가족생활주기별 아파트 단위주호 계획요소 선호분석 (An Analysis of the Preferential Unit Planning Components of High-rise Residential Buildings Across Family Life Cycle Stages)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine preferential unit planning components of high-rise residential buildings across family life cycle stages. The questionnaire survey was adopted in this study, and 110 cases were used for data analysis. Based on the age of the oldest child, the family life cycles used in the study were divided into four stages: early childhood, elementary school, adolescence, and adulthood. The findings showed that the preference of the unit planning components across the stages was distinct; families in the stage of early childhood and adolescence had the growing needs for spatial features, and regarded living-related features as important. Families in the stage of adulthood tended to have larger spaces. It was noticed that unit planning components needed to be more differential when the combined effect of both family life cycle stages and housing size was considered.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze spatial configuration of the unit floor plan characteristics of the apartments built in Seoul Metropolitan area by using the Space Syntax methodology and finally to test the relationship between space in the unit floor plans. So the unit floor plans are analyzed using sector graphs from justified graph and computer programs based on the Space Syntax model and compared by size. The results are as follows; The sector graphs are summarized in 14 types. The total depth of spaces is not in proportion to the plan area. And the global and local integration and intelligibility are inversely proportional to the area. But in the case of largest areas(265$m^2$ and above), the integration and intelligibility increase.

  • As a functionally complicated facility, it requires rational strategy to accommodate multi-functional needs to plan a hospital. Ambulatory surgery units located in large hospitals have problems such as longer waiting time and congestion for patients due to complicated planning and organization within limited area, which raise needs for independent ambulatory surgery centers to enable smoother medical treatment for patients. To design an independent ambulatory surgery center, understanding of zoning and layout of each unit needs is particularly required. This study focuses on research of efficient zoning/organization of day surgery unit and circulation arrangements of ambulatory surgery centers by analyzing various examples abroad, which will eventually help finding appropriate way of planning domestic ambulatory surgery centers. Specific area of research includes ambulatory surgery process, programmatic requirements, spatial organization of the facility, layout of surgery unit and circulation arrangements of ambulatory surgery centers.

바이오매스 부존특성을 고려한 농촌지역 바이오에너지 보급전략 (Strategic Planning for Bioenergy Considering Biomass Availability in Rural Area)

  • Unit costs for energy production in bioenergy facilities are dependent upon both fixed cost for facility construction and operational costs including biomass feedstock supply. With the increase of capacity, unit fixed cost could be decreased while supply cost tends to increase due to the longer transportation distance. It is desirable to take into account biomass availability in planning bioenergy facilities. A cumulative curve relationship was proposed to relate biomass availability and cumulative products of biomass amount and transportation distance. Optimum size of gasification facilities was affected by collection cost, biomass cumulative relationship. Based on biomass availability of Icheon-City, optimum sizes were about $400kW_{th}$ for gas production, and about $200kW_{el}$ for power generation. Unit cost of bioenergy production could be substantially reduced by reducing collection cost through supplying biomass from diverse sources including land development areas where significant amount of waste wood is generated. When planning bioenergy facilities, however, biomass availability and spatial distribution are key factors in determining the size of capacity.

중국 명·청대 휘주지역 주거유형의 분석 및 공간구성 원리에 관한 연구 (Spatial Analysis of Traditional Houses in Huizhou during the Ming and Qing Period in China)

  • This paper focuses on the spatial analysis of traditional houses in Huizhou during the Ming and Qing period in China. It first reviews the spatial characteristics of the houses in Huizhou. Typical configurations, spatial elements and spatial compositions of the houses are briefly examined. It then discusses how those spatial characteristics are applied to the houses. To do so, the review of existing research and literature on the houses was conducted. For a detailed analysis of the houses, a field survey was performed to collect research materials of the houses and to assess the application of the characteristics in the houses. At times, the plans of the houses were redrawn for a further analysis of the spatial compositions of the houses. Attempts have been made to understand the underlying principles of their spatial organization. For example, Jin (2010) examined the spatial organization of unit plans. Boyd (1989), Berliner (2003) and Dan (2005) similarly categorized the organizational typology of its varying designs. Son(1995) further interpreted the spatial relations of the variety of houses in a comprehensive manner. Nevertheless, their analytic methodology falls short of a complete explanation of the spatial expansion and transformation in the houses. Therefore, this paper examines the basic principles behind the spatial expansion and transformation of a variety of traditional houses in Huizhou. In doing so, it strives to make logical sense of design variations in the houses and reveal the theory behind them.

공간계획을 위한 토지이용정보 수요 조사 (A Survey on the Demands of Land Use Information for Spatial Planning)

  • 합리적인 공간계획을 위해서는 토지이용의 동태적 변화를 파악할 수 있는 자료들의 체계적인 구축 및 활용이 필요하다. 본 연구는 공간계획 전문가들이 요구하는 토지이용정보의 종류와 그 갱신주기를 확인하고자 이루어졌다. 문헌조사를 통해 토지이용정보 구축의 필요성을 정리하고, 국내외의 토지이용정보 구축사례 분석을 통해 국내 토지이용정보 구축의 문제점을 확인할 수 있었다. 설문조사를 통하여 공간계획 전문가들이 겪고 있는 토지이용정보의 부족현상을 명확히 하고, 필요한 정보의 항목과 그 구축주기를 확인할 수 있었다. 이 조사를 통하여 토지이용정보의 세부항목별로 그 수요를 확인할 수 있었으며, 이러한 정보들이 필지나 행정동 단위로 1년 정도의 주기로 갱신되기를 원하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 지자체가 구축하고 있는 전산정보를 제공하는 기준을 제공할 수 있으며, 향후 추가로 필요로 한 토지이용 공간 정보 단위에 대한 이해를 증대시킬 수 있으리라 생각된다.

MULTI-SENSOR DATA FUSION FOR FUTURE TELEMATICS APPLICATION

  • In this paper, we present multi-sensor data fusion for telematics application. Successful telematics can be realized through the integration of navigation and spatial information. The well-determined acquisition of vehicle's position plays a vital role in application service. The development of GPS is used to provide the navigation data, but the performance is limited in areas where poor satellite visibility environment exists. Hence, multi-sensor fusion including IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), GPS(Global Positioning System), and DMI (Distance Measurement Indicator) is required to provide the vehicle's position to service provider and driver behind the wheel. The multi-sensor fusion is implemented via algorithm based on Kalman filtering technique. Navigation accuracy can be enhanced using this filtering approach. For the verification of fusion approach, land vehicle test was performed and the results were discussed. Results showed that the horizontal position errors were suppressed around 1 meter level accuracy under simulated non-GPS availability environment. Under normal GPS environment, the horizontal position errors were under 40㎝ in curve trajectory and 27㎝ in linear trajectory, which are definitely depending on vehicular dynamics.

  • Less Favored Area(LFA) is a newly shaped regional concept and just appearing as a new community design target, where the topogeographical, industry-locational condition and the daily living environment have been outstandingly inferior to any other regions. Community Design(CD) principles that cover a spatial order of settlements are introduced in this study when the CD concept is applied to the LFA. The study puts a great stress on the horizontal and vertical order of communal spatial units and living activities oriented to residents'socio-economic activities, on which a CD district and an inner spatial organization of community is based. Therefore the various relationships between residents' activities and particular places, such as that between agricultural production and land, access to living services and community-outer settlements, is analysed through the field study. The emphatic point is that the spatial unit and organization of community, namely settlement order is casted not only by the horizontal coverage but also by the vertical hierarchy forming a cubic-like spatial order. Applying the CD idea to LFA has limit because the CD has been oriented on urban architectural style and community participation process. Nevertheless, that has a new possibility to understand the fundamental and archetypical change of a spatial pattern of community uncovering the accumulated layer of settlement order especially in the drastically changed mountain community from past to now.

토지이용의 공간적 다양성에 따른 GIS 기반 오염부하 산정에 관한 연구 - 왕숙천 유역을 중심으로 - (A Study of GIS-based Estimation of Pollutant Loads in Accordance with Spatial Landuse Variation - Focussing on Wangsook Watershed -)

  • The scheme to classify pollution sources in Korean TMDL planning has been pointed out too much complex to implement practically because of requiring a wide range of items to be collected from a field. Within a deficient situation to collect field data, the mathematical scheme that focuses only on counting an uniform area ratio of the different land uses to estimate of pollutant loads from individual sub-catchments has been used without taking into account of the spatial characteristics of major land uses as well as the locations of pollution sources in each sub-catchment. It would cause to significant level of errors to estimate the pollution loads. Therefore, this study proposes a renovated scheme that can be adopted more easily to classify pollution sources in the watershed and reduce the estimation errors in the spatial distribution of pollution sources by introducing a spatial analysis based on digital land cover maps. In order to estimate a unit area to calculate the uniform pollution load, the pollution response unit area that is locating spatially at the same place and having same land use is identified through the application of GIS overlay technique. Unlikely existing conventional method to calculate the pollution load based on equal distribution of pollutants for each administrative boundary, it is assumed that the pollution load from household and livestock sources are generated and washed off from only residential areas. While, pollution from business population comes from commercial area and industrial load from wastewater discharge facilities are from industrial areas. From comparison of the calculated results from the existing the method and the proposed one, it is found that although the estimation of pollution load from sub-catchment in the case of the existing conventional method application results in negligible difference in total pollution amounts from the whole area of Wangsook watershed as a study area, significant difference of pollution load among sub-catchment in which pollution response unit areas are diverse, however, appears in the case of the application of the renovated scheme.

  • 기존의 패턴 탐사 기법들은 대부분 객체가 갖는 공간 정보의 연속적인 변화에 대한 패턴 탐사는 가능하나, 추출하고자 하는 패턴에 반드시 포함되어야 하는 공간 정보에 대한 제약이 없어 특정 지점들 사이의 최적 경로 탐색 문제나 단위기간 동안 이동 객체가 순회해야 하는 지점들에 대한 경로 예측 문제 등에 적용하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 Road Network 상의 특정한 지점들 사이를 이동한 객체의 위치 데이터들 중 최다 빈발 패턴과 시간 및 비용 등의 가중치를 복합적으로 고려하여 최적의 이동 경로를 탐색하는 방법(Spatial-Temporal Optimal Moving Pattern(with Frequency & Weight) algorithm)[13]을 이용하여, 공간 개념 계층에 따른 경로 탐색의 정확도를 분석한다. 분석의 결과는 패턴 탐사 과정에 있어 공간 제약을 적용하여 검색 데이터 범위를 축소함으로써 데이터베이스 검색 시간을 최소화함을 보이고, 또한 공간 추상 계층의 각 계층별 영역 내 포함여부를 고려함으로써 효율적으로 최적 이동 패턴을 탐색하여 제공하도록 한다.
