마찰력을 고려한 로봇의 가속도 타원 해석 (Acceleration Ellipsoid of Multiple Cooperating Robots with Friction Contact)

  • In this paper a mathematical framework fur deriving acceleration bounds from given joint torque limits of multiple cooperating robots are described. Especially when the different frictional contacts for every contact are assumed and the torque limits are given in 2-norm sense, we show that the resultant geometrical configuration for the acceleration is composed of corresponding parts of ellipsoids. Since the frictional forces at the contacts are proportional to the normal squeezing forces, the key points of the work includes how to determine internal forces exerted by each robot in order not to cause slip at the contacts while the object is carried by external forces. A set of examples composed of two robot systems are shown with point-contact-with-friction model and insufficient or proper degree of freedom robots.

  • Resonance fluorescence is the manifestation of the interaction between the physical system under consideration and the vacuum-field fluctuation. The fluorescence spectrum provides such physical informations as the energy-level structure of the system, instabilities and relative populations of the energy levels, etc.. One of the typical fluorescence spectra is the Mollow triplet appearing when two-level atoms are driven by a strong coherent field in free space$^{(1)}$ . In the weak field limit, the singlet instead of the triplet is obtained with a reduced linewidth due to the squeezing of one quadrature phase of the induced atomic dipole$^{(2)}$ . On the other hand, when the atoms are put inside a cavity rather than in free space, a doublet spectrum due to the vacuum Rabi-splitting is achieved, showing clearly the coupling of atoms and the cavity in the single-quantum limit$^{(3)}$ . 용탕단조법으로 제조된 AC4C 합금기 세라믹강화 복합재료의 특성연구 (Characterization of the Ceramic Reinforced AC4C Matrix Composites Processed by Squeeze Casting)

  • The microstructure and mechanical property of the ceramic reinforced AC4C matrix composites processed by squeeze casting were investigated. In this study Kaowool and Saffil fiber which are ceramic reinforcements are used as preform materials. As a matrix material, Al-7wt.%Si-0.3wt.%Mg(AC4C) has been used. In case of Kaowool and Saffil/AC4C composites, 7.5 MPa squeezing pressure and minimum 7.0% binder amount are needed to produce sound composite materials. The tensile strength of Kaowool/ AC4C composite is lower than the matrix metal and this can be explained by the melt unfilling due to formed cluster of Kaowool reinforcements. But the mechanical properties of hardness, wear resistance and thermal expansion are better than the matrix materials due to the strengthening effect of ceramic reinforcements.

  • The microstructure and mechanical property of the Ni and Ni-Cr porous metal reinforced AC4C matrix composites fabricated by squeeze casting were investigated. In this study Ni, Ni-Cr porous metals which are estimated to be easy to fabricate by squeeze casting are used as strengtheners for composite materials. As a matrix material, Al-7wt.%Si-0.3wt.%Mg(AC4C) has been used. In case of Ni/AC4C and Ni-Cr/AC4C composite, $750^{\circ}C$ melt temperature and minimum 25MPa squeezing pressure are needed to produce sound composite materials. The observation of interfacial reaction zone at various heat treatment condition shows that atsolutionizing temperature of above $520^{\circ}C$, the interfacial reaction zone increases proportionally with heat treatment time and the reaction products formed by interfacial reactions are mainly composed by $Al_{3}Ni$ and $Al_{3}Ni_{2}$ phases.

  • In DC electric railway systems, the feeding currrnt is not permitted to flow backward in almost all the substations and the pantograph voltages at the regenerating cars rise extremely by the voltage drop of the resistance of the feeder line. In order to prevent the overrise of the pantograph voltage in power regenerating cars, the squeezing circuits for the regenerative current are equipped and this leads to double losses, which are an extra worn-out of the brake-shoes and an ineffective use of regenerative power. In this study, the insertion of resistors in the feeder line system is proposed as a possible method for the effective utilization of the regenerative power in the electric railways. Also it is investigated how the output voltages of substations affect the effective use of regenertive capability. The investigation results show that the energy savings and the reduction of the worn-out of the brake-shoe can be achieved at the same time by the insertion of resistors in the feeder line system.

  • The most general feature of contact zone among the mechanical components is elliptical circle. In particular, continuously variable transmission (CVT) of toroidal type has elliptical shape of contact zone under the elastohydrodynamic lubrication condition, where the power is transmitted by the shearing the efluid. Due to the traction of the shear behaviors of lubricant over the small elliptical contact zone, high power of torque is transmitted. During the power transmission, many kinds of mechanical movements occur such as squeezing, sliding, rolling and spinning. The spinning effect that is not common contact behavior in tribological components frequently makes significant abnormal wear damage. In this work, the analysis of elliptical contact of elastohydrodynamic lubrication with spin effect is performed, which will give very useful information to understand the traction behaviors in toroidal type of CVT system.

홀센서를 이용한 파워 윈도우용 안티핀치 시스템 (Anti-Pinch System for Power Window by Using Hall Sensor)

  • Recently the power window system is widely used in automobiles to increase convenience of passengers and drivers. However some accidents or injuries have been caused by malfunction or misusage of the system. Therefore safety regulations of the system to cope up with these accidents have been strengthened gradually in many countries. Especially in America, since 2005, all vehicles which had power window system should be contented with FMVSS 118-S5 regulations. We suggest very low-cost anti-pinch window control system satisfying the regulation in this paper. Hall sensors are used and installed around a motor rotor with ring magnet to detect motor speed for anti-pinch. The optimum number of hall sensor and location angel of them are mainly investigated to get sufficient speed resolution for anti-pinch. Through some experiments, the validity of the suggested system was verified to satisfy the regulation.

  • 대심도 암반을 굴착함에 따라 암석강도 및 암반응력 등의 특성에 따라 Rockburst 등과 같은 취성파괴 및 Squeezing 등과 거동을 나타낼 수 있으며, 이러한 대심도 암반거동은 터널 및 지하 공동 시공중 위험요소로 작용하여 안정성에 심각한 영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 대심도 암반구간에 터널을 건설하는 경우에는 합리적인 설계 및 시공을 달성하기 위해서는 대심도 암반에 대한 지질 및 암반특성을 정확히 이해하는 것이 필요하며, 대심도 암반특성에 적합한 보강 및 시공대책을 수립하도록 하여야 한다. 본 고에서는 대심도 암반구간에서의 위험도 평가 및 터널 설계사례를 검토하여, 대심도 암반특성을 고려한 터널구조물 설계시 합리적인 방안을 도출하고자 하였다.

  • The Compression molding process is widely used in the automotive industry to produce parts that are large, thin, light-weight, strong and stiff. Compression molded parts are formed by squeezing a glass fiber reinforced polypropylene sheet, known a glass mat thermoplastic(GMT), between two heated cavity surfaces. In this study, the anisotropic viscosity of the Unidirectional Fiber-Reinforced Plastic Composites is measured using the parallel plastometer and the composites is treated as an incompressible Newtonian fluid. The effects of molding parameter and fiber contents ratio on longitudinal/transverse viscosity are also discussed.
