cuckoo hashing (BCH) improved the performance of cuckoo hashing in terms of memory efficiency but still cannot overcome the limitation that the insert overhead. In this paper, we propose a data management solution called Wall Cuckoo which aims to improve not only the insert performance but also lookup performance of BCH. The key idea of Wall Cuckoo is that separates the data among a bucket according to the different hash function be used. By doing so, the searching range among the bucket is narrowed down, thereby the amount of slot accesses required for the data lookup can be reduced. At the same time, the insert performance will be improved because the insert is following up the operation of the lookup. According to analysis, the expected value of slot access required for our Wall Cuckoo is less than that of BCH. We conducted experiments to show that Wall Cuckoo outperforms the BCH and Sorting Cuckoo in terms of the amount of slot access in lookup and insert operations and in different load factor (i.e., 10%-95%).

  • This study aims to investigate the transition of the game rating system in Korea and to search for problems and improvement measures in the era of IARC game grade review. IARC(International Age Rating Coalition) is an International Classification Alliance, with 37 member organizations from 6 countries. In addition, IARC grants participating store-fronts autonomy to review game ratings. The method of deliberating games in Korea is proceeding with direct review by rating system and deliberation by IARC's own classification system. The problem of the rating system of the game is that the civilian becomes the subject, it relies on the questionnaire, and its side effects are caused by its own classification system. IARC guidelines can be developed to improve the game rating system, education on penalties and ratings for game developers, and management of participating front-stores. In conclusion, it may be dangerous to delegate rating authority to open market, and it is necessary to construct a discussion forum for ratings, including government and industry, game developers, users, and parents of under-age gamers. It is necessary to create a rating system for the game environment in Korea.

  • The quality of medical care can be defined as four types such as effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, and scientific-technical quality. For the management of scientific-technical aspects, medical institutions annually disseminate the latest knowledge in the form of conservative education. However, there is an obvious limit to the fact that the latest knowledge is distributed quickly enough to the clinical site with only one-time conservative education. If intelligent information processing technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence are applied to the medical field, they can overcome the limitations of having to conduct research with only a small amount of information. In this paper, we construct databases on which the existing medicine prescription adaptations can be extended. To do this, we collect, store, manage, and analyze information related to oriental medicine at domestic and abroad Journals. We design a processing and analysis technique for oriental medicine evidence research data for the construction of a database of oriental medicine prescription extended adaption. Results can be used as a basic content of evidence-based medicine prescription information in the oriental medicine-related decision support services.

  • With the flood of digital data owing to the Internet of Things and big data, cloud service providers that process and store vast amount of data from multiple users can apply duplicate data elimination technique for efficient data management. The user experience can be improved as the notion of edge computing paradigm is introduced as an extension of the cloud computing to improve problems such as network congestion to a central cloud server and reduced computational efficiency. However, the addition of a new edge device that is not entirely reliable in the edge computing may cause increase in the computational complexity for additional cryptographic operations to preserve data privacy in duplicate identification and elimination process. In this paper, we propose an efficiency-improved duplicate data elimination protocol while preserving data privacy with an optimized user-edge-cloud communication framework by utilizing a trusted execution environment. Direct sharing of secret information between the user and the central cloud server can minimize the computational complexity in edge devices and enables the use of efficient encryption algorithms at the side of cloud service providers. Users also improve the user experience by offloading data to edge devices, enabling duplicate elimination and independent activity. Through experiments, efficiency of the proposed scheme has been analyzed such as up to 78x improvements in computation during data outsourcing process compared to the previous study which does not exploit trusted execution environment in edge computing architecture.

  • Graph databases, which store different types of data and their relationships modeled as a graph, can be effective in managing and analyzing real estate spatial data linked by complex relationships. However, they are not widely used due to the limited spatial functionalities of graph databases. In this study, we propose a uniform grid-based real estate spatial data management approach using a graph database to respond to various real estate-related spatial questions. By analyzing the real estate community to identify relevant data and utilizing national point numbers as unit grids, we construct a graph schema that linking diverse real estate data, and create a test database. After building a test database, we tested basic topological relationships and spatial functions using the Jackpine benchmark, and further conducted query tests based on various scenarios to verify the appropriateness of the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method successfully executed 25 out of 29 spatial topological relationships and spatial functions, and achieved about 97% accuracy for the 25 functions and 15 scenarios. The significance of this study lies in proposing an efficient data integration method that can respond to real estate-related spatial questions, considering the limited spatial operation capabilities of graph databases. However, there are limitations such as the creation of incorrect spatial topological relationships due to the use of grid-based indexes and inefficiency of queries due to list comparisons, which need to be improved in follow-up studies.

  • As the cloud computing market grows, a variety of cloud services are now reliably delivered. Administrative agencies and public institutions of South Korea are transferring all their information systems to cloud systems. It is essential to develop security solutions in advance in order to safely operate cloud services, as protecting cloud services from misuse and malicious access by insiders and outsiders over the Internet is challenging. In this paper, we propose a zero trust model for cloud storage services that store sensitive data. We then verify the effectiveness of the proposed model by operating a cloud storage service. Memory, web, and network forensics are also performed to track access and usage of cloud users depending on the adoption of the zero trust model. As a cloud storage service, we use Amazon S3(Simple Storage Service) and deploy zero trust techniques such as access control lists and key management systems. In order to consider the different types of access to S3, furthermore, we generate service requests inside and outside AWS(Amazon Web Services) and then analyze the results of the zero trust techniques depending on the location of the service request.

  • While the broadband network and multimedia technology are being developed, the commercial market of digital contents as well as using IPTV has been widely spreading. In this background, Time-Shift system is developed for requirement of multimedia. This system is independent of Time but is not independent of Place and Occasion. For solving these problems, in this paper, we propose the TPO(Time, Place, Occasion)-Shift system for mobile multimedia devices. The profile that can be applied to the mobile multimedia devices is much different from that of the setter-box. And general mobile multimedia devices could not have such large memories that is for multimedia data. So it is important to continuously store and manage those multimedia data in limited capacity with mobile device's profile. Therefore we compose the basket in a way using defined time unit and manage these baskets for effective buffer management. In addition. since the file name of basket is made up to include a basket's time information, we can make use of this time information as DTS(Decoding Time Stamp). When some multimedia content is converted to be available for portable multimedia devices, we are able to compose new formatted contents using such DTS information. Using basket based buffer systems, we can compose the contents by real time in mobile multimedia devices and save some memory. In order to see the system's real-time operation and performance, we implemented the proposed TPO-Shift system on the basis of mobile device, MS340. And setter-box are desisted by using directshow player under Windows Vista environment. As a result, we can find the usefulness and real-time operation of the proposed systems.

  • This study empirically analyzed the effect of complex commercial facilities on the price of nearby apartments in a Hedonic price model. The spatial range of this study was the walking area of H Department Store located in Pangyo among the second new towns suburb of Seoul, and the time range was 2020. The dependent variable was the real transaction price of the apartment, and independent variable were the characteristics of the housing, the characteristics of the complex, and the characteristics of the region. As a result of the analysis, the area of exclusive use space, the transaction floor, and the highway accessibility had a positive effect on the price of the apartment, and the elapsed year had a negative effect on the price of the apartment. However, the size of the apartment had little effect on apartment prices, and the distance from the complex commercial facilities was shown to be related to apartment prices, indicating that apartment prices declined as it moved away from the complex commercial facilities. Therefore, this is much more influential than the influence of distance from subway stations on apartment price. This confirms that the effect factors of apartment prices and the size of their influence appear differently in the new town area and the existing metropolitan area.
