The study on Analysis of factors of restaurant start-ups using big data

  • The restaurant industry is an industry with low entry barriers, and furthermore, it is an indispensable industry in life. However, for the restaurant industry, it is necessary to start a business considering many factors. In particular, the comparative group for each restaurant industry is different, and the commercial area analysis should be analyzed differently. Moreover, counseling for restaurant start-ups is still sticking to how to start a restaurant by meeting with each franchise supervisor or counselor. Therefore, a restaurant start-up chatbot is needed for prospective restaurant founders, and a food tech chatbot is needed to collect basic data. Therefore, in this study, factors for restaurant start-ups were divided into youth, preliminary start-ups, menus, taste, and food. In the case of restaurant start-ups with low entry barriers, it was confirmed as the most preferred start-up by young people. However, indiscriminate restaurant start-ups not only increase the closing rate but also have a significant impact on household debt, so accurate consulting should be used to lower the closing rate and increase the success rate. Furthermore, theories and measures for food technologies such as chatbots should be further developed to obtain accurate information on franchise start-ups.

  • This study tried to examine the factors that affect the entrepreneurial intentions in the field of culture and tourism industry. Through this, it was attempted to present strategic implications for start-up plans to prospective entrepreneurs in the cultural tourism industry. As a result of the study, the following implications were drawn. First, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry need to analyze the start-up items they want to start and systematically design a start-up plan based on market research. Also, by analyzing various start-up cases, it is necessary to secure various prior experiences of failure and success. Second, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry will need to increase their interest in starting a business by completing various entrepreneurship education conducted by more diverse institutions and schools than now, and they will have to increase the sense of achievement and willpower that can appear in education. In addition, by making efforts to create human relationships through various entrepreneurship education, efforts should be made to show the utilization of human networks and information sharing when starting a business. Lastly, prospective entrepreneurs in the field of culture and tourism industry should visit startup-related institutions and receive education and advice from experts in order to acquire various information. In addition, efforts should be made to provide more diverse start-up support by obtaining information on start-ups implemented by the state.

  • In the restaurant industry, along with the fourth industry, there is a food technology craze due to IT development. In addition, many prospective restaurant founders are increasing due to restaurant start-ups with relatively low entry barriers. And ChatGPT is causing a craze for chatbots. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze factors for restaurant start-ups with big data and implement a system to make it easier for prospective restaurant start-ups to recommend restaurant start-ups that suit them and further increase the success rate for restaurant start-ups. Therefore, this paper is meaningful in analyzing the start-up factors desired by prospective restaurant founders with big data, turning them into text, and furthermore, designing and studying the start-up factors shown as big data into a restaurant start-up chatbot system.

  • This study drew a conclusion about the current situation and the trend of start-up in Korea by understanding the convenience of start-up and startup outcome(business satisfaction and income after startup) by year, and by analyzing the trend of the convenience of start-up by each detail items and by industry. In addition to, the key factors of successful business start-up are demonstrated by synthetically examining how the factors influence the outcome of startup, including human capital, business characteristics, economic feature, and situational/institutional characteristics, as well as demographic characteristics. According to the result, business satisfaction after startup by year and business income have gradually increased from 2005, but the convenience of start-up has constantly decreased. Based on the industry, the convenience of start-up shows a statistical significance. Lastly, the factors that influence the outcome of business start-up are complexly turned up as human capital, business characteristics, economic feature, and situational/institutional characteristics, as well as demographic characteristics.

  • This study tried to identify the characteristics of college students' entrepreneurial intentions in the entertainment industry, focusing on existing literature studies. Based on this, it was intended to suggest realistic educational alternatives for university student start-ups and implications for start-up management to university start-up officials and those in charge of national start-up support policy. Therefore, the implications of this study are as follows. First, technology(item) for idea creation education, which is an essential element in the entertainment industry, how to connect ideas and products, technology methods that can increase content value, and user characteristics education within the entertainment industry will need to be continued. In addition, along with the idea education, it is necessary to increase the understanding of start-up business management such as financing, human resource management, marketing, and operation management, and furthermore, confidence education should be provided so that the possibility of success in an entertainment start-up and a sense of adventure in a new job can be developed. Second, the space and equipment necessary for start-up (club room, student start-up room, entertainment-related equipment, etc.) should be provided centering on the opinion survey of students who are interested in starting a business, and various regulations of universities and government for student start-up should be relaxed. will have to In addition, education for the formation of entrepreneurial knowledge inside and outside of the school, special lectures and consultations by experts, and on-the-spot education, etc., should be made to create more practical entrepreneurial knowledge. something to do. Third, for students wishing to start a business in the entertainment industry, it is necessary to inform their families about the field situation of the entertainment industry accurately so that their children can develop a positive perception rather than a negative perception when choosing a business field. In addition, by promoting various successful cases of college students to their families after starting a business, families should be encouraged so that their children can develop a challenging spirit about starting a business. Fourth, it should be possible to form continuous clubs or gatherings with friends who wish to start a business in the entertainment industry, and furthermore, an opportunity to listen to the opinions of friends who actually started a business through these meetings should be provided. In addition, the meeting and the formation of friends should create a place for discussion about writing a business plan, how to succeed in starting a business, and management of startups, and psychological stimulation activities should be conducted so that each other's will to start a business arises. Fifth, various knowledge related to start-up (methods for securing funds, management of start-up organizations, grasping information about the market in which they want to start a business, etc.) should be cultivated, and how to write a business plan for the various entertainment industry fields they want to start up. You will also need to train them to be practical. Also, based on this knowledge formation, students themselves should be able to respond to risks and changes that may occur in entrepreneurship.   • Since the first outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019, it has caused a huge blow to the restaurant industry. However, as social distancing was lifted as of April 2022, the restaurant industry gradually recovered, and as a result, interest in restaurant start-ups increased. Therefore, in this paper, big data analysis was conducted by selecting "restaurant start-up" as a key keyword through social media big data analysis using Textom and then conducting word frequency and CONCOR analysis. The collection period of keywords was selected from May 1, 2022 to May 23, 2023, after the lifting of social distancing due to COVID-19, and based on the analysis, the development of a restaurant start-up consulting chatbot service is proposed.

  • Since business startups are known to have positive effects on the economic growth of a country, it is necessary to review the factors influencing the willingness to start new businesses for the people to act on business startups. In this regard, the study sought to reexamine the findings of previous research showing that the innovative, initiative, and risk-taking characteristics, which are the constitutive elements of entrepreneurships, influence the willingness to start up. Furthermore, in this study, attempts were made to empirically analyze the direct and indirect relationships of self-leadership influencing the willingness to start new businesses. Consequently, first, it showed that college students' entrepreneurship has positive effects on the willingness to start new businesses. Second, the significance of the gender of college students was not confirmed as to playing a regulating role in the relationship between entrepreneurship and the willingness to start up. Third, the relationship between self-leadership and the willingness to start new businesses was validated to be significant in a positive direction. Fourth, no mediating effect of self-leadership in the relationship between entrepreneurship and the willingness to start new businesses was observed. Such research results have the following significances. First, while there is an awareness that the concepts of business start- up, entrepreneurship, and leadership carry masculinity, the lack of regulating effect of gender may reflect the changing phases of time and society where women's participation has been increasing. Second, self-leadership is a concept by which one pioneers his or her own life and an influencing factor on the willingness to start up; however, since it has enormous impacts on the entrepreneurship and willingness to start up, relevant mediating effects were not observed and the magnitude of the important influence between entrepreneurship and the willingness to start up were confirmed.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of start-ups by industry based on the theoretical background of entrepreneurship. For this purpose, regional industrial structure and local labor market structure are considered in order to focus on regional factors in addition to economic factors, income factors, and technological innovation factors. As an analyzed result, three theories of entrepreneurship generally agree with the determinants of industry - specific entrepreneurship. During the economic recession, the number of start-ups has increased. The intra-regional consumption and the local government expenditure per capita have also positive effects on the start-up. The incubation center has a positive effect on the start - up in the manufacturing sector. Therefore, the academic-industrial leading various incubation facilities should be activated in addition to the central or local government leading incubation centers, which is a part of the policy to support start-ups of central and local governments. In addition, population growth is a very important factor in terms of potential demand creation, and the characteristics of regional industrial structure and the effect of human capital within the region differ by industry. In the case of the manufacturing industry, the accumulation effect positively influences the start-up of the industry. In other service industries, the human capital variable had the greatest effect on the start-up when all other conditions are constant.

The Effect of Mentoring Function on Management Performance of Start-up Companies: Focusing on Entrepreneurial Alertness (창업멘토링 기능이 창업기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 기업가적 기민성을 중심으로)

  • The start-up rate is increasing due to the government's start-up support policy, but it is true that the continuous survival rate and growth rate of companies are lower than that of the start-up rate. As part of increasing the survival and growth rate of startups, the importance of start-up mentoring has been highlighted, and companies selected for the Government's startup support project are increasingly having mentoring opportunities for corporate growth. In order to determine the relationship between start-up mentoring and entrepreneurial alertness as a way to generate management performance, this study examined how start-up mentoring affects entrepreneurial alertness and management performance. In addition, the government's support project was divided into companies with less than three years of start-up and companies with more than three years of experience, which are the criteria for early and leap companies, and analyzed whether each group has a moderating effect. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the mentoring problem-solving function had a significant effect on the ability to evaluate entrepreneurial alertness, and the motivation function of mentoring had a significant effect on all factors of entrepreneurial alertness. In addition, although mentoring functions did not have a moderating effect on entrepreneurial alertness depending on the work history between companies less than 3 years and companies for more than 3 years, there was a difference in factors affecting entrepreneurial alertness between groups with low and high work history. The implications of this study can contribute to the advancement of start-up mentoring programs by studying the impact of mentoring factors on entrepreneurial alertness when providing mentoring to start-up companies selected for the government's start-up support project.

A Study on the Trend Change of Restaurant Entrepreneurship through Big Data Analysis

  • Notable trends in the restaurant start-up market after the lifting of social distancing include increasing interest in start-ups, emphasizing the importance of food quality and diversity, decreasing the relative importance of delivery services, and increasing interest in certain industries. The data collection period is three years from April 2021 to May 2023, including before and after social distancing, and texts extracted from blogs, news, cafes, web documents, and intellectuals provided by Naver, Daum, and Google were collected. For the collected data, the top 30 words were derived through a refining process. In addition, based on April 2021, the application period of social distancing, data from April 2021 to April 2022, and data from May 2022 to May 2023, Through these changes in trends, founders can capture new opportunities in the market and develop start-up strategies. In conclusion, this paper provides important insights for founders in accurately understanding the changes in food service start-up trends and in developing strategies appropriate to the current market situation.
