붐방제기의 균일량 살포를 위한 제어시스템 개발 (Development of a Control System for Uniform Application Rate on a Self-Propelled Boom Sprayer)

  • A control system for a self-propelled boom sprayer to spray at uniform application rate was developed and evaluated. The ground speed of the sprayer was converted into voltage. The voltage was used as an input signal. Output signal was current of a servo motor, that controlled application pressure of the sprayer with a feedback control system. Spraying was executed at the pressure of 20~55 psi and the speed of 0.640~0.696 km/hr and 1.040-1.131 km/hr. Although the pressure and the speed of sprayer were changed continuously, application rate was tried to keep a nearly constant amount of 666.67 L/ha. This result showed that the developed control system for uniform application rate was adoptable for the self-propelled sprayer.

  • Structural characteristic of a rice polisher of small size was analyzed to improve its performance and to utilize such data in developing a rice polisher of large size. Spraying characteristic of nozzles which were used for rice polishing was evaluated by a machine vision system. Internal pressure of the polishing chamber was also measured according to outlet resistance, water spraying, and roller shaft speed. In addition, the performance of the polisher was analyzed based on whiteness and broken ratio according to operating conditions.

  • An experiment was conducted to characterize water droplet charging performance of an electrostatic spraying nozzle for an electrostatic wet scrubber. Charge-to-mass ratios, the nozzle currents divided by the mass flow rate of water were obtained with respect to the applied voltage to the ring-electrode for 2 different flow conditions. It was shown that the charge-to-mass ratio increased in proportion to the applied voltage and tended to saturate at a certain higher voltage.

  • 1. 미스트를 장시간 분사시킬 경우 분사기간동안 온도강하는 분사량에 무관하게 일정하나 분사종료 후 온도상승은 분사량이 많으면 온도상승이 현저히 지연된다. 반면 증가된 습도는 장시간 유지되기 때문에 적정 분사량이 존재한다. 2. 시설하우스내 고온장애와 습도장애를 극복하고 보다 유리한 실내환경을 유지하기 위해서는 적정 미스트 분무량을 유지시켜야 하며 동시에 분무시간과 휴지시간을 충분히 고려해야만 한다.

  • Most of shoes manufacturing processes are not yet automated, which puts restrictions on the increase of productivity. Among them, adhesive application processes particularly are holding the most workers and working hours. In addition, its working conditions are very poor due to the toxicity of adhesive agents. In case of automating adhesive application processes by using robots, the robot teaching by playback is difficult to produce high productivity because the kinds of shoes to be taught mount up to several thousands. Therefore, it is essential to generate the robot working paths automatically according to the kind, the size, and the right and left of shoes, and also to teach them to the robot automatically. This study deals with automated adhesive spraying to shoe outsoles and uppers by using a robot, and develops the program to generate three-dimensional robot working paths off-line based on CAD data. First, the three-dimensional data of an outsole outline or an upper profiling line are extracted from the two-dimensional CAD drawing file or the three-dimensional scanner. Next, based on the extracted data and the nozzle conditions for adhesive spraying, a robot working path is generated automatically. This research work is the core in automating adhesive spraying processes, and will do much for increasing productivity of shoes manufacturing.

액체호닝에 의한 금형 자동 사상기계개발 및 가공 특성 (Polishing Characteristics and Development of Automatic Die Polishing Machine by Liquid Honing)

  • The automatic die polishing machine by liquid honing has been developed and experimented on the surface of machined die. The goal of development in the automatic die polishing machine by liquid honing is to increase the accuracy and the productivity in die polishing. To reach this goal, the polishing machine consists of the automatic measuring device for contour of die, the nozzle and pumping system to spray the powder mixed with liquid, and the 3-axis guides. Before polishing, the measuring device with a semiconductor laser scans the surface of mould to get the data of contour. The data store a PC and use to control the nozzle head to move above a couple of centimeters on the machined surface of die. The experimental parameters are the spraying time, the pressure, the size of abrasive grain and the mixing ratio between abrasive grain and liquid. The surface roughness is measured on the polished die which are SKDl 1 and Al7075 machined by NC. The surface roughness indicates the values of Rmax 0.5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for Al7075 and Rmax 1.4${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for SKDl 1. It reduces the polishing time significantly and reduces the monotonous work for labors. As the results, the liquid honing system is useful method to apply for the die polishing and the automatic die polishing machine using liquid honing shows that it's very effective processing ability.

  • This study was aimed at observing the influence of laser irradiation on a $ZrO_2-8%Y_2O_3$ ceramic coating layer fabricated by plasma spraying. The $ZrO_2-8%Y_2O_3$ ceramic powder was plasma sprayed onto SS400 carbon steel substrate and laser irradiated on the coating layer under various conditions of laser power and beam diameters. As to the as-sprayed specimen and laser-treated specimen, a hardness test and a microstructure analysis were performed. Hardness was measured by a microhardness tester; microstructure was observed by an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope. The result was that the microstructure of the laser-irradiated coating layer was dense; porosities almost disappeared and hardness increased. It was also observed that microcracks occured in the laser-irradiated coating layer.

살수장치(撒水裝置)를 이용(利用)한 송이산 관리(管理)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Use of Sprinkler System for Production Forest Management of Pine Mushroom (Tricholoma matsutake))

  • 송이발생임지내의 지면에 살수장치를 고정설치하고 이를 이용하여, 솔잎혹파리의 우화기간 동안에는 성충활동 최성 시각에 저농도의 약제(deltamethrin 1% EC, 2000배액)를 매일 1회씩 살포, 성충을 살충시킴으로써 솔잎혹파리 피해를 효과적 으로 방제하는 한편, 방제후에는 주기적으로 관수를 실시하여 송이의 증수 및 품질을 향상시킬 목적으로 강원도 양양군에서 2000년도부터 2년 간 실시하였다. 솔잎혹파리의 평균우화시기는 5월 하순-7월 상순까지 약 40일간, 50% 우화일은 6월6일, 우화최성기는 6월상중순이며 이 기간의 우화율은 전체의 80%이상이었다. 지면약제살포구의 충영형성율은 3.5%로 대조구의 51.3 %에 비하여 92.3%의 높은 방제효과(수간주사: 82.6%)가 있었다. 송이 발생시기는 9윌 중순부터 10월 상순까지 약 35일간이며 발생최성기는 9월 하순- 10월 상순까지 약 15일간으로 이 기간의 평균발생율은 총 발생량의 80% 범위였다. 지면약제살포 후 2개월(8월-10월 )간 주기적(주당 30mm)으로 관수실시지역은 74.3%(중랑비 110%)의 송이 증수효과가 있었으며, 품등도 우량한 것으로 나타났다. 살수장치를 이용한 송이산 관리지역의 ha당 송이생산 가격은 8,670천원으로서, 시설 및 관리에 소요된 비용(4,360천원)을 제한 순수익 4,310천원은 대조구에 비하여 당년에 약 5%의 경제적인 효과가 있었으며 시설의 사용기간(5년 이상)을 감안하면 경제성은 높은 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 회전익 드론의 후류에서 발생하는 강한 유동과 살포되는 농약 노즐에서의 스프레이 유동이 동반될 경우, 극심한 기체의 요동과 함께 액적 유동은 바람의 영향을 크게 받게 된다. 특히 액적은 공기역학적인 항력의 영향을 받기 때문에 단순한 제자리 비행과는 달리 전진 비행을 할 경우 또는 측풍을 받고 있을 경우, 살포 영역에 큰 변화가 발생한다. 이로 인하여 드론을 활용한 농약살포에는 보다 큰 비산의 위험성이나 위치간의 낙하분산에 차이가 커져 효율성이 떨어질 수 있는 문제가 생긴다. 따라서 적절한 수치 모델링과 이를 적용한 전산 시뮬레이션을 통하여 다양한 비행 및 대기 조건을 적용할 수 있는 예측 도구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 로터에서 나오는 강한 하풍과 드론의 비행속도에 따른 액적 유동 특성에 대해 실험 및 수치해석을 진행하였으며, 액적이 분포하는 확률밀도함수를 구하여 서로 비교함으로써 농약살포용 드론에서 액적을 살포할 시 효율성을 증진시킬 수 있는 분사 시스템을 구축하고자 한다.

주행속도 보상형 붐방제기의 개발 (Development of a Flow Compensating Boom Sprayer for the Speed Variation)

  • A variable flow-controlled boom sprayer was developed and evaluated. Field tests were conducted to evaluate the adoptability of the sprayerr with optimal conditions. Negative response time was obtained from the field test because pump and PTO were interlocked with the speed of sprayer. Another reason for the negative value was due to the definition of the response time. With constant on-time control, the system was unstable at the conditions of small tolerance and long control interval. The performances of the spray system were stable and accurate. The stable and synchronous responses were achieved with a variable on-time control. The flow control system with an optimal condition (1.0 sec of control interval, 2 of damping ratio, 1% of tolerance) provided the proper performance for uniform spraying. A standard operating procedure of the flow compensating boom sprayer for the ground speed variation was presented and recommended.
