고무 벨트식 무단변속기 시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of the Rubber Belt type CVT System)

  • CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) is one of the most promising candidates for the future automobile transmission because of its continuously variable gear ratio and reduced shift shock. It is also possible to operate the power source at its high efficiency region with CVT. The CVT system consists of thrust plate, driving pulley, belt, driven pulley, and preload spring of output shaft. In this paper, the dynamic modeling of a CVT system is completed to obtain the static performances of CVT system. A simulator is implemented on Matlab(Simulink), which can analyse the static performances of a CVT system. The methods for improving the total efficiency of a motorcycle system are also proposed based on the simulation results. In this study we increase the capacity factor of CVT up to the three times of default specification.

AISI 4140 강재의 재결정 제어변형 (Recrystallization Controlled Deformation of AISI 4140)

  • The static softening behavior of AISI 4140 could be characterized by the hot torsion test in the temperature ranges of 10$0^{\circ}C$~120$0^{\circ}C$ and strain rate ranges of 0.05/sec~5/sec. Deformation efficiency which was based on dynamic materials model was calculated from flow stress curves obtained continuous deformation. Interrupted deformation was performed with 2 pass deformation in the pass strain ranges of 0.25{{{{ epsilon _p}}}} ~3{{{{ epsilon _p}}}} and interrupted time ranges of 0.5~100sec. The dependences of process variables pass strain ({{{{ epsilon _i}}}}) stain rate ({{{{ {. } atop {$\varepsilon$ } }}}}) temperature (T) and interpass time ({{{{ {t }_{i } }}}}) on static recrystallization (SRX) and metadynamic recrystallization .(MDRX) could be indicidually predicted from the modified Avrami's equations. Comparison of the softening kinetics between MDRX and SRX showed that the rate of MDRX was more rapid than that of SRX for the same deformation variables. Controlled multipass deformations were performed using deformation efficiency static and metadynamic recrystallization of AISI 4140.

  • 본 연구에서는 격자 볼츠만 방법 중 Scalar Passive 코드를 사용하여 미소채널 내에서의 수동형 믹서의 혼합에 대하여 계산을 수행하였다. 미소채널 내에서의 수동형 믹서의 혼합에 대하여 유선과 압력분포를 통해 혼합과 압력 강하를 물리적으로 규명하였으며, 혼합에 영향을 주는 인자에 대해서 알아보았다. 수동형 믹서의 경우 고정물의 간격보다는 고정물의 개수와 고정물의 크기가 혼합효율과 압력강하에 큰 영향을 주었다.

  • 우리나라의 생명보험산업은 IMF 사태와 방카슈랑스의 도입 등 많은 변화를 겪어왔으며 앞으로 시행될 자본통합법의 시행도 추후에는 생명보험산업에 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 보이며 생명보험회사의 경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 효율성의 분석이 필수적이다. 본 논문은 DEA 모형을 이용하여 우리나라에서 영업 중인 생명보험회사들의 효율성을 분석했다. 이를 위해 투입변수는 두 가지 범주로 나누어서 분석을 시도하였고 동태적 효율성을 분석하기 위해서 DEA/WINDOW 모형을 도입하였다. 이를 통하여 생명보험회사들의 CCR, BCC, 규모효율성을 알 수 있었고 7년간(1998년$\sim$2004년)의 효율성의 추세와 안정성을 파악할 수 있었다.

Interrupted deformation was performed with 2 pass deformation in the pass strain ranges of 0.25$\varepsilon$p~3$\varepsilon$p and interrupted time ranges of 0.5~100sec. 리어가이더 선단각도에 따른 룸에어콘용 관류홴의 공력성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Aerodynamic Performance of a Cross-Flow Fan for the Various Leading Angles of a Rear-Guider for a Room Air-Conditioner)

  • Generally, the chassis of an indoor RAC is composed of a rear-guider and a stabilizer. The aerodynamic performance of a cross-flow fan is strongly influenced by the various design factors of the chassis of an indoor RAC. The purpose of this paper is to select the optimum design factors through the aerodynamic performance of a cross-flow fan. The design factors are the leading angle of a rear-guider (${\theta}_1$), a stabilizer setup angle(${\theta}_2$), a rear-guider clearance(${\epsilon}_1$), and a stabilizer clearance(${\epsilon}_2$), respectively. As a result, the optimum design factors of an indoor RAC can be presented as a combination of ${\theta}_1=33^{\circ}$, ${\theta}_2=55^{\circ}$, ${\epsilon}_1=6{\sim}8mm$, and ${\epsilon}_2=7mm$ through the analysis of a static pressure coefficient and a static pressure efficiency.

저자장 자기공명영상 시스템 내에서 초상자성 나노입자 온열치료를 위한 발열 평가 (Feasibility Study on Magnetic Nanoparticle Hyperthermia in Low Field MRI)

  • For the combination of MRI and magnetic particle hyperthermia(MPH), we investigated the relative heating efficiency with respect to the strength of the static magnetic field under which the magnetic nanoparticles are to be heated by RF magnetic field. We performed nanoparticle heating experiments at the fringe field of 3T MRI magnet with applying the RF magnetic field perpendicularly to the static magnetic field. The static field strengths were 0T, 0.1T, 0.2T, and 0.3T. To prevent the coil heat from conducting to the nanoparticle suspension, we cooled the heating solenoid coil with temperature-controlled water with applying heat insulators between the solenoid coil and the nanoparticle container. We observed significant decrease of heat generation, up to 6% at 0.3T(100% at 0T), due to the magnetic saturation of the nanoparticles of 15 nm diameter under the static field. We think MPH is still feasible at low magnetic field lower than 0.3T if stronger RF magnetic field generation is permitted.

제주계통의 무효전력보상을 위한 SVC와 STATCOM의 운전특성 비교 (The Comparison of Operating Characteristics of SVC and STATCOM for Compensating the Reactive Power in the Jeju Power System)

  • This paper presents a comparative operating characteristics of static var compensator(SVC) and static synchronous compensator(STATCOM) for compensating the reactive power in the Jeju power system. There are two kinds of reactive power compensating systems, which are active and passive system in the applications of the line commutated converter type high voltage direct current (LCC-HVDC). In the Jeju power system, two STATCOMs as active compensating system have been operating. Even though STATCOM has good performance compared with SVC, economical efficiency of former system is not good to the latter system. So, it is necessary to examine the performance and economical efficiency depend on the intention before appling the system. To compare the operating characteristics of two systems in the Jeju power system, simulations have been carried out for case studies that both of the HVDC system have transient state by using PSCAD/EMTDC program.

전압인가식 제전기의 방폭화에 관한 연구 (A study on the explosion proof by the electric discharge on voltage application type)

  • 정전기 방전으로 인한 재해방지, 생산효율의 향상, 정전기 방전에 민감한 전자소자의 보호를 위하여 각종 생산 공정에서는 정전기의 제전이 필요하다. 그래서 필름생산공장, 도장공장, 반도체 공장 등에서 이러한 정전기를 제거하기 위하여 제전기를 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전압인가식 제전기 bar의 길이, 동관의 길이 및 전극 간격을 변화시켜가면서 최적의 제전효율을 가지는 조건을 고찰하고, 이러한 조건에서 발생되는 방전에 의한 가연성 가스의 폭발 유무를 연구하였다. 그 결과 제전효율은 각각의 제전 bar에서 접지전극과 침상전극 사이의 간격이 8-11(mm)사이 일 때 최적의 제전효율을 나타내는 것을 알 수 있으며, 최적의 제전효율을 나타내는 bar에 대하여 가연성 가스의 폭발실험을 한 결과 폭발은 일어나지 않는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이상과 같이 본 연구를 통하여 나타난 결과를 이용하여 최적의 제전효율과 안전성을 가지는 방폭형 전압인가식 제전기 개발에 필요한 자료를 제시함으로써 산업현장에서 발생하는 가연성 가스에 의한 폭발사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • Three-dimensional experimental analysis was conducted in the pulverizer simplified isothermal model. The experiment model was constructed on a 1/3.5 scale of 500MW pulverizer. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of design parameters on the pulverized coal separator efficiency. Where used pulverized coal separator design parameters are guide vane angle, static classifier angle, dynamic classifier rpm. Taguchi method was used to find the effective design parameters related to pulverized coal separator efficiency. The results of the experiment showed that guide vane angle and dynamic classifier rpm were the design key parameters. In addition to the total number of experiment cases were reduced by Taguchi method.
