뉴미디어 환경의 색채시스템을 적용한 디지털 공간색채 연구 (A Study on the Digital Space Color by Application Color System in New Media Environment)

  • The digital space color of new media environment denied not only the deterministic relationship of designed color and circumjacent color but also the deduced an special elements of digital space color. Such phenomena historical perspective of Gernot Wersig, new media principle of Lev Manovich and remediation of Bolter, J.K & Grusin, R. are expressed in various new media environment across. In particular, development of digital technology is moving away from its previous space color based on scientific, statistical and quantitative perspective by using diverse variables. The following research focuses on the fundamental concept of space color by type, composition of digital space color. The paper reflects on the meaning and concept of contemporary which enables the application of digital space color system on space through advanced technology. The principle of digital space color such as multidimensional malerisch, discontinuous video, vague original and copy, irregular repetitiveness of 'copy of copy', selective color of observer, experiential color of observer, and etc. makes it possible to extract the expressed element and method of digital space color. Meanwhile, the features of digital space color such as divided field of form, non-systematized of process and collage of communication can be inferred from case analysis.

교회(敎會)의 교육공간(敎育空間)을 위한 매체(媒體)센터 시설(施設)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Educational Space in Religeous Buildings)

  • The importance of church school education is becoming more emphasized. To maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of church school education, frequent utilization of instructional media is more desirable. Systematic approach to media utilization will be developed by the extabilishment of church media center. The purpose of this study was to review the concept and components of church media center and to survey the current status and hope for the facility of church media center. For the survey the 400 questionnaries were distributed to pastors or missionaries who are responssible for education, or personnels in church media center in Korea. The churches that they belong to have above approximately 500 church members. Among the distributed questionnaires, the 202 were collected. The results of the survey are as follows. The printed media and the AV media were managed separately in most churches. Many church media center was shared the space with other programs. The space was allocated mainly for storage. Most respondants hoped that they have a variety of areas in their churches. Many church media center have no separation between the area for the adults and that for children. However, most respondants hoped the separation of that areas. Followings are suggestions for the plan of church media center facilities. The space only for the church media center should be allocated. Church media center should be located in the first floor of the building as soon as possible. (If there is elevators in the building, it may be located above first floor). If enough space for the church media center is allocated, the areas for the adults and children should be separated by partitions or separate room. The space should consist of various areas like circulation area, reading area, working area for the personnel, production area, and storing area.

유비쿼터스 공간구현의 도시계획적 모색 : 디지털미디어스트리트를 사례로 (The Creation of Ubiquitous Space from an Urban Planning Perspective : The Case of Digital Media Street)

  • This paper presents and analyzes urban planning process to be adopted to create ubiquitous space in city environment, using City of Seoul's Digital Media Street Project as a case study. The Digital Media Street will become the main pedestrian thoroughfare in the Digital Media City (DMC) in Sangam area, planned to become the world's first ubiquitous environment in full urban scale. Ubiquitous space is reinterpreted from an urban planning perspective, and a new approach to planning such a space is introduced, including strategies to couple technology, space, and human activities. Methodology, role of different actors, planning process, and institutional arrangement are examined in turn, and this yields further agenda for improvements that can be made in planning ubiquitous spaces in the future.

  • Digital technology in modern society is entering the era of digital convergence and ubiquitous computing, and is playing an important role to overcome the limitation of time and space. Based on new media method's rapid application development, a wide range of forms as digital design is made possible. A large part of our living such as information sharing, collaboration, production, recreation, working and various social activities has been realized from the space that digital media offer. As we see a much broader range, the digital media's diverse expressions affect, in interactive ways, not only the relationship between humans and things, between each individual human, and between humans and the environment, but also even emotional purification and realm of educational, cultural, and social aspect. In this study, the aim is to discuss the user-centered design considered for integration into the interaction space design method and is to concentrate on research on. Focusing on digital media, user-friendly interface features of the space environment, construction and utilization of digital media have been applied to try to analyze the interaction effect of space that is created for the design and application of various applications and will seek ways. Thus, various case-studies have been explored where interface space is developed, creating virtual reality through cognitive basis and 3-D interface space. For example, emotional expressions are embedded for the space of commerce, education and exhibition, enabling intercommunication through haptic interface, with changing sound and visual effects which are caused by the movement of people in a certain space. With consideration of the relationship between physical environment and objects, interactive design should be achieved by providing a human oriented interface based on social, cultural and environmental aspects.

혼합현실공간(MRS)의 미디어환경 특성연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Media Environment of MRS)

  • 최근 공간디자인은 온 라인과 오프라인이 융합된 혼합현실 공간으로 진화하고 있다. 그러나 혼합현실 공간의 기준과 척도는 제시된 바 없으며 융합체계로서의 미디어환경과 표현방법 또한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 미디어환경 특성 연구는 유비쿼터스 기술 기반, 혼합현실 공간에서의 임계점으로서 중요한 위치를 차지하는 동시에 다양한 체험공간의 구축방법으로서 혼합현실 공간적 분별을 위한 기준점으로서 네 가지 미디어 환경과 표현특성을 제안하고자 한다. 1)현실공간은 인간의 시 지각에만 의존하여 보여지는 미디어환경으로 디지털 기술기반의 새로운 소재와 LED 등을 이용한 표현방법으로 발전하고 있다. 2)증강현실공간은 정보기기를 이용한 보여 지는 미디어환경으로 다양한 2D, 3D 콘텐츠가 증강되어 표현된다. 3)가상공간은 미디어 기기에 완전히 의존하여 구현되는 환경으로 공간적, 물리적 제약 없이 완벽한 그래픽정보로 표현된다. 4)증강가상공간은 가상의 스튜디오를 구성, 디스플레이를 통해서만 시청할 수 있는 환경으로 실제의 사물과 그래픽정보가 융합되어 표현된다. 혼합현실공간의 미디어 환경과 표현특성은 체험의 목적에 따라 융합, 혼합, 조합되어 공간적, 시간적, 정보적으로 제약 없이 체험 가능한 지능형정보공간으로 구현 가능하다는 것이다. 향후 미디어환경 특성에 따른 콘텐츠의 유형적 특성 연구가 필요시된다.

  • According to the passage of an age, a method which communicates each other between the city and space, and space and a human has changed. Recently, as the city is developing related with the public, the sphere and a territory of activity of a public has been wider in an environment of the city. Therefore, development of night scenery and the rise of a medium of a vision are accompanied with a new material and the high-technology. Innovation of abundant techniques tends to being surface and mass media, and breaks from the architectural aspect of space as mutual expansion of relations between interior and exterior, and making a boundary obscurely. Space design represents peculiarity of non-territorial which modern art, an advertisement, a media and a reflection are integrated as getting over above tendency. As we find out methods which the public can communicate with the space in wider territory, the public and the space can extend mutual relations and the design of modern space is been varying a part as the space which has a context of city and synthetic sociality for the public by avoiding independent objects.

  • The article examines the process of professional training in educational institutions, media technologies and methods of media communication in the educational space of the institution, characterizes the place of media technologies in the educational space in the context of the term "educational space" itself, systematizes the methods of media communications in education. The peculiarities of media education as a set of means and methods of teaching young people adequate media perception are pointed out.

대공간구조물의 Interactive Media 적용 사례 분석 (A Case Study on Using Interactive Media of Large Space Structure)

  • 인터랙티브 미디어의 적용사례를 보면 공공공간의 경우 내 외부의 소규모 공간에 관객과 작품이 상호 작용할 수 있도록 도와주고 있으며, 일반건축물은 외벽이나 벽면에 LED 프로젝터 등을 설치하여 정보전달과 광고를 위해 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 반면에 일반건축물과 공공공간의 인터랙티브 미디어의 적용과는 다르게, 대공간 구조물의 지붕에 인터랙티브 미디어를 적용한 연구에 관한 사례는 부족한 실정이다. 이 논문은 기존 일반건축물과 공공공간건물의 인터랙트 미디어를 적용한 사례를 11개의 대공간 구조물 사례 결과와 비교하여 콘텐츠, 디스플레이, 인터페이스, 기술장치 등 4 가지 항목으로 분석하였다. 대공간구조물은 (39%) 컨텐츠를 대부분 활용하여 인터랙티브 미디어를 전달하고 있으며, 차츰 놀이(27%), 광고(17%), 메시지(17%)의 순서로 다양하게 전달하는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze about the extension of user experience in the digital space. Through the digital technology and virtual space, the city's new environment is being changed. it makes people activate their aesthetic experience. Simultaneously, it elevates satisfaction levels regarding people's aesthetic experience. Research methods and settings of the range to study on the Extension of User Experience are as follows: First, establish digital space's characteristics comparing digital space at the structural change-points in modern society. Second, experience's approch way through the digital media in the contemporary space. And understand the concept about a variety of User Experience. Third. to classify the elements of access control for the user experience. Experience is being expanded through the generation process. Fourth, investigate analysis of the case studies, focused on the architecture and space design_Media installations that appear in the city park, the city's landmark buildings facade, the building facade by offering commercially applied for brand marketing_ announced through the media recently. Also, it is to look at the physical elements through digital media and to analyze the applicability of the public space. Therefore, the new approach to digital implementation shall be determined by looking in the direction of the user approaches.

  • Light is important as to say that it completes space and form. Space that is made by light is not only functional but it can be seen as a place where space and people communicate to each other. Recently mass media is embossed as communication method. Light is the most instant and affluent factor among what consists of the image of space to express sensitivity. Especially the artificial lighting plays an important role in the presentation of space in the mass media with the progress of technology. Therefore this study's purposes are to search how the artificial light present the image of space in the mass media and to suggest alternative methods to present the image with artificial lighting.
