흡착식 소켓을 착용한 일측 대퇴절단환자의 소켓내부압력분포 (Socket Pressure Distribution of the Uni-Lateral Trans-Femoral Amputee with a Suction Socket)

  • A study on static and dynamic socket pressure distributions on a trans-femoral amputee with a suction socket was performed in order to assess an optimal socket fitting and function. Even for the amputee's static neutral position, pressure concentrations were observed in the lateral, medial, and posterior planes of the socket. During free walking, a significant movement of pressure concentration areas was observed. Large socket pressure was observed in the lateral, medial-anterior and posterior walls during mid-stance or push-off period. Socket pressure measurement will be one of the good tool to determine the optimal socket-limb interface.

  • This paper presents the error parameter estimation technique for IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit) which is core sensor of INS(Inertial Navigation System) and verifies it via laboratory test. Firstly the error characteristic of gyroscope and accelerometer which is contained in IMU is examined and the error modelling is executed. The error of IMU can be divided into deterministic and random part, and the deterministic error can be divided into static and dynamic part. This paper consider the random part as constant. Secondly the error parameter estimation technique and following procedure for laboratory test is explained. Thirdly according to the test procedure the IMU test for static error is executed using 2-axis rate table and estimation result is presented with discussion about its validity.

  • Using a cylindrical worm gear under the actual condition of static loading, tooth fillet strains and transmission errors have been measured. The maximum strain occurs on the filet region of the center of the 1st mating tooth. Tooth fillet strain changes most sensitively according to the variations of the center distance and recess side eccentricity than the access side eccentricity. Even the no-backlash worm gear shows the transmission errors.

  • In the industrial field the necessity of the linear motion is increasing. We selected a moving magnet coreless type LDM, which have the advantages, such as long stoke, brushless, no cogging force. Actually, the design is accomplished using FEM analysis for the basic configuration of a magnetic circuit, and characteristic equations for coil design. In the course of design, we have estimated airgap flux density and thrust. We fabricated coreless type LDM and experimented static test. We compared measurement values with FEM analysis values.

가스터빈 베인 끝벽의 열전달 특성 및 정압분포 측정 (Measurement of Heat Transfer and Pressure Distributions on a Gas Turbine Vane Endwall)

  • Heat transfer coefficients and static pressure distributions on a gas turbine vane endwall were experimentally investigated in a 5 bladed linear cascade. The Reynolds number based on an axial chord length and the cascade exit velocity was 500,000. Both heat transfer and pressure measurements on the vane endwall were made at the two different turbulence intensity levels of 6.8% and 10.8%. Detailed heat transfer coefficient distributions on the vane endwall region were measured using a hue detection based transient liquid crystals technique. Results show various regions of high and low heat transfer coefficients on the vane endwall surface due to several types of secondary flows and vortices. Heat transfer coefficient and endwall static pressure distributions showed similar trends for both turbulence intensity, however, the averaged heat transfer coefficients for higher turbulence intensity case was higher than the lower turbulence intensity case by 15%.

  • Dynamic measurements are used rather sparingly to determine the elastic moduli of rock cores and modulus values are not much utilized in design practices. The reason seems to result from the general perception that values obtained by dynamic measurement are much higher (about 10 time) than those determined statically. This paper presents results from dynamic and static tests on rock cores. One of the findings is that both moduli determined by statically and dynamically on a solid rock core agrees well at the same-strain. At different strain levels, the ratio between dynamic and static modult widely varies depending upon micro-cracks and discontinuites of rock cores.

  • We propose a current mode logic circuit design method for LTPS TFT for enhancing circuit operating speed. Current mode inverter/buffers with passive resistive load had been designed and fabricated. Measurement results indicated that the smaller logic swing of the current mode allowed significantly faster operation than the static CMOS. In order to reduce the chip size, both all pTFT and all nTFT active load current mode inverter/buffer had been designed and analyzed by HSPICE simulation. Even though the active load current mode circuits were inferior to the passive load circuits, it was superior to static CMOS gates.

  • The ESPI(Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry) is a real time, full-field, non-destructive optical measurement technique that allows static and dynamic deformation analysis and surface shape measurements of engineering structures. e .g. turbine blades. vehicle engine components, body panels, etc. This technique is very similar to holographic interferometry, but uses a solid static camera and an image processing board for recording and digital processing of speckle patterns. In this paper it is presented that FEM results for the free vibration of symmetrically laminated composite as [30/-30/90]s. The natural frequencies of laminated composite rectangular plates having the particular boundary condition are experimentally obtained. In order to demonstrate the validity of the experiment, FEM analysis using ANSYS was performed and natural frequencies experimentally obtained is compared with calculation by FEM analysis. The results obtained from both experiment and FEM analysis show a good agreement.

The Role of Corporate Image and Brand Personality in Global Consumer Choice: An Empirical Exploration

  • Purpose - This study aims to analyze consumer in the multidimensional aspect of a combination of corporate image and brand personality in order to identify the structural causal relationship between consumer choice and corporate image and brand personality. Design/methodology - This study combined theoretical literature studies with empirical field studies using questionnaire survey methods. To achieve this objective, a hypothetical causal model consisting of three potential variables and nine measurement variables was created based on prior research, and a structural equation model was used to identify the suitability of the model. Findings - The hypothetical model established by this study was judged to be generally appropriate. In particular, corporate image was shown to have significant static direct effects on consumer choice and brand personality. It was also shown that brand personality had a direct static effect on consumer choice, and that corporate image has an indirect significant impact on consumer choice by moderating brand personality. Originality/value - Previous papers have mainly focused on one-dimensional studies of various images, such as companies and brands. However, this paper used a model that analyzed consumer choice through multi-clue information rather than corporate images as the only clue to consumer choice.

  • In general, in order to operate an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) in an underwater environment, a navigation system such as a Doppler Log (DVL) using a Doppler phenomenon of ultrasonic waves is used for speed and direction estimation. However, most of the ultrasonic sensors in underwater is large for long-distance sensing and the cost is very high. In this study, not only canal neuromast on the fish's lateral lines but also superficial neuromast are studied on the simulation to obtain pressure values for each pressure sensor, and the obtained pressure data is supervised using spherical CNN. To this end, through supervised learning using pressure data obtained from a pressure sensor attached to an underwater vehicle, we can estimate the speed and angle of the underwater vehicle in a quasi-static underwater environment and propose a method for a non-ultrasonic based navigation system.
