  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 axes SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

  • To utilize the uranium resources contained in the spent nuclear fuel generated from the nuclear power plants, the remote handling and dismantling technology is required. The dismantling process of the sport fuel is the most common process involved in the spent fuel recycling, the rod consolidation and the disposal processes. Since the machine used in the dismantling process are located and operated in isolated space, so called a hot cell, the reliability of machines is very important. To enhance the reliability of the process, in this research, the graphical monitoring system is developed for the fuel dismantling process. The graphic model of each machine is composed of many parts and every parts of the graphic model are given their own kinematics.   • This paper describes the development and implementation for the SYMBOLGEN(SYMBOL GENerator) software. The SYMBOL-GEN software is for improving graphic processing speed and decreasing data communication load in ASC by genera ting and downloading off-line symbol file for HUD and MFD , which are the main display equipments in military aircraft. The SYMBOL-GEN is developed on PC using C++ language and MS Visual Studio 6.0 development tool. It is also designed to be modified and extended easily by introducing object-oriented software development technique.

  • LED design works make user experience the conditions of time and space, and enable maximized spatial exploration and pursuit of ultimate sources. Light itself includes an ample dimension of time and, through the process of on and off, time-duration, similarity, and discontinuation is reorganized. LED design works make people experience the conditions of time and space, and enable maximized spatial exploration and pursuit of ultimate sources. LED design have been approached more from the viewpoint of material than from the viewpoint of aesthetics. LED based environmental design will be embedded deeply into our life with the technology of ubiquitous city. As the problem of the light intensity, tempo of change LED motion graphic and colors, substitutability is almost completely resolved now, LED is have more potentials than any other material as a tool of motion graphic. These result well make that using of LED is could be better useful from now on. In edition, users could be offered better beneficial lighting environment, and they will enjoy their better lives in the future.

  • UV-curable resins have adventages of quick set, space saving, clean environment, and efficient use of energy. The polymerization induced phase separation has been studied to solve the problem in UV-curing of thick films and develop the new functional materials. On the exposure to UV irradiation, the dynamic elasticity properties were mesured for mixtures of alkyd resin and UV-cruable monomers which have different molecular structures and molecular weights. The curing rate increases with increasing temperature and UV intensity. In addition, The gel point is strongly influenced by temperature and UV intensity
