The study on Analysis of factors of restaurant start-ups using big data

  • The restaurant industry is an industry with low entry barriers, and furthermore, it is an indispensable industry in life. However, for the restaurant industry, it is necessary to start a business considering many factors. In particular, the comparative group for each restaurant industry is different, and the commercial area analysis should be analyzed differently. Moreover, counseling for restaurant start-ups is still sticking to how to start a restaurant by meeting with each franchise supervisor or counselor. Therefore, a restaurant start-up chatbot is needed for prospective restaurant founders, and a food tech chatbot is needed to collect basic data. Therefore, in this study, factors for restaurant start-ups were divided into youth, preliminary start-ups, menus, taste, and food. In the case of restaurant start-ups with low entry barriers, it was confirmed as the most preferred start-up by young people. However, indiscriminate restaurant start-ups not only increase the closing rate but also have a significant impact on household debt, so accurate consulting should be used to lower the closing rate and increase the success rate. Furthermore, theories and measures for food technologies such as chatbots should be further developed to obtain accurate information on franchise start-ups.

Effectiveness Analysis of Startup Support Policy of Early Start-ups: Moderating Effect of the Industry and Growth Stage of the Start-ups (초기 창업기업 창업지원정책의 효과성 분석: 창업업종 및 창업성장단계 조절효과)

  • This study was proceeded to empirically identify the start-up support policy as an element that affects the performance of the early start-ups and measure the effectiveness of the current start-up support policy, in order to suggest the direction future policies according to the study. To accomplish this the influence of the start-up support policy on the early start-ups was analyzed, and the differences according to the industry and growth stage of the start-ups, as the characteristics of the start-ups, were identified. The research subjects collected real data of 297 start-ups of the past three years that were selected for the Initial Start-Up Package project, and performed multiple regression analysis on the influence between variables, and hierarchical regression analysis on moderating effects. The summary of the study is as follows. First, as a result of identifying the influential relationship between the start-up support policy and the performance of the start-up, sales had made a significant impact on the start-up fund, start-up mentoring, and start-up infrastructure(space), while start-up education failed to show a significant effect on the increase in sales. In terms of employment, start-up mentoring was the only field that showed a significant influential relationship. Second, as a result of identifying the moderating effect of the start-up's industry and growth stage, the industry did not have a statistically significant influence, but the interactive effect was seen in start-up education. To be more specific in terms of the sales relationship of each industry, knowledge services turned out to be helpful in improving sales, while manufacturing turned out to be effective in improving sales regardless of being supported with start-up mentoring and start-up infrastructure (space). The sales relationship regarding the start-up growth stage was identified to be statistically significant. The preliminary stage was not statistically significant, while providing start-up mentoring and start-up funding were effective for start-up stage and growing stage, respectively. On the other hand, employment did not perform a significant influence on the start-up growth stage. This study analyzes the effectiveness the start-up support policy for early start-ups, identifies the need in differentiated support policies according to the characteristics of the start-ups, and suggests implications for the direction in which future policies should be made towards.

  • In the restaurant industry, along with the fourth industry, there is a food technology craze due to IT development. In addition, many prospective restaurant founders are increasing due to restaurant start-ups with relatively low entry barriers. And ChatGPT is causing a craze for chatbots. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze factors for restaurant start-ups with big data and implement a system to make it easier for prospective restaurant start-ups to recommend restaurant start-ups that suit them and further increase the success rate for restaurant start-ups. Therefore, this paper is meaningful in analyzing the start-up factors desired by prospective restaurant founders with big data, turning them into text, and furthermore, designing and studying the start-up factors shown as big data into a restaurant start-up chatbot system.

  • We would like to find out how restaurant start-up education affects restaurant start-ups. Recently, as low barriers to entry and endemics are approaching, more and more people want to start a restaurant business. However, while the market size of restaurant start-ups increases due to the high youth unemployment rate and changes in the social population structure, the probability of failure of start-ups is increasing due to the high competition rate. Therefore, this study aims to examine whether restaurant start-up education affects restaurant start-ups through entrepreneurship. This study conducted a survey on prospective start-ups. After that, demographic analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 23.0 program. As a result, it was found that entrepreneurship had an effect on restaurant start-ups. However, in future studies, more research is needed on the direction of improving and developing restaurant start-up education.

  • This study tried to examine the factors that affect the entrepreneurial intentions in the field of culture and tourism industry. Through this, it was attempted to present strategic implications for start-up plans to prospective entrepreneurs in the cultural tourism industry. As a result of the study, the following implications were drawn. First, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry need to analyze the start-up items they want to start and systematically design a start-up plan based on market research. Also, by analyzing various start-up cases, it is necessary to secure various prior experiences of failure and success. Second, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry will need to increase their interest in starting a business by completing various entrepreneurship education conducted by more diverse institutions and schools than now, and they will have to increase the sense of achievement and willpower that can appear in education. In addition, by making efforts to create human relationships through various entrepreneurship education, efforts should be made to show the utilization of human networks and information sharing when starting a business. Lastly, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry should visit startup-related institutions and receive education and advice from experts in order to acquire various information. In addition, efforts should be made to provide more diverse start-up support by obtaining information on start-ups implemented by the state.

  • Although the start-up companies in the manufacturing industry have a great job creation effect, there is a lack of research on start-up and development in the manufacturing industry. Using a sample of 201 in manufacturing start-up companies, we proposed that founder's experience and technical competencies will positively influence performance in manufacturing star-up companies. We also proposed that founder's technical competence will mediate the relationship between founder's experience and performance. The results of this study supported most of our hypotheses, implying that founder's experience and technical competence could be crucial especially in the beginning stage of manufacturing start-up companies.

  • In the past, manufacturing-oriented industries focused on improving labor productivity to achieve economic growth. Korea is changing from a labor-intensive industry to a technology-intensive industry in order to occupy a competitive edge compared to other countries. Recently, a lot of investment has been made not only in technology-intensive industries but also in information industries. Therefore, it is developing in various forms such as special technology, platform industry, and virtual reality as a technology-intensive industry and information industry field. In this social phenomenon, the necessity of starting a business using new ideas and technologies is increasing. Therefore, universities also need entrepreneurship education for their students, and it is necessary to investigate how the contents of the university's start-up education support, individual achievement needs, and the degree of acquisition of start-up knowledge affect the establishment of business strategies necessary for start-ups.

  • This study drew a conclusion about the current situation and the trend of start-up in Korea by understanding the convenience of start-up and startup outcome(business satisfaction and income after startup) by year, and by analyzing the trend of the convenience of start-up by each detail items and by industry. In addition to, the key factors of successful business start-up are demonstrated by synthetically examining how the factors influence the outcome of startup, including human capital, business characteristics, economic feature, and situational/institutional characteristics, as well as demographic characteristics. According to the result, business satisfaction after startup by year and business income have gradually increased from 2005, but the convenience of start-up has constantly decreased. Based on the industry, the convenience of start-up shows a statistical significance. Lastly, the factors that influence the outcome of business start-up are complexly turned up as human capital, business characteristics, economic feature, and situational/institutional characteristics, as well as demographic characteristics.

  • This study tried to identify the characteristics of college students' entrepreneurial intentions in the entertainment industry, focusing on existing literature studies. Based on this, it was intended to suggest realistic educational alternatives for university student start-ups and implications for start-up management to university start-up officials and those in charge of national start-up support policy. Therefore, the implications of this study are as follows. First, technology(item) for idea creation education, which is an essential element in the entertainment industry, how to connect ideas and products, technology methods that can increase content value, and user characteristics education within the entertainment industry will need to be continued. In addition, along with the idea education, it is necessary to increase the understanding of start-up business management such as financing, human resource management, marketing, and operation management, and furthermore, confidence education should be provided so that the possibility of success in an entertainment start-up and a sense of adventure in a new job can be developed. Second, the space and equipment necessary for start-up (club room, student start-up room, entertainment-related equipment, etc.) should be provided centering on the opinion survey of students who are interested in starting a business, and various regulations of universities and government for student start-up should be relaxed. will have to In addition, education for the formation of entrepreneurial knowledge inside and outside of the school, special lectures and consultations by experts, and on-the-spot education, etc., should be made to create more practical entrepreneurial knowledge. something to do. Third, for students wishing to start a business in the entertainment industry, it is necessary to inform their families about the field situation of the entertainment industry accurately so that their children can develop a positive perception rather than a negative perception when choosing a business field. Fourth, it should be possible to form continuous clubs or gatherings with friends who wish to start a business in the entertainment industry, and furthermore, an opportunity to listen to the opinions of friends who actually started a business through these meetings should be provided. In addition, the meeting and the formation of friends should create a place for discussion about writing a business plan, how to succeed in starting a business, and management of startups, and psychological stimulation activities should be conducted so that each other's will to start a business arises. Fifth, various knowledge related to start-up (methods for securing funds, management of start-up organizations, grasping information about the market in which they want to start a business, etc.) should be cultivated, and how to write a business plan for the various entertainment industry fields they want to start up. You will also need to train them to be practical. Also, based on this knowledge formation, students themselves should be able to respond to risks and changes that may occur in entrepreneurship. Lastly, it is necessary to increase the understanding of business start-up management, and various psychological stimulation activities are needed to make the confidence and fear of starting a business disappear.

  • Recently, many policies and fairs have been made in relation to start-ups. In addition, various start-up education for prospective start-ups is being conducted in various ways. Therefore, these days, the number of prospective start-ups who receive such information and start-up education is increasing. Nevertheless, more and more start-ups are still unsuccessful and close their businesses within months or years. In particular, start-ups who continue to maintain their start-ups also see the unfortunate reality of start-ups that find other jobs in various support systems and related policies and relationships that they cannot quit even if they want to. In this study, based on previous studies, factors for satisfaction with entrepreneurship education will be set and a questionnaire will be conducted for prospective entrepreneurs who have completed education at a startup education center in Seoul. The survey results are intended to verify their reliability and validity through empirical analysis. The SPSS statistical package will be used for analysis, and a total of 200 copies of the questionnaire will be distributed and collected. In this study, it was confirmed that the higher the satisfaction with entrepreneurship education, the better the successful entrepreneurship. In addition, I think that further developing various policies or detailed curriculums for entrepreneurship education will be of great help to prospective entrepreneurs taking entrepreneurship education.
