The purpose of this study is to investigate the method on improving the frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities and to evaluate relation between improving the frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities and improving the sense of community in apartments. The research subjects of this study is the four public lease apartments which is built around same period with same design guide. The survey method is a questionnaire survey, a experimental study, focus group interview, an analysing drawing. The result of study is as follows. The first, the frequency of use and satisfaction rate have been effected by the operation management system as well as the physical circumstance. The second, The frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities have had positive correlation with sense of community. The third, multimedia room and conference room with low usability need to change a multipurpose space such as cafe, classroom for learning on artistic topic with high demand from occupant. Finally, a mindset shift is required for architects to inspire community facilities as an important mediated space improving the sense of community by suggesting spaces for leisure and hobby activities.

No doubt that more vast data and precise values are required for the detailed and accurate analysis result. People's expectation for the output of space application goes higher, and consequently satellite memory system has to process massive data faster. This paper reviews memory systems of KOMPSAT (Korea Multi-Purpose SATellite) series and try to find a suitable memory system structure to process data more faster not at device level but at system level.

In this paper, we analyze the performance of transmitter and receiver of W-CDMA system using the channel coding and space time code in downlink over ITU-R realistic channel model. We can improve the reliability of communications and increase the data rate by channel coding, and we can get a diversity gain by using the space time code over fading channels. We also apply the RAKE receiver to improve tile performance in multi-Path fading channel environment.

We derived the average bit error rate (BER) of coherent free-space optical (FSO) systems with digital binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulations over atmospheric turbulence channels with a gamma-gamma distribution. To obtain a generalized derivation in a closed-form expression, we used special integrals and transformations of the Meijer G function. Furthermore, we numerically analyzed and simulated the average BER behavior according to the average SNR for different turbulence strengths. Simulation results are demonstrated to confirm the analytical results.

본 논문에서는 대역폭 효율적 고속전송이 가능한 직렬 인쇄 시·공간 부호(Serially Concatenated Space-Time Code; SCSTC)를 제안하고 성능을 분석한다. 제안된 직렬 연쇄 시·공간 부호와 외부의 컨볼루셔널 부호를 인터리버를 사용하여 직렬로 연결한 구조이다. 제안된 부호는 시·공간 부호의 장점인 고속전송 특성을 유지하면서 단점으로 낮은 BER 성능을 향상시킨다. 제안된 시스템의 성능은 기존의 대역폭 효율적 트렐리스 부호 방식인 직렬 연쇄 트렐리스 부호 변조(Serially Concatenated Trellis Coded Modulation; SCTCM) 및 병렬 연쇄 트렐리스 부호 변조(Turbo-Trellis Coded Modulation; Turbo-TCM)와 비교하였으며 이에 비해 향상된 BER 성능을 얻었다.

Alamouti 직교 시공간 블록 부호(Orthogonal Space-Time Block Code; OSTBC)에 적용된 BICM(Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation)은 부호율 손실 문제를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 직교 시공간 블록 부호(Orthogonal Space-Time Block Code; OSTBC)를 확장하여 확장된 OSTBC(eXpanded OSTBC; XOSTBC)를 구성하고, 여기에 비트 인터리브 된 부호화 변조(Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation; BICM)을 적용하여 부호율의 손실 없이 다이버시티 이득을 얻도록 하였다. BPSK의 경우에 대한 설계 예제와 이에 대한 모의실험 결과가 제시된다.

We compare vertical profiles of the extraplanar $H{\alpha}$ emission to those of FUV and NUV emission for 39 nearby edge-on galaxies to investigate the origin of the extraplanar $H{\alpha}$ emission. A strong correlation between scale heights of the extraplanar $H{\alpha}$ and UV emissions is found. This may indicate that the diffuse extraplanar $H{\alpha}$ emission either co-exists with the extraplanar dust or originates from the similar mechanism as the diffuse extraplanar UV emission such as scattering of $H{\alpha}$ photons at diffuse extraplanar dust. The scale heights of the extraplanar $H{\alpha}$ and UV emissions are also compared with size, star formation rate, and star formation rate surface density of the host galaxies to figure out what is the most important parameter associated with the extraplanar emission.

We present the interim results of simultaneous observations of SiO and H2O masers toward 401 known stellar SiO and/or H2O maser sources (166 both SiO and H2O maser sources, 83 only SiO maser sources, and 152 only H2O maser sources) using KVN_Yonsei telescope. The results of 166 known SiO/H2O maser sources will be presented by Kim et al. and the results of 83 only SiO maser sources and 152 only H2O maser sources presented here. Both SiO and H2O maser emission were detected from 30 sources giving a detection rate of 36 % toward known 83 only SiO maser sources, while they were detected from 66 sources giving a detection rate of 43 % toward known 152 only H2O maser sources at one epoch observation. Only SiO masers were detected from 42 sources toward 83 only SiO sources, while they were detected from 28 sources toward 152 only H2O sources. Characteristics of these observed sources in the IRAS two-color diagram is investigated including mutual relations between SiO and H2O maser emission. In addition, these results will be useful for statistical study of late-type stars and future VLBI observations.

본 논문에서는 언어장애인용 문장발생장치의 통신율을 증진시키기 위한 처리방안으로 신경망을 이용하여 문장발생장치에 통사예측을 적용하는 방법을 제안하고 유용성을 확인하였다. 각 단어들은 구문론과 의미론에 따른 정보벡터로 표현되었으며 언어처리는 전통적으로 사전을 포함하는 방법과는 다르게 상태공간에서 다양한 영역으로 분류되어 개념적으로 유사한 단어는 상태공간에서의 위치를 통하여 알게 된다. 사용자가 의미심볼을 누르면 의미심볼에 해당하는 단어는 상태공간에서의 위치를 찾아가며 입력에 따른 동사예측의 중복성을 막기 위하여 신경망을 이용하여 클래스화한 후 동사를 예측하였고 그 결과 제한된 공간 내에서 약 $20\%$ 통신율 증진을 가져올 수 있었다.

This paper not only reviews recent trends and characteristics of welfare facilities, but also proposes main components such as building materials and furniture applying a traditional Korean house. This paper aims to utilize interior design and construction materials of unit-care welfare facility applying the traditional Korean house. Results are as follows. 1. The rate of the private bedroom as elderly welfare facilities is 63.1%; on the contrary, the rate of the 4-person bedroom is 63.2%. The expansion of the private bedroom is an urgent need in order to improve the quality of residences. 2. According to elderly services needs and revitalization for the traditional Korean house, it is required to implementation the unit-care facilities for the elderly and interior design for the traditional Korean house. 3. The interior design for the traditional Korean house is applied to elderly living space such as a bedroom and a living room; it is not applied to care space and management space such as a nurse station and an office occupied by employees. 4. There is no problem to construct space applying the traditional Korean house using interior products currently being sold in the domestic market. 5. Standardized mass production is essential to popularize the traditional Korean house style interior.
