  • The industry information grows faster than any other information resources in the Internet age. Unfortunately, however, there is no consensus on the standard of the classification among the information providers of the industry fields. This may a problematic issue not only in building a continuous and systematic development of the industry information, but also in the use of the information among the users. This study aims to propose a well-structured and/or an efficient classification scheme for the industry information to help the users with easy to retrieve the Internet resources. To do this, we analyzed the subject classification scheme of the domestic industry information on the web sites, which is largely adopted the \"Korean Standard for the Industry Classification\". In addition, we suggested the principle of the subject classification and their hierarchial structure derived from the analysis of the knowledge and document classification scheme. As a result, it was suggested an optimized industry classification scheme based on the analysis of the validity test of classification item measured by the quantitative analysis of the industry information, which it currently accessible through the Internet. • As interest in functional safety has recently increased, application of functional safety standards has been required in various industrial fields. A functional safety standard is a document that defines functional safety-related activities required to prevent system malfunctions. All activities defined in this standard are required differentially according to the classification results calculated through the risk analysis and assessment of the system. In the field of domestic weapon systems, there is a manual for the development and management of weapon system software issued by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA ). This manual requires static and dynamic analysis of software for functional safety related activities. However, the manual does not specifically address the classification activity through risk analysis and assessment as required for the preceding activities. Therefore, in this study, we analyze the problems of the manual based on the representative functional safety standards, and propose improvement plans.

  • When Digital Contents goes through production${\cdot}$delivery${\cdot}$consumption, MPEG(Moving Picture Expers Group)-21 IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection) defines standard which have defined by FCD(Final Committee Draft) level to keep the Digital Contents in safety. And development of system which applied to latest standard to protect and manage the broadcasting contents is required. Currently, the system to protect and manage the broadcast contents consists of fourth organizations which means production server, tool server, license server, consumption server. In this paper, we made production server to parse REL(Right Expression Language) document that has right information for content from license server, and create metadata based on MPEG-21 IPMP about the content that applied to watermark. then, after it do remuxing, transmit the protected data to consumption server.

  • With the advance of Information Technology (IT) and dynamic requirements, diverse application services have been provided for end users. With huge volume of these services and information, users are required to acquire customized services that provide personalized information and decision at particular extent of time. The case is more appealing in healthcare, where patients wish to have access to their medical record where they have control and provided with recommendation on the medical information. PHR (Personal Health Record) is most prevailing initiative that gives secure access on patient record at anytime and anywhere. PHR should also incorporate decision support to help patients in self-management of their diseases. Available PHR system incorporates basic recommendations based on patient routine data. We have proposed decision support service called "Smart CDSS" that provides recommendations on PHR data for diabetic patients. Smart CDSS follows HL7 vMR (Virtual Medical Record) to help in integration with diverse application including PHR. PHR shares patient data with Smart CDSS through standard interfaces that pass through Adaptability Engine (AE). AE transforms the PHR CCR/CCD (Continuity of Care Record/Document) into standard HL7 vMR format. Smart CDSS produces recommendation on PHR datasets based on diabetic knowledge base represented in shareable HL7 Arden Syntax format. The Smart CDSS service is deployed on public cloud over MS Azure environment and PHR is maintaining on private cloud. The system has been evaluated for recommendation for 100 diabetic patients from Saint's Mary Hospital. The recommendations were compared with physicians' guidelines which complement the self-management of the patient.

  • The APR1400 (Advanced Power Reactor 1400MW) nuclear power plant is a large-scale national infrastructure facility with a total project cost of 8.6 trillion won and a project period of 10 years or more. The total project area is about 2.17 million square meters and consists of more than 20 buildings and structures. And the total number of drawings required for construction is about 65,000. In order to design such a large facility, it is important to establish a design standard that reflects the design intent and can increase conformity between documents (drawings). To this end, a design bases document (DBD) reflecting the design bases that extracted in regulatory requirements (e.g. 10CFR50, Korean Law, etc.) is created. However, although the design bases are important concepts that are a big framework for the whole design of the nuclear power plant, they are managed in 2-dimensional by the experts in each field fragmentarily. Therefore, in order to improve the usability of building information, we developed BIM(Building Information Model) based 3-dimensional design bases management system. For this purpose, the concept of design bases information layer (DBIL) was introduced. Through the simulation of developed system, design bases attribute and element data extraction for each DBIL was confirmed, and walls, floors, doors, and penetrations with DBIL were successfully extracted.

  • 6LoWPAN is IPv6 packets transmission technology at Sensor network over the IEEE 802.15.4 Standard MAC and Physical layer. Adaptation layer between IP layer and MAC layer performs fragmentation and reassembly of packet for transmit IPv6 packets. RFC4944, IETF 6LoWPAN WG standard document define packet fragmentation and reassembly. In this paper, we propose the IRM(Immediate Retransmission Method) and SRM(Selective Retransmission Method) to manage packet fragmentation and reassembly at 6LoWPAN. Each time destination receives a fragmented packet, it sends Ack message to the source node on IRM. However, on SRM, the destination node receives all fragmented packet, it sends Ack message or Nak message to the source node. In this case, Nak message include the dropped packet number. To compare the performance of the proposed schemes, we develop a simulator using C++. The result of simulation shows the proposed schemes provider better performance than RFC4944 standard scheme.

  • The Project Management Information System (PMIS), the core of construction information, performs the function of handling large volumes of data and information in the actual layout and construction, and supports the manager in making a prompt decision. The purpose of this study is to develop a construction PMIS integrated form system prototype for process and quality control forms, submitted between project groups, as the method of data sharing and communication among an owner, supervisor, and site manager. This study of the integrated form classification system was carried out with limited case studies and interviews of professionals due to lack of data from the previous thesis and related research material From the results of this study, an Excel-based integrated form system was established for a complete site.

  • Regardless of the strict enforcement of prevention education in accordance with the school facility management standard, safety accidents that lead to human and physical damages occur in current educational facilities because of teenagers with very low sense of responsibility and insensitivity toward fire and facility safety. To ensure educational facility safety, technology that will enable a fast work process and easy confirmation of electronic blueprints and related documents about the educational facility through smart devices at the site by various means is needed. This paper proposes a system design linked to the National Education Information System (NEIS) that uses the document conversion function, high efficiency resolution, and Internet of Things (IoT) to inspect and control the educational facility in the event of a safety accident through the Educational Facility Resource Management System (EFRMS) that manages the electronic blueprints, and various educational facility documents through various smart devices.

  • This study aims at analyzing the global trend of standardization in the field of Industrial Security through ISO/TC 292. It covers broad areas from risk management for industrial property protection and loss prevention through supply chain security, product and document fraud and counterfeiting countermeasures and control and community resilience. It also explores the historical background of the standardization in the security field, how ISO TC 292 came out as a leading group in order to standardize relevant security management systems. TC 292 deals with terminology, general security-related standards and supply chain security management. One of the major findings from this analysis is that security targets and threats are diversified and so organizations like enterprises should have proper flexibility to adapt themselves to new security environment and take appropriate resilience system to cope with the threats and incidents. Also the ISO standardization requires public or private entities to take holistic approaches in security management. Finally, it was found that South Korea has to prepare for this global trend of standardization in this field so that ISO certification market demand and the requirements for transnational trades can be well met.
