  • Due to the fact that the set point regulation scheme by the variable structure control method concerns only the initial and final locations of a manipulator, many constraints may exist in the application of path tracking with obstracle avoidance. The variable structure parameter should be selected in the trajectory planning step by satisfying the constraints of the travel time and the path deviations This paper presents the selection algorithm of the variable structure parameters with the constraints of the system dynamics and the travel time and the path deviation. This study makes unify the trajectory planning and tracking control using the variable structure control method.

  • 일반적인 비선형 동역학 최적화문제를 비선형 프로그래밍 문제로 변환하는데 제어변수들을 방사성 기본 함수로 근사화하는 방법이 사용되었다. 방사성 기본 함수의 계수들을 연속적으로 보정하기 위하여 최소수정기법에 기초를 둔 비선형 프로그래밍 알고리즘이 연구되었다. 이러한 알고리즘을 실제적인 다변수 제어 시스템에 적용하여 성능을 검증하였다.

Analysis of the LMS Algorithm Family for Uncorelated Gaussian Data

  • In this paper, convergence properties of the LMS, LMF, and LVCMS algorithms are investigated under the assumption of the uncorrelated Gaussian input data. By treating these algorithms as special cases of more general algorithm family, unified results on these algorithms are obtained. First the upper bound on the step size parameter is obtained. Second, an expression for misadjustment is obtained. These theoretical results confirm earlier LMS works. Further, the results explain why the LMS and LVCMS algorithms are experiencing difficulties with plant noise having heavier tailed densities. Simulation results agree with theoretical expectation closely for various plant noise statistics.

  • A step down chopper and PWM current source inverter is used for the connection between the PV array and the utility. This paper proposes chopper is controlled for the dc reactor decrease and PWM current source inverter is controlled to keep the output power at the maximum point for the PV. The PV current only is measured and employed for the power calculation combining the control parameter of the PWM current source inverter.

  • Image inpainting is the process of reconstructing lost or deteriorated parts of images using information from surrounding areas. We propose a computationally efficient and fast phase-field method which uses automatic switching parameter, adaptive time step, and automatic stopping of calculation. The algorithm is based on an energy functional. We demonstrate the performance of our new method and compare it with a previous method.

  • 풍력발전시스템은 풍력을 동력원으로 하여 풍차 블레이드를 회전시킴으로 발생하는 동력이 발전기를 작동하여 전기를 발생시키는 무공해 발전시스템의 하나로서 현재 대체 에너지원으로 각광을 받고 있다. 일반적으로 저 회전 고 토크 특성의 풍력에너지를 고 회전 저 토크 특성으로 작동되는 발전기로 전달하기 위하여 증속기를 사용한다. 풍력발전시스템용 증속기는 지상에서 높고 제한된 공간 내에 위치하게 되어 보수가 용이하지 못하므로 최적화한 구조 및 높은 신뢰수명이 요구된다.(중략)

  • In this paper, poppet valve with cone type poppet and sharp edged seat was studied. In order to develope poppet valve which have a specification of 315(bar) and 3(lpm), effect of design parameter as valve seat diameter, poppet angle, spring stiffness and spring pre-load was evaluated. The validity of simulation was confirmed and basic data far poppet valve design was derived.

  • In this work, a recursive parameter estimation algorithm estimates the mathematical model of steam generators every time step and a receding horizon controller is designed by using this estimated linear steam generator model of which parameters change as time goes on. It was shown through application to a linear model of steam generator that the proposed controller has good performance.

  • This paper presents the design of an electromagnetic system such as jumping ring system, and also considers the characteristics of dynamics for system with initial parameter. For the propose of system analysis, the MATLAB tool is to solve coupled differential equations with inductances and mutual inductance. To apply a real electromagnetic system, this paper implements the jumping ring system using design parameters, and analyzes the jumping ring system with proposal step.

  • Dimensional precision is a critical parameter in net shape processing of ferrous PM components. Sinter-hardening alloys undergo a transformation from austenite to martensite. Martensite formation expands the sintered compact, while tempering hardened steels results in shrinkage. In addition, martensitic regions with high Cu and C contents may contain large amounts of retained austenite. The presence of martensite and retained austenite, in addition to the tempering step, all play a role in the final dimensions of a component. This paper investigates the dimensional and microstructural changes to two sinter-hardening grades through different post-sintering thermal treatments.
