A database program is constructed by collecting all information related to shallow foundations such as measured load-settlement data, foundation shapes and sizes, properties of soils under the foundation and various measured data obtained from field investigation methods including CPT, PMT and SPT etc.. Based on the database program, a special program module is developed for performing statistical analyses of reliability and accuracy of predicting equations used for calculation of settlement of the shallow foundations. Special interests are focused not only on the settlement, but also on the settlement to width ratio (s/B). Results of the reliability and accuracy analyses on five available settlement equations are provided. Conclusions based on the provided results can be confirmed by extending number of related reliable data about the shallow foundations and can be adapted as guidelines for design of the shallow foundations.

This paper describes a parallel programming environment to help programmer to write parallel programs. Parallel program must be write according to the character of the various hardware or program. So it is difficult for the programs to write the parallel programmer. In this paper, we propose and implement a parallel programming environment using graph type intermediate representation form, and graph user interface is provided for programmer to get parallel programs easily, This parallel environment supports special functions using graph type intermediate representation form. The special functions involve program editing. data dependence analysis, loop transformation. CFG, PDG, HTG. This parallel environment helps users make parallelism and optimization easy through showing the intermediate code with graph.

With the growing acceptance of the educational benefits for the use of robot- based teaching, their use in classrooms is increasing. However, the vast majority of studies taking place are based within normal classroom environment. Therefore, this study was focused on the adaptations that need to be made for the use of robot-based teaching within a special-needs environment, specifically a program for pre-service teachers of a special needs Elementary school. The results indicate robot-based teaching has a place within special education and it is hoped that this study will spur further investigation into the field.

Purpose: The study aim was to examine the home healthcare system and relevant education, as well as the special certification examination, and propose a plan to increase the supply of home health nurses. Methods: A narrative literature review was conducted using data from research articles, Korean and U.S. educational institutes and organizations, Korean national statistical data, government press releases, and related medical legislation. Results: Between 2005 and 2006, 763 home health nurses were certified through the special qualification examination; however, in the 16 years from 2007 to 2023 (after the graduate-level program was established), a total of 555 home health nurses were certified, with an average of approximately 35 per year. Currently, 790 home health nurses are working at 194 medical institutions nationwide. Relatively few institutions exist in rural areas, and the supply of home health nurses is low. Only seven educational institutions offer home health nurse certification programs, with a total of 77 designated students. In contrast to Korea, post-master's certification courses are offered in the U.S.. Conclusion: To expand the supply of home health nurses, we recommend revising the rules for the special qualification examination and introducing a post-master's certification program for home health nurses. Future studies should provide additional education for applicants from other specialties in post-master's certification programs.

This paper shows the easy way to composite a music for non-musicians. Namely, only select a chord and put it to special program which called "the chord composition program", and then the composition program creates the rest chords. After doing this process, non-musicians overwrite their own melodies in accordance with created chords. Finally, they can perform their own music with the sound of master-keyboard and other sound sources by using the band-in-a-box program.x program.

Inspire of increasing importance of entrepreneurs for successful new venture creation, structured educational programs for entrepreneur development are very limited in Korea. Based on the survey of existing academic programs and interviews with entrepreneurs, this study presents a new education system for entrepreneurial management and new venture creation. Specifically, seven venture educational programs are suggested. As degree programs, ⅰ) new venture interdisciplinary program and ⅱ) venture MBA program are presented. Also, ⅲ) advanced venture management program, ⅳ) venture capitalist training program, and ⅴ) potential entrepreneur training program are suggested as non-degree programs. In addition, special and supporting programs such as ⅵ) technological entrepreneurship seminar and vii) new venture forum are explained. Finally, some examples of typical entrepreneurial management courses are presented and policy implications are suggested.

The Continuing Professional Development(CPD) program of Korean dentists had probroms that did not resolve for many years. The primary concern of this study is to examine the problems of the CPD program of Korean dentists and to suggest practical guidelines to resolve such barriers. The findings show that the major barrier for improving CPD program is the lack of total quality management. In order to enhance the CPD program, Special plans and resolutions, such as functional organization, recertification system, pool of verified instructor, and evaluation of CPD program, have been suggested.

This work was intended to investigate types and characteristics of job stress in general hospitals and special hospitals, and thereby suggest the direction to perform stable employee management and stress alleviation program through the ways of overcoming stress depending on each characteristic of hospitals. In this study, 109 of professionals working in general hospitals and 117 working in specialized hospitals participated, and, as a measuring instrument, the 'Measuring Instrument of Korean Job Stressors' according to 'Standardization and Development of Korean Job Stress Questionnaire' made by Occupational Safety & Health Research Institute as part of a policy research project in 2004 was used. As a result, this work looked into stress characteristics appearing differently according to the environment and organizational system of general hospitals and special hospitals. Based on the study result, it is expected that this work will be used as a fundamental material to develop the program of overcoming stress on the basis of each hospital characteristic.

This study was conducted to seek the innovation challenges of "University Department of Special Education" with convergence on lifelong education of the disabled which is constantly stressed due to the educational needs of the disabled. For this purpose, the study first examined the compatibility between special education and lifelong education of the disabled based on the universal basis and then suggested faculty competence development for the foundation of organization and an integrated cooperation system of "University Department of Special Education" with support of National Institute for Lifelong Education of Disabled, lifelong education centers, related local organizations, and local colleges. In regards to the curriculum, the study also suggested lifelong education curriculum of disabled within the university lifelong education centers and a foundation for gradual restructuring of the curriculum of the "Department of Special Education". A program for 'lifelong education instructors for disabled (temporary name)' was introduced based on interdisciplinary course with "University Department of Special Education" for qualification of instructions.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the degrees of life quality, anger expression and suicidal ideation of Korean special mission national merit(Performer), and to identify the effects of life quality and anger expression on suicidal ideation of the subjects. The general characteristics as well as life quality, anger expression and suicidal ideation of 362 Korean veterans were collected from March 2016 to May 2016, and the collected data were analyzed with SPSS 23.0 Statistics Program. The result showed that life quality was inversely correlated with anger expression(r=-.151, p<.001) and suicidal ideation(r=-.539, p<.001), and anger expression was positively correlated with suicidal ideation(r=.601, p<.001). Life quality and anger expression were significant predictors of suicidal ideation with 42.9% explanatory power. In order to prevent the suicide of the Korean special mission national merit(Performer), it is necessary to develop a national adaptation program to improve the life quality and to develop an effective anger control education program considering the characteristics of them.
