기술창업교육캠프 참가 대학생의 창업역량 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change in Start-up Competence of College Students Participating in Technology Start-up Education Camp)

  • It was only 2010 when start-up education spread to undergraduate education in South Korea. Start-up education was conducted so late that there are insufficient studies of evaluation and feedback on the effectiveness of start-up education. Education is a complex concept of teaching people in a desirable direction and developing their inherent abilities. Based on this, start-up education can be defined as cultivating students' entrepreneurial spirit internally and making them exhibit start-up competence externally by teaching them the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for business start-up and developing abilities such as creativity, challenge spirit and problem-solving skills. This study conducted pre and post survey to check if the education camp for the technology start-up, which is a practice-oriented start-up education, has an effect on the change of the participating students' perceptions about the business start-up. This study would analyze various factors of college students' business start-up through a factorial analysis so that the quantitative accumulation of start-up education can lead to a qualitative change and propose measures for the management of the quality of the education.

과학기술특성화대학 재학생의 지식재산과 창업에 대한 인식과 교육요구도 분석 : KAIST 학부생을 중심으로 (A Study on Analysis of KAIST Students' Perceptions of Intellectual Property and Start-ups and Educational Needs)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze KAIST students' perceptions of intellectual property and start-ups and educational needs. In this study, literature research, interviews, and surveys were conducted, and 5 students participated in the interview, and 202 students participated in the survey. Students had similar perceptions of intellectual property and start-up education. KAIST students had very little experience in intellectual property and start-up-related education in middle, high schools and universities. In particular, most students highly recognized the importance of intellectual property and start-up education, but recognized that the importance was low in their career path. Therefore, students were also less willing to participate in intellectual property and start-up-related education in the future. Students demanded the highest education on 'patent management' in intellectual property-related competencies, and the highest demand for 'start-up idea derivation ability' in start-up-related competencies.

It is important to analyze and offer specialized start-ups effect factors for collegians in order to systematically and successfully support technology-centered start-ups of collegians. Through which Entrepreneurship and job creation in developed countries. This study explores the current status and characteristics of Entrepreneurship education in Korea and suggests some directions for effective management of Entrepreneurship education.

Startup Engineering Education Programs in Niigata University: How to Integrate Knowledge to Solve Engineering Problems

  • Faculty of engineering, Niigata University has been executing start-up engineering education programs for the first-year students to educate his or her ability to solve engineering problems. They are divided into teams and tackle a task that they expect to easily accomplish. The expected results are hardly obtained. Then they try to seek the gap between the results and their knowledge. They analyze the phenomena and improve the approach. They evaluate the results of second trial and the effectiveness of the measures. That is, the project requires so-called PDCA cycles for students to solve engineering problems. The start-up engineering project is one of the compulsory subjects and seven departments have given the students several tasks based on their technicality. The students exchange their knowledge, ideas and learn how to use knowledge to solve the problems. Their reports and questionnaire survey proved that the projects are highly effective to improve his or her ability to solve engineering problems and give them strong motivation to learn engineering. We introduce the some tasks and the outcomes of the projects set by seven departments; mechanical and production engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, information engineering, biocybernetics, chemistry and chemical engineering, civil engineering and architecture, and material science and engineering.

  • In the past, manufacturing-oriented industries focused on improving labor productivity to achieve economic growth. Korea is changing from a labor-intensive industry to a technology-intensive industry in order to occupy a competitive edge compared to other countries. Recently, a lot of investment has been made not only in technology-intensive industries but also in information industries. Therefore, it is developing in various forms such as special technology, platform industry, and virtual reality as a technology-intensive industry and information industry field. In this social phenomenon, the necessity of starting a business using new ideas and technologies is increasing. Therefore, universities also need entrepreneurship education for their students, and it is necessary to investigate how the contents of the university's start-up education support, individual achievement needs, and the degree of acquisition of start-up knowledge affect the establishment of business strategies necessary for start-ups.

IPA분석을 통한 창업보육센터 입주기업의 지원 방향 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Support Direction for Start-up Company in Incubation Center through IPA Analysis: Focusing on the Youth Cube in Ansan)

  • In order to support start-ups effectively with limited resources, it is necessary to provide support tailored to start-up companies. Businesses that are operating in local incubation centers may have different demands for the support depending on the region characteristics. This study was worked on companies that have entered into the incubation center 'Youth Cube', which is operated by Ansan City. We investigated the perception of importance in the field of support to identify support policy priorities, and the satisfaction level of each field of support currently supported. Then We conducted an IPA analysis to derive the direction of support. The Ansan area has regional characteristics that it is located in the metropolitan area with well-equipped start-up infrastructure and many innovative institutions, As a result of the importance survey, technology commercialization was recognized as the most important, and education/mentoring was recognized as the least important. Satisfaction with the space and facilities that can be used free of charge was the highest, and the satisfaction was the lowest for entrepreneurship education/mentoring, as was the degree of importance. In addition, according to each quadrant, we derived support that should be maintained, support that should be intensively improved, support that should be given a low policy priority, and support directions that should be kept in mind to avoid excessive support.

전략적 성과 창출을 위한 캡스톤디자인 운영모델 개발 (Development Capstone Design Operation Model for Strategic Achievement)

  • Capstone design is a very important college course that enhances students' creativity and skills. However, in most universities, the operation of capstone design is operated by the experience and intuition of the advisor, and it is somewhat lacking in the generation of useful results such as patent rights and technology start-up from the capstone design result. In this study, we proposed a performance - based capstone design operation model through patent linkage so that the capstone design class can create creative and useful results. The proposed operating model includes support for research on prior art of patent information utilization, patent right of idea, and technology commercialization. The proposed operating model was directly applied to the capstone design class in the university, and it was confirmed that useful results such as expansion of the scope of the research achievement and technology start - up were created compared to the existing operation model.

Gallop-Vegas: An Enhanced Slow-Start Mechanism for TCP Vegas

  • In this article, we present a new slow-start variant, which improves the throughput of transmission control protocol (TCP) Vegas. We call this new mechanism Gallop-Vegas because it quickly ramps up to the available bandwidth and reduces the burstiness during the slow-start phase. TCP is known to send bursts of packets during its slow-start phase due to the fast window increase and the ACK-clock based transmission. This phenomenon causes TCP Vegas to change from slow-start phase to congestion-avoidance phase too early in the large bandwidth-delay product (BDP) links. Therefore, in Gallop-Vegas, we increase the congestion window size with a rate between exponential growth and linear growth during slow-start phase. Our analysis, simulation results, and measurements on the Internet show that Gallop-Vegas significantly improves the performance of a connection, especially during the slow-start phase. Furthermore, it is implementation feasible because only sending part needs to be modified.

청년창업자의 기업가정신과 내적 통제소재가 창업성공 가능성에 미치는 영향 (An Effects of Youth Founder's Entrepreneurship and Internal Locus of Control on Possibility of Start-up Success)

  • 창업자의 기업가정신과 심리특성은 창업성공을 위한 매우 중요한 요인이다. 이와 같은 중요성을 인식하고, 본 연구는 창업자의 기업가정신과 심리특성이 창업성공에 미치는 영향관계를 고찰하였다. 이를 위하여 중소기업 진흥공단에서 설립 운영하는 청년창업사관학교에 입교한 청년창업자를 대상으로 조사한 설문지 122부를 실증 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 창업자의 진취성, 위험감수성, 자율성으로 구성된 기업가정신과 심리 특성인 내적 통제소재가 모두 창업성공에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과에 따라, 다음과 같이 이론적 실무적 시사점을 제공하였다. 첫째, 창업성공 관점에서 기업가정신의 중요성을 인식하고, 창업을 구상하는 예비창업자들은 자신의 기업가정신을 가름해 보고 의사결정 하는 것이 바람직할 것이다. 둘째, 청년창업자들의 기업가정신을 고취시키기 위한 보다 효과적인 창업교육이 될 수 있도록 심혈을 기울여야 한다. 따라서 창업 보육기관들은 '기업가정신 훈련 프로그램'과 같은 교육과정을 개발해 나갈 필요가 있다. 셋째, 기업가정신이나 심리적 특성은 유 소아기 부터 형성되기 때문에 가정의 역할 또한 매우 중요함을 인식해야만 한다. 넷째, 창업자 스스로도 기업가정신을 강화시키기 위한 노력이 필요하다. 마지막으로, 창업자의 내적 통제소재를 강화시켜야 한다. 따라서 창업자 자신은 물론 창업 보육기관에서도 이에 대한 깊은 관심을 가져야만 한다.

창업교육이 중국대학생의 창업의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Entrepreneurship Education on the Entrepreneurship Intention of Chinese University Students)

  • 최근 몇 년 사이 대학생들이 중국 혁신과 창업의 주역으로 부상하고 있다. 본 논문은 TPB 이론을 바탕으로 창업 교육 변수를 도입하고 대학생을 대상으로 한 창업 교육이 창업 의욕에 미치는 영향 모델을 구축하였다. 본 논문에서는 행동 태도, 주관적 규범, 인지적 행동조절, 기업가정신 교육 및 기업가적 의도 등 5가지 변수가 포함된 설문을 활용하여 중국 길림성에 소재한 6개 대학의 학생들을 대상으로 조사하였고 SPSS23.0을 사용하여 통계분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과 계획된 행동 이론의 세 가지 요소인 행동 태도, 주관적 규범, 인지적 행동조절과 비교했을 때 대학생들의 기업가정신 교육이 기업가적 의도에 가장 큰 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 논문은 대학에서 창업 교육을 강화하는 데 선도적 의의가 있다. 본 연구는 길림성 소재 6개 대학 학생들만을 대상으로 한 것으로 연구결과를 일반화하기위해서는 향후 중국 전역으로 연구범위를 확장할 필요가 있다.
