In this study, we measured the partial discharge phenomenon of inside the closed switchgear, using ultra wide band antenna. The characteristics of $\Phi-q-n$ in the normal state are stable, and confirmed at less than 0.01, but in proceeding states, about 2 times larger. And in the abnormal state, it grew hundreds of times larger compared with normal state. According to K-means analysis, if slant of discharge characteristics is a straight line close to "0" and standard deviation is small, it is in a normal state. However if we can find a peak from K-means clusters and standard deviation to be large, it is in an abnormal state.

Marine radars are affected by sea and rain clutters, which can make target discrimination difficult. The clutter standard deviation and improvement factor are applied using multiple parameters-moving speed of radar, antenna speed, angle, etc. When a radar signal is processed, a Data Matrix Bank (DMB) filter can be applied to remove sea clutters. This filter allows detection of a target, and since it is not affected by changes in adjacent clutters resulting from a multi- target signal, sea state clutters can be removed. In this paper, we study the level for clutter removal and the method for target detection. In addition, we design a signal processing algorithm for marine radars, analyze the performance of the DMB filter algorithm, and provide a DMB filter algorithm design. We also perform a DMB filter algorithm analysis and simulation, and then apply this to the DMB filter and cell-average constant false alarm rate design to show comparative results.

The experimented rangefinder consist of sets of V/A-Code GPS and sets of L1 C/A-code & carrier phase receivers connected by two spread spectrum radio modems in order to measure relative range and bearing between two ship antennas by real time, comparing and analyzing accuracy of both GPS receivers at the fix point on the land by means of executing zero baseline test by C/A code and by carrier phase as well as measuring distance range 5m, 10m, 15m between each other receivers. The results from the measurement of relative range and bearing are as follows as ;1. According to the results from zero baseline test, the average error by C/A-code receiver is less than 0.1m, which proves theories from published books but when each GPS receivers track different satellites, the range accuracy error becomes up to 100m by means of S/A. Because of this sudden wide range error, rangefinder is not appropriate at relative range measurement without additional modification of the algorism of the GPS receiver itself.2. According to relative range measurement by Carrier Phase and zero baseline test at static condition, the range error is less than 3.5cm in case that it passes more than 5 minutes after GPS sets can track simultaneously more than 6 satellites. Its main reason is understood that the phase center of antenna is bigger than geodetic antenna.3. When range measurement of two receivers from 5m, to 10m to 15m, the each range error is 0.340m, 0.190m, 0.011m and each standard variation is 0.0973m, 0.0884m, 0.0790m. The range error and standard variation are in inverse proportion to distance between two receivers. 4. L1 Carrier Phase GPS generally needs 5 minutes to fix and during this ambiguity search, the relative range and bearing angle is shown to be various.
The authors are making a prototype flexible board of a radio-frequency transmitter for measuring an electromyogram (EMG) of a flying moth and plan to apply for an experimental station license from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan in the summer of 2022. The goal is to create a continuous low-dose exposure standard that incorporates scientific and physiological functional assessments to replace the current standard based on lethal dose 50. This paper describes the technical evaluation of the hardware. The signal of a bipolar EMG electrode is amplified by an operational amplifier. This potential is added to a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (27 MHz, bandwidth: 4 kHz), frequency-converted, and transmitted from an antenna about 10 cm long (diameter: 0.03 mm). The power source is a 1.55-V wristwatch battery that has a total weight of about 0.3 g (one dry battery and analog circuit) and an expected operating time of 20 minutes. The output power is -7 dBm and the effective isotropic radiated power is -40 dBm. The signal is received by a dual-whip antenna (2.15 dBi) at a distance of about 100 m from the moth. The link margin of the communication circuit is above 30 dB within 100 m. The concepts of this hardware and the measurement data are presented in this paper. This will be the first biological data transmission from a moth with an official license. In future, this telemetry system will improve the detection of physiological abnormalities of moths.

Recently, according to the increase of using the microwave equipments, the interests in effects on human body have been also increased. For example, there have been many researches on making the standard the specific absorbing ratio (SAR) caused by mobile phones. However, it is needed to study on the induced current on human body caused by HF(Hight Frequency) band which can deeply penetrate the human body. Especially, since the RFID systems are applied to the transportation card and the library, it is hooded to research on the effect on human body exposed to the radiated power from the RFID system. In this paper, we designed a cylindrical monopole antenna model of human body exposed to 13.56 MHz RFID system, which can model the induced current on human body. To verify the proposed equivalent antenna model, we compared the induced currents between human body and the equivalent antenna model.

In this study, a triple-band antenna that can be used in WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) at 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and 5G at 3.5 GHz is fabricated. The proposed antenna uses a parasitic element to show the triple band, and the reflector is used at a distance of ${\lambda}/4$ from the antenna to reduce the Specific Absorption Rate(SAR). Its dimensions are $100{\times}75{\times}1.6mm^3$ and each parameter value is optimized for better performance and a lower SAR value. As a result, we obtained a bandwidth of 540 MHz(2.02~2.56 GHz), 390 MHz(3.39~3.78 GHz), and 1,210 MHz(5.56~6.77 GHz) based on the reflection loss factor of -10 dB. In addition, the SAR values of the antenna with reflector are observed to reduce below the SAR value of international standard.

In mobile radio communication, propagation paths are time or spacial varying because of the motion of mobile unit. The propagation path loss not only involves frequency and distance but also the antenna height at both the base station and the mobile unit, terrain configuration, and the man made en- vironment. Thhese additional factors make the prediction of propagation path loss of mobile radio signals more difficult. In this paper, it is measured field strenght of mobile radio signals in Daejeon and Seoul area, also calculated local median, 500m sample mean, and stadard deviation. As the result of analysis, it can be seen that propagation path loss of measured data is similiar to predicted field strength, especially local median is dependent upon base antenna height, terrain configuration and the man-made environment. The standard deviation has been noted to lie between 2 and 10 dBuV.

In this paper, we introduce a concept of HEMP systems and analyze a shielding effectiveness by varying placements of the antenna elements. Maxwell's equations for the high frequency of the EMP is represented in the LOS. In order to investigate the effects of electromagnetic attenuations, a shielding room was constructed and employed to obtain measured data. Shielding effects were measured by changing frequency and the distance of receiving antenna. Each measured value was compared to U.S. standard and measuring method was simplified. shielding effects were measured by three different conditions of shielding room. Find the difference between forward measurement and reverse measurement and factors which affects the measurement in shielding room.
The procurement of a mobile microwave scatterometer platform involved the consideration to ensure a mobile platform and equipment selected full-filled technical requirement and safety standard in Malaysia. Designing, and modification works involved engineering methodology in determining and selecting a suitable hydraulic telescopic boom that suit a selected mobile platform available locally. The mobile platform is a delivery system for microwave remote sensing microwave scatterometer and other accessories to any locations in Malaysia. Total loading to be carried by the mobile platform is 4500 kg and its overall weight must be 16,000 kg as recommended by hydraulic telescopic boom manufacturers. The telescopic boom will elevate microwave scatterometer system including the antenna to a maximum height of 27 m, and can also be rotated through $3600^{\circ}$. A mechanism is incorporated in the system to enable tracking or monitoring angular movement of the hydraulic telescopic boom when positioned towards predetermined target.

Automatic train control systems are divided into ATC, ATP and ATS systems etc. The ATP and ATS systems offer discontinuous information for train control. While the ATC systems provide continueous information for train control. There is a method for offering continuous information by AF track circuits. Magnetic fields are formed by current through rails in the AF track circuit systems. So, the continuous information is received by the magnetic fields on a on-board antenna. Coating materials on rails are researched to decrease defects such as head check, shelling, corrugation, squats and so on in Germany. Currently, a coating method of rail construction is proposed by using the ceramics in Korea. When deciding physical characteristic of ceramics, researches are required about variation of flux density by the ceramics. In case that the flux density is much lower than existing value, the information for train control is not transmitted to the on-board antenna. In this paper, inductance on rails is calculated and a model is presented about variation of the magnetic field intensity in the AF track circuit. Standard permeability of ceramics is proposed by analyzing the variation of magnetic field intensity. It is demonstrated by using Maxwell and Matlab program.
