The works of Alessandro Mendini doing a big role in Italian design give us fresh impetus and the message on future design. His work activity has created new space and given the second life with arranging radical and fresh visual ornaments by using various materials. His design works have been challenged on fixed and ordinary thought. He applies gorgeous and plain natural colors. When he develops idea into the form, his works hold meditation and clear subjectivity. Alessandro Mendini makes us aware that his work of arts connects human spirit with thing.

This study aims to develop the 21st century eco design-based fashion products by examining Taller Flora products and presenting eco design approaches. Eco design terms were examined based on literature, and Taller Flora products were explored based on literature and websites. The following research issues were discussed. First, eco design terms are totally handled, thus defining the eco design. Second, eco design-oriented Taller Flora products are examined to explore design approaches. Eco design aims to conserve and heal the global environment with focus on a greater understanding of and interest in nature. As such, eco design is based on a new modern concept of aestheticism that seeks to minimize environmental damage caused by the three processes of production and distribution use and disposal, to take social and moral responsibilities for such activities, and to avoid hurting the environment. Taller Flora brands seek to produce products by keeping close ties with indigenous communities in various nations, and by emphasizing and embracing indigenous people's craftsmanship spirit and creativity Indigenous people use eco-friendly materials and produce products with craftsmanship spirit, and their cooperation by linking different cooperative networks is a good model for strengthening fair trade networks. These addresses the problem of expanding design work through traditional crafting. Therefore, the features of Taller Flora brands presented a new method to approach the eco fashion. The research findings are expected to help develop the eco design of fashion products.

The future society will demand that enables one to solve in many fields by connecting various informations in many fields and then creating his own information. In the coming society, creativeness will be regarded much important. This ability can be developed with materials through group activities experimental class in math classes. This classes using these materials are not teacher-oriented, explanatory classes but student-oriented ones. They offer students opportunities to think by themselves and expand their potential abilities. They are suitable for rising and keeping student's interests. Therefore experimental classes through group activities enable students to think mathematically and make them recognize the importance of mathematical approach by letting them work connecting other subjects or things in real life. They can develop not only expressive, communicative ability and cooperative spirit, but also the ability to transcend the class itself and then reorganize facts in new insights. Besides, math classes with experiments can arouse student's curiosity familiarizing them with mathematics. Moreover, they can expand student's originative and problem-solving abilities.

The images signifying flight in modern costumes are not made of one characteristic but the combination of complex meanings. Among the distinctive features some of them are as follows. First, the flying styles found in the costumes showed the birds as agents which sent human spirit to the celestial body. By simplifying the images of the wings connecting the present age with the heavenly body, the transforming emotions towards rhythm, direction, and organic curves transcending the real objectively constitutes a new space for expression. Second, colors appeal directly to man's emotions and incites emotional responses. The flying was shown in lines and colors. By using horizontal , vertical, oblique, and spiral lines and contrasted and paralleled colors, man's desire to fly dwells in newly colored space by reflecting speculative emotion through uniting surface. Third, the flying except for the costumes can be found in the advertisement through model's pose and camera technique, the flying itself is described through model's pose, the materials of the costumes, details, and sustaining stuffs. This symbolizes man's wish towards the unknown world vividly and dynamically. As discussed above the spirit of flying was, when expressed distinctively , in accordance with the varying cultural traits and transitions. The shape made by the vitality of symbolizing flying birds and animals along with the flying in the natural aspects such as wind and cloud were reappeared, simplified and symbolized , in modern costumes as consituting a new modeling space.

Mies van der Rohe is still known as the architect whose influence is the largest among modem architects. As his work is typical of modern architecture, the architecture of Mies shows an interest in materials and techniques, even though It established the new architectural world by glass and iron, and only transparency is emphasized with glass. So it is blame for the loss of peculiarity a result of thinking In the way of sachlich with expression and structure of material and hierarchical relation. Vincent Scully has insist on that an appearance of modem architecture be occur not by simply a technical request of a technician but by reflection of the times and times' spirit. In this means, the works of Mies is the trial to express the new times' spirit that the new times order and an understanding of material properties about glass with new material of modern. For that, this study tries to consider that Mies'work is the new trial through reflection of material to express about the bstraction beyond the limit of sachlich expression, on the point of expresslonal characteristics of material shown in plan of the Barcelona Pavilion and skyscraper and on the basis of the theory of Gottfried Semper and Karl Boetticher that architectural surface Is a medium which can define space and also express mass.

The purpose of this study how 'Afro-American resistance' is showed up in the fashion trough the study of rapper's fashion present in singing rap music. Rap music produced by the influence of black music. It have been the tool of expression of pain and sorrow of their lives and included their resistant spirit. So rapper's fashion expressed resistance. at this point I categorized the resistant feature of rapper's fashion at two types in terms of the extent of expression. Their are active resistance fashion and passive resistance fashion. Also each fashion types was classified in terms of style, material, color, accessories and so forth. Active fashion is possible to classify these three styles as follows. The first one is Afrocentic style that was raised from longing for Africa. The second one is Military style which contains an ling-time enduring spirit of resistance against the society. The last one is Hiphop style that violated the typical rule of dressing under the hiphop style culture. these kinds of active resistance are also classified as material like blue Jean showing black workers' resistance, color like black showing off superiority of 'black' and red, gold and green color expressing black people's resistance, and other accessories like chains, cross and so on. Passive resistance fashion has several variations according to the style. There are Jazz style, Uniform style and Hiphop style. It is also categorized as high-tech materials, white color which is the expression of desire for white and luxurious accessories showing off wealth.

Fashion is a cultural element expressing general and common aesthetic awareness in a relevant region in the relevant times. On the aspect that shoes are also a part of fashion reflecting the unique aesthetic awareness of Korea, this paper aims to analyze the aesthetic awareness contained in the aesthetic features observed in the traditional boots. The aesthetic features in terms of the form were the balanced usage of each element including curves, straight lines, simple shapes, contrast colors and materials, and the application and ideological significance as the symbol of social position and status in terms of the contents. Aesthetic awareness pursues the beauty of moderation through the compromise between curves and straight lines, as both elements accept each other's features and keep balance without inclination to one element. Next, solid and void are naturally expressed by appropriately adjusting the expression on colors, materials and shapes through the harmony of composure and techniques. While traditional boots were used as the sign indicating social position and status as the unity of spirit and a thing, they pursue the value of rhythmic vitality by giving spiritual meaning to a thing.

The contemporary shoes have been progressively trying a variety of designs using patterns as well as the formative change. However, for making those patterns secure the continuing values as the design having global competitiveness without being a temporal trend, it is required to develop the patterns which reflect the unique identity of Korea. Such development can be realized through the analysis on the traditional patterns of Korea. The patterns are the symbol of collective values. The traditional patterns implicitly express the philosophical thinking of members in a society as having been inherited up to now. Thus, this paper analyzed the gilt bronze shoes in Three Kingdoms Era using the patterns as unique design elements among traditional shoes of Korea. The symbolism of those patterns was expressed as transcendence of time and space, harmony of spirit and materials, and convergence of a region and religion. On the aspect that our ancestors interpreted and overcame the bounds of nature around human beings, pursued the ideal beyond reality and accepted a variety of thoughts, it is considered that the patterns used in gilt bronze shoes expressed anthropocentricism, idealism and inclusivism.

Dufu has left about 67 poems on thing in his lifetime, and not only has a large number of his works, but also achieved remarkable accomplishments in both thought and artistic skill. In this paper, I focused on the contents and characteristics contained in the Dufu's poem on thing made by staying in the Chengdu. The purpose of this analysis was to think that after the Qinzhou(秦州) period, the style of the duo changed, and that it was possible to see how this was reflected in the Chengdu(成都) period, and that it would later serve as a bridge to the creation of the Kuizhou(夔州) period it is. I also want to examine how the spirit of the patriotism of Dufu, which was directly revealed in the previous period, was expressed implicitly through the method of metaphor in this period. The change of material did not bring about a fundamental change in his feelings like reality awareness, rather, it can be said that the depth has been added by revealing his thoughts figuratively through these things. Another characteristic of poem on thing at this time is that it is made of materials such as cuckoo, stalagmite, and stone rhinoceros. Through his works based on these materials, he reveals the unreasonableness and disadvantages of the real society with a strong touch, showing the capacity of a poet who is excellent in the operation of metaphor.

The purpose of this research is to provide new direction on the field of the furniture design and to establish the identity of Korean furniture design as the flow of craft's juxtapose mixture era where it mix and match Korean traditional craft style materials with the modern furniture design. In other words, it is intended to create new furniture design and propose beautiful Korean luxury furniture design based on the precious unique culture with the traditional craft style, juxtaposition of modern furniture, and reinterpretation. It should grant artistic values that can satisfy consumers having various tastes and scarcity values, plus it should put out aesthetic and creative expressions in furniture design putting into the beautiful traditional craft form values. Furthermore, it is required to create new design through values and spirit, materials, techniques, forms, pattern, and usages by interacting, coordinating, and combining tradition and modern East and West, plus craft and design.
