  • In the systems with largely pipe head loss, variable speed pumps are generally used because substantial energy saving can be expected from such systems by controlling pump speed and also they offer simpler maintenance and operational ease even in conditions where abrupt changes In flow rate and head can occur. The invertor or the fluid coupling system are mainly adopted to control the rotating speed. In this paper, operating conditions at Migum pressing pump station(5 stage), where the fluid coupling system was the first installed for KOWACO, are investigated and analysed so that information thus gained can be usefully employed in the efficient operation of variable speed pump in new installations of in-line booster pumping station.

서울시 대규모 환승역의 지하철 호선별 PM2.5에 대한 오염현황 연구 (Comparison of PM2.5 Pollution Status at a Major Transit Subway Station in Seoul)

  • We investigated the pollution levels of $PM_{2.5}$ at Wangsimni station at which four subway lines (Line 2, Line 5, the Jungang line, and the Bundang Line) are simultaneously under the operation. The analysis of $PM_{2.5}$ was made for the period of 1~ 11 Nov. 2014. The results of our field campaign were analyzed to assess the effects of various factors and conditions on the $PM_{2.5}$ pollution (such as installation of the screen door, density of floating population, weekdays and weekend, and the depth of platforms). The mean concentrations of $PM_{2.5}$ in each subway line of the Wangsimni station was measured as: the line 2 ($22.5{\mu}g/m^3$) ; the line 5 ($18.3{\mu}g/m^3$) ; the Jungang line ($31.8{\mu}g/m^3$); and the Bundang line ($32.2{\mu}g/m^3$). Based on the detailed analysis of $PM_{2.5}$ pollution at four subway lines, we aimed to provide some perspectives on reducing the concentration of ultrafine particles in a highly populated urban area.

  • The station area development planed to improve the old and narrowed station and to enhance the train passenger's convenience through private capital attraction in the past. But it has been faced with difficulty for the creative of transfer demand. Because of lean upon building facilities were caused by shortage of business profitability as to development of the upside a railway line, and lack of public utilities. The station area development requires that it's trend to large scale development of station areas, korail's direct development, deputation of specialty company to development, collaboration between local government and korail in development, diversification of process & installed facility, building multi-transfer center and one-stop transfer system. This trend caused by low profitability in development of the upside a railway line. The purposes of study are to make the system and law reflected to the property of station area development, investment in kind of needed land, and change railroad areas to high-rise and complex development, and make a forum between government and korail, etc.

로오란 C 시스템에서 발신국의 배치에 따른 GDOP의 변화 및 유효범위에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Variation of the GDOP and Service Area in Accordance with Arrangement of Transmitting Station Loran C System)

  • 로오란C의 9970 chain과 5970 chain을 중심으로, 양 시스템을 이용하여 위치를 측정하였을 때의 측정위치의 정도를 평가할 수 있는 GDOP를 시뮬레이션으로 계산하여, 현 송신국의 이설에 따른 변화, 송신국의 시뮬레이션위치에 따른 변화 및 유효범위에 관하여 검사 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 9970 chain은 Z 종국이 과거 Yap도에서 현재의 Guam도로 이설된 후의 등GDOP선도에서, 주국의 이남부분을 보면 Yap도였을 때의 GDOP 2.0과 Guam도였을 때의 GDOP 3.0이 거의 일치하였으며, 전체적으로 GDOP의 값이 높아져 위치측정의 정도는 낮아져 있다. 2. 9970 chain의 Z 종국이 영토문제로 인접국인 일본으로 이관되지 않고 폐쇄되는 경우는 남측인 남지나해 및 Guam도 부근해역은 GDOP의 값이 크게 높아져, 5.0의 등GDOP선이 Fig.3에서는 2.0, Fig.4에서는 3.0의 등 GDOP선과 대개 일치하였다. 3. 9970 chain의 X 종국과 5970 chain의 X 종국은 송신국이 이관될 경우 전파의 전파경로 및 배치상태상 재배치하여 위치의 정도를 높이고 이용범위를 넓힐 필요성이 있다.

경의선 신촌역사의 변천 과정에 관한 연구 (The Change of Shinchon Railway Station in Kyungui Line)

  • 본 연구에서는 1920년 신축되어 등록문화재 제 136호고 등록된 경의선 신촌역사의 건축적 특징을 중심으로 1920년 개설이후 현재에 이르기까지의 변천과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 신촌역사는 서울에서 현존하는 가장 오래된 역사로 역사적, 문화적 가치를 지니고 있고 그와 동시에 개발에 대한 가능성을 통시에 지니고 있었다. 이에 따라 신촌역사는 도심지 내 개발과 보존에 대한 갈등의 성격을 그대로 보여주고 있다. 본 연구는 신촌역사를 중심으로 척도관련시설의 개발과 보존에 대한 현상과 문제점을 진단하고 이에 대한 방향을 찾고자 하였다.

  • The waterhammer occured when the pumps are started or stopped for the operation or tripped due to the power failure, the hydraulic transients occur as a result of the sudden change in velocity. The field tests of the waterhammer were carried out for PanGyo booster pumping station. The PanGyo pumuing station was installed booster pump of 6 sets and in-line pump of 2 sets. The main surge suppression device was equipped with the pump control valve and the surge relief valve as auxiliary. However, the pump control valve had not early controlled in the planned closing mode, and the slamming occurred to the valve of which abruptly closed during the large reverse flow. Because the pressure wave caused by the pump failure was superposed on the slam surge, the upsurge increased so extremely that the shaft of the valve was damaged. After the addition surge suppression device was equipped with air chamber. Further more in-line pump is needed surge suppression device that the pumping station acquired the safety and reliability for the pressure surge.

  • 상봉~춘천 구간을 운행하는 경춘선 복선전철이 2010년 12월에 운행을 개시함에 따라 시간과 비용측면 모두에서 타 교통수단과 비교하여 우월한 서비스 제공이 가능해졌다. 하지만 수도권 북부(서울시 강북, 도봉, 성북 및 경기 동두천, 양주, 의정부 등)지역에서 경춘선을 이용하기 위해서는 회기와 상봉에서 2회 환승해야 하는 불편이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존 망우선을 이용하여 경춘선 전동열차의 일부를 성북역에서 시종착함으로써 이용자의 환승 불편을 최소화하고 이에 따른 이용수요 변화를 분석하여 보다 효율적인 열차운행계획을 수립하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 수요변화분석을 위해 총통행시간(환승시간 및 통행시간)을 고려하여 직접수요모형을 추정하였으며 구간운임 변화에 대한 부분은 고려하지 않아 향후 추가적 보완이 요구된다.

  • The operation of express train on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Network is centered on the Kyungbu and Kyungin lines and the short section between Dongducheon station and Ganyung station which is 20.7km long. It is true that the needs of many customers who want to reduce their commuting hours by express train is not satisfied. This paper proposes that the operation of express trains be enlarged to Sungbuk station on Kyungwon line which comes to 34.9 km long, and to Yangsu station from Youngsan station on Jungang line. The type of operation is mixed one with high and low speed trains, which operates express train by use of existing siding tracks without improving facilities such as extra building of sidings. This pragmatic study is to apply the goal of reducing running time as express train and to suggest the selection of appropriate stops, effectivenes analysis of express train operation and formation of train diagrams to actual operation.

개통 이후의 지하철역 거리에 기반한 주택가격의 시간적 반응 - 개통 후 10년의 대전 도시철도를 중심으로 - (Temporal Reaction of House Price Based on the Distance from Subway Station since Its Operation - Focused on 10-year Experience after Opening of the Daejeon Urban Transit Line -)

  • This study analyzed whether a subway accessibility impact on house price is constant since its operation over time or not. The study was approached specifically to answer two research questions. One is "Are there significant temporal variations in the relationship between subway accessibility and housing price transacted after its opening?" The other one is "How the pattern of its temporal variation in housing price is formed as a function of the distance from the nearest station?" The study area is the subway station areas in the Daejeon metropolitan city, South Korea. Its first subway line has started to be opened in 2006 with 12 stations and then opened its additional 10 stations in 2007. It can be more appropriate to observe its impacts of subway accessibility on housing price because it has only one transit line with more than 10-year reaction term to its operation. The study employed alternative models to estimate yearly variation of subway accessibility on house price for the station areas with 500-meter and 1-kilometer radius respectively. While the study originally considered both a hedonic price model with interaction terms of its access distance to yearly transacted housing and a time-variant random coefficient model, the former model was finally selected because it is better fitted. Based on our analysis results, the reaction of house price to its transit line had significant temporal variation over time after opening. In addition, the pattern in its variation from our analysis results indicates that its capitalization impact on house price is over-estimated in its first several years after the opening. In addition, its positive capitalization impact is more effective in the 1000-meter station area than in the 500-meter one.
