The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships among mother's depression, parenting behavior of children's problem behavior. The subjects used in this study were 203 three to five-year-old children who attended kindergarten and deycare center in Seoul and Gyonggido. The research data were collected through the 'Beck Depression Inventory(BDI)', 'Maternal Behavior Research Instrument(MBRI)', 'K-CBCL'. The data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation and Stepwise Multi-Regression. The results of this study indicate that there were significant positive correlations among children's problem behavior, mother's depression, rejective and control parenting behavior. And there were significant negative correlations among children's problem behavior, mother's affectionate and permissive parenting behavior. Also, the mother's depression was the predicted variable that has the most significant relative effect on children's problem behavior. Moreover, the results of this study indicate that rejective parenting behavior that is subordinate factor of parenting behavior was additional predictor of stress.
Field emergence of Azuki bean is poor due to hard seed coat as compared to other legumes. In this study, an attempt was made to develop prediction method with regression analysis based on various seed vigor tests in laboratory for field emergence of azuki bean. Azuki bean seeds artificially aged to provide various levels of seed quality were evaluated by the standard germination test (SGT), cold germination test (CT), cool germination test (CGT), complex stressing vigor test (CSVT), tetrazolium(TZ) vigor test and electroconductivity test. The SGT was suitable for predicting the field emergence in the unaged high vigor seeds. The abnormal seedling percentage and shoot length in the CGT were highly correlated with field emergence of moderate vigor seeds artificially aged for 2 days. Electroconductivity, seed viability in the CSVT, and vigor and predicted germinability in the tetrazolium vigor test were also useful for predicting field emergence. Percent of ungerminated seed in the CSVT was correlated with field emergence in the low vigor seeds artificially aged for 4 days. In a stepwise multiple regression analysis, seed viability in the SGT, normal seedling percentage and dry matter weight in the CGT accounted for 86.9% of the predicted value of field emergence in azuki bean.

This study investigated the descriptive statistics and correlation among self-identity, school violence experience, and family social capital of adolescents and examined influence of school violence experience on self-identity and moderating effect of family social capital on the relationship between school violence experience and self-identity. Data used for analysis was from 7th grade students in The Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey in 2012. Analyses were performed using the IBM SPSS program for demographic analysis, pearson correlation, and stepwise regression analyses. Results of the study were as follows: First, the average was slightly higher for self-identity, parents' affectionate attention, and awareness of their child's friends; the average was lower for misconduct experience and victimization experience; second, there was a weak negative correlation between self-identity and bully victimization; there was a positive correlation between self-identity and family social capital (parents' affectionate attention and awareness of their child's friends). Third, to investigate the effect of school violence experience (bullying and bully victimization) on self-identity, stepwise regression analysis results were as follows: Bullying had a statistically positive influence on self-identity and bully victimization had a statistically negative influence on self-identity; both parents' affectionate attention and awareness of their child's friends had a statistically positive influence on self-identity; fourth, parents' affectionate attention had a statistically negative moderating effect on the self-identity; therefore, it signifies that the relationship between bully victimization and self-identity appears differently depending on the parents' affectionate attention, which means that the parents' affectionate attention had a negative effect on the self-identity of the adolescents who were victimized by school violence.

This study analyzed the forces to drive the change of urban green spaces in Daegu from 1989 to 2009. First, the loss and fragmentation of green spaces in the past 20 years were spatially identified by performing the hot spots analysis for the cell-based spatial metrics quantifying the size and diversity of green spaces. Next, seven drivers such as slope, distance to roads, land price, population density, ratios of residential, commercial, and industrial areas were selected based on the previous studies and the direction of the association between the loss and fragmentation of green spaces and seven drivers was analyzed with the stepwise logistic regression. Finally, the relative importance of the seven drivers and their interactions in the past 20 years were analyzed with the geographical detector. The results show that the loss of green spaces was concentrated on a part of the Anshim housing development district from 1989 to 2009 and green spaces were highly fragmented around the housing development districts such as Seongseo, Anshim, Dalseong-gun and Chilgok. The forces to drive the loss and fragmentation of green spaces in these areas were different at the administrative levels, but the drivers such as slope and ratios of residential and industrial areas were commonly significant. These drivers were positively correlated with largest patch index(LPI) quantifying the loss of green spaces while they were negatively correlated with Shannon's diversity index(SHDI) measuring the fragmentation of green spaces. In other words, the loss and fragmentation of urban green spaces in Daegu appeared around such regions with lower slope and lower ratios of residential and industrial areas. The relative importance of drivers for LPI was listed as ratio of industrial area, land price, and ratio of commercial area in descending order whereas that of drivers for SHDI was listed as ratio of industrial area, land price, and distance to roads in descending order. Also, the interaction between slope and ratio of residential area had a great impact on LPI and SHDI. The ratio of industrial area was a single driver to most significantly explain the loss and fragmentation of urban green spaces in Daegu in the past 20 years. The interaction between slope and ratio of residential area was greater than the independent influence of a single driver. This study will provide the base data to build a sustainable urban green policy for the city of Daegu in the near future.
The purpose of this study was to provide information necessary to strengthen maternal role adaptation of employed mothers by identifying factors affecting maternal role adaptation of employed mothers with young children. The subjects of this study were convenience extracts from 137 employed mothers with infants under 24 months of residence in H city, Gyeonggi-do. Data were processed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and stepwise regression analysis. As a result of the study, maternal role adaptation was positively correlated with mother attachment(r=.488, p<.001) and social support(r=.718, p<.001). Social support(β=.616), baby status at birth(β=.123), current breastfeeding status(β=.127) and maternal attachment degree(β=.141) affect the maternal role adaptation of employed mothers. The explanatory power of regression analysis was 55.5%(F=43.487, p<.001). As a result of the study, social support was found to be the most important factor influencing maternal role adaptation of employed mothers. Various intervention strategies for promoting social support in families, workplaces and communities are required for maternal role adaptation to employed mothers.
The purpose of this study was to investigate workplace bullying, job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention as well as determine influencing factors on the turnover intention of small and medium-sized hospital nurses. Participants included 140 nurses from six small and medium-sized hospitals with less than 300 beds in G-city and J-province. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression, using the SPSS Win 21.0 program. The regression model was statistically significant (F=37.11, p<.001), and the explanatory power for turnover intention was 34.2%. The significant factors influencing turnover intention were organizational commitment (β=-.41, p<.001 and job stress (β=.25, p=.005). Human resources management is crucial for providing high quality healthcare service. The results of this study indicated that it is important to lower job stress and increase organizational commitment in order to reduce turnover intention among nurses of small and medium-sized hospitals. Based on these findings, customized programs for nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals need to be developed and implemented so as to lower their turnover intention and promote efficient management of healthcare human resources.

The purpose of this study was to provide a basic data required to improve the satisfaction of life in college students. A sample of 607 students attending the university in Incheon, Korea completed a survey, which consisted of a quality of life questionnaire and sociodemographic inventory. The data were collected between November 14 and November 30, 2016. Data analysis was performed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. The subjective quality of life was significantly correlated with self-leadership (r=.279, p<0.01) and rejection sensitivity (r=-.224, p<0.01). The significant predictors that influence the quality of life of subjects were satisfaction in major, natural reward strategies, gender, anticipated anxiety and grade, in which 27.6% (F=47.27, p<0.01) was the explained variance. (Ed note: confirm) This study showed that rejection sensitivity and self-leadership were significant factors that influenced college students' subjective quality of life. Therefore, college administrators may consider developing educational programs about rejection sensitivity and self-leadership for college students to improve subjective quality of life.
Phonological awareness is a metalinguistic awareness ability of phonology and is known to predict language skills, such as reading and vocabulary skills. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between phonological awareness, phonological processing, and language skills in 4- to 6-years-old typically developing (TD) children and children with language delay (LD). A total of 32 children (TD=18, LD=15) participated in this study. They performed a phonological awareness task consisting of counting, deletion, and discrimination at syllable level. Nonword Repetition, Digit Backward, Receptive & Expressive Vocabulary Test, and Grammaticality Judgment Task were performed to analyze the correlation between phonological awareness, phonological processing, and language ability. A multiple stepwise regression analysis was performed to examine the phonological awareness subtasks that predict language ability. In the TD group, the syllable categorization task significantly predicted the receptive vocabulary and the performance of the Grammaticality Judgment Task. The LD group showed that the syllable counting task significantly predicted the receptive vocabulary, the expressive vocabulary, and the performance of the Grammaticality Judgment Task. The results showed that the phonological awareness performance was significantly different between the two groups. Further, correlation analysis and regression analysis showed different results for each group. The result of the phonological awareness performance predicted the language ability of each group significantly, suggesting the importance of the meta-linguistic awareness ability of phonology.
The purpose of this study is to examine if ego resilience has regulating effects in correlation between child care teachers' job stress and work environment and their performance of roles with child care teachers working in Seoul and Incheon. PASW 20.0 was employed to conduct frequency, percentage, and reliability analysis. For each of the study questions, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and stepwise regression analysis were done. The findings of this study are as follows; First, job stress perceived by child care teachers is found to have negative effects on their performance of roles. Second, work environment perceived by child care teachers such as relationship with the director, relationship with fellow teachers, welfare environment, support for teacher expertise, and factors related to operation or decision making are found to influence their performance of roles. Lastly, in correlation between work environment perceived by child care teachers and their performance of roles, ego resilience has regulating effects, and so does it in correlation between job stress and their performance of roles.

This study was undertaken to analyze factors influencing the emotional labor and emotional intelligence of a dental hygienist on organizational effectiveness. The study was conducted between September 4, 2018 to December 7, 2018, enrolling a total of 233 dental hygienists living in the Jeollabuk-do province. The data were analyzed by independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression, using SPSS 18.0. The regression model obtained was F=138.917, P<0.05, with an explanatory percentage of 58.2. Emotional labor (${\beta}=0.608$) was determined to be the most influential variable among independent variables, and other factors affecting the organizational effectiveness of a dental hygienist include the highest level of education, career, and emotional intelligence. We conclude that in order to improve organizational effectiveness among dental hygienists, it is necessary to establish an effective plan for reducing emotional labor and promote emotional intelligence.
