BPM에서 업무할당방식이 업무효율성에 미치는 영향 (Analysis of Business Process Efficiency Based on Task assignments)

  • This paper purposes analyzing how task assignments influence on business process efficiency, and improving business process efficiency in Business Process Management (BPM) environments. For this purpose, task assignment is categorized into dynamic assignment and static assignment. Dynamic assignment binds a user to a task at process run-time, whereas static assignments assigns a task to a user at process build-time. So far, the influence of task assignment methods has not been studied. We, in this paper, analyze the business process efficiency using two different assigning rule, in terms of cycle time as a efficiency measure. The comparison result can provide a guideline for a company who wants to employ commercial BPM systems.

DEA를 활용한 SW 국가연구개발사업 효율성 분석 (Analysis of the Efficiency of National SW R&D Projects Using DEA)

  • 4차 산업혁명의 핵심 동인으로서 Software(이하 SW)의 중요성이 더욱 커짐에 따라, 정부는 국가 경쟁력 강화를 위해 SW R&D 투자를 늘리고 SW 관련 정책을 지속적으로 수립하고 있다. 하지만 SW 연구개발에 대한 정부의 지속적인 투자에 비해, SW 연구개발 투자성과에 대한 체계적 분석은 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) 기법을 이용하여 SW 국가연구개발 사업의 분야별 효율성을 분석하였다. 2008년~2018년까지 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)에서 수행된 1,463개 과제정보를 토대로 효율성을 정태적/동태적 관점에서 측정하였다. 정태적 관점의 규모효율성 측정을 통해 비효율성 원인을 규모와 기술문제로 분석하였다. DEA/Window 모형을 이용한 동태적 효율성 분석 결과를 제시하고 효율성-안정성 매트릭스를 이용해 분야별 대응 모델을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 SW 국가연구 개발사업 전체를 대상으로 효율성 분석을 수행했다는 점에 의의가 있으며, 정태적/동태적 효율성 분석결과는 향후 SW 국가연구개발사업 기획 시 기초자료로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

A hybrid 8-node hexahedral element for static and free vibration analysis

  • An 8 node assumed stress hexahedral element with rotational degrees of freedom is proposed for static and free vibration analyses. The element formulation is based directly on an 8-node element. This direct formulation requires fewer computations than a similar element that is derived from an internal 20-node element in which the midside degrees of freedom are eliminated by expressing them in terms of displacements and rotations at corner nodes. The formulation is based on Hellinger-Reissner variational principle. Numerical examples are presented to show the validity and efficiency of the present element for static and free vibration analysis.

An assumed-stress finite element for static and free vibration analysis of Reissner-Mindlin plates

  • An assumed stress quadrilateral thin/moderately thick plate element HQP4 based on the Mindlin/Reissner plate theory is proposed. The formulation is based on Hellinger-Reissner variational principle. Static and free vibration analyses of plates are carried out. Numerical examples are presented to show that the validity and efficiency of the present element for static and free vibration analysis of plates. Satisfactory accuracy for thin and moderately thick plates is obtained and it is free from shear locking for thin plate analysis.

Transformer-Reuse Reconfigurable Synchronous Boost Converter with 20 mV MPPT-Input, 88% Efficiency, and 37 mW Maximum Output Power

  • This paper presents a transformer-based reconfigurable synchronous boost converter. The lowest maximum power point tracking (MPPT)-input voltage and peak efficiency of the proposed boost converter, 20 mV and 88%, respectively, were achieved using a reconfigurable synchronous structure, static power loss minimization design, and efficiency boost mode change (EBMC) method. The proposed reconfigurable synchronous structure for high efficiency enables both a transformer-based self-startup mode (TSM) and an inductor-based MPPT mode (IMM) with a power PMOS switch instead of a diode. In addition, a static power loss minimization design, which was developed to reduce the leakage current of the native switch and quiescent current of the control blocks, enables a low input operation voltage. Furthermore, the proposed EBMC method is able to change the TSM into IMM with no additional time or energy loss. A prototype chip was implemented using a $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS process, and operates within an input voltage range of 9 mV to 1 V, and an output voltage range of 1 V to 3.3 V, and provides a maximum output power of 37 mW.

증기가 분사된 축류형 터빈의 성능해석에 관한 연구 (Study on the Performance Analysis of an Axial-Type Turbine with Steam Injection)

  • Performance analysis is conducted on an axial-type turbine which is used for fire extinction by injecting water or steam into the turbine. Loss models developed by Hacker and Okapuu are applied for predicting the performance of turbine. Pressure loss generated through a turbine is converted to the thermal efficiency, and thermal and gas properties are calculated within a turbine passage. Total-to-total efficiency, total-to-static efficiency, static temperature at the exit of turbine, output power, flow coefficient, blade loading coefficient, and expansion ratio are predicted with changing the amount of injected steam and the rotational speed. The 74 kW class gas turbine developed at KIMM is chosen for performance analysis. The 74 kW class turbine consists of 1 stage like a current developing gas turbine for fire extinction. Water or steam is injected at the end of combustor, and results show that efficiency and output power are dependent on the temperature of injected water or steam and the static temperature at the exit is decreased.

국가연구개발사업 질적 효율성의 동태적 분석 (Dynamic Analysis of National R&D Projects' Qualitative Efficiency)

  • Korea's R&D investment has significantly increased in recent years. However, the efficiency of R&D investment is still in question. In order to examine the ways to improve the efficiency of R&D investment, this paper presents dynamic analysis on both quantitative and qualitative efficiency of R&D projects. A Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)/Window method is used to analyze static and dynamic efficiencies of Industrial Material R&D projects in Korea from 2012 to 2016. As a result, statistically significant differences between quantitative and qualitative efficiency have been found. It has been observed that characteristics of Decision Making Units(DMUs) have an impact on both static and dynamic efficiencies. In particular, textile and ceramic projects showed relatively stable qualitative efficiency for a short-term perspective, while steel and chemical projects showed such stability for a long-term perspective. Among the types of project principals, universities showed relatively stable efficiency, compared with private sectors and research institutes. The results of this paper can be used as a guideline to manage the performance and stability of R&D projects' efficiency.

Beta 방사선원을 이용한 정전기 제거법에 대한 고찰 (A study on the elimination of static electricity by use of beta radiation source)

  • This experiment is based on "the feasible improvement studies for an eliminating device of the static electricity which applies the ionizing effect of beta radiation." In order to accomplish this object, the following problems were necessarily considered to investigate and to determine. The efficiency of the elimination of static electricity was determined by means of measuring the ion current between electrically charged plates with micro-ammeter. The effects of various factors, i.e., the distance between charged plate and radiation source, the activity of radiation source, the electric otential and the area of the charged plate, the shape of the source housing, the lining of backscattering material (Pb) on the source housing surface and blowing of ionized air, on the static electricity eliminating efficiency were studied. The beta radiation sources used in this experiment were S$^{35}$ and Sr$^{90}$ -Y$^{90}$ . It was revealed that ion current increased with source activity, the electric potential and area of the plates, the lead (Pb) lining on the surface of the source housing and the velocity of the ionized air blowing. As one could expect the S$^{35}$ was more effective to increase the ion current since it is known to be a higher specific ionization source than Sr$^{90}$ -Y$^{90}$ . DEA-Malmquist 지수를 이용한 중국 환경효율에 관한 평가 연구 (Research on Eco-efficiently Evaluation of China Based on DEA-Malmquist Index)

  • 본 연구는 중국 30개 성시를 연구 대상으로 하여 정태적, 동태적 두 가지 각도에서 연구의 시발점으로 하였으며, DEA-BCC 모델과 Malmquist 지수를 사용하여 2011~2020년 중국 30개 성시의 환경 효율성을 산정하였다. 연구에 따르면 중국 30개 성시의 정태 환경 효율성은 평균 0.643으로 전국 범위에서 뚜렷한 차이를 보인다. Beijing, Shanghai는 환경 효율성이 유효하고 나머지 28개 성시는 모두 차원이 다른 비효율 상태를 가지고 있다. 구역발전에서도 차별성이 있어 전반적으로 동고서저형 공간 구도를 보인다. 전국 30개 성시의 환경 효율성인 Malmquist 지수는 상승하는 성장세를 보이며 기술진보가 주요한 추진력이 된다. 향후 정책에서는 동부지역의 방사선 견인능력을 높이고 각 구역 간 시너지를 강화하여 구역 우위를 충분히 발휘해야 할 것이다. 그리고 산업구조 최적화, 과학기술 수준 제고, 전국 환경 효율성의 상승을 견인하여 녹색 발전을 실현한다.

사이드스트림 오존 접촉조에서 수처리 효율 향상을 위한 정적혼합기와 미세기포에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Static mixer and Microbubble of the Sidestream Ozone Contact System to Improve Water Treatment Efficiency)

  • Ozone is a strong oxidant and a powerful disinfectant. In general, it has been used in drinking water treatment during last 100years. Ozone dissolution features are defined by the two categories of ozone contactors, bubble-diffuser and sidestream ozone contactor. Currently, sidestream-injection systems are gaining in popularity but operating cost might be slightly higher. Sidestream ozone system dissolve ozone into a sidestream flow via an injection setup or in the main process flow stream in some sidestream arrangements. The sidestream flow is subsequently mixed with the main process flow stream, which is directed to a reation tank or pipeline for oxidation and disinfection reactions. The purpose of this study is to suggest optimal operating pressure, to figure out the static-mixer effect and to understand the microbubble characteristics of ozone to improve dissolution efficiency.
