천해에서의 저주파 잔향음 분석 (Analysis of Low-frequency Reverberation Inshallow Water)

  • 수중 폭발성 음원(SUS: Signals underwater sound)을 이용한 천해 저주파 잔향음 실험을 97년 제주 해역에서 실시하였다. 고유음선 정보에 경계면 반사손실을 보정하여 유효 고유음선을 구하였다. 이것을 기준으로 측정된 신호를 시간영역에서 잡음, 반사, 산란 영역으로 구분하고 각 영역에 대해서 스펙트럼 분석을 실시하였으며 각 영역이 갖는 확률적 특성을 분석하였다. 실험해역은 안정된 해저 형태를 갖는 천해였으므로 산란 신호는 일정한 크기를 갖고 지속적으로 수신되었다. 스펙트럼 분석을 통하여 각 영역별 분포하는 주파수 대역을 확인하였다. 또한 구분된 각 영역에 대해 확률 특성을 분석한 결과 주파수영역의 실수부와 허수부는 각각 정규 분포를 보였으며 그것의 진폭(envelope)은 레일리 분포를 나타냈다. 또한 산란신호의 위상은 유니폼 분포 특성을 나타내어 잔향음의 확률 분포 특성을 잘 반영하고 있었다.

인공와우이식 아동의 운율 특성 - 조음속도와 쉼, 지속시간을 중심으로 - (The Prosodic Characteristics of Children with Cochlear Implant with Respect to the Articulation Rate, Pause, and Duration)

  • This research reports the prosodic characteristics (including articulation speech rate, pause characteristics, duration) of children with cochlear implants with reference to those of children with normal hearing. Subjects are 8-to 10-year-old children, balancing each number of gender as 24. Dialogue speech data are comprised of four types of sentence patterns. Results show that 1) there's a statistically meaningful difference on articulation speech rate between the two groups. 2) On pauses, they are not observed in exclamatory and declarative sentences in normal children. While imperative sentences show no statistical difference on the number of pauses between the two groups, interrogative sentences do. 3) Declarative, exclamatory, and interrogative sentences reveal statistical difference between the two groups in terms of the sentence's final two-syllable word duration, showing no difference on imperative sentences. 4) When it comes to the RFP (duration ratio of sentence final syllable to penultimate syllable), we no statistically meaningful difference between the two groups in all types of sentences exists. 5) Lastly, RWS (the ratio of sentence final two syllable word duration to that of whole sentence duration) shows statistical difference between two groups in imperative sentences, but not in all the rest types.

  • 산란강도의 변동에 따른 통계적 특성은 능동소나의 성능에 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라, 주요 산란과정을 이해하는 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 천해에서 측정한 해저면 후방산란 신호의 통계적 특성 분석에 대한 내용을 기술하였다. 천천히 움직이는 30kHz의 실험용 소나로 해저면에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 신호의 진폭변화에 대한 시${\cdot}$공간 상관함수를 계산하였다. 또한, 넓은 빔과 좁은 빔 신호의 포락선에대한 분포함수와 오경보 확률을 계산하고, 이론 모델과 비교를 시도하였다. 분석 결과에서 이동음원에 의한 해저면 후방산란 변동의 통계적 특성은 고정된 음원의 경우와 다른 특징을 나타냈다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to survey dental prosthesis and dental prosthesis needs of elderly for improving oral health status. Methods: The data collected from 'The fifth Korean national health and nutrition examination survey 2010' was analyzed in this study. Statistical analysis was done using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 19.0 for Windows. We determined frequencies and percentage, calculating means, and standard deviations, and determined statistical significance using cross-tabulation analysis, logistic regression analysis. Results: General characteristics showed differences in mandible fixed crown bridge needs associated with periodontal disease. General characteristics showed differences in maxillar partial and full denture with gender, age, education, perceived oral health. General characteristics showed differences in mandible partial and full denture with age, residence, education, perceived oral health. Conclusion: In order to improve oral health of the elderly, Dental prosthesis support policy and oral health policy are necessary.

  • 본 논문은 마그네슘합금 AZ31의 피로파손수명의 확률론적 특성과 신뢰성에 미치는 경계조건의 영향을 평가하였다. 경계조건으로 시편두께와 응력비 그리고 최대피로하중을 적용하였으며, 각 경계조건별로 세부 실험조건에 대한 피로균열전파실험을 수행하여 피로파손수명에 대한 통계 데이터를 획득하였다. 마그네슘합금의 피로파손수명의 통계적 해석을 위하여 3-모수 와이블분포를 사용하였다. 시편두께가 두꺼울수록, 응력비가 클수록, 그리고 최대피로하중이 작을수록 통계적 피로파손수명이 길게 나타났다. 반면에 시편두께가 얇을수록, 응력비가 작을수록, 그리고 최대피로하중이 클수록 신뢰성이 급격히 감소하였다.

  • 전국토의 65%가 산림지역인 우리 나라의 경우 1990년대에 들어와서 산불발생건수 및 피해면적이 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 산불을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 GIS(지리정보 시스템)를 이용하여 산불피해지역의 지형을 분석하였고, 기상자료와 임상자료를 포함하여 소형산불과 대형산불의 인자간 상호 비교 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 대형산불에 영향을 주는 인자는 사면장, 사면경사, 풍속, 수종, 수종연속성이 산불의 대형화와 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

산업단지 유형에 따른 교통사고 특성 비교 분석 (Comparative analysis of Traffic Accidents Characteristics using Various Types of Industrial Complexes)

  • PURPOSES : The objective of this study is to identify the characteristics affecting traffic accidents that have occurred in 564 industrial complexes nationwide from 2011 to 2015. METHODS : The traffic accidents were specified using various factors such as industrial complex type (national VS. general), industrial complex degradation (old VS. non-old), location of complex (capital VS. non-capital), and traffic law violation (speeding, signal violation, and median invasion). The average number of crashes and accident ratio (fatal, severe, and both) in terms of characteristics of industrial complexes were calculated. With a sample of crashes of the industrial complexes for 5 years, statistical significances were tested to analyze and compare the differences based on industrial complex and traffic law characteristics using parametric and non-parametric methods. RESULTS : From statistical results, it is observed that the crash frequency occurring in old industrial complexes is three times higher than that in non-old industrial complexes. Old industrial complexes located in a capital area, old national industrial complexes, and old general industrial complexes are considerably related to higher crash frequency, but the fatal accident ratio appeared to have no statistical difference across industrial complex characteristics. Severe crashes are more likely to occur in non-old industrial complexes on an average. CONCLUSIONS : It is necessary to eliminate potential threats to roads and traffic in the same manner as illegal parking in industrial complexes through the restoration of old industrial complexes. To improve the efficiency of road infrastructure, efforts should be made to improve traffic safety in accordance with industrial characteristics such as planning and operation of relevant local government programs.

Image Description and Matching Scheme Using Synthetic Features for Recommendation Service

  • This paper presents an image description and matching scheme using synthetic features for a recommendation service. The recommendation service is an example of smart search because it offers something before a user's request. In the proposed extraction scheme, an image is described by synthesized spatial and statistical features. The spatial feature is designed to increase the discriminability by reflecting delicate variations. The statistical feature is designed to increase the robustness by absorbing small variations. For extracting spatial features, we partition the image into concentric circles and extract four characteristics using a spatial relation. To extract statistical features, we adapt three transforms into the image and compose a 3D histogram as the final statistical feature. The matching schemes are designed hierarchically using the proposed spatial and statistical features. The result shows that each feature is better than the compared algorithms that use spatial or statistical features. Additionally, if we adapt the proposed whole extraction and matching scheme, the overall performance will become 98.44% in terms of the correct search ratio.

  • To determine the representative pollution degree of outdoor insulators during the drought season, we should make an investigation on the long-term accumulation characteristics of contaminants. As the contamination mechanism of outdoor insulator is extremely depend on the climatic condition, there is a large difference between the research result of Japanese utilities. So based on the difference of precipitation of the Korea and Japan, we could say that the accumulation characteristics of the countries have a significant difference. But, based on the result of Japan, the accumulation property of contaminants was ignored in KEPCO\`s specification. So, to determine the accumulation characteristics of Korea, we measured the 2 and 3 month ESDD with brush wiping method and make a statistical analysis on measured data. And, from the results, we understood the accumulation characteristics of Korea and the influence of topographical condition on the distribution characteristics of salt contaminants. coast.
