초고강도 원심성형 각형보를 상부구조로 하는 라멘교의 내하성능 평가 (Evaluation of the Load Carrying Capacity on a Rahmen Bridge with Ultra-high Strength Centrifugally Formed Square Beams as the Superstructure )

  • 고가의 혼화재 투입 없이 원심성형 공정 활용으로 콘크리트의 수밀성 증대를 통한 콘크리트 압축강도가 100MPa급인 초고강도 프리스트레스 각형보를 개발하였다. 피암터널 상부구조로 개발된 원심성형 각형보를 지역 소하천의 라멘교에 시공하였으며, 본 연구에서는 정적재하시험을 통하여 계측한 결과와 대상 구조물의 수치해석 결과를 바탕으로 비교, 분석하여 원심성형 각형보 라멘교의 공용내하력과 안전성을 평가하였다. 본 교량의 정·동적 재하시험과 수치해석 결과가 유사하게 나타났으며 원심성형 각형보의 거동을 잘 모사하는 것으로 확인되었다. 합성 라멘교를 구성하는 모든 원심성형 각형보는 설계활하중 하에서 충분한 내하력을 확보하는 것으로 평가되었고 안전성을 확보하여 구조적인 신뢰성을 입증하였다.

분포하중이 포물선 아치의 정적 거동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Distributed Load on the Static Behaviour of tile Parabolic Arches)

  • This study aims to investigate the effect of partially distributed loads on the static behavior of parabolic arches by using the elastic-plastic finite element model. For this purpose, the vertical, the radial, and the anti-symmetric load cases are considered, and the ratio of loading range and arch span is increased from 20% to 100%. Also, the elastic-visco-plastic analysis has been carried out to estimate the elapse time to reach the stable state of arches when the ultimate load obtained by the finite element analysis is applied. It is noted that the ultimate load carrying capacities of parabolic arches are 6.929 tf/$m^2$ for the radial load case, and 8.057 tf/$m^2$ for the vertical load case. On the other hand, the ultimate load is drastically reduced as 2.659 tf/$m^2$ for the anti-symmetric load case. It is also shown that the maximum ultimate load occurs at the full ranging distributed load, however, the minimum ultimate loads of the radial and vortical load cases are obtained by 2.336 tf/$m^2$, 2.256 tf/$m^2$, respectively, when the partially distributed load is applied at the 40% range of full arch span.

PHC Pile의 허용지지력 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Decision of Allowable Bearing Capacity of PHC Piles)

  • 지금까지 말뚝기초의 이론적인 연구에 있어 수직하중을 받는 말뚝기초의 극한지지력을 산정하는 것에 초점이 맞추어져 왔으며, 이를 위한 다양한 종류의 정적 및 동적 지지력 공식들이 말뚝기초의 극한지지력 산정을 위해 제안된 바 있다. 그러나 이들 공식의 적합성은 아직 확실하게 정립되지 못한 실정이며, 정역학적 및 동역학적 공식에 의한 지지력의 신뢰도는 말뚝재하시험에 의하여 확인되어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 4개현장 12개소의 PHC Pile재하시험의 결과를 토대로 하여 정역학적 지지력 공식중의 하나인 Meyerhof공식과 동역학적 지지력공식중의 하나인 Hiley공식으로부터 산정된 두가지 극한지지력의 값과 비교\ulcorner분석하여 봄으로써, 설계시 허용지지력의 결정을 위해 사용되고 있는 각 공식의 적합성을 검토하여 보았다. 그 결과 표준관입시험의 N치를 적용한 Meyerhof공식에 의한 정역학적 방법에 있어 안전율 3.0을 적용함은 비교적 타당한 것으로 나타났고, 항타시험결과를 적용한 Hiley공식에 의한 방법에 있어 적용안전율을 5.0으로 조정함이 타당한 것으로 나타났으며, 추후 방대한 자료의 축적과 분석 및 연구를 통해 보다 합리적인 말뚝기초의 설계가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료되었다.

  • Large PHC piles with a diameter of 1,000mm or larger were recently introduced for the first time in Korea. This paper presents full-scale static and dynamic pile load tests performed on two 1,000mm PHC piles and two composite piles with steel pipe piles of the same diameter in the upper portion, installed by driving and pre-boring. The objectives of the tests include evaluating pile drivability, load-settlement relation, allowable bearing capacity, and the stability of mechanical splicing element for the composite pile(a.k.a. non-welding joint). The performance of the large diameter PHC piles were thought to be satisfactory compared to that of middle sized PHC piles with a long history of successful applications in the domestic and foreign markets.

  • 본 연구는 다단계 온도프리스트레싱 공법으로 보강된 합성보의 하중재하 실험 및 구조해석을 통하여 온도프리스트레싱 공법의 프리스트레스 도입효과와 단면증가효과를 평가하였다. 연구결과 온도프리스트레싱을 이용한 합성보의 보강공법은 온도프리스트레싱에 의한 프리스트레스 도입 뿐 아니라 커버플레이트의 설치에 의한 단면증가로 합성보의 처짐 또한 감소시킬 수 있으므로 합성보의 효율적인 보강공법으로 적용이 가능할 것이다.

  • The importance of process for repair and reinforcement of the bridge is increasing because of the lack of the fatigue load and stress, a lowering of the bridge load carrying capacity owing to impact and oscillation, deterioration on cultivation periods of the bridge, etc. Typically the experimenter values the bridge load carrying capacity by the real rating factor and response modification factor in bridge load rating through static load test and dynamic load test. But the error occurred in reliability of response modification factor in bridge load rating according to experience of experimenter. so tests of connecting probability theory and valuation of the bridge recently. The study is to compute the real load carrying capacity of the bridge and the rating factor and response modification factor on grade of the bridge, and calculate the probability of over-loaded truck load from Weigh In Motion(WIM) Data in FORTRAN programming applying to Monte-Carlo Simulation. At the result of this study, it is acquired that the new grade is computed for the probability of over-loaded truck load and surface inspection. The A grade is over 1.95, B grade is $1.55{\sim}1.94$, C grade is $1.26{\sim}1.54$, D grade is $1.14{\sim}1.25$, E grade is under 1.13 of rating factor, respectively.

말뚝의 정재하시험을 통한 현장시험 결과 분석 (A Comparative Study on Field Tests for Driven Pile in Static Load Tests)

  • In This paper, load-settlement curves that obtained from 11 sites were analyzed. At all tests, the load is applied until apparent failure is observed. The validity of the ultimate and yield load estimation method and load calculated from the settlement criterion was investigated through comparison with the measured data. The result indicated that B. Hansen 80% criterion and Stability Plot in ultimate loading decision law almost have been regared as same by comparing measured date and ultimate bearing capacity decided in depending yield loading decision law from 13% to 46% difference have taeyaeen came out when measured data and Davisson was compared, and S-log t from 5% to 41% log P-log S from 14% to 50% difference have been came out. When Settlement standard and measured data was compared difference had been came out about 3% in total settlement 0.1D criterion and from 12% to 35% difference had been came out in net settlement.

그라우팅 기법을 활용한 PHC 파일 기초의 지지력 증강 효과 연구 (A Study on Bearing Capacity Reinforcement for PHC Pile Foundation Using Post-grouting)

  • 본 연구에서는 매입식 PHC 기성말뚝에 대한 포스트 그라우팅 공법을 적용하고, 정재하 실험을 수행하여 포스트그라우팅 공법의 지지력 증강효과를 확인하였다. 그라우팅 압력은 1.9MPa 및 3.5MPa을 적용하였으며, 그라우팅을 수행하지 않은 미보강 말뚝과의 지지력을 비교하였다. 정재하 실험 결과를 바탕으로 PHC 말뚝의 지지력을 분석한 결과, 말뚝의 항복 하중은 약 3배 이상 증가하였으며 설계효율은 당초 32%에서 97%로 증가하였다. 또한, 그라우팅 공법을 적용한 말뚝의 축방향 강성은 그라우팅 주입압의 약 1.3배 비율로 증가하였다.

  • In this study, the variations of transformed impact factors and load carrying capacity of highway bridges measured from the state of expansion joint are evaluated. the field loading tests were performed on the highway bridge with damaged expansion joint to investigate the variation of the load carrying capacity. From the field loading tests in case that damaged expansion joint exist or do not exist, the static displacements and dynamic displacements were measured, and TIF were calculated, respectively. dynamic test is performed in order to estimate dynamic displacement and TIF according to the level of damage of expansion joint. From the results of TIF, the load carrying capacity of highway bridges with damaged expansion joint were estimated.

  • The estimation of pile bearing capacity is important since the design details are determined from the result. There are numerous ways of determining the pile design load, but only few of them are chosen in the actual design. According to the recent investigation in Korea, the formulas proposed by Meyerhof based on the SPT N values are most frequently chosen in the design stage. In the study, various static and dynamic formulas have been used in predicting the allowable bearing capacity of a pile. Further, the reliability of these formulas has been verified by comparing the perdicted values with the static and dynamic load test measurements. Also in cases, these methods of pile bearing capacity determination do not take the time effect consideration, the actual allowable load as determined from pile load test indicates severe deviation from the design value. The principle results of this study are summarized as follows : A a result of estimate the reliability in criterion of the Davisson method, in was showed that Terzaghi & Peck > Chin > Meyerhof > Modified Meyerhof method was the most reliable method for the prediction of bearing capacity. Comparisons of the various pile-driving formulas showed that Modified Engineering News was the most reliable method. However, a significant error happened between dynamic bearing capacity equation was judged that uncertainty of hammer efficiency, characteristics of variable , time effect etc... was not considered. As a result of considering time effect increased skin friction capacity higher than end bearing capacity. It was found out that it would be possible to increase the skin friction capacity 1.99 times higher than a driving. As a result of considering 7 day's time effect, it was obtained that Engineering News. Modified Engineering News.
