코로나방전과 공간전하제어에 의한 고효율 기능수 발생특성 (A High Effeciency Functional Water Generation Characteristics by Corona Discharge and Space Charge Control)

  • 본 논문은 종래형 전해수 발생장치의 평판전극을 슬릿형 평행평판전극 구조로 함으로써 고효율의 강전해수 발생장치를 제안하였다. 염화나트륨이 용해된 수도수와 일반 수도수를 본 강전해수 발생장치에 인입하였을 때 전해수 생성공간내의 공간전하제한작용을 크게 감소시키면서 또한 이 전해수 생성공간내의 전계분포를 집중시킬 수 있는 슬릿형 평행평판전극을 설정하고, 이러한 슬릿의 형태와 개수증가가 수중 이온분리집속성능에 미치는 영향과 산화성물질 생성에 미치는 영향을 연구 검토하였다. 실험결과 수중 강전해수 발생장치내에 슬릿을 형성함으로써 전해수 발생공간내의 전계를 집중시키고 분리집속된 고농도의 이온들에 의한 공간전하 제한작용을 크게 감소시켜 저전력에서 기존의 전해수 발생장치보다 훨씬 고농도의 강전해수와 산화성물질 용존수를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Interfacial effect in polymetric composites have been studied extensively. This report deals mainly with the effects of interfacial space charge and interface structure. A model for the dynamic process of interfacial space charge accumulation is proposed. The new model might interpret some interface phenomena which is difficult to be explained in terms of traditional Maxwell-Wagner theory. An interface structure is also presented, by which the importance of surface treatment of glass Fiber for improving the properties of FRP could be well understood.

Absence of Distinctively High Grain-Boundary Impedance in Polycrystalline Cubic Bismuth Oxide

  • In this work, we studied a fluorite structure oxides: Yttria stabilized zirconia, (YSZ); Gd doped $CeO_2$ (GDC); erbia stabilized $Bi_2O_3$ (ESB); Zr doped erbia stabilized $Bi_2O_3$ (ZESB); Ca doped erbia stabilized $Bi_2O_3$ (CESB) in the temperature range of 250 to $600^{\circ}C$ using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). As is well known, grain boundary blocking effect was observed in YSZ and GDC. However, there is no grain boundary effect on ESB, ZESB, and CESB. The Nyquist plots of these materials exhibit a single arc at low temperature. This means that there is no space charge effect on ${\delta}-Bi_2O_3$. In addition, impedance data were analyzed by using the brick layer model. We indirectly demonstrate that grain boundary ionic conductivity is similar to or even higher than bulk ionic conductivity on cubic bismuth oxide.

  • Polyehtylene[PE] in polymer insulation materials of used power cable have carried out in abundance of experiment and study for electrical conduction. insulation breakdown. dielectric character and so on. When apply to field for power cable to make PE, application of DC withstand test to put in practice for inspection is get to effect accumulated space charge. In this paper, to make use of Pulsed Electro-Acoustic(PEA). It is analysis to take shape space charges under AC and DC voltage, clear up the point at issue for effect of DC withstand test.

  • A new type electrolyzing cell with slits on parallel plate electrodes and wire-to-cylinder type electrode system has been proposed instead of the conventional parallel plate type. An investigation was carried out on the effect of the number and size of slits on ion precipitation and oxidant generation characteristics, evidenced by eliminated space charge limiting action and by elevated electric fields in active interelectrode spacing. And it is also studied on the effect of the diameter of wire electrode to ion precipitation and oxidant generation characteristics. With electrode with 48 slits, very oxidants generation water of 3.1 [ppmm] and 19.0 [ppmm] in positive electrode side were obtained with tap water and 0.1 [wt%] NaCl dissolved tap waterfed. In addition, with wire-to-cylinder type electrode system, it is found that oxidant contained water of 0.48 [ppmm] and 5.46 [ppmm] in positive electrode side were obtained with tap water and 0.1 [wt%] NaCl dissolved tap water fed for the case of discharge electrode diameter of 0.5 [$mm{\phi}$]. Consequently, very high ion precipitation and dense oxidant generation characteristics can be realized by having slits on the electrodes of conventional cell as these slits increase the electric fields and decrease the space charge limiting actions in interelectrode spacing.

지역시설복합 무료노인복지시설의 거주만족도 (Residential Satisfaction of No-Charge Welfare Facility for the Elderly Integrated with Community Facility)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess the residential satisfaction of no-charge welfare facility for the elderly, and to examine the effect of the integration with pay-training institute on residential satisfaction. The data were collected from staffs and fifty one residents of welfare facility by interview and questionnaire. The statistical analysis was conducted to identify the residential satisfaction. A half of the elderly were aged over seventy five years old, eighty four percents of them were female, and seventy seven percents of them were non-educated. Forty two percents of the elderly considered themselves to be unhealthy, but the ADL data reveals that they are relatively healthy. The most of residents are highly satisfied with whole welfare facility. But, the level of satisfaction on the bathroom, the storing space, the cooking table and the benches were relatively low. These dissatisfactions can be solved by the expanding of the storing space, setting up of a common washing room and electric cooking stove, and the increasing of the number of benches. Also, it was recommended for the elderly to set up the Ondol-style rest room with the western style rest room. The level of satisfaction on the attached training institute with no-charge welfare facility for the elderly were high. This has positive effect on residential satisfaction of the elderly. Therefore, the community integrated welfare facility can be the alternative plan for the enhancement of residential satisfaction and quality of elderly life.

$TiO_2$ 의 유전성에 미치는 $Sb_2O_3$ 영향 (Effect of Antimony Sesquioxide on the Dielectric Property of Rutile $(TiO_2)$)

  • The effect of the additive on the dielectric property of $TiO_2$ containing 0-2.5wt %. $Sb_2O_3$ was investigated as a function of frequency from $5{\times}10^4$ to $6.3{\times}10^7$ cps and temperature from 25 to 375$^{\circ}C$. The dielectric constant increased with increasing $Sb_2O_3$ concentration from 0.25 to 0.5wt.% It is due to space charge polarization caused by increasing anion vacanices. The dielectric constant decreased for further increase in $Sb_2O_3$ concentration. It can be explained by increasing grain size effect rather than space charge polarization.

  • As soon as a new air filter is applied to an air purification process, the filter gets loaded with dust particles. Thus, the study on the particle loading characteristics of air filter is very essential in order to understand the real filtration phenomena during filter use. In this study, we investigated the effect of particle and filter charge on the particle loading property of air filter. Charged filter and uncharged filter prepared by discharging the charged filter by isopropyl alcohol were used as test samples, and three types of particle having different charge states were supplied to filters tested. For neutralized particles there was a big difference in areal mass loading rates between charged and uncharged filters due to the very small amount of particle charge, on the other hand the difference was diminished for atomized particle and finally almost vanished for corona charged particles. The pressure drop of filter loaded with corona charged particles was only half of those for neutralized and atomized particles at the same areal mass loading because of the porous structure of particle deposit formed on filter fibers, caused by the space charge effect between particles.

  • The interfacial charge distribution was investigated using PE laminate system. It was found that a proper treatment of the interlace could decrease the amount of charge accumulated at the interfaces. High lamination temperature and long lamination time brought about little interfacial charge. It was also observed that the interfacial charge could be decreased by the addition of chemicals which had charge trap or hopping site.

Current Density Equations Representing the Transition between the Injection- and Bulk-limited Currents for Organic Semiconductors

  • The theoretical current density equations for organic semiconductors was derived according to the internal carrier emission equation based on the diffusion model at the Schottky barrier contact and the mobility equation based on the field dependence model, the so-called "Poole-Frenkel mobility model." The electric field becomes constant because of the absence of a space charge effect in the case of a higher injection barrier height and a lower sample thickness, but there is distribution in the electric field because of the space charge effect in the case of a lower injection barrier height and a higher sample thickness. The transition between the injection- and bulk-limited currents was presented according to the Schottky barrier height and the sample thickness change.
