시·도 교육청별 중·고등학교의 시설기준과 충북지역 현상설계 학교의 스페이스프로그램 비교 연구 (A Comparative Research on the Facility Criteria of Cities·Provinces Education Office and Space Program of Competition School in Chung-buk Province)

  • Under the establishment and operating regulations of school presented only minimum standard for the founding of the school. Therefore, It is intended to suggest the reasonable space standard of the school facility, through comparison & analysis of facility standard in each city and provincial education office. Especially, The facilities standard of Chungcheongbuk-do Office Of Education has been exceeded standardization of architectural space which is proposed the Ministry of Education, and they has made the various learning space reflected creative ideas by designing all of the new school competition since 2000. In order to deal with reacting the changing method of studying like as the examples of Middle & High school in Chungcheongbuk-do, they need to set aside the enough required area for a head of students and the common space which is more than 40% in the total area according to the various learning space, securing the supporting facilities, and break & movement of the students. Moreover, Each of the city and provincial education offices are needed to establish the standardization of proper area for space organization of the planned school throughout upcoming competition.

  • This paper aims to study on the periodical competition, the program, the jury organization, the reward, and copyright applied to the buildings which were constructed with architectural design competition performed in European and American region between 19c and 20c. The results of this study are as follows; 1. Befor 1900 Period, the type of buildings added to the competition program; between 1900 period and 1950 period, the works of strong nationality and rich local color were preferred; After 1950 period, the design drawings of high symbol and function were chosen 2. There are three types of design competitions: the open design competition, the invited and limited design competition, and the idea design competition. The open design competition has been most often made. 3. The juries were, most of all, composed of professional architects over 30 percent. 4. The program was written about building scale and appointments, described what form drawings, brief notes and air perspective wood have to be submitted. For instance, the use of colour was not permitted in the drawings, as this might possibly mislead the jurors. 5. The reward was given to the winners; the copyright was given to the first prize winner. 6. The standard of entry's qualification was mostly architect 7, Entry term was from a minimum month to a maximum year after annoncement of competition, it was approximetly 63% between 4 months and 8 months. I am convinced that architect gets freedom of pure creation and joy of society service through competition, architect justifies his profession and keep his useful and creative effort to society constantly, as long as the competition exists.

Spectrophotometric Investigation of Cu and Fe Complexes with o-Chlorophenylfluorone and Selective Competition Coordination Determination of Iron Traces

  • The two reactions between iron ion (Fe3+ ) and o-chlorophenylfluorone (o-CPF) and copper ion (Cu2+ ) and o-CPF are sensitive at pH 6 in the presence of Triton X-100. We have determined the formation constants of the complexes by the spectral correction technique. Because of the poor selectivity of o-CPF to metals, the competition coordination of only the iron ion from the Cu-o-CPF complex was found and applied to the selective detection of iron traces by the Selective Competition Coordination Determination (SCCD) approach.The analysis of several samples shows that the relative standard deviations are less than 5.0% and the recovery of iron ions between 94.5% and 106%.

  • This study developed basic pattern for competition figure skating wear for school girls. Figure skating wears are difficult for making basic patterns based on standard size chart, because girls' body size are slimmer and more slender compared to the general girl's and the competition wears such as, swim suit with sleeves are, closely in contact with the player's body. The competition wears for school girl was made with consideration of changing of the body shape, physical exercises, and various specificities according to stretch material. To raise artistic effect while doing beautiful motions, and to assist in facile technique motions, competition wears need to have enough ease on the side line from waist to armpit, from armpit to wrist, and in trunk girth including crotch girth. Also, to stand out in beauty, a costume designing has a proper skirt position, length, flare width, and a tight bodice according to the player's body proportion. Most of the customers are displeased at the high price, unfitness of size, insufficient design, and difficulty in access, since they are not sold in sporting goods store. Therefore, a competition wear's basic pattern was made through scientific and emotional process including concerns on material properties, room for activities, and ideal body proportion. Systemizing the basic patterns of production method will solve high repairing expenses, unsuitable sizing, and improve accessibility for purchase.

  • 전화번호이동성이란 전화서비스 가입자가 전화망 사업자, 지역, 서비스의 종류를 변경하여도 종전에 사용하던 전화번호를 변경하지 않고 그대로 사용할 수 있는 것을 뜻한다. 새로운 통신사업자가 계속 등장함에 따라 국가적으로 이들의 공정한 경쟁을 유도하는 정책이 필요하게 되었으며 전화번호 이동성의 제공은 후발 통신사업자가 선발 통신사업자와 공정한 경쟁을 할 수 있는 토대를 만드는 것으로 인식되면서 국내에서도 전화번호이동성을 제공하기 위한 법률이 만들어지고 전 사업자가 동의할 수 있는 전화번호이동성을 제공하기 위한 표준이 필요하게 되었다. 이를 위하여 번호이동성 구현을 위한 규격을 개발하였으며, 번호이동성 구현을 위한 규격에는 호처리구조, 망구조 요구사항 등이 있으며 본 논문에서는 상기와 같은 규격에 관하여 다룬다.

  • 현대 정보화 사회로의 급속한 진전은 산업활동의 패러다임을 가히 혁명적으로 변화시키고 있고, 이러한 패러다임의 변화 중에서도 정보의 디지털화에 따른 정보통신기술의 네트워크화 현상은 세계 경제의 글로벌화 조류와 함께 단일 네트워크를 실현시켜가고 있다. 세계 단일 네트워크화는 정보통신 기술간의 상호접속성, 상호운용성의 확보를 통해 가능하며, 이는 기술 및 제품간 표준 및 호환이 이루어질 때 가능하다. 더욱이 정보통신산업은 네트워크 외부성과 수요측 규모의 경제로 인하여 표준화 선점을 하면 다른 기술로의 대체가 쉽지 않을 뿐 아니라, 표준화 경쟁의 패배로부터 과도한 위험성이 초래되는 특징을 지닌다. 따라서 기업들은 표준화 선점을 위하여 치열한 경쟁을 벌이고 있으며, 대부분 전략적으로 접근하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 현재 정보통신산업에 있어서 국제적으로 이루어지고 있는 복잡하고 다이내믹한 표준화 경쟁의 유형과 그에 따른 기업의 전략을 분석하고, 현실 경제에서의 대표적인 사례들을 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 최근 표준화 경쟁에서 표준화 협력으로의 변화동향을 살펴본 후, 표준화 선점을 위한 국가 전략의 필요성이 고조됨에 따라 이를 효율적으로 추진하기 위한 정책방향을 제시해 보고자 한다.

Measuring the Impact of Competition on Pricing Behaviors in a Two-Sided Market

  • The impact of competition on pricing has been studied in the context of counterfactual merger analyses where expected optimal prices in a hypothetical monopoly are compared with observed prices in an oligopolistic market. Such analyses would typically assume static decision making by consumers and firms and thus have been applied mostly to data obtained from consumer packed goods such as cereal and soft drinks. However such static modeling approach is not suitable when decision makers are forward looking. When it comes to the markets for durable products with indirect network effects, consumer purchase decisions and firm pricing decisions are inherently dynamic as they take into account future states when making purchase and pricing decisions. Researchers need to take into account the dynamic aspects of decision making both in the consumer side and in the supplier side for such markets. Firms in a two-sided market typically subsidize one side of the market to exploit the indirect network effect. Such pricing behaviors would be more prevalent in competitive markets where firms would try to win over the battle for standard. While such qualitative expectation on the relationship between pricing behaviors and competitive structures could be easily formed, little empirical studies have measured the extent to which the distinct pricing structure in two-sided markets depends on the competitive structure of the market. This paper develops an empirical model to measure the impact of competition on optimal pricing of durable products under indirect network effects. In order to measure the impact of exogenously determined competition among firms on pricing, we compare the equilibrium prices in the observed oligopoly market to those in a hypothetical monopoly market. In computing the equilibrium prices, we account for the forward looking behaviors of consumers and supplier. We first estimate a demand function that accounts for consumers' forward-looking behaviors and indirect network effects. And then, for the supply side, the pricing equation is obtained as an outcome of the Markov Perfect Nash Equilibrium in pricing. In doing so, we utilize numerical dynamic programming techniques. We apply our model to a data set obtained from the U.S. video game console market. The video game console market is considered a prototypical case of two-sided markets in which the platform typically subsidizes one side of market to expand the installed base anticipating larger revenues in the other side of market resulting from the expanded installed base. The data consist of monthly observations of price, hardware unit sales and the number of compatible software titles for Sony PlayStation and Nintendo 64 from September 1996 to August 2002. Sony PlayStation was released to the market a year before Nintendo 64 was launched. We compute the expected equilibrium price path for Nintendo 64 and Playstation for both oligopoly and for monopoly. Our analysis reveals that the price level differs significantly between two competition structures. The merged monopoly is expected to set prices higher by 14.8% for Sony PlayStation and 21.8% for Nintendo 64 on average than the independent firms in an oligopoly would do. And such removal of competition would result in a reduction in consumer value by 43.1%. Higher prices are expected for the hypothetical monopoly because the merged firm does not need to engage in the battle for industry standard. This result is attributed to the distinct property of a two-sided market that competing firms tend to set low prices particularly at the initial period to attract consumers at the introductory stage and to reinforce their own networks and eventually finally to dominate the market.

경쟁과 다양성: 방송관련법의 목적의 관점 (Competition and Diversity: Perspective of the Objectives of Broadcasting-related Laws)

  • 이 글에서는 먼저 경쟁과 다양성이 미디어 정책의 구체적인 수단을 규정한 방송관련법이 추구하는 주된 목적이 된다는 것을 전제로 하여 각각의 개념과 구성요소 그리고 그 제도적 구현의 모습을 살펴보고, 특정분야의 경쟁법으로서의 방송관련법에서는 경쟁 목적이 차별성 요인을 갖는 한편 다양성 가치도 특수성을 갖는다는 논의를 전개한다. 다음으로 경쟁과 다양성 가치를 조화롭게 실현하기 위해서는 방송시장 특유의 구조적 규제수단을 포함하는 특별한 경쟁규칙이 필요하다고 전제하면서, 방송관련법상 경쟁 목적 규제와 다양성 목적 규제에 대하여 개선되어야 할 방향을 다음과 같이 제시한다. 첫째, 경쟁 목적 규제의 개선 방안이다. 사전적인 상태적 규제로서의 시청점유율 규제와 사후적인 행위규제로서의 금지행위 규제는 다양성 가치를 추구하면서도 원인적 규제를 대체하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 공정거래법의 위법성 판단방식을 유추하여 다양성 관련 요소를 금지행위의 위법성 판단기준의 고려요소로 하는 방식을 구체적으로 개발할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 다양성 목적 규제의 개선 방안이다. 이는 규제 목적의 설정, 대체가능한 규제수단의 식별, 규제 목적에 맞는 규제수단과 규제수준의 선택이라는 3가지 관점에서 검토될 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 다양성 가치가 단순한 수사적 도구에 그치지 않고 평가 및 분석 도구로 사용될 수 있는 제도적 수단 위주로 규제 틀을 개선하는 한편, 경쟁과 같은 경제적 목적과의 조화를 고려할 때 불합리해 보이는 규제에 대하여는 이를 유지할 것인가 또는 어느 정도로 유지할 것인가를 신중하게 재검토해야 한다.

불완전경쟁시장에서의 배출권 거래제도의 효율성 (Efficiency of the Emission Trading Scheme in Imperfectly Competitive Markets)

  • 본고는 산출물시장이 과점적이고 동질적 상품이 거래되어 기업들이 생산량 경쟁을 하고 배출권시장은 완전경쟁적일 경우, 기업이 지출하는 저감투자량의 적절성을 이론적으로 분석한다. 산출물시장이 완전경쟁적일 때와는 달리 저감투자는 직접적으로 배출비용을 줄이는 효과 이외에 다른 기업의 산출물을 줄이는 간접적 효과를 발생시킨다. 균형하에서의 저감투자량은 사회적으로 최적인 저감투자량에 비해 생산량 대비 과잉투자를 야기하여 투자배분을 왜곡한다. 본고는 또한 불완전경쟁시장이 배출권 거래제도하에서 발생시킬 수 있는 비효율성의 제반 요인들을 검토하고 정책적 시사점을 제시한다.
