Korean alveolar fricatives are late-developing speech sounds. Most previous research on phonemes used individual words or pseudo words to produce sounds, but word-level phonological analysis does not always reflect a child's practical articulation ability. Also, there has been limited research on articulation development looking at speech production by grammatical morphemes despite its importance in Korean language. Therefore, this research examines the articulation development and phonological patterns of the /s/ phoneme in terms of morphological types produced in children's spontaneous conversational speech. The subjects were twenty-two typically developing 3- and 4-year-old Koreans. All children showed normal levels in three screening tests: hearing, vocabulary, and articulation. Spontaneous conversational samples were recorded at the children's homes. The results are as follows. The error rates decreased with increasing age in all morphological contexts. Also, error percentages within an age group were significantly lower in lexical morphemes than in grammatical morphemes. The stopping of fricative sounds was the main error pattern in all morphological contexts and reduced as age increased. This research shows that articulation performance can differ significantly by morphological contexts. The present study provides data that can be used to identify the difficult context for articulatory evaluation and therapy of alveolar fricative sounds.
ELISA method was applied for the screening of zearalenone producing strains. The developed ELISA was as follow: $125\;{\mu}l$ of diluted solution (1 : 500) of antibody was added to each microtiter well and incubated overnight at $40^{\circ}C$. For direct competitive ELISA, samples and zearalenone-peroxidase conjugate were mixed in a 1 : 1 ratio, and a $100\;{\mu}l$ of aliquot was then added to antisera-coated wells. Plates were incubated for 30 minutes at $37^{\circ}C$, and wells washed 6 times, and $100\;{\mu}l$ of ABTS substrates was added. Plates were incubated for antother 15 minutes at $37^{\circ}C$, and $100\;{\mu}l$ of stopping reagent was added to the wells and absorbance was recorded at 410nm on ELISA Reader. Among 19 strains showed zearalenone-producing ability by ELISA, 3 strains (R-5, C-46, S-134) produced more than 50 ng/ml of zearalenone.

The research vessel NARA equipped with an azimuth thruster system was built in 2015. There are few vessels with this propulsion system in Korea. This vessel has two modes such as the normal for maneuvering and the power for investigation, and the other two modes as one axis and two axes on the operating. This type of vessels does not seem to have a clear grasp of the maneuvering character in comparison with the vessel with a conventional propulsion system. So the authors carried out the sea test for the turning, the zigzag and the inclination, and the results are as follows. In turning test, the case of using the two axes mode is much better than the case of using the one axis mode for the elements of turning, such as advance, transfer, tactical diameter and final diameter, but turning hard over the rudder in full speed is very vulnerable to capsize in both modes. In zigzag test, the yaw quicking responsibility index, T is very large excessively, which means a bad counter maneuvering ability, so an operator has to keep in mind that in turning operation. If necessary to avoid collision at head on situation, it may be a more effective method to use the crash astern stop than the turning according to the conditions and circumstances for the shortest stopping distance is very short.

Salix gracilistyla is widely distributed along riversides in Korea and very good for biomass production by SRC because of its excellent germination ability, but it is necessary to measure drying tolerance for cultivation. The drought tolerance of S. gracilistyla was tested using cuttings, and growth and physiological analysis were performed after irrigation was stopped. The growth inhibition of S. gracilistyla was observed from the day irrigation was stopped, and the soil moisture content decreased to less than 10% on the 25th day after irrigation was stopped. Over 50% of the seedlings turned brown 25 days after watering was stopped. The chlorophyll content of S. gracilistyla decreased dramatically after 25 days of stopping of irrigation. RWC values were unchanged until day 12 after irrigation was stopped but decreased rapidly until day 21, but there was a slightly decreasing trend after that. RWL levels increased slightly during irrigation stops. The proline content of plants subjected to drought stress was 0.91-2.63 mg/0.05 g, 2.75 times higher than that of the control treatment. The sugar content of the drought stress treatment group was 29.77 to 350.66 mg/0.05 g, which increased 12.24 times that of the control treatment. As a result of this study, S. gracilistyla was found to have a drought tolerance almost comparable to that of evergreen broad-leaved trees growing on the land. This study is expected to contribute to the resource utilization S. gracilistyla, a native willow tree of Korea, and the mass production of biomass by SRC.
This study was executed to develop the model of the format of the day care center which supplies the total service on the health care in the day time and social program related with the work and to evaluate the processing courses which was adjusted for 3 years from March 1999 to December 2001 in order to improve the quality of life of the family who experience dementia, dementia prevention, and the old and the burden of daily activities. The processing courses of this business model were evaluated to the confirmation on the health condition, application of the nursing processes, and the precise medical examination, and 20 sorts of social programs. The methods used in this model were the simplified MMSE-K, Ability for ,Daily Life(ADL), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living(IADL), and nursing process, and so on. The execution effects of this model are as follows. 1. It can contribute to the delay in the dementia process of the old people who are related with the dementia and maintenance and improvement of the health by confirming the stopping of the process of the dementia as the objective estimation method while the dementia symptom is maintained as the current condition through the medical and social total services. 2. The reduction of the burden for the daily care of the subject people and their families for the old people who are concerned with the dementia helped to improve the quality of life of the subject people and their family by enabling them to have jobs. 3. It enabled them to positively cope with the demand for the health and nursing of the local residents related to the old people. 4. It enabled them to enhance the recognition for the socialization of the local social organization and residents for the old people. 5. It enabled them to reinforce the related system among the local social organizations, and develop and provide the various social programs which are proper for the old people.
We conducted a comparison experiment of our wide-area spraying high speed fan with a fan which was developed by Japan MARUYAMA Inc. have been much recognized for it's history and skills in a field of spraying machine. In result, MARUYAMA Inc. fan sprayed up to 120 m and, on the other hand, wide-area spraying high speed fan of our own making was able to spray up to more than 160 m. Wide-area spraying machine have been supplied to domestic demands by importing from Japan, but it is determined to be possible that home products will occupy market for it's ability, price and A/S environment in future. The main research results are below. Some plastic cups which are in the open market are used for our experiment. After distributing 90 cups in a range of 10m vertically with localizing 5 cups horizontally and 18 cups vertically, spraying machine was moved and finally we make distribution charts by estimating the sprayed amounts on each cup. Vertical distance was set up to 5m and we calculated average values by using sprayed amount and data of 4 observers. In result our fan showed much sprayed amounts than MARUYAMA Inc. all over the field except situations of vehicle departing and stopping.

It is necessary, due to changes in the information environment, to investigate problems in existing information retrieval systems. Ontologies and social tagging, which are a relatively new means of information organization, enable exploratory discovery of information. These two connect a thought of a user with the thoughts of numerous other people on the Internet. With these connection chains through the interactions, users are foraging information actively and exploratively. Thus, the purpose of this study is, through qualitative research methods, to identify numerous discovery facilitators provided by ontologies and social tagging, and to create an exploratory discovery model based on them. The results show that there are three uppermost categories in which 5, 4 and 4 subcategories are enumerated respectively. The first category, 'Browsing and Monitoring,' has 5 sub categories: Noticing the Needs, Being Aware, Perceiving, Stopping, and Examining a Resource. The second category, Actively Participating, has 4 categories: Constructing Meaning, Social Bookmarking and Tagging, Sharing on Social Networking, Specifying the Original Needs. The third category, Actively Extends Thinking, also has 4 categories: Social Learning, Emerging Fortuitous Discovery, Creative Thinking, Enhancing Problem Solving Abilities. This model could contribute to the design of information systems, which enhance the ability of exploratory discovery.

The International Maritime Organization adopted the interim standards for ship maneuverability in November 1993 for preventing collision of ships at sea and for protecting the marine environment, and based on the accumulated data, in December 2002, the established standards for ship maneuverability were adopted. However, the standards adopted are those at full load, even keel, and at least 90 % of the ship speed at 85 % of the ship's maximum power. Moreover, these standards have limitations in providing information on maneuverability under actual navigational conditions. Therefore, in this study, frequency analysis AHP analysis techniques were studied by consulting navigational officers, captains, and experts, who have significant knowledge on ship maneuverability, utilization of the current standards, and the information necessary for the operation of the actual ship. The results of this study confirmed that the necessary information on maneuverability for the navigational officer operating the vessel is information about the turning circle at a small angle of 5°-10° and z-test information at maneuvering speed, not sea speed. Additionally, in relation to speed control, additional information on deceleration inertia and acceleration inertia is needed than the information on the stopping ability at sea speed and full loaded condition. The derived results are considered to be useful as basic data for preparing guidelines for ship maneuverability necessary for navigational of icers who operate ships.

This study was based on the black box images of traffic accidents on highways, cluster analysis and prediction model comparisons were carried out. As analysis data, vehicle driving behavior and road surface conditions that can grasp road and traffic conditions just before the accident were used as explanatory variables. Considering that traffic accident data is affected by many factors, cluster analysis reflecting data heterogeneity is used. Each cluster classified by cluster analysis was divided based on the ratio of the severity level of the accident, and then an accident prediction evaluation was performed. As a result of applying the Logit model, the accident prediction model showed excellent predictive ability when classifying groups by cluster analysis and predicting them rather than analyzing the entire data. It is judged that it is more effective to predict accidents by reflecting the characteristics of accidents by group and the severity of accidents. In addition, it was found that a collision accident during stopping such as a secondary accident and a side collision accident during lane change act as important driving behavior variables.

Objectives: This study was performed to investigate the management status of chronic disease at community health centers. Methods: The study subjects were 450 employed persons at community health centers in Jeonlanamdo. General characteristics, status of chronic disease management and health education were collected for statistical analysis. The differences on management status among working areas were assessed with chi-square test and ANOVA. Results: The mean values of work duration were 18.7 years in rural, 14.4 years in fishing village, and 17.4 years in urban-rural, respectively. The number of management registration was highest in hypertension. The ways of disease management were medication check-up, diet stopping smoking. The contents of group health education were exercise, diet and prohibition of smoking. The place of health education was town assembling hall. The fields which officials wanted to be educated were symptom, diagnosis, treatment and complication. The most important field was early detection of chronic disease patients and health education. Finally, the field requiring support was work standardization. Conclusions: Community health workers have worked positively in chronic disease management. The barriers to work were the lack of professional and preliminary data. The support system with other health organ and health education were needed for the improvement of working ability.
