키넥트 모션인식과 ECG센서의 심박수 측정을 기반한 스마트 원격 재활운동 시스템 (Smart Remote Rehabilitation System Based on the Measurement of Heart Rate from ECG Sensor and Kinect Motion-Recognition)

  • The Microsoft Kinect is a motion sensing input device which is widely used for many motion recognition applications such as fitness, sports, and rehabilitation. Until now, most of remote rehabilitation systems with the Microsoft Kinect have allowed the user or patient to do rehabilitation or fitness by following the motion of a video screen. However in this paper we propose a smart remote rehabilitation system with the Microsoft Kinect motion sensor and a wearable ECG sensor which can allow patients to offer monitoring of the individual's performance and personalized feedback on rehabilitation exercises. The proposed noble smart remote rehabilitation is able to monitor and measure the state of the patient's condition during rehabilitation exercise, and transmits it to the prescriber. This system can give feedback to a prescriber, a doctor and a patient for improving and recovering motor performance. Thus, the efficient rehabilitation training service can be provided to patient in response to changes of patient's condition during exercise.

철봉 몸 접어 KOVACS 기술동작의 운동학적 분석 (Kinematic Analysis of Piked KOVACS Skill on the Horizontal Bars)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the kinematical characteristics of gymnasts who can perform the KOVACS skill, and to grope for the better KOVACS Piked motion. The subjects were 3 male national gymnasts and were filmed with video cameras. And kinematic data were collected from the event of maximum knee flexion to the re-grasp the bar after airborne motion during KOVACS Piked motion. And the following conclusion were drawn; S1 took the enough time and inadequate height for performing KOVACS Piked motion. S2 showed the inadequate time and height during airborne motion with the large forward-backward and left-right movement. S3 showed the better KOVACS Piked movement among gymnasts, but the weak point of S3 was the large left-right shift. Based on the above conclusions, the gymnasts should be trained the enough time and height for the effective airborne movement and to reduce the left-right movement.

대중매체에 나타난 트랙 슈트(Track Suit)의 상징성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Symbolism of Track Suits Shown in Mass Media)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine track suits which appear in mass media and to attempt to understand their embedded symbolism. Hence, a theoretical inquiry and case study on suit tracks were carried out. The case study was confined to the period since 2000, when sportswear emerged as a megatrend in fashion, to 2012. Occurrences of track suits in film, TV dramas, music videos, advertisements, and fashion collections were examined. Research indicated that the track suits in film or TV drama worked as items to give a change to coordination, material and decoration, so that the track suits highlighted the characters in them rather than emphasizing external factors or their own design. They were used as tools to indicate the sensual and dynamical feminine image in the rap and hip hop genres in music video. They also showed the dynamic image of modern woman via advertisements of sports brands. In the case of celebrity fashion, both inside and outside Korea, they introduced the track suits in a comfortable and sensual manner through both official and unofficial image releases. In the fashion collections, transboundary deconstructiveness was strongly expressed in terms of design, material, color, and production method. The case study in this research indicated that the symbolism in track suits was characterized as transboundary deconstruction as well as value in dynamic femininity, and products from reactionary nostalgia.

보행용 전문 신발과 일반 운동화의 운동역학적 비교 분석 (Sport biomechanical comparative analyses between general sporting shoe and functional walking shoe)

  • This study was performed to investigate the kinematic and kinetic differences between functional walking shoe(FWS) and general sports shoe(GSS). The subjects for this study were 4 male adults who had the walking pattern of rearfoot strike with normal feet. The movement of one lower leg was measured using force platform and 3 video cameras while the subjects walked at the velocity of 2/1.5 m/s. The findings of this study were as follows 1. The angle of lower leg-ground and angle of knee with FWS was greater than with GSS at the moment of strike the floor and the moment of second peak ground reaction force. The decreasing rate of angle of ankle was smaller in FWS from the strike phase to the second peak ground reaction force. These mean upright walking and round walking along the shoe surface. 2. The maximal Increased angle of Achilles tendon and the minimal decreased angle of rearfoot were smaller in FWS very significantly(p<0.001). Thus FWS prevent the excessive pronation of ankle and have good of rear-foot control. 3. The vortical ground reaction force and the rate of it to the BW were smaller in FWS statistically(p<0.001). The loading rate was smaller in FWS, too, and thess represent the reduction of load on ankle joint and prevention of injuries on it.

  • 사람이 따라 하는 능력을 평가하는 스코어는 아동의 발달 단계 혹은 골프, 무용 동작 등을 점검하는 좋은 수단이 될 수 있다. 또한, 이는 AR, VR 응용에서 HCI로도 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 동작을 주도해서 수행하는 시범자와 그 동작을 따라 하는 참여자 간의 동작 유사도를 평가하는 방안을 제시하고, 여기서 우리는 Openpose의 키포인트 벡터 유사도의 유클리디안 L2 거리를 활용하는 동작 유사도를 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 DTW를 사용하기 때문에 시간 지연차가 있는 동작에 유연하게 대처할 수 있다.

Accuracy improvement in motion tracking of tennis balls using nano-sensors technology

  • Tracking the motion of tennis balls is a challenging task in using cameras around the tennis court. The most important instance of the tennis trajectory is the time of impact and touch the court which in some cases could not be detected precisely. In the present study, we aim to present a novel design of tennis balls equipped with nano-sensors to detect the touch of the ball to the court. In the impact instance, tennis ball receives significant acceleration and change in the linear momentum. This large acceleration could deform a small-beam structure with piezoelectric layer to produce voltage. The voltage could further be utilized to produce infrared waves which could be easily detected by infrared detection sensors installed on the same video cameras or separately near the tennis court. Therefore, the exact time of the impact could be achieved with higher accuracy than image analyzing method. A detailed dynamical property of such sensors is discussed using nonlinear beam equations. The results show that within the acceleration range of tennis ball during an impact, the piezoelectric patches of the nano-sensors in the tennis ball could produce enough voltages to propagate infrared waves to be detected by infrared detectors.

HOG 알고리즘과 CNN을 이용한 객체 검출 시스템에 관한 연구 (Research on Objects Tracking System using HOG Algorithm and CNN)

  • For the purpose of predicting credit card customer churn accurately through data analysis Detecting and tracking objects in continuous video is essential in self-driving cars, security and surveillance systems, sports analytics, medical image processing, and more. Correlation tracking methods such as Normalized Cross Correlation(NCC) and Sum of Absolute Differences(SAD) are used as an effective way to measure the similarity between two images. NCC, a representative correlation tracking method, has been useful in real-time environments because it is relatively simple to compute and effective. However, correlation tracking methods are sensitive to rotation and size changes of objects, making them difficult to apply to real-time changing videos. To overcome these limitations, this paper proposes an object tracking method using the Histogram of Oriented Gradients(HOG) feature to effectively obtain object data and the Convolution Neural Network(CNN) algorithm. By using the two algorithms, the shape and structure of the object can be effectively represented and learned, resulting in more reliable and accurate object tracking. In this paper, the performance of the proposed method is verified through experiments and its superiority is demonstrated.

스포츠 에어로빅스 Straddle Jump to Push up 동작의 운동학적 분석 (The Kinematical Analysis of Straddle Jump to Push up Motion on Sports Aerobics)

  • 본 연구는 4년 이상의 경력을 가진 스포츠 에어로빅스 대표선수 4명을 대상으로 Straddle jump to push up 동작의 운동학적 분석을 통해 점프와 착지 동작에 대한 정확한 동작을 이해하고 나아가 지도자의 효율적인 지도에 필요한 정확한 동작의 진단과 평가에 도움을 주며, 그 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 비디오 카메라 2대를 사용하여 촬영하였고, 카메라의 속도는 60frame/sec.로 하였으며, 분석을 위한 운동학적 변인들은 신체중심 높이의 변위, 좌 우 어깨관절 각 변위, 좌 우 주관절 각 변위, 좌 우 고관절 각 변위, 좌 우 슬관절 각 변위, 좌 우 발끝의 속도이며, 각각 개인별 3회씩 수행하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 국면별 신체중심 높이의 변위는 event 1, 4, 5($79.05{\pm}9.07,\;46.41{\pm}3.65,\;18.66{\pm}0.54cm$)에서 낮은 신체중심의 높이를 나타냈으며, event 2, 3($120.80{\pm}6.13,\;148.12{\pm}9.19cm$)에서는 높은 신체중심 높이를 나타냈다. 이상을 종합해 볼 때 스포츠 에어로빅스의 Straddle Jump to Push up 동작, 즉 점프동작은 파워를 나타내는 중요한 동작이므로 충분한 유연성과 순발력이 무엇보다도 중요한 요인이라는 결론을 얻었으며, 단순한 근육의 강화가 아닌 특정 파워와 힘의 발달, 각각의 신체분절들의 효율적인 통합이 이루어지도록 훈련시키는 것이 중요하다고 사료된다.

신문 빅데이터와 키워드 분석을 이용한 홈트레이닝 트렌드 분석 (Home training trend analysis using newspaper big data and keyword analysis)

  • 최근 코로나19(COVID-19)라는 신종 바이러스로 인해 사람들은 외출을 자제하고 집안에 있는 시간이 길어졌다. 그로 인해 활동량이 급감하고 체중이 증가하여 건강에 대한 관심이 더욱 높아졌고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 홈트레이닝이 대안이 될 수 있다. 이에 홈트레이닝의 트렌드를 알아보기 위해 뉴스분석시스템인 빅카인즈(BIG KINDS)에서 제공하는 뉴스를 활용하여 2019년 12월 1일부터 2020년 11월 30일까지의 기사를 수집하였다. 빈도분석, 가중도에 따른 관계도 분석, 연관어 분석을 실시하였고, 빅카인즈에서 개발한 알고리즘을 활용한 프로그램으로 분석을 실시하였다. 결론적으로 첫째, 홈트레이닝은 인공지능의 기술과 등장이 홈트레이닝을 주도하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 홈트레이닝은 이동통신사의 관련한 컨텐츠와 영상서비스 위주로 이루어지고 있음을 추측할 수 있다. 셋째, 운동 종목으로는 필라테스의 선호도가 높고, 이와 관련된 운동용품의 수요가 증가함에 따라 상표출원도 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다음연구에서는 연구방법론을 보완하고 다양한 분석을 통해 향후 시행될 여러 빅데이터 연구의 기초자료로 활용될 것을 기대한다.

달리기 속도의 증가에 따른 운동화 중저의 경도와 신발바닥의 두께가 신발의 볼 굴곡각도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Midsole Hardness and Sole Thickness of Sport Shoes on Ball Flex Angle with the Increment of Running Velocity)

  • The purposes of this study were to determine the influence of midsole hardness and sole thickness of sports shoes on ball flex angle and position with increment of running velocity. The subjects employed for this study were 10 college students who did not have lower extremity injuries for the last one year and whose running pattern was rearfoot striker of normal foot. The shoes used in this study had 3 different midsole hardness of shore A 40, shore A 50, shore A 60 and 3 different sole thickness of 17cm, 19cm, 21cm. The subjects were asked to run at 3 different speed of 2.0m/sec, 3.5m/sec, 5.0m/sec and their motions were videotaped with 4 S-VHS video cameras and 2 high speed video cameras and simultaneously measured with a force platform. The following results were obtained after analysing and comparing the variables. Minimum angle of each ball flex position were increased with the increment of running velocity and shoe sole thickness(P<0.05), but mid-sole hardness did not affect minimum ball flex angle. The position which minimum angle was shown as smallest was 'D'. Midsole hardness and sole thickness did not affect time to each ball flex minimum angle, total angular displacement of ball flex angle, and total angular displacement of torsion angle(P<0.05). The position which minimum angle was appeared to be earliest was similar at walking velocity, and E and F of midfoot region at running velocity. Total angular displacement of ball flex position tended to increase as shifted to heel. It was found that running velocity had effects on ball flex angle variables, but shoe sole thickness partially affected. It would be considered that running velocity made differences between analysis variables at walking and running when designing shoes. Also, it was regarded that shoes would be developed at separated region, because ball flex angle and position was shown to be different at toe and heel region. It is necessary that midsole hardness and thickness required to functional shoes be analyzed in the further study.
