IT Service Management (ITSM) achieves consolidated management for the IT services supporting the acquisition system, and no outside connections can be established with such ITSM. Issues pertaining to the D2B can be addressed to System Q&A or a Call Center for problem-solving. In other words, internal staff can take the necessary measures for problems by directly connecting with ITSM. Currently, diverse innovative technologies are being used in electronics and ubiquitous computing environments. This allows us to create a better world by providing the backbone for remarkable development in our human society in the fields of electronics, devices, computer science, and engineering. Following the expansion of IT services in the military acquisition sector such as Defense Electronic Procurement, military export/import support system, etc., customers' dependence on IT for conducting business with the military or related companies is increasing, including the military's dependence on the same technology for services to the public. Nonetheless, issues pertaining to the simplified/integrated management of complex IT service management systems, including slow system recovery, lack of integrated customer service window, and insufficient information sharing, have become the priority problems that IT managers are required to solve. Therefore, this study conducted research on the integrated management of IT services provided by Korea's national defense acquisition system, which was developed based on the existing system IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v2, and investigated the level of satisfaction with services with focus on ensuring that it can be used for understanding the necessity of the system and its advancement in the future.

This study aims at exploring the effectiveness of continuing education for enhancing professionalism of children's librarians and its problems in order to provide systematic and practical children's services in public libraries. To this end, we conducted a thorough review and analysis of relevant studies on children's services and children's librarian education in public libraries. Then, we carried out a survey for children's librarians in public libraries in 2007 and in-depth phone and email interviews of children's librarians who participated in a continuing education program at K library one year later. The study findings showed the need for children's librarians' continuing practical training for children's services instead of one-time training. Further, we found the lack of children's librarians' professionalism and staff members in providing effective library services for children in public libraries.
This study is conducted to promote the activation of volunteer activities on the basic of the voluntaarry participation of local by investigating the utillzation of volunteers and analyzing this realted factors in the visiting health services of health centers. Subjects in this study were the whole 245 health centers. Data were collected from April, 12, 1999 to May, 31, 1999, and data for analyses were ones of 41 respondents, which answer " they utilize volunteers in visting health services". The summary of resulth was as follows : 1. In case that the type of health centers is one of county, in case that the number of staff in health center is over 80, in case that model business in not performed, in case that the degree of local financial independence is over 50%, and in case that the location of health centers in not good, there had more of volunteers in visiting health services. 2. 51.2% of analysing health centers answered that the utilization of volunteers has been done since 1998. 56.1% answered that they utillzed volunteers "over 4 hours" per person in a week. The average number of volunteers who was engaged at those visiting health services was 43.3. 3. Most of volinteers were housewives(73.2%). As for the action duration of volunteers. 68.8% answered " under 6 months". 4. As to the tasks of volunter activities, 75.6% were "home services" and 63.4% were "movable bath services". As for the tasks they intend to utilize, 90.2% answered " home services", 73.2% answered "movable health services". 5. Asked abount the purpose in utilizing volunteers, 75.6% answered "to induce the participation og local people". 65.9% answered "to provide various kinds of services". 66.7% provided some kind of education and training for volunteers. 6. Concerming evaluation of performance by volunteers, 90.2% answered " satisfactory". With reagards to the reason for that, 52.9% answered " volunteers can provide kinds of services". and 50.0% answered " volunteers can help local people to care their health". The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of differences between job expectations and satisfaction on overall employee satisfaction. A survey was conducted on administrative staff at S University in Seoul for 8 days from December 17, 2018 to December 24, 2018. First, the difference between job expectation and job satisfaction, a significant negative difference occurred for all 15 measurement variables. Second, the factors of work cost and personnel system were found to have a significant negative effect on employee satisfaction. If the expected discrepancy between work cost and personnel system increases by 1, employee satisfaction decreases by 0.35 and 0.24, respectively. Third, among the sub-categories of work cost and personnel system, department allocation and division of duties, proper compensation payment, rationality of compensation decision process, and good welfare system were found to have a significant correlation. By analyzing the significant correlation between expected discrepancies and employee satisfaction, focusing on items that can increase employee satisfaction while lowering the financial burden, narrowing the expected discrepancy of staff increases employee satisfaction and improves the quality of education services.

This study analyzed the general user behaviors and the perceptions on service quality, satisfaction, loyalty of the users of the special winter vacation programs at the public libraries in Daegu Metropolitan City. Among the 444 collected questionnaires from the participants in the programs at 8 public libraries in the City, a total of 300 were analyzed for the study. As results, many participants have visited the libraries with their family members, and have applied the programs through the helps from their parents. They rated higher the service quality, the satisfaction, and the loyalty than other child users of the children's services as well as the adult participants of the cultural programs and of the public libraries. In the analysis of the structural equation model (SEM) on the service quality, customer satisfaction and loyalty, all of the service quality factors of special winter vacation programs, namely program contents and instructors, staff supports and services, and facilities and equipments, have significant effects on the user satisfaction. Staff supports and services factor of the service quality has significant direct effects on loyalty along with the overall satisfaction, but program contents and instructors factor and facilities and equipments factor have no significant direct effects on loyalty.
The objective of this study was to examine the association between personal, housing, program, and service characteristics and quality of life among persons with severe mental illness living in supported housing. A cross sectional survey of a random sample of 237 clients residing in supported housing in Philadelphia was used to assess the association between personal and environmental characteristics, and quality of life. Data were collected from structured interviews, administrative data, the 2000 U.S. Census data file and the Philadelphia police crime database. Multiple regression analyses were used to identify personal and environment characteristics that are associated with quality of life. Clients with diagnoses of schizophrenia, those with lower levels of psychiatric symptoms, those with higher levels of physical health status, and those with higher levels of perceived supportiveness with staff had higher levels of quality of life. Findings of this study suggested that clients' clinical characteristics and consumer staff relationships can be important variables for understanding quality of life among supported housing residents. Factors associated with quality of life identified in this study may help service providers design and plan services to promote quality of life and stable independent living in the community of supported housing residents.
Purpose: The object evaluation method about medical institutes of these days increases credibility of consumers about medical services by conducting a certification system about medical institutes. In addition, as nuclear medicine test rooms and diagnosis test medicine room adopt many kinds of international certification systems, the matters regarding safety management of test rooms are being regarded as important. Since the blood test rooms of nuclear medicine are exposed to many harmful factors such as infection from clinical specimen and radioactive isotope reagent, there is a need to pay lots of attention to the safety management of staff and patients. Therefore, this study discusses safety management activities of staff and patients, which are conducted in the blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department in Asan Medical Center. Materials and Methods: In the blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department in Asan Medical Center, the matters regarding comprehensive safety management by the person in charge of safety management are offered and all staff members of the test rooms apply them into work. Safety management education is regularly conducted according to established regulations, and infection is prevented through implementation of wearing personal protectors and hand sanitation during test work. In addition, technical safety guides and accident guides for interruption of electric power are provided against emergencies. Through infection management guides, infection prevention and preparation methods for infection are learned and radioactive isotope management, safety management about reagent use and safety guides about harmful chemical substances are being applied to work. Results: The blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department apply safety management regulations to work. Under the situation where hand sanitation should be conducted, hands are washed to prevent infection between staff and patients, and for preventing infection from clinical specimen, personal protectors are worn. The reagent, which is classified as harmful substance, is separately stored to be easily recognized, radioactive wastes and general medical wastes are also safely managed. Through these lots of safety management activities, safety management awareness of staff members is enhanced, and patients are protected from many dangers. Conclusion: Staff members of the blood test rooms of the nuclear medicine department should be fully aware of safety management regulations and apply them to work. When better safety management suggestions are made, they need to be examined and applied for increasing quality of safety management for staff and patients.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop a community-based nursing center model that can provide health promotion for infants and toddlers as well as a research and practice site for nursing faculty and students. Methods: Review of current health care system and health promotion programs, and workshops with brain-storming were carried out to identify needy areas of services to be provided by the nursing center. Finally, the community nursing center model was developed through expert consultation and filed visits. Results: The services and programs were developed for infants and toddlers residing in Seoul area. These services and programs include growth and developmental screening, environment and health problem assessment, infant stimulation and parent education, and self-help group. Full-time and part-time staff nurses and nurse practitioners will provide those services and offer home visiting if needed. Database system, health information system, and trainers' training programs were developed as well. Conclusion: The nursing center model developed in this study will ensure clients direct access to nursing care and increase of autonomy and accountability of nursing practices. The nursing center model focused on disease prevention and health promotion will enhance the quality of life of the infants, toddlers and their families as well as to decrease national health care expenditure.

With changes of global environment, a growing number of people has entered America in recent decades, including immigrants, refugees, exchange students, and visitors. The influx of newcomers has brought great challenges to American public libraries to meet the needs and desires of diverse groups in the community. This paper discusses how public libraries can improve their services and programs for the ethnic, cultural, and linguistic diversities of community members. Especially, this paper comprehensively discusses that the public library's atmosphere for newcomers, community need assessment, library services and programs, multicultural collections, multicultural staff, collaboration with other organizations and groups, information and communication technology, and future challenges for public libraries.
This study was carried out to examine comparison of relating influencing factors on medical service satisfaction between general dental patients and orthodontic patients and to improve quality of the medical services by the treatment type of the visit. The data were collected from 421 patients who visited dental clinics and hospitals in Daegu and Gyeongbuk region, using self-administered questionnaire for the period from Sep 1 to Sep 30, 2015. The multiple regression showed that the medical staff and medical fee were common statistically significant independent variables to influence service satisfaction in both groups, however, fear in the treatment was added to statistically significant variables in only the orthodontic patients. Therefore, based on the provision of high - quality medical services and adequate medical care for patients' satisfaction, comprehensive plans including tailor-made counseling management and reducing the fear of dental treatment for general dental patients should be needed.
