중년 남성의 죽음에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Middle-Aged Men's Attitude towards Death)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 우리나라 중년 남성의 죽음에 대한 태도를 살펴보고 이에 대한 영향요인을 파악하여 올바른 자아성찰이 포함된 건강증진 프로그램 개발을 위해 시도되었다. 방법: 대구광역시에 거주하는 만 40~59세 중년 남성을 편의 표출하였다. 구조화된 설문지 문항에는 일반적 특성, 생활스트레스, 자아존중감, 생활만족도, 우울, 대처행동, 죽음에 대한 태도 등을 포함시켰다. 자료는 기술통계, 피어슨 상관계수 및 단계적 다중회귀 분석을 이용하였다. 결과: 중년 남성의 죽음에 대한 태도는 교육 정도, 종교, 자원봉사활동, 인지된 건강상태에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 죽음에 대한 태도는 생활스트레스, 우울과는 음의 상관관계를, 자아존중감, 생활만족도, 대처행동과는 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 또한 단계적 다중회귀분석을 통한 죽음에 대한 태도 영향요인은 생활만족도, 생활스트레스, 종교, 대처행동이 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 이들 변수의 죽음에 대한 태도 설명력은 25.7%였다. 결론: 중년 남성이 죽음을 올바로 이해하고 긍정적이면서 수용적인 태도를 지니기 위해서는 대상자가 가지고 있는 교육수준이나 경제수준과 같이 당장 변경이 어려운 요인보다는 보다 접근이 용이한 심리적인 요인에 초점을 두고 개입이 시행되어야 할 것이다. 또한 이런 중재는 일반 중년 남성뿐만 아니라 말기 암이나 호스피스 치료를 받고 있는 중년 남성, 더 나아가 중년 여성이나 다른 연령층에게 본 연구결과가 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 산림의 수원함양기능 지표인 표층토양에서의 조공극율(粗孔隙率)(pF2.7) 에 영향하는 입지환경인자를 밝히기 위해 1994년 3월부터 10월까지 전국의 활엽수림 표본조사구를 대상으로 업지, 토양, 임분환경인자 등 총 15인자에 대하여 spss/pc+를 이용하여 상관 분석하였다. 표층토양에서의 조공극률에 영향을 미치는 수고, 하층식생 피복도, 토양의 유기물함량비 3개 인자가 유의한 정(正)의 상관관계를, 표층토양의 견밀도가 1% 수준에서 유의한 부(負)의 상관관계를 나타내었다. Stepwise를 이용한 다중회귀분석결과 표층토양에서의 조공극률에 영향하는 인자는 표층토양의 견밀도, 토양의 유기물함량비 2개 인자이었다. 활엽수림의 수원함양기능 증진을 위한 시업은 표층토양의 조공극 발달이 촉진되도록 하층식생 피복도가 30%에서 80%를 유지하도록 실시해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

초임부의 스트레스감소에 미치는 지지강화교육의 효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study of the effects of Husband s supportive behavior reinforcement education on stress relief of primigravidas)

  • This study examined the effects of husband's supportive behavior reinforcement education on stress relief of primigravidas. The purpose was to reinforce husbands' supportive behavior and relieve primigravidas' stress. The purposes of this study were to determine lactors influencing Primigravidas' stress and the effect of husbands' supportive behavior reinforcement education on stress relief of primigravidas. The subjects, consisting of 140 primigravidas who registered or visited in three obstetrics and gynecology clinics in J city, were divided into at random experimental and control groups. Data were collectpe from April To July, 1984 through interviews during hospital visits, and by questionaires. The husbands' supportive behavior reinforcement education and the measurement tools were developed by the investigator from the literature and during pilot study: the instruments to measure primigravidas' stress and husbands' supportive behavior were tested for reliability and validity. Personality characteristisc were measured by Chestnuts' Stress Management instrument. T-test, ANOVA, ω², and Pearson Correlation were used in analysing the data to confirm the intensity of the influence and the relation between general characteristics and primigravidas' stress. Pearson correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression were used to confirm the predictors of primigravidas' stress. Independent variables were compared by means of t-test and χ³-test to confirm significant discrepancy of experimental and control groups. T-test, paired t-test, pearson correlation were used in analyzing the data to confirm the effect of husband's supportive behavior reinforcement education on stress relief of primigravidas. The results of the study are summarized. Results from analyzing the effect of husbands' supportive behavior reinforcement education: There was no significant difference between the general characteristics of the experimental and control groups. And husbands' supportive behavior, personality, marital Satisfaction, natural abortion variables influenced at primigravidas' stress. A hypothetical test by comparative analysis of the measurement of primigravidas' stress and husbands' support behavior between the experimental and the control group before and after the experiment to confirm the effect of husbands' supportive behavior reinforcement education resulted in the following: The first hypothesis that husbands' supportive behavior reinforcement education will increase husbands' support behavior to relieve primigravidas' stress was supported. The second hypothesis that husbands' supportive behavior reinforcement education will relieve primigravidas' stress was supported. As a result, it u·as shown that husbands' supportive behavior reinforcement education relieved primigravidas' stress, and the hypotheses were supported. The third hypothesis that the higher the degree of husbands' supportive behavior, the lower the primigravidas' stress was supported. It was concluded that husbands' supportive behavior reinforcemen education increase husbands' supportive behavior and relieves Primigravidas' stress.

치과위생사의 감성리더십, 몰입도, 환자지향성과 직무성과의 관련성 (Relationships among Emotional Leadership, Commitment, Patient Orientation, and Job Performance in Dental Hygienists)

  • 본 연구는 치과의료인력을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 서울, 인천 경기도, 대전 충정도, 대구 울산 경상도, 광주 전라도 소재의 치과 병 의원에 재직중인 328명의 치과위생사를 대상으로 감성리더십, 몰입도, 환자지향성 수준과 상호 관련성을 파악하고, 이들이 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 치과위생사의 감성리더십은 3.48점이었다. 하위영역에서 자기인식 능력이 3.82점으로 가장 높았고, 사회인식 능력이 3.66점이었으며, 자기관리 능력이 3.38점, 관계관리 능력이 3.33점이었다. 몰입도는 3.30점으로 조직몰입(3.34점)이 변화몰입(3.28점)보다 높았다. 환자지향성은 3.95점이었고, 직무성과는 3.39점이었다. 감성리더십과 몰입도, 환자지향성 및 직무성과는 물론 하위영역 간에도 상호 간 유의한 양(+)의 상관관계를 나타냈다(p<0.001). 직무성과와 가장 관련성이 높은 요인은 환자지향성(${\beta}=0.306$)이었고, 관계관리 능력(${\beta}=0.209$), 연령(${\beta}=0.162$), 자기인식 능력(${\beta}=0.139$), 사회인식 능력(${\beta}=0.123$), 병원형태(${\beta}=0.101$) 등이 주요한 관련요인으로 분석되었다. 이를 바탕으로 치과위생사의 감성리더십, 몰입도, 환자지향성과 직무성과는 상호 관련성이 깊은 것으로 나타났다. 치과위생사의 전문적인 의료서비스 수행능력을 향상 시키고 유지시키는 다양한 감성적 역량에 대한 폭넓은 인식과 개발 방안에 대한 검토가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

노인의 건강지각에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Factors Influencing Health Perception in the Elderly)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing health perception in the elderly, to provide the basic data for health behavior program and nursing intervention. The subjects of this study were 240 elderly person over the age 60, living in Seoul and Kangnung. They were conveniently sampled for this study and the data was collected from June 1999 to September 1999. The instruments for this study were the Health Perception Questionaire developed by Ware(1979), the OARS Functional Assessment Questionaire (Duke University 1978), and Multidimensional Health Locus of Control by Wallston, Wallston, and De Vills(1978). The data were analyzed by using SPSS Win computer Program. The results are as follows; 1. The total mean score of the health perception was 52.02(S.D=${\pm}$7.07) in a range of 33 to 69, and the mean score of the functional status was 27.02 (SD=${\pm}$2.75) in a range of zero to 28 and the mean score of the health locus of control was 65.66(S.D=${\pm}$8.68) in a range of 43 to 90. And The mean scores on the HLOC subscales were HLOC-I: 23.73${\pm}$4.56 (range: 6-30), HLOC-P: 23.07${\pm}$4.74 (range: 6-30), HLOC-C: 18.55${\pm}$4.03 (range: 11-30). 2. There was a significant positive correlation between health perception and functional status(r=.216, p=.001), and health perception and the health locus of control(HLOC) were not correlated at the level of statistical significance. However, the HLOC-I and health perception were correlated positively(r=.328, p=.000), and the HLOC-P were correlated negatively (r=-.129, p=.046). 3. There was a significant difference statistically in the degree of health perception according to the age(F=3.351, p=.002), spouse(t=2.232, p=.021), education level(F=7.373, p=.001), disease(t=3.639, p=.000), group activity (t=2.458, p=.015). drink(t=2.327, p=.021). 4. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor of health perception was internal health locus of control. A combination of HOLC-I, functional status, HLOC-P, group activity explained 17.9% of the variance for health perception in the elderly. In conclusion, the results of this study show that internal health locus of control factor is very important in explaining the health perception for the elderly. Therefore, it will be considered internal health locus of control factor in nursing intervention and program in order to enforce the health behavior for elderly people .

영양교육에 의한 노인 영양증진전략연구 : 효과분석 (Strategies of Improve Elderly Nutrition through Nutrition Education : Evaluation of the Effectivenss of the Program)

  • The increased number of elderly in Korea presents great challenges for community nutrition programs. Strategies to enhance elderly nutrition are needed, as well as dietary advice that are reality-based and tailored to the need of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the overall effectiveness of an elderly nutrition improvement program(ENIP), by assessing changes in nutrition knowledge, attitudes, and behavior after program completion. ENIP was conducted in Suwon for 4 months in 1998 at 5 centers for the elderly. The program provided individual nutrition counseling and brief biweekly group education sessions. To stimulate participation and motivation, the elderly in two centers were served free milk packs(200ml) three time a week during the program(milk+education group), and the elderly in 3 other centers were served yoghurt on the program day(education group). Altogether, 102 subjects finished the program(milk+education group 67 ; education group 35). Data about nutrition knowledge, dietary attitudes, diet records(24 hour recall) and dietary habit was collected before(baseline) and after the program(follow-up). The Drop-out rate for the milk+education group(2.9%) was significantly lower than that for the education group(30.0%)(p<.001). The Nutrition Knowledge fo females milk+education group increased significantly after the program, but no significant differences were observed in other groups. Over 60% of all the elderly showed positive responses to the healthy eating attitudes. Energy, protein, vitamin A, riboflavin, Calcium and Potassium intakes improved in the male milk+education group. The Vitamin C intake improved in the male education group. Energy and vitamin A intakes improved in the female milk+education group and energy, vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, Ca nad P in the female education group. A stepwise multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the effects of food intake changes on overall nutrient quality. For all elderly, the fish intake explained 12.6% of the variance, followed by candy intake and vegetable intake(model $R^2$=19.6%). Dietary habits such as meal time regularity and salty food reduction were markedly improved in both groups. Sixty-one percent of the milk+education subjects stated their participation was voluntary and active, while 51% of education subjects did. Sixty four percent of the subjects stated their interest on diet increased remarkably through program participation. Considering the results, it is conjectured that ENIP had a great impact on nutrient intake, dietary attitudes and habits. Milk supplement showed no direct effects on elderly nutrition improvement, but it encouraged the program by reducing drop-out rates and inducing voluntary participation. Therefore milk supplement could enhance the community nutrition education program. Moreover it is strongly suggested that the ENIP be expanded to other communities.

보건간호사의 사기진작(士氣振作)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Nurses' Morale)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine public health nurses for their morale, test the effect of each factor on the morale, determine the variables affecting the morale, and thereby, provide for some basic data useful to the development of personnel affair administration for nurses. The survey on the nurses for public health centers was conducted for 10 days from April 23 to May 2, 2001; 96 nurses from Pusan, 101 from Kyonggi-do and 108 from Kangwon-do. The results of the study are as follows; 1. For the demographic variables, those aged between 31 and 39 accounted for the majority $(50.2\%)$ of the sample. $90.8\%$ was married, and $67.9\%$ of the sample graduated from junior colleges. $29.6\%$ of them had worked for 10-14 years and $62.5\%$ was of the seventh rank. $62.3\%$ of the nurses was recruited, and $59.4\%$ had chosen the public job for its guaranteed status. Half the nurses were working for the county population of which was more than 260 thousands, and $53\%$ of the nurses was serving the public health centers with 11-15 members. $47.3\%$ of them perceived that their living standard is middle or lower. 2. The degree of the moral was found as mean score. 2.65, which is interpreted as low. It has 11 factors. The rank of mean score of the factors is job satisfaction (3.36), sense of belonging (3.36), sense of recognition (3.30), stress due to supervision (3.13), degree of participation (3.05) and self-achievement (3.04), while those scoring lower points were assurance of status (2.58), pay level (2.53), working conditions (2.35) and promotion opportunity (2.31). 3. The degree of moral depending on the demographic variables was significantly affected by such variables as age. academic background, career, rank, employment method, motive for the job, size of the population served and living standards. 4. The result of the Stepwise multiple regression analysis for the morale factors, it was found that self-achievement accounted for $61\%$ of the total variance of the degree of morale, followed by stable status $(18\%)$, working conditions $(8\%)$, job requirements $(4\%)$ and promotion opportunities $(2\%)$; these five factors explained about $94.6\%$ of total variance of the degree of nurses' morale. On the other hand. age $(8\%)$ and academic background $(2\%)$ accounted for $10\%$ of the total variance of the degree of morale. 5. The factors affecting nurses' job life was economic need $(26.7\%)$, personnel management $(17.5\%)$, sense of recognition $(13.2\%)$, human relationship $(11.0\%)$, stable status and personal development in rank. On the other hand, the factors influencing on their possible resignation were children's bringing-up $(27.8\%)$, poor personnel management and promotion $(13.3\%)$, workload $(11.1\%)$ and little personal development $(8.9\%)$, Since such morale factors as promotion opportunity, working condition. pay level and stable status scored lower, it is required to reconsider those factors to improve nurses' morale.

노인의 지각된 건강상태 및 건강개념과 건강증진 행위와의 관계 (The Relationship between Perceived health status, Health conception and Health promoting behavior in the Elderly)

  • This study was undertaken to grasp the relationship between perceived health status, health conception and health promoting behavior in the elderly. The subjects for this study were 157 old persons in Kyung-ju city. Data were collected by interview with questionnaires from August 24 to October 10, 1999. Analysis of the data was done by SPSS program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, stepwise multiple regression. The results were summarized as follows 1. For the practice of health promoting behavior. the mean score was 2.52. The factor of the highest mean score was nutrition(3.02) and factor of the lowest mean score was exerciset(2.03). 2. According to age(F=3.35, P=.012), sex(t=2.26, P=.025), marital status (F=5.08, P=.007), education(F=4.22, P=.003), family numbed(F=5.31, P= .006), people living together (F=2.77, P=.044), economic status(F=7.10, P=.00l), average monthly pocket money (F=3.35, P=.012), there were differences of health promoting behavior. 3. According to age(F=3.40, P=.01l), sex(t=4.30, P=.000), education(F=8.55, P=.000), economic status(F=12.59, P=.000), average monthly pocket money(F=4.26, P=.003), present disease(t=-8.41, P=.000), there were differences of perceived health status. According to marital status(F=3.36, P=.037), education(F=2.89, P=.038), there were differences of health conception. 4. Performance in the health promoting behavior was significantly correlated with perceived health status(r=.272, P=.00l), health conception(r=.345, P=.000) 5. The combination of well-being health conception and average monthly pocket money explained $24.7\%$ of the variance of health-promoting behavior. On the basis of the above findings the following recommendations are made; Nursing interventions enhancing exercise or activity, accountability for health, stress management of the elderly must be provided. And Cost-effective health promoting program for the elderly must be developed.

서울대도시권 지식서비스산업의 입지적 특성과 관련 업종별 고용기회 예측 (Locational Characteristics of Knowledge Service Industry and Related Employment Opportunity Estimation in the Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • 본 연구는 경제전반의 저성장 기조에도 불구하고 성장세를 보이는 지식서비스산업의 입지적 특성과 하위 업종별 고용기회의 변화를 분석한다. 특히 우리나라 20-30대 청년층이 선호하는 전문직서비스업 중 고용분포가 높은 업종인 출판업, 정보서비스업, 교육서비스업을 중심으로 지난 10년간 입지분포의 공간적 특성을 파악하고 고용분포의 변화를 예측한다. 이를 위하여 수도권지역을 대상으로 지식서비스업과 하위 3개 업종별 입지계수(LQ)를 산출하고, LISA 분석을 통해 집중분포지역을 파악한다. 또한 지식서비스업과 하위 3개 업종별 입지분포에 영향을 미치는 사회경제적 요인을 파악하고, 마르코프 체인 모형(Markov Chain Model)의 확률과정을 적용하여 고용분포지역의 변화를 단기예측한다. 분석결과, 수도권의 일부 특정지역을 중심으로 집중분포를 보이고 있는 세 업종별 특성에 따라 분포에 영향을 미치는 유의미한 변수에 차이가 나타났고, 업종에 따라 지역별 고용분포의 재분산에도 공간적 차이가 나타날 것으로 추정되었다. 본 연구에서 살펴본 지식서비스업종은 청년층의 고용분포가 가장 높지만 동시에 인력부족도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이들 업종별 구인-구직과정의 마찰을 감소시키기 위한 노력이 필요할 것이며, 이는 청년실업 문제를 완화하는 데에도 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

마산만(馬山灣)의 와편모조류(渦鞭毛藻類) 군집(群集)의 동태(動態) 계절적(季節的) 천이(遷移) (Dynamics and Seasonal Succession of Dinoflagellate Community in Masan Bay, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 마산만 일대의 와편모조류 군집의 구조와 동태 및 계절적 천이 그리고 환경요인과의 상호관계를 포괄하고자 1986년 4월부터 1987년 3월까지 일년 동안 제정 된 6개 정점에서 매월 실시하였다. 와편모조류에 현존량의 분포는 44-2,798,900 cella-/l, 저층에서 52-165,714 cells/l로서 층별, 월별, 정점별 차이가 매우 크게 나 타났으며 대발생(500,000 cells/l)의 양상은 표층의 4월부터 8월까지로써 춘·하계에 집중되어 있으며 정점별 외만보다 내만의 정점에서 더욱 두드러지게 나타났다. 출 현종의 세포크기에 의한 현존량의 분포를 조사한 결과 대부분의 우점종이 20-40 um 크 기로 대표할 수 있었으며, 이들 종류들은 내만에 더욱 우점하는 특이한 경향을 나타내 었다. 출현종 중 우점종은 육속 구종 이며, 우점종의 계절적인 천이는 Gyrodinium fissum이 년중 전 계절에 걸쳐 우점하였으며 5월에 Scrippsiellat trochoidea가 6월 에서 9월까지 Prorocentrum minimum, Protoperidinium bipes가 9월에서 12월까지 Ceratium fusus, Prorocentrum micans, Prorocentrum triestinum이 12월에 4월까지 Heterocapsa triquetra가 우점하는 천이의 양상을 나타내었다. 와편모조류의 현존량의 변화와 분석된 환경요인과의 상관관계를 단계식 중회귀식에 의해 분석한 결과 pH, 연 분 투명도, 실소등이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
