The road construction near the existing lighter's wharf has completed but the lighter's wharf has been still unavailable and neglected. Therefore, the site needs the urgent measures to clean up and properly take advantage of the lighter's wharf. This study sought to improve the regional amenities and revitalize the coastal environment by creating an environment-friendly waterfront park utilizing features of the existing lighter's wharf as part of improvement measures. In addition, surveys were conducted to develop an waterfront park capable of effectively using the land and improving the cleanliness and safety of the coastal scenic beauty, leading to various meaningful opinions on the residents' awareness of the potential park site, the facilities necessary for the park, the development directions of the park and the timing of park development. If an waterfront park is created through the residents' participation, It can share a sustainable utility value of the coastal area. Therefore, this will result in boosting the connection with redevelopment plan for the North Port, along with improving the quality of the residents' life, strengthening Busan's status as a maritime tourism city.

The demand for the revitalization of marine tourism in Busan North Port is increasing due to changes in functions such as an increase in harbor traffic volume and the expansion of marine leisure space in Busan. As a result, Busan City plans to set a phased alleviation target for prohibition of cruise ship operations, and to lift the prohibition of excursion ship operations in North Port following the cancellation of the prohibition of excursion ship operations in South Port in 2017. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the risk of excursion ship operations in Busan North Port by applying the marine traffic assessment index and to examine the possibility of excursion ship operations. For this purpose, port status, marine accidents, and traffic flow of Busan North Port were investigated. In addition, marine traffic assessment indexes, such as traffic congestion, risk based on an ES Model, and IWRAP MkII, a maritime risk assessment tool, were used to assess the risk and possibility of excursion ship operations in Busan North Port. This study can be used as basic data for analyzing the risk factors that may occur when excursion ships are operated in Busan North Port and to define how excursion ships should operate, with related safety measures.

Cultural contents should provide all the people web services to ensure accessibility without any obstacles as a core resource of nation including a code linking people and people beyond time and space. This study achieved that automated measure including 11 checkpoints and manual analysis including 11 criteria and 26 checkpoints of three areas in selected five web sites such as Culture Portal. Art Road, Korean Patterns, MFM, and e-Museum supported by Ministry of Culture & Tourism. As a result, web accessibility level of cultural contents analyzed it staying at the beginning level. Recently, Metaverse service has been widely used to naturally communicate with a remote location, freeing from time and spatial constraints. In order to produce such contents, it is necessary to restore and synthesize a 3D model based on real space data. In this paper, a 3D-generated reconstruction model is produced based on continuous images using multiple cameras and a technique to correct the reconstructed 3D model is presented. For this. offline multi-camera setup was performed, errors were analyzed on the 3D model created through images obtained from various angles, and correction was performed using a matching technique between image frames. It is expected that 3D reconstructed data can be utilized in various service fields such as culture, tourism, and medical care.
As exhibition industry, which is a part of 17 new growth engines of the government, is related to other industries such as tourism, transportation and financial industries. So it has a significant ripple effect on other industries. Exhibition is a knowledge-intensive, eco-friendly and high value-added Industry. Over 13,000 exhibitions are held every year around the world which contributes to getting foreign currency. Exhibition industry is closely related with culture and tourism and could be utilized as local and national development strategies and improve national brand image as well. Many countries try various efforts to invigorate exhibition industry by arranging related laws and support system. In Korea, more than 200 exhibitions are being held every year, but only 2~3 exhibitions are hosted with over 400 exhibitors and except these exhibitions most exhibitions have few foreign exhibitors. The main reason of weakness of domestic trade show is that there are no agencies managing exhibitionrelated statistics and there is no specific and reliable evaluation. This might cause impossibility of providing buyer or seller with reliable data, poor growth of exhibitions in terms of quality and thus service quality of trade shows cannot be improved. Hosting a lot of visitors (Public/Buyer/Exhibitor) is very crucial to the development of domestic exhibition industry. In order to attract many visitors, service quality of exhibition and visitor's satisfaction should be enhanced. For this purpose, a variety of real-time customized services through digital media and the services for creating new customers and retaining existing customers should be provided. In addition, by providing visitors with personalized information services they could manage their time and space efficiently avoiding the complexity of exhibition space. Exhibition industry can have competitiveness and industrial foundation through building up exhibition-related statistics, creating new information and enhancing research ability. Therefore, this paper deals with customized service with visitor's smart-phone at the exhibition space and designing mobile framework which enables exhibition devices to interact with other devices. Mobile server framework is composed of three different systems; multi-server interaction, server, client, display device. By making knowledge pool of exhibition environment, the accumulated data for each visitor can be provided as personalized service. In addition, based on the reaction of visitors each of all information is utilized as customized information and so the cyclic chain structure is designed. Multiple interaction server is designed to have functions of event handling, interaction process between exhibition device and visitor's smart-phone and data management. Client is an application processed by visitor's smart-phone and could be driven on a variety of platforms. Client functions as interface representing customized service for individual visitors and event input and output for simultaneous participation. Exhibition device consists of display system to show visitors contents and information, interaction input-output system to receive event from visitors and input toward action and finally the control system to connect above two systems. The proposed mobile framework in this paper provides individual visitors with customized and active services using their information profile and advanced Knowledge. In addition, user participation service is suggested as well by using interaction connection system between server, client, and exhibition devices. Suggested mobile framework is a technology which could be applied to culture industry such as performance, show and exhibition. Thus, this builds up the foundation to improve visitor's participation in exhibition and bring about development of exhibition industry by raising visitor's interest.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the total area of unexecuted urban planning facilities in Korea is about $1,257km^2$, of which 47% is the unexecuted urban green space and forests. In the case of Seoul, the total area of unexecuted urban planning facilities is about $66km^2$, which is 5.24% of the total unexecuted area in the entire country. In Seoul, approximately 88% of the total unexecuted area is urban green space and forests, which is higher than the national rate. About 92% of the unexecuted urban planning facilities are long-term unexecuted urban planning facilities that are more than 10 years old. This study assessed the economic value of potential ecosystem services, focusing on the regulation service, supporting service, and cultural service, for urban green space and forests of unexecuted urban planning facilities in Seoul by using meta-regression analysis. As a result, the value of the regulation service provided by the urban green space and forests in Seoul was about 16.39 billion KRW, the value of the supporting service was about 5.8 billion KRW, and the cultural service value was about 7.78 billion KRW. The total value of ecosystem services is about 33.93 billion KRW. The values of regulation service and cultural service were the highest, and that was attributed to the characteristics of the downtown area. The significance of this study is to evaluate the value of ecosystem services for unexecuted urban planning facilities in Seoul. The results of this study can be used not only in the process of urban planning or policymaking but also land compensation methods applying the concept of an ecosystem service payment system.

College campus landscape plans once focused mainly on campus functionality and aesthetically pleasing buildings. Yet now, after the rise of greater emphasis on afforestation and eco-friendly planning, building spaces for the local culture and community has become the core of the plan. This study analyzed the design strategies and details of the landscape plan that was selected through the contest to select a design plan for the cultural park at Sunchon National University. The key considerations for the landscape Design for the cultural space at Sunchon National University areas follows. First, the design plan sought ways to reach out to the local community, going one step beyond just opening up campus facilities. This means more than just the opening of physical facilities and environments. It was designed to serve as a base to organize diversified programs by generations and groups with an aim to share the history and culture of the college, the local community and the region. Second, shapes and colors were designed to establish a unified image between buildings and outdoor facilities. "Three Books" was selected as the key motif as books were believed to be the most representative symbol of colleges while 6 straight lines, hexagons and circles inspired by the shape of three books were used in the design. In terms of colors, reddish-brown was used for buildings to enhance visibility along with harmony and esthetic appreciation. For facilities, black and blue were used as dominant colors and white and yellow as point colors to promote the image of Sunchon City. Third, with an aim to overcome the limitation of the overall college campus as a closed space, it was designed to be a barrier-free space, remaining open to everyone and encouraging visits and experiences for active communication with the local community.
The purposes of this study are to analyze the gap between foodservice personnel and customers, to urge foodservice providers to reconsider by identifying the problems in service delivery for customer satisfaction, and to deduce the recognition for foodservice quality improvement. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: the average perception score of personnel(3.78 out of 5) was higher than that of customers(3.79). In particular, the customers' perception of 16 attributes, which included 'overall lighting in the restaurant', 'creativity of the food', 'freshness of the ingredients' and so on, was significantly lower than personnel's. Both service providers and customers perceived that 'meal quality' was the highest and 'table setting' was the lowest among the 4 factors, but there was significant difference on 'interior space(p<.001)', 'meal quality (p<.01)', 'convenience(p<.01)' between the two groups. As a results of the quadrant analysis, 'Q3. dishes and bowls', 'Q6. cleanliness of the tables', 'Q12. display of the food', 'Q17. comfort of the interior space', 'Q18, room temperature', 'Q23. overall lighting in the restaurant', 'Q30. arrangement of the furniture and accessaries' were categorized into Quadrant A, all of which showed dissatisfaction of the customers due to the personnel's lower perception. Therefore, service providers have to perceive the gap between the two viewpoints and grant priority to these attributes to improve foodservice quality.
An amendment to Japanese Civil Aeronautics Act came into effect December 10, 2015. The Act prohibits flying drones over residential areas or areas surrounding an airport without permission from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation. Flying drones during night time and during an event is also prohibited. The term "UAV" or "UA" means any aeroplane, rotorcraft, glider or airship which cannot accommodate any person on board and can be remotely or automatically piloted (Excluding those lighter than a certain weight (200 grams). Any person who intends to operate a UAV is required to follow the operational conditions listed below, unless approved by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; (i) Operation of UAVs in the daytime, (ii) Operation of UAVs within Visual Line of Sight (VLOS), (iii) Maintenance of a certain operating distance between UAVs and persons or properties on the ground/water surface, (iv) Do not operate UAVs over event sites where many people gather, (v) Do not transport hazardous materials such as explosives by UAV, (vi) Do not drop any objects from UAVs. Requirements stated in "Airspace in which Flights are Prohibited" and "Operational Limitations" are not applied to flights for search and rescue operations by public organizations in case of accidents and disasters. This paper analyzes some issues as to regulations of UAVs in Korean Aviation Safety Act by comparing the regulations of UAVs in Japanese Civil Aeronautics Act. This paper, also, offers some implications and suggestions for regulations of UAVs under Korean Aviation Safety Act.

There has been considerable controversy over the changes in the size of the beaches in the Pusan area; any loss of beach area will have an immense effect on the tourism industry, which is an important source of income for the local economy. The best beaches in Korea are in the Pusan area and were visited by more than 8 million persons in 2000. It is expected that the number of visitors, drawn to the scenic vistas and convenient facilities of this area, will increase annually. Any loss in the size of these swimming beaches will have an important negative effect on tourism income. Therefore, the local governments have gone to great lengths to preserve these beaches, transporting tens of thousands of tons of sand to the beaches before they open each year at a cost of billions of won annually. In this study, we analyzed aerial photographs and tide data for the past 50 years using digital aerial photo analysis and GIS techniques for each 3-year interval. We abstracted beach DEM (digital elevation model) and ortho aerial photographs, and conducted a space analysis. As a result, we were able to identify changes in the area and width of sections of Haeundae Beach.
