실제 혼합염색폐수의 유동상 시스템을 활용한 미생물처리와 하이브리드 재순환시스템처리 (Treatment of an Authentic Textile-dyeing Wastewater Utilizing a Fluidized Biofilter and Hybrid Recirculating System Composed of the Fluidized Biofilter and a UV/photocatalytic Reactor)

  • D염색공단의 폴리에스테르 알카리 감량폐수가 혼합된 실제 혼합염색폐수를 처리하기 위하여 Pseudomonas sp. 및 Bacillus cereus/thuringiensis를 고정한 폐타이어담체를 충전한 유동상 바이오필터를 운전하였다. 또한 유동상 바이오필터와 450 W의 UV/광촉매반응기를 결합한 하이브리드 재순환시스템을 구축하여 stage I에서는 UV/광촉매반응기를 바이패스하고 유동상 바이오필터만을, stage II-i, ii, iii에서는 하이브리드 재순환시스템을 각각 운전하였다. 유동상 바이오필터만을 사용하였을 경우에 $COD_{Cr}$ 및 색도 제거효율은 각각 75~80% 및 67%를 나타내었다. 한편 하이브리드 재순환시스템 운전에서 stage I에서 stage II-i로 전환되었을 때에 UV/광촉매산화공정의 $COD_{Cr}$ 제거율이 20~30%에 달하여 총 $COD_{Cr}$ 제거율은 75%로부터 80~85%까지 제고되었다. 한편 stage I에서 stage II-i로 전환되었을 때에 UV/광촉매산화공정의 색도제거율은 0~5%에 불과하였으나 총 색도제거율은 45~65%로부터 65~70%까지 제고되었다. 색도 제거에서는 $COD_{Cr}$ 제거와 다르게 UV/광촉매산화공정에 의하여 유동상 바이오필터의 효율이 제고되어서 하이브리드 재순환시스템의 시너지효과가 나타났다. 또한 색도제거에서는 $COD_{Cr}$ 제거와 다르게 반송비 증가에 따른 광촉매 비활성화가 관찰되지 않았고, $COD_{Cr}$ 제거에서 반송비 증가에 따른 광촉매 비활성화는 비가역적으로 관찰되었다.

연구개발 사업화 성과 평가 : DEA 기반 3단계 R&BD 성과 모형 (Performance Evaluation of R&D Commercialization : A DEA-Based Three-Stage Model of R&BD Performance)

  • This study proposes a three-stage model of R&BD performance which captures commercialization outcomes as well as conventional R&D performance. The model is composed of three factors : inputs (R&D budgets and researchers), outputs (patents and papers), and outcomes (technical fees, products sales, and cost savings). Three stages are defined for each transformation process between the three factors : efficiency stage from input to output (stage 1), effectiveness stage from output to outcome (stage 2), and productivity stage from input to outcome (stage 3). The performance of each stage is measured by data envelopment analysis (DEA). DEA is a non-parametric efficiency measurement technique that has widely been used in R&D performance measurement. We measure the performance of 171 projects of 6 public R&BD programs managed by Seoul Business Agency using the proposed three-stage model. In order to provide a balanced and holistic view of R&BD performance, the R&BD performance map is also constructed based on performance of efficiency and productivity stages.

동태적 역량을 고려한 2단계 성과측정시스템 설계 및 적용 (Design and Application of Two-Stage Performance Measurement System Considering Dynamic Capabilities)

  • The dynamic capabilities of sensing market signals, creating new opportunities and reconfiguring resources and capabilities to new opportunities in a rapidly changing economic environment determines the competitiveness of the enterprise to create added value and survival. This study conceptualized a two-stage performance measurement framework based on the casual model of resource (input)-process-performance (output). We have developed a 'Process capability index' that reflect the dynamic capabilities factors as a key intermediary product linking resource inputs and performance outputs in enterprise performance measurement. The process capability index consists of four elements : manpower (level of human resource), operation productivity, structure and risk management. The DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) model was applied to the developed performance indicators to analyze the branch office performance of a telecom company. Process capability efficiency (stage 1) uses resource inputs to reach a certain level of process capabilities. In performance result efficiency (stage 2), the process capabilities are used to generate sales revenues and subscribers. The two-stage DEA model derives intermediate output values that optimize the individual stages simultaneously. Some branch offices in the telecom company have focused on process capability efficiency or some other branch offices focused on performance result efficiency. Positioning map using two-stage efficiency decomposition and benchmarking can help identify the sources of inefficiencies and visualize strategic directions for performance optimization. Applications of two-stage DEA in conjunction with the case study that are meaningfully used in performance measurement areas have been scarce. In particular, this paper has the contribution to present a new performance measurement model considering the organization theory, the dynamic capabilities.

단축적방법을 이용한 다단 축류압축기의 설계 (A Design Procedure for a Multi-Stage Axial Compressor Using the Stage-Stacking Method)

  • A preliminary design procedure for a multi-stage axial compressor is developed, which is based on the stage-stacking method. It determines the flow coefficient which gives rise to the design conditions required such as pressure ratio, mass flow rate and rotational speed for a given specific mass flow rate at inlet to a compressor. With this flow coefficient, blade radii, every stage and compressor performance characterics such as stage pressure ratio, adiabatic efficiency etc. are calculated by stacking each stage performance characteristics. It is shown that there is an optimum number of stage which results in the maximum of compressor overall efficiency for a given specific mass flow rate at inlet to a compressor. A test design was tried for three different geometric design constraints, and comparison with a previous study shows that present procedure could be used reliably in determining the number of compressor stage in preliminary design stage.

  • A new multi inner stage(MIS) cyclone was designed to remove the acidic gas and minute particles of harmful materials produced from electronic industry. To characterize gas flow in MIS cyclone, pressure and velocity distribution were calculated by means of computational fluid dynamics(CFD) commercial program. Also, the flow locus of particles and particle removal efficiency were analyzed by Lagrangian method. When outlet pressure condition was -1,000 Pa, the efficiency was the best in this study. Based on the CFD simulation result, the pressure loss and destruction removal efficiency was measured through MIS cyclone experiment.

2단 평행판 전기집진기의 서브마이크론입자 집진성능 개선 연구 (Study on improvement of submicron particle collection performance in 2-stage parallel-plate electrostatic precipitators)

  • It was reported by some researchers that two-stage parallel-plate ESPs, commonly called electronic air cleaners, show decreasing behavior of collection efficiency as particle size decreases below about $0.03{\mu}m$. This phenomenon is attributed to partial particle charging characteristics, where some of incoming particles are not charged in the charging cell of 2-stage parallel-plate ESP. One way to improve the decreasing collection efficieny in that particle size range is to enforce particle charging quantity in the charging cell. In the present study, in order to do this a 2-wire series-type charging cell modified from a 1-wire normal-type one was suggested and investigated theoretically and experimentally concerning improvement of the collection efficiency. It was confirmed from the experimental and theoretical works that the collection efficiency was apparently improved.

  • 본 연구에서는 800 1pm인 대유량을 처리하고 공기중 1.8~4.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ 입자를 효율 적으로 선별하여 농축시키는 슬릿형 2단 가상충돌기를 설계 제작하고 그 성능이 평가 되었다. 즉, 첫째단과 둘째단에서 4.5$\mu\textrm{m}$과 1.8$\mu\textrm{m}$이 각각 50%의 효율로 분리되도록 설계되었다. 즉, 첫째단과 둘째단에서 4.5$\mu\textrm{m}$과 1.8$\mu\textrm{m}$이 각각 50%의 효율로 분리되도 록 설계한다. 설계인자(design parameter)들을 결정하기 위하여 먼저 슬릿형 노즐의 1단 가상충돌기의 분리효율(separation efficiency)에 대한 실험을 통하여 50% 커트오 프 Stokes수를 구하고, 이를 기초로 하여 2단 가상 충돌기의 주요치수와 작동조건을 결정하였다.

이오나이저 및 유전체 방식을 도입한 다층 다단 다공성 플레이트 시스템의 집진특성 (Dust Collection Characteristics of Multi-layer Multi-stage Porous Plate System with Ionizer and Dielectric-substance)

  • The main purpose of this study is to analyze the collection characteristics of multi-layer multi-stage porous plate system with ionizer and dielectric-substance experimentally. The experiment is carried out to analyze the characteristics of pressure drop and collection efficiency for the present system with experimental parameters such as applied voltage, inlet velocity, stage number and inlet particle concentration, etc. In results, for multi-layer multi-stage porous plate system of inflow type, at 5 stage and $v_{in}$=2.58 m/s, the pressure drop becomes lower 15 $mmH_2O$ as 95 $mmH_2O$ than that of non-inflow type system. It is estimated that for the present system with ionizer and dielectric-substance, the collection efficiency represents 98.5% showing higher 5.2% comparing to that of multi-layer multi-stage porous plate system without ionizer and dielectric-substance at 5 stage, $v_{in}$=2.58 m/s and inlet concentration $3g/m^3$(fly ash).

다층 다단 다공성 플레이트 시스템의 집진 특성 (Collection Characteristics of Multi-layer Multi-stage Porous Plate System)

  • The main object of this study is to investigate the collection characteristics of multi-layer multi-stage porous plate system experimentally. The experiment is carried out to analyze the characteristics of pressure drop and collection efficiency for the present system with the experimental parameters such as inlet velocity, tube diameter, inlet concentration, and stage number, etc. In results, the pressure drop becomes 22 to $115mmH_2O$ with increment of stage number (1 to 5) of porous plate system at tube velocity 15 m/s and tube diameter ${\Phi}8$. In case of fly ash and 5 stage, the collection efficiency becomes 90.5 to 95.7% increasing the tube velocity 12 to 15 m/s at inlet concentration $3g/m^3$ and tube diameter ${\Phi}8$. Additionally, it is estimated that the collection efficiencies of 5 stage are 94.3, 95.6 and 99.1% for fly ash, steel dust and based power, respectively (${\Phi}8$ tube, $V_t$ = 12m/s, inlet concentration $3g/m^3$).

  • Recently, regulation for THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) such as IEC 61000-3-2, IEEE 519 is being reinforced about a product which directly connects to AC line in order to prevent distortion of common power source in electronic equipment and electrical machinery. In order to satisfy these regulations, conventional circuits were used two-stage structure attached power factor correction circuit at ahead of converter but this method complicate the circuit and then a number of element increases thereupon the cost of production rises. In this paper, we propose a high efficiency single-stage 300W PFC flyback converter, that improved power factor and efficiency than conventional two-stage power module.
