본 논문에서는 양방향 화면 간 예측에서 LIC(Local Illuminance Compensation)의 복잡도 감소를 위한 방법을 제안한다.
Superpixel methods are widely used in the preprocessing stage as a method to reduce computational complexity by simplifying images while maintaining the characteristics of the images in the computer vision applications. It is common to generate superpixels of similar size and shape based on the pixel values rather than considering the characteristics of the image. In this paper, we propose a method to control the sizes and shapes of generated superpixels, considering the contents of an image. The proposed method consists of two steps. The first step is to over-segment an image so that the boundary information of the image is well preserved. In the second step, generated superpixels are merged based on similarity to produce the target number of superpixels, where the shapes of superpixels are controlled by limiting the maximum size and the proposed roundness metric. Experimental results show that the proposed method preserves the boundaries of the objects in an image more accurately than the existing method.
The future teleconferencing systems will need an appropriate system which controls properly the acoustic echo for the convenient communication. The conventional acoustic echo cancellation algorithms involve large adaptive filters identifying the impulse response of the echo path. The use of adaptive IIR filters appears to be a reasonable way to reduce computational complexity. Effective cancellation of acoustic echo presented in teleconferencing system requires that adaptive filters have a rapid convergence speed. One of the main problems of acoustic echo cancellation techniques is that the convergence properties degrade for an highly correlated signal input such as speech signals. By the way, the introduction of linear prediction filers onto the structure of the acoustic echo cancellation represents one approach to decorrelate the speech signal. And variable step-size LMS algorithm improves the convergence speed through a little increasing of computational complexity. In this paper, we applied these two methods to the acoustic echo canceller(AEC) and showed that these methods have better performances than the conventional AEC.
In this paper, we are concerned with a digital fingerprinting scheme for multi-purchase where a buyer wants to buy more than a digital content. If we apply previous schemes to multi-purchase protocol, the number of execution of registration step and decryption key should be increased in proportion to that of digital contents to be purchased in order to keep unlinkability. More worse, most of fingerprinting schemes in the literature are based on either secure multi-party computation or general zero-knowledge proofs with very high computational complexity. These high complexities complicate materialization of fingerprinting protocol more and more. In this paper, we propose a multi-purchase fingerprinting scheme with lower computational complexity. In the proposed scheme, a buyer executes just one-time registration step regardless of the number of contents to be purchased. The number of decryption key is constant and independent of the number of contents to be purchased. We can also reduce the computational costs of buyers by introducing a concept of proxy-based fingerprinting protocol.

This paper proposes a data fusion algorithm of nonlinear multi sensor dynamic systems of synchronous sampling based on filtering step by step. Firstly, the object state variable at the next time index can be predicted by the previous global information with the systems, then the predicted estimation can be updated in turn by use of the extended Kalman filter when all of the observations aiming at the target state variable arrive. Finally a fusion estimation of the object state variable is obtained based on the system global information. Synchronously, we formulate the new algorithm and compare its performances with those of the traditional nonlinear centralized and distributed data fusion algorithms by the indexes that include the computational complexity, data communicational burden, time delay and estimation accuracy, etc.. These compared results indicate that the performance from the new algorithm is superior to the performances from the two traditional nonlinear data fusion algorithms.
In this paper. we propose an adaptive step-size algorithm for the adaptive interference canceller (AIC) in the space-time trellis coded DS-CDMA system. In the AIC, the performance of the blind LMS algorithms that updates the tap-weight vector of the AIC is heavily dependent on the choice of step-size. To improve the performance of the fixed step-size AIC (FS-AIC), the regular adaptive step-size algorithm is extended in complex domain and applied to the joint AIC and ML decoder scheme. Simulation results show that the joint adaptive step-size AIC (AS-AIC) and ML decoder scheme using the proposed algorithm has boner performance than not only the conventional ML decoder but also the joint FS-AIC and ML decoder scheme without much increase of the decoding delay and complexity.
Representation of product data for exchanging and sharing a plant information was established the International Standard by ISO 10303 (STEP) and ISO 15926, but is not used widely in industrial circles by massiveness of standard and complexity of plant itself Specially, they are embodied to STEP data file(ISO 10303 Parts 21), but STEP file is uncomfortable that a person recognizes, and needs specification creation tool. In this paper, we made the integration schema for control valve through related standards, Also, we suggest the practical use framework for electronic commerce to utilize the XML schema that can represents integrate schema of control valve to use XML that is becoming the latest issue.
Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) is an abnormal placental adherence or invasion of the myometrium or extrauterine structures. As PAS is primarily staged and managed surgically, imaging can only guide and facilitate diagnosis. But, imaging can aid in preparations for surgical complexity in some cases of PAS. Ultrasound remains the imaging modality of choice; however, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is required for evaluation of areas difficult to visualize on ultrasound, and the assessment of the extent of placenta accreta. Numerous MRI features of PAS have been described, including dark intraplacental bands, placental bulge, and placental heterogeneity. Failure to diagnose PAS carries a risk of massive hemorrhage and surgical complications. This article describes a comprehensive, step-by-step approach to diagnostic imaging and its potential pitfalls.
In this paper, we propose the improved initial image estimation method for a fast fractal image decoding. When the correlation between a domain and a range is given as the linear equation, the value of initial image estimation using the conventional method is the intersection between its linear equation and y=x. If the gradient of linear equation is large, that the difference of the value between each adjacent pixels is large, the conventional method has disadvantage which has the impossibility of exact estimation. The method of the proposed initial image estimation performs well by two steps. he first step can improve the disadvantage of the conventional method. The second step upgrades the range value which was found previous step by referring information of its domain. Though the computational complexity for the initial image estimation increses slightly, the total computational complexity decreases by 30% than that of the conventional method because of diminishing in the number of iterations.
