  • UDDI is the open standard for distributed Web-based registry standard which supports registrations and discoveries of Web services. Recently, UDDI version 3.0 specifications were opened by OASIS UDDI Spec, technical committee. UDDI version 3.0 supports many useful functions, which are not supported in version 2.0 specification, such as nested query, enhanced find qualifiers, digital signatures subscription, etc. Despite of its merits, complexity of the standard and backward-compatibility support makes it difficult to adopt this standard in real application domains. In this paper, we develop the Registry server which support UDDI version 3.0 standard. This server is based on common RDBMS and it supports all functions of UDDI version 3.0 including backward-compatibility with version 2.0 API, XML digital signature and URI- based key schemes.

  • The Epic of Gilgamesh drew heavily upon Mesopotamian literary tradition. Sin-leqe-uninni, the editor of Standard Version of the Epic of Gilgamesh in 13th century B.C.E. adopted the Old Babylonian version as well as older Sumerian tales about Gilgamesh. He also was very successful by extensive use of materials and literary forms originally unrelated to Gilgamesh. The epic opens with a standard type of hymnic-epic prologue. This study lens a measure of vindication to the theoretical approach by which Morris Jastrow recognized the diversity of the sources, which underlies the epic and succeeded in identifying some of them. Thanks to the ample documentation available for the literary development of the epic, we can trace the steps which its author and editors took with the result that the epic inspires fears and aspirations for more than three thousand years.

  • The standard for DGPS reference station system defined by RTCM is in the current version of 1.2. This standard currently supports only GPS of the United States. However, the current operating GNSS satellite consisted of not only GPS, but also GALILEO of Europe, GLONASS of Russia, QZSS of Japan, BeiDou of China and so on. Therefore, the existing standard is not able to support them. Accordingly, a new standard in the version of RTCM's RSIM 1.3 is established in order to provide correctional services to GNSS satellites. In this paper, the version of RSIM 1.3 is analyzed and the software for DGNSS reference station architecture supporting the version of RSIM 1.3 is designed.

  • Thermal Exchange Optimization (TEO) is a newly developed algorithm which mimics the thermal exchange between a solid object and its surrounding fluid. In this paper, an improved version of the TEO is developed to fix the shortcomings of the standard version. To demonstrate the viability of the new algorithm, the CEC 2016's single objective problems are considered along with the discrete size optimization of benchmark skeletal structures. Problem specific constraints are handled using a fly-back mechanism. The results show the validity of the improved TEO method compared to its standard version and a number of well-known algorithms.

  • At present, available positioning satellites are not only the GPS, but also GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, BeiDou. However, the differential GPS, the augmentation service for increase the positioning accuracy, is follow the RTCM version 2.3 standard. So, it can service the correction information about only GPS. For solve this problem, RTCM is making the new version of RTCM message standard that can service the correction information for all of available GNSS. In South Korea, the software DGNSS RSIM system was installed at almost the whole DGNSS reference station. In this reason, that can cope with the new RTCM version 2.4 quickly. However, the DGNSS Reference Station based RSIM 1.3 can not make the GNSS's PRC simultaneously and can not support RTCM version 2.4. Thus, in this paper, the version of RTCM 2.4 is analyzed and the RTCM version 2.4 message generating module's architecture for software DGNSS reference station is designed.

  • Radiation technology is the one for developing new products or processes by applying radiation or for creating new functions in industry, research and medical fields, and its application is increasing consistently. For securing an advanced technology competitiveness, it is required to create a new added value by information consumer through providing an efficient system for supporting information, which is the infrastructure for research and development, contributed to its collection, analysis and use with a rapidity and structure in addition to some direct research and development. Provision of the management structure for information resources is especially crucial for efficient operating the system for supporting information in radiation technology, and then a standard classification structure of information must be first developed as the system for supporting information will be constructed. The standard classification structure has been analyzed by reviewing the definition of information resources in radiation technology, and those classification structures in similar systems operated by institute in radiation and other scientific fields. And, a draft version of the standard classification structure has been then provided as 7 large, 25 medium and 71 small classifications, respectively. The standard classification structure in radiation technology will be developed in 2015 through reviewing this draft version and experts' opinion. Finally, developed classification structure will be applied to the system for supporting information by considering the plan for constructing this system and database, and requirements for designing the system. Furthermore, this structure will be designed in the system for searching information by working to the individual need of information consumers.

  • Since the implementation of International Standard Banking Practice(ISBP) in 2003, ICC Publication No. 645 has become an invaluable help to the documentary credit practitioners including banks, companies, transportation and insurance companies etc. However, with the approval of UCP 600 in October 2006, it has become necessary to provide an updated version of the ISBP. It should be emphasized that this ISBP is an updated version as opposed to a revision of ICC Publication No. 645. The new ISBP has been implemented concurrently with UCP 600 since July 1st, 2007. The first necessity was to replace UCP 500 article numbers with those of UCP 600. Second, where it was felt proper, the contents of some paragraphs that appear in ICC Publication No. 645 and that have been covered in UCP 600 have been removed from the updated version of the ISBP. This explains the reduction in the number of paragraphs from 200 to 185. The international standard banking practices documented in the new ISBP are consistent with UCP 600. This ISBP does not amend UCP 600. It explains how the practices articulated in UCP 600 are applied by documentary practitioners. The new ISBP and the UCP 600 should be read in their entirety and not in isolation. It should be kept in mind that any terms in a documentary credit which modifies or excludes the applicability of a provision of UCP 600 may also have an impact on the international standard banking practices. Consequently, when parties concerned must take into account any terms in a documentary credit that expressly modifies or excludes a rule contained in UCP 600.

  • PURPOSE: Stoke is one of most common disabling conditions and it is still lacking of measuring patient's functioning level. The aim of the study was to develop Korean language version of stroke impact scale 3.0. METHODS: Korean version of stroke impact scale 3.0 was developed in idiomatic modern Korean with a standard protocol of multiple forward and backward translations and an expert reviews to achieve equivalence with the original English version. Interviews with clinicians who were currently managing patients with stroke were also conducted for language evaluation. A reliability test was performed to make final adaptation using a pre-final version. To assess the reliability of the translated questionnaire, the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was calculated for each domain of the scale. RESULTS: Thirty subjects (16 male, 14 female) aged from 20 to 75 years old participated to review the translated questionnaire. Reliability of each domain of the questionnaire was found to be good in strength (ICC=0.74), ADL (ICC=0.81), mobility (ICC=0.90), hand function (ICC=0.80) and social participation (ICC=0.79), communication (ICC=0.77) with total (ICC=0.76). However, domains of memory and thinking (ICC=0.66), and emotion (ICC=0.27) and showed poor reliability. CONCLUSION: This study indicates that the Korean version of SIS 3.0 was successfully developed. Future study needed for obtaining the validity of the Korean version of SIS 3.0.
