유행관여에 따른 패션 전문점의 점포 속성에 관한 연구 (The Store Attributes of Fashion Specialty Store with Fashion Involvement)

  • This study explored the attributes of the fashion specialty store according to the level of fashion involvement. Data were obtained from 262 female college student. For analysis of the data, conjoint analysis, T-test, factor analysis were employed. The results of this study were as follows; 1) Fashion involvement could be used as an importants segment variable and that attitude toward store attributes differed by the level of fashion involvement. 2) The high fashion involvement group preferred a downtown area in location, high fashion in fashionability and fashion couture quality in terms of product quality. On the other hand, the low involvement group preferred a residential area in location, basic staple goods in fashionability, and easy to care clothes in terms of product quality. 3) Five store attributes were grouped into two attribute groups: merchandising function (including product quality, assortment and fashionability) and store atmospheric function (including location and atmosphere). The results showed that the high fashion involvement group placed more importance on the store atmospheric function rather than the merchadising function. For the low fashion involvement group, the importance was reversed.

이미지 일치성 관점에서 본 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도 형성의 선행 변수들 (Antecedents of Attitudes Toward Private Brands from the Perspective of Image Congruence)

  • 유통업체 브랜드의 중요성에도 불구하고 소비자들의 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도 형성에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 연구는 그다지 많이 진행되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도 형성을 이미지 일치성 관점에서 파악하고 있다. 즉, 유통업체 브랜드와 소비자 간의 이미지 일치성, 점포와 유통업체 브랜드로 사용되는 제품군 간의 이미지 일치성, 점포와 소비자 간의 이미지 일치성 등 세 가지 종류의 이미지 일치성을 중심으로 이들이 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향이 어떠하며 상호 간의 관계는 어떠한지를 알아보고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 연구 결과에 의하면 소비자 자신과 유통업체 브랜드 간의 이미지 일치성은 세 가지 이미지 일치성 중에서 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도 형성에 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 점포와 제품군 간의 이미지 일치성도 매우 중요한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 점포와 소비자 간의 이미지 일치성이 유통업체 브랜드 태도에 미치는 효과는 가설과는 반대로 나타났으며 이에 대한 해석도 제공되고 있다.

  • Existing research for store has been localized in that of Seoul area, and research for the Japanese style store built under the rule of Japanese Imperialism has not been done properly owing to national sentiment. This research established Naju that inland pillage is available along Yeongsan River after opening of Mokpo harbor. I will compare modernization developmental process of building of Korean style store with that of Japanese Style store, so obviously try to make clear the activities of modernization by linking social and economical change with Joseon merchants' life. I will try to light up the position of korean style store in Naju area in history of architecture by analyzing two styles of stores into urban architectural element, putting process of change in order and translating it according to flow of age. The development process of Korean restaurant stores and that of Japanese counterparts are rather relative. Whereas Japanese accumulated wealth through oppression and exploitation of the people of Joseon the former dynasty of present day Korea, the people of Joseon could not but be oppressed and depressed. On the other hand, while the dynamic liberation movements of Joseon merchants managed to develop based on the vitality that was growing ever more, Japanese chose to back down to some degree by exercising appeasing policy. The efforts to take initiative by shattering off the submissive attitude can be found from the ability fostering movement, Gwangju students campaign and new construction or remodeling of hanok the traditional Korean house as commercial building in the 1920s. The changing phase of the people breaking away from subjugated relation to subjective attitude can be found in the commercial districts.

서비스기업의 마케팅 활동에 대한 소비자의 지각이 점포태도와 재방문의도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence on Store Attitudes and Revisit Intentions of Consumers' Perception of Service Providers' Marketing Attitudes)

  • 본 연구는 대형마트의 마케팅활동 요인인 제품, 가격, 장소, 광고, 종업원 그리고 물리적 환경이 점포태도와 재방문의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것에 목적이 있다. 따라서 마케팅활동 요인과 점포태도를 재방문의도 측정의 하위요인으로 선정하고 실증분석을 하였다. 분석결과, 마케팅활동 요인을 구성하는 차원 중에서 종업원, 물리적 환경, 가격 그리고 장소가 점포태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대형마트에 대한 긍정적인 점포태도는 고객의 재방문의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 대형마트들이 전통적인 가격경쟁요인 위주의 전략에서 탈피하여 비가격경쟁 요인인 종업원의 서비스, 점포자체의 물리적 환경, 장소 등의 요인을 활용한 마케팅활동이 중요한 전략요인이 될 수 있다는 시사점을 제시해주는 것이다. 나아가 본 연구의 논의는 대형마트의 마케팅 활동이 점포태도와 재방문의도에 미치는 영향 연구를 시도한 기존연구의 의미있는 확장으로 판단된다.

The Effects of Photo Decoration Cues on Online Consumers' Affective Responses in Distribution Science

  • Purpose: This study to seek to answer two research questions in distribution science: what photo decoration cues in online grocery stores could be identified? Could photo decoration cues significantly effect on the affective perception and behavioral intention of consumers? Research design, data, and methodology: his study conducted a laboratory experiment with a 2×2×2 factorial design to validate the proposed research model and test our proposed hypotheses. Research design, data and methodology: Two stages experiments were adopted in this study, among 360 voluntaries who have had an experience of online grocery shopping, 331 valid data had been collected and analyzed using MANOVA and PLS-SEM algorism. Results: (1) both reflective surface and complementary goods layout lead to visual appeal and shopping enjoyment; (2) contrast color usage positively impacts on visual appeal while does not significantly affect shopping enjoyment; (3) consumers' affective responses positively impact attitudes toward product and store which in turn lead to purchase intention and store loyalty. Implications for research and practice are discussed. Conclusions: Using the media richness theory, visual rhetoric theory and visual design literature as the theoretical foundation, the study provides a solid foundation to comprehend the impact of photo design artifacts on consumers' affective responses when online consumers shopping online for fresh grocery.

패션사이클 가속화에 따른 의류소비 행태 연구 (A Study on Consumption Behaviors in Accordance with the Acceleration of Fashion Cycle)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the differences in clothing consumption behaviors among female consumer groups in their twenties and to understand the type of consumer group pursuing fast fashion. Questionnaire survey was conducted to 230 female consumers residing in Seoul and Kyung Gi area from June 18 to 29 in 2007, and 178 were used for data analysis. Data analysis were conducted with SPSS 12 program on the reliability test, factor analysis, cluster analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. Factors analyses were employed for the attitude toward fashion and shopping, and shopping motives. Four factors were formulated for the attitude toward fashion: interest in fashion, fashion-orientation, fashion leadership and fashion conformity. Six factors for the attitude toward shopping were found: information searching, shopping enjoyment, store patronage, impulse buying, brand-orientation and convenience. Buying motives for fashion goods were classified into 3 factors: for matching & occasion, to-be-in-fashion and for necessity. Four clusters were identified based on the attitude toward fashion: the fashion-interested, the fashion-indifferent, fashion leaders and the individuality-oriented. Among the groups, significant differences were found in information searching, shopping enjoyment and store patronage. Fashion leaders tended to spend more for expensive and up-to-dated fashion items, and for higher quantity than other groups. Consequently fashion leaders showed attractive customer characteristics for the fast fashion companies.

The Effect of Brand Image Inconsistency on Patronage Intent in U.S. Multi-channel Retailing

  • Website design (due to increased online retailing) has received more attention as a way to influence consumer responses (Eroglu et al., 2001, 2003; Kim et al., 2009; Kim & Lennon, 2008; Yoo et al., 2010); however, the website design of multichannel retailers has not been examined from the perspective of the consistency of online store image with the brand image. This study examines the effect of brand image consistency (especially through the website) on consumer attitude and patronage intentions. The findings of this research will add to the growing body of literature on multichannel retailing and provide practical information for online retailers in the development of a website for their online business.

고소득층 소비자의 쇼핑성향과 의류상품구매행동 특성 - 서울 강남지역 여성들을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Shopping Attitude and the Apparel Purchase Behavior of Korean High-Income Consumers)

  • The Purpose of this study were to find out general characteristics of apparel purchase behavior of high-income consumers, and to segment the high-income consumers according to their shopping attitude. One hundred and ninety-five high-income consumers living in Kang-nam area of Seoul were surveyed. and the following results were found : 1) high-income consumers were less conscious of 'price'. and more conscious of'prestige'and'design'compared to the ordinary consumers. (2) and prefer information they gain during store shopping to mass communication information. (3) High-income consumers were more agreed on 'price-conscious shopping attitude' than 'conspicuous' & 'hedonic shopping attitude'. (4) According to shopping attitude, high-income consumers were divided into two different segments. 'conspicuous&hedonic group' and 'reasonable shopping group', and their age, income, and purchase behavior factors were significantly different from each other.

선행연구에 나타난 의복소비자 행동변인 및 시장 변인연구 (A Study on the Variables of Clothing Consumer Behavior and Market: Literature Review)

  • The author reviewed seventy papers on social psychology of clothing and fashion marketing fields, which were published in the Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles between 1983 and 1996. The market variables and consumer behavior variables were focused on. This review showed that the market variables had been divided into three groups of variables: 1) product variables (product image and product classification): 2) brand variables (brand image and brand positioning): and 3) store variables (store image, store type, and distribution system) Consumer behavior variables have been studied on the basis of EBM Consumer Behavior Model: 1) purchasing motivation as need recognition: 2) information using as search information: 3) evaluation criteria and choice criteria as alternative evaluatioin : 4) clothing purchase, brand choice and store choice as purchase: 5) degree of wear, satisfaction and dissatisfaction as outcome: and 6) clothing discard. Variables that influence on consumer behavior, including situation variables, clothing attitude variables, personal . social variables were added to develop a variable model of clothing consumer behavior using the EBM Consumer Behavior Model.

백화점 독점 수입브랜드 자산에 대한 소비자와 유통업자 간 평가 차이와 성과와의 관계 (The Relationship between Difference of Evaluation of the Brand Equity from Consumers and Retailers toward Exclusive Imported Brands at Department Stores and the Performance)

  • This study aimed to clarify the difference between consumers and hands-on staff in evaluation of the attributes importance of asset evaluation attributes and the relationship between difference from consumers and hands-on staff in evaluation of the attributes and the performance. Subjects for the quantitative research, quota sampling was adopted in the areas where the subject brands were in place, and 452 questionnaires (141 of hands-on staff, 311 of consumers) were analyzed. The results were as follows; 1. The factors that hands-on staff and consumers regarded as most important as to asset evaluation attributes of department store-exclusive importation brands included preference and product quality in the order, and then image, recognition, reliability, and country of origin in the case of hands-on staff, and reliability, image, recognition, and country of origin in the case of consumers in the order. 2. As a result of examining the effect of the difference between hands-on staff and consumers regarding exclusive importation brands(GAP, ZARA) of certain department stores on business achievement and consumer attitude, it turned out that the smaller the difference between the two groups with regard to evaluation, the higher the business achievement and consumer attitude.
