결혼유형과 스포츠활동 참여유형에 따른 결혼건강과 결혼생활만족의 차이에 관한 분석 (Investigation on Marital Health and Marital Life Satisfaction based on Types of Marriage and Sport Activity Participation)

  • 많은 국제결혼가정들은 그들이 이전에 경험해보지 못한 상당한 수준의 스트레스를 새로운 문화에 적응하기 위해 경험한다. 본 연구는 결혼의 유형과 스포츠활동 참여유형이 결혼건강과 결혼생활만족에 미치는 영향을 연구했다. 329명의 참여자들은 결혼유형(국제결혼/국내결혼)과 스포츠활동 참여유형(배우자와 함께/따로)에 따라 총 4개의 그룹으로 나뉘어졌으며 일원다변량 분산분석을 실시하여 결혼건강과 결혼생활만족의 그룹 간 차이를 확인했다. 결과적으로 문화적 그리고 언어적 차이와는 상관없이, 배우자와 함께 스포츠 활동에 참여한 응답자들이 그렇지 못한 응답자들보다 4개의 요인(유대감, 의사소통, 가치공유, 결혼생활만족)에서 높은 결과를 보였다. 본 연구는 배우자와 함께 참여하는 스포츠활동이 결혼생활에 긍정적 영향을 준다는 것을 확인하였으며 그러한 결과는 다문화사회에서 사람들의 더 나은 결혼생활을 돕기 위한 통찰력 있는 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The Development Process Model of Sports Fan Loyalty via CSR of Professional Sports Teams

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate how sports fans' loyalty is built via CSR activities of professional sports teams. Furthermore, the study sought to suggest the model presenting the process of developing loyalty of sport fans by teams' CSR performance. Research design, data, and methodology: For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 450 professional sports fans through the convenience sampling method. A total of 357 of the data were used for the final analysis. Based on the collected data, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis were conducted. Results: The results showed that CSR activities contribute to building a positive image of team. Regarding fan identification, team image has also a positive effect on enhancing identification. The finding has supported the notion that attitudinal loyalty is enhanced by fan identification and further attitudinal loyalty significantly influences behavioural loyalty of fans. Conclusions: The results of this study explored the function of CSR of the teams on attitudinal and behavioural outcomes, loyalty. Moreover, the study suggested the constructual model presenting its role on enhancing fans' attitudes and behaviour affecting participation and consumption. Academic and practical implications were discussed for sport marketers and practitioners.

노인의 생활체육활동 참가와 신체적, 정신적 기능상태의 관계 (The Relationships between Sport for All Participation and Physical and Mental Function affecting the Elderly's Self-perceived Health)

  • 이 연구는 노인의 생활체육활동 참가와 신체적, 정신적 기능상태의 관계를 구명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 조사 대상은 2008년 현재 서울지역에 거주하는 만 65세 이상 노인을 모집단으로 설정한 후, 유층집락 무선표집법(systematic stratified cluster random sampling)의 방법을 이용하여 양로원, 노인정, 노인대학 집단 등을 중심으로 표집틀(sampling framework)을 작성한 후, 생활체육참여자 180명, 비참여자 180명 총 360명의 표본을 추출하였다. 독립변인으로는 여가스포츠활동 참가여부와 참가정도(기간, 빈도, 강도)로 분류하였으며, 그리고 종속변인인 신체적 기능상태는 정경희 등(1998), 김양례(2005a)등이 사용한 문항을 토대로 본 연구에 맞게 수정, 보완하여 사용하였다. 정신적 기능상태는 인지기능 척도와 우울척도를 사용하였다. 먼저, 인지기능 척도는 개인이 지능을 이용하여 당면문제를 해결하는 정도로써, 한국판 MMSE-K(Mini Mental State Examination-Korea)를 사용하였으며, 우울증 척도는 Beck(1978)가 개발하고 이영호, 송종용(1991)이 번안한 설문지를 조규황(2003)이 한국 실정에 맞게 수정한 설문지를 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정 보완하여 사용하였다. 연구결과의 분석을 통해서 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 노인의 생활체육활동 참가여부에 따라 신체적 정신적 기능상태에 부분적으로 영향을 미친다. 즉, 생활체육활동에 참가하는 노인집단이 참가하지 않는 노인집단보다 일상생활수행능력 인지기능과 우울증 하위변인 중 인지적 신체적 행동적 요인이 높았다. 둘째, 노인의 생활체육 참가정도는 신체적 정신적 기능상태에 부분적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 생활체육 참가정도에 따라서 신체적, 정신적 기능상태의 하위변인인 일상생활수행능력에서는 참가기간, 참가강도가 인지기능에서는 참가기간, 그리고 우울증의 하위변인 중 인지적 정서적 요인에는 참가기간, 참가빈도가 영향을 미쳤고, 신체적 행동적 요인에는 참가기간, 참가빈도, 참가강도 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

생활체육시설의 수요예측을 위한 기초적 연구 (An Study on Basis for Demand Estimation of Lifetime Sports Facilities)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze basic conditions for the demand estimation erection of lifetime sports facilities. This is described the whole concept of lifetime sports(sport for all) for helping the understanding of its concept correctly. Firstly, second chapter was examined the significance, function and role of lifetime sports in modern society. Secondly, third and forth chapter was examined demand and participation of lifetime sports activities for demand estimation of lifetime sports facilities. Participation rate is on the rise by the increase in income and leisure time to some extent, but after that it stops rising. In other words, the same participation rate persists without additional increase in participation by the changes in time deepening and in the patterns of demand for lifetime sports activities.

Information Distribution of Sport Social Networking Sites: Their Use in Promoting Psychological Well-Being

  • Purpose: With the rapid information distribution of sport-related SNS, sport industry has utilized SNS as technical solution to distribute sport and health-related information. The current study examined the effect of SNS information use for running-specific content on running engagement and psychological well-being. Research design, data and methodology: Data were collected via online survey of participants in marathon events of United States. Descriptive statistics and Chi-square test were conducted to compare demographics and psycho-behavioral outcomes among SNS information users and non-users for running-specific contents. Multivariate hierarchical regression was next employed to examine research hypotheses. Results: A mass-participant running event was used to test seven hypotheses related to the potential role of SNS for running content in promoting running engagement and life satisfaction. In general, findings revealed that use of SNS for running content along with frequency of use can perhaps facilitate running intensity and influence participation in running-related outdoor activities. Furthermore, while overall life satisfaction did not appear to be influenced by use of SNS for running content, there was a demonstrated influence on the individual satisfaction domains. Conclusions: The findings of current study suggest that sport SNS is information distribution media enhancing users' engagement and their six life satisfaction domains. Further implications were discussed.

노인의 스포츠 활동 참여동기가 여가만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Elderly Sports Activities Participation Motivation on Leisure Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 스포츠 활동 참여동기가 여가만족에 미치는 목적을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 생활체육 프로그램을 참여하고 있는 노인들을 모집단으로 설정하였다. 이와 같은 과정을 통하여 2018년 9월 1일부터 10월 31일까지 총 250부의 설문지를 배포하여 불성실하게 응답했거나 조사내용의 일부가 누락도어 신뢰성이 떨어지는 자료 53부를 제외한 197부를 유효표본으로 설정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Statistics 21을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인 스포츠 활동 참여동기 요인 중 내적동기는 심리적 만족, 교육적 만족, 생리적 만족 등에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 외적동기는 사회적만족, 휴식적 만족 요인에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 무동기는 심리적 만족, 사회적 만족, 교육적 만족, 휴식적 만족, 환경적 만족에 영향을 미쳤다.

신세대 기혼여성의 여가시설선호 및 여가활동참여가 생활만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Leisure Facilities Preference and Leisure Participation on the Life Satisfaction of New-generation Married Women)

  • The purpose of this empirical study is to examine the effect of leisure facilities preferences and leisure activities of new-generation married women on their life satisfaction. The samples was composed of 195 married women under 35 years. old, selected by age and local distribution. The major findings of this study re as follows. The new-generation wives preferred culture.intellectual arts facilities to sport facilities to sport facilities and participated in home-oriented activities. The more new-generation married women participated in active leisure, the higher level they showed in life satisfaction. There is no significant affect of leisure facilities preference on life satisfaction. The finding of this study provide implications regarding the policies on leisure facilities and leisure education programs to enhance the quality of life of the new-generation wives, such as establishing community leisure facilities which can help the mother as well as young children enjoy their leisure activities with less expense, and managing continuing education programs in which the new-generation wives easily participate with their families.

A Study on the Development of Life Sports outdoor For Community Welfare

  • Sport activities of the local residents are admitted as a positive and awarding welfare. This study reviews the current status of and the way to activate life sport program on the policy level that would bring a number of effects. By reviewing related-literature review, this study presents theoretical and practical foundation regarding on the necessity for the local social welfare, organization operation, facilities, participation, leadership, and program management. Finally, the authors suggest policies for life sport development on local level below. First, in order to the function of sport for all in social welfare system, it is needed to pursue institutional changes to secure diversity in the age group which participates in sports for all. Second, connectivity in public sports facilities should be fortified. The government should develop sports program in conjunction with public sports facilities built for the interest of community members. Third, club advisors should be educated with well organized-manual and reeducated to rebuild their capacity to develop the programs and manage them if necessary. In the similar view, the policy which can check the advisor's field experience and ability should be prepared. Fourth, for economic sustainability, a profit generating project developing a target marketing strategy is required.

스포츠 용품 유통기업은 어떻게 지속가능한 성공을 이룰 수 있는가? : 스포츠 브랜드 진정성 개념 (How can Sporting Goods Retailers Achieve Sustainable Success? : Concept of Sport Brand Authenticity)

  • Purpose - As society continues to develop and the economy grows, consumer participation in sports activities and consumption of sports-related goods are steadily increasing. Nowadays, Spyder, the sporting goods company has achieved great success in the Korean market. In the launching, Spyder tried to communicate the sport authentic brand value to consumers as successful sporting goods brands did. The purpose of this study is to identify the key factors influencing the successful branding strategies of sporting goods retailers. In the process of value trading to the consumer, the concept of authenticity which includes 'originality', 'truth' and 'genuine' is considered as one of the most important factor for branding. This study tries to define the brand authenticity in sporting goods retailer and to develop measurement scale. This study suggests a new paradigm for sports brand research and implications for management of domestic sporting goods retailer that is losing the direction to develop brand value. Research design, data, and methodology - This research consists of two parts of study. The first study is a qualitative research to define sport brand authenticity and measuring items through expert interviews. The second study is the development of scales to the authenticity. And reliability and validity of the scales are verified by quantitative methods. A total of 500 respondents were surveyed and the statistical tests were conducted by dividing two groups. Results - This study defines the authenticity of sports brand which is divided into four dimensions; behavioral authenticity, performance authenticity, spiritual authenticity and virtuous authenticity. And this newly defined four dimensions measurement tool is proved statistically in this study in terms of reliability and validity. Conclusions - For the success of sporting goods retailers, it is important to understand the value of sport and to communicate it with customers effectively. This study suggests a tool for sport brand authenticity and also significant implications for brand strategies. In addition, every entity which is related with sport can apply the measurement scale of this study to understand their position and find direction in terms of authentic sport value.

Experiences in Sport, Physical Activity, and Physical Education Among Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu Asian Adolescent Girls

  • Multicultural scholarship in sport and exercise psychology should help us understand and apply cultural competencies for all to be physically active. In the present study, two Asian countries, Japan and Singapore, were chosen. The participation rate for physical activities among adolescent girls tends to be lower than that of boys in both countries. Thus, the purpose of the project was to gain knowledge and understanding about sociocultural factors that may explain adolescent girls' perceptions and behaviors toward sport, physical activity, and physical education (PE). A qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews with focus groups was used to understand meanings of physical activity among Buddhist Japanese, and Hindu Indians and Christian Chinese from Singapore. Each focus group consisted of four or five girls and female researchers. Based on the analysis, we created four themes which were "cultural identities", "Asian girls and sport/physical activities", "PE experiences", "motivation for future involvement". The Buddhist Japanese, Hindu Indian, and Christian Chinese participants each reported unique physical activity experiences, and all the participants were aware of how Asian culture may affect being physically active. Experiences of PE classes were similar but perceptions of their PE attire were different for Christian Chinese and Hindu Indian adolescent girls. Based on the results, the importance of nurturing cultural competencies and ways to encourage girls to be physically active throughout life were discussed.
