요버헤드 가이던스 레일 추종 방식에 의한 과수방제기의 무인 주행 (Autonomous-guided orchard sprayer using overhead guidance rail)

  • Since the application of chemicals in confined spaces under the canopy of an orchard is hazardous work, it is needed to develop an autonomous guidance system for an orchard sprayer. The autonomous guidance system developed in this research could steer the vehicle by tracking an overhead guidance rail, which was installed on an existing frame structure. The autonomous guidance system consisted of an 80196 kc microprocessor, an inclinometer, two interface circuits of actuators for steering and ground speed control, and a fuzzy control algorithm. In addition, overhead guidance rails for both straight and curved paths were devised, and a trolley was designed to move smoothly along the overhead guidance rails. Evaluation tests showed that the experimental vehicle could travel along the desired path at a ground speed of 30 $\sim$ 50 cm/s with a RMS error of 5 cm and maximum deviation of less than 12 cm. Even when the vehicle started with an initial offset or a deflected heading angle, it could move quickly to track the desired path after traveling 2 $\sim$ 3 m. The vehicle could also complete turns with a curvature of 1 m. However, at a ground speed of 50 cm/s, the vehicle tended to over-steer, resulting in a zigzag motion along the straight path, and tended to turn outward from the projected line of the guidance rail.

붐방제기 살포장치의 설계요인 구명을 위한 실험적 연구(II) -노즐의 분무유형 및 벼의 피복특성- (Design Factors of Boom Sprayer(II) -Spray Droplet Size and Coverage Characteristics on Rice Plants-)

  • This study was conducted to find the design factors of spraying device of the boom sprayer for low volume application. Specific objectives of this study were 1) to select proper nozzles for broadcast spraying and row crop spraying by the nozzle spray characterisic experiment, and 2) to investigate the coverage characteristic of rice plant at the row crop spraying. The results of this study are summarized as follows. (1) From the tested results on the droplet diameter spectrum and spray pattern the standard flat-fan nozzle and drift guard nozzle were judged as appropriate for the broadcasting. Even flat-fan nozzle showed similar span values to standard flat-fan nozzles and drift guard nozzle : however, the nozzles were found to be inappropriate for broadcasting because of their spray pattern. Hollow cone nozzle showed relatively small span values and uniform spray pattern. (2) For the upper and lower sides of the rice plants, coverage rates of even flat-fan nozzles and hollow cone nozzles were maximum at the second row, but decreased rapidly after the third row. For the middle side of the rice plants, coverage rates of them were maximum at the first row, but decreased rapidly. When one nozzle was tested, C.V. values were in the range of 90~160% and 60~160% on entire heights of rice plant for even flat-fan nozzles and hollow cone nozzles respectively. C.V. values at other parts were poor. Spray coverage rate at the middle part was improved by overlapping the nozzles whereas there was little difference on the upper and lower part of rice plants. (3) For spraying lower part of rice plant between rows, even flat-fan nozzles and hollow cone nozzle were judged as appropriate, but in order to ensure the uniform coverage, distance between nozzles, recommended to be less than 90cm.

전자용 붐방제기의 붐의 좌우 경사각 자동제어 (Automatic Left/Right Boom Angles Control System for Upland Field)

  • Boom sprayers have been known by their excellency in field efficiency worker’s safety and pest control efficacy. The boom sprayer in Korea that was developed for paddy field is not suitable for upland field of which shape is irregular and inclination is steep, due to heavy chemical tank long boom width and manual on-off control of spraying. The goal of the study was to develope a boom control system that could control boom angles of left and right boom automatically and independently corresponding to local field slope. The prime mover was selected as a cultivating tractor. Main results of this study were as follows. 1. Ultrasonic sensor whose response time was 0.1s and response angle was within $\pm$20$^{\circ}$was selected to measure distance. Voltage output of the sensor(X, Volt) had a highly significant linear relationship with the vertical distance between the sensor and ground surface(Y, mm) as follows; Y=0.0036X-0.437 2. Left and right section of the boom could be folded up by a position control device(on-off control) which could control the left and right boom independently corresponding to local slope by equalizing distances between the sensor and boom at the center and left/right boom. Most reliable DB(dead band) was experimentally selected to be 75$\Omega$(6cm). 3. At traveling velocity of 0.3~0.5m/s RMS of error between desired and achieved height was less than 4.5cm The developed boom angle controller and boom linkage system were evaluated to be successful in achieving the height control accuracy target of $\pm$10cm.

휴반용 분무기의 Nozzle에 관한 연구(I) (A Study on the Wide Reach Nozzle of Sprayer(I))

  • Nozzle is a part of sprayer and is consists of several elements; swirl plate, vortexchamber, cap and body. The travelling distance of sprayed particles is important in the wide reach nozzle. The factors to influence the travelling distance of the sprayed particles may be the helical angle of swirl plate, the distance of vortex hamber, the slope and the size of cap hole. The study was conducted to examine the effects of these factors on the travelling distance. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) There was higher positive correlation(+0.96) between the maximum travelling distance for which amount of sprayed particles was 5cc/cm min. and centro-position of the travelling distance. 2) There was a higher positive correlation(+0.85) between total discharge of sprayed particles and the centro-position of the travelling distance. 3) Main effects and interaction effects of helical angle, pressure, vortex chamber distance and cap slope were significantly affected the travelling distance of sprayed particles. 4) Main effects of helical angle, pressure and cap slope were especially highly significant to influence the travelling disance. 5) Helical angle, pressure, vortex chamber distance and cap slope influenced spraying forward velocity of dise hole, among which cap slope and pressure of nozzle was the most important factors. 6) Effect of change of helical angle on the travelling distance of sprayed particles, was generally a quadratic, the least value of the distance being showed about $45^{\circ}$ and the largest at about $15^{\circ}\;and\;55^{\circ}$, the decreasing rate of the change between $15^{\circ};and\;25^{\circ}$ was very small. 7) Effect of change of pressure on the travelling distance sprayed particles was generally a linear, the increasing rate of the charge was about 1.68, which was the most effective compared to the change of the other factors. 8) Effect of change of vortex chamber distance on the spraying distance was also generally a linear, the increasing rate being about 0.16, which was the least effective. 9) Effect of change of cap slope on the travelling distance was also generally a linear, the increasing rate was about 0.61 and its effect was about medium.

국내 농산물우수관리인증 농산물의 미등록농약 오염 실태 조사 (Monitoring of Unregistered Pesticides Contaminated in the Domestic Crops Grown under Good Agricultural Practices)

  • 2014년부터 2016년 5월까지 3,313건의 농산물우수관리 기준으로 재배되는 농산물(GAP 농산물)에 대한 미등록농약 오염 실태를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 미등록농약 오염에 의한 부적합 건수가 잔류허용기준을 초과에 의한 부적합 건수보다 훨씬 많았다. 미등록농약이 검출되어 부적합 판정된 GAP 농산물의 대부분은 소면적엽채류 작물이었는데 그 이유는 이들 작물에 등록된 농약이 곡류나 과일류보다 훨씬 부족하기 때문으로 확인되었다. 또한 방제가 끝난 농약 살포기를 세척하여도 살포기 내에 농약이 어느 정도 잔류할 수 있으며, 이 때 잔류한 농약이 허용되지 않은 작물에 비의도적으로 이행될 수 있음이 확인되었다. 따라서 침체된 우리나라의 농산물우수관리제도(Good Agricultural Practices, GAP)를 활성화하기 위해서는 모든 농작물에 농약이 충분히 등록되어야 하고, 또한 농약 살포기에 잔류한 농약이 완전히 세척되지 않는 경우를 감안하여 미등록 농약이 비의도적으로 농작물에 이행되는 것이 일정량 허용되어야 할 것이다.

전신복장법을 이용한 농약 조제 및 살포 과정 중 살충제 Imidacloprid에 대한 사과 과수원 농작업자의 노출 평가 (Exposure Assessment of Apple Orchard Workers to the Insecticide Imidacloprid Using Whole Body Dosimetry During Mixing/Loading and Application)

  • 전신복장법(whole body dosimetry, WBD)을 이용한 사과 과수원 농약 살포자의 살포농약 조제 및 살포 과정 중 imidacloprid 수화제 사용에 의한 노출 특성 및 위해성을 평가하기 위하여 농약 살포 전 방제복, 장갑, 마스크, 호흡 노출량 측정 장치를 착용한 후 speed sprayer를 이용하여 acephate+imidacloprid 25(20+5)% 1,000배 희석액을 3,000 L/ha/살포자의 비율로 청주 인근의 10개 사과 과수원에 살포하였다. 노출시험은 조제자와 살포자에 대하여 각각 나누어 수행하였다. 시험농약은 HPLC-DAD를 이용하여 분석하였으며, 부위별 평균 회수율은 81.5-108.6%, 평균 포장회수율은 73.8-86.7%로서 모두 적합하였다. 조제자 및 살포자의 노출량은 imidacloprid 총량 대비 0.0014-0.0279%이었으며, 조제자와 살포자 모두 장갑의 노출량이 가장 높았다. 또한 농약 살포자의 농약 사용에 대한 위해성을 측정하기 위한 안전한계(margin of safety, MOS)는 조제자와 살포자 각각 97-355, 46-196으로서 speed sprayer를 이용한 imidacloprid 살포 시 사과 과수원 농약 살포자에 대한 위해도는 매우 낮았다.

터보 팬 2류체 노즐로 구성한 포그 분무장치를 이용한 온실 내 공기의 냉각 효과 (Cooling Effect of Air in Greenhouse Using A Fog Sprayer Consisted of Two-fluid Nozzle with Turbo Fan)

  • 여름철 고온기 온실 내 효율적 증발냉방을 위하여 다량 포그 분무가 가능하고 설치비용이 저렴하도록 한 터보팬 2류체 노즐로 포그 분무장치를 구성하고 소형 유리온실에 2.2 m 높이로 설치하여 냉방시험을 실시하였다. 이 장치의 분무시험 결과 평균분무입경이 $29{\mu}m$이고 1대당 포그 분무량은 $160m{\ell}/min$로 비산반경 2 m이내에서 입자들이 모두 증발하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 장치를 평면적 $228m^2$인 단동 유리온실에 2대를 설치하여 냉방실험한 결과, 외기의 온도 $30.2^{\circ}C$, 상대습도 81.2%인 때 온실 내 공기의 온도 $28.8^{\circ}C$, 상대습도 87.5%의 낮은 냉각효과를 나타내었다. 문헌 조사와 냉방실험 결과로부터 여름철 우리나라 남부지역의 외기온 $35^{\circ}C$를 기준으로 단동온실은 50% 차광에서 증발냉각에 의해 온실 내 공기온도를 외기온보다 $2{\sim}3^{\circ}C$ 낮추려면 환기회수 1회/분, 물분무량은 $10m{\ell}/min/m^2$인 것으로 추정되었다.

세라믹 용사된 S45C강재의 기계적 특성 및 피로강도 (Mechanical Characteristics and Fatigue Strength of Ceramic-Sprayed S45C Steel)

  • This paper is to investigate of microhardness, adhesive strength, tensile strength, and fatigue strength of ceramic sprayed steel. Rotary bending fatigue tests have been conducted at room temperature in air and 3% NaCl solution using specimens of carbon steel(S45C) with sprayed coating layers of Ni-4.5% Al(under coating) and $TiO_2$ (top coating). The microhardness has been improved at $800^{\circ}C$ heat treatment and 150mm spraying distance. Tensile strength of the sprayed steel is dependent on the substrate strength. The fatigue strength of the sprayed steel is larger than that of substrate due to blasting and constraint surface of plastic deformation effect. In low stress level, the corrosion fatigue strength of the sprayed steel were lower than that of fatigue strength in air by corrosion.

  • Autonomous speedsprayer operation was conducted using a fuzzy controller combined with a DGPS. The signal of DGPS receiver and signals of four ultrasonic sensors were processed in real time. The speedsprayer was steered with two levers controlled by two hydraulic cylinders. The fuzzy controller has two inputs; direction of running obtained from the DGPS receiver and distance from trees measured by ultrasonic sensors. The operation times of the hydraulic cylinders were inferred as outputs of the fuzzy controller. Field test results showed that the speedsprayer could be autonomously operated by the developed fuzzy controller including turning operation in the end of the tree row. The ultrasonic sensors contributed a little to performance of the autonomous operation, but the speedsprayer could avoid trees or obstacles in emergent situations with them.

  • 국내에 보급된 방제기는 인력분무기, 동력 분무기, 동력 살분무기, 스피드 스프레이어, 붐방제기 등이 있다. 그 중 동력경운기에 탑재하거나 트랙터에 견인되는 동력분무기를 주축으로 기계화되어 있다. 작은 입경의 분무입자로서 가급적 적정량을 균일하게 뿌릴 때 방제효율을 높일 수 있는데도 불구하고, 동력분무기에 의한 액제 살포는 원거리 살포에 따라 분무입자의 입경 분포가 다양하며 대부분 분무입자가 매우 크므로 고른 살포를 기대하기 어렵기 때문에 약액을 1000대 1로 희석하여 흠뻑 적실 정도로 다량 살포를 하여 살포효율을 높이고 있다. 그러나 이러한 방제 방법은 효율성, 작업능률과 환경의 오염 측면에서 상당한 문제로 지적되고 있다.
