예선서비스는 항만 안전 확보를 위해 필수적인 서비스이다. 하지만, 상대적으로 낮은 예선시장 진입장벽으로 인해, 예선업체의 수는 증가하였으며, 이에 업체 간 과당경쟁 발생과 서비스의 질적 저하에 대한 우려가 높아지고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 예선업자에 대한 서비스 품질평가 제도 마련이 시급하지만, 아직까지 본격적인 시행은 요원한 상황이다. 본 연구의 목적은 예선서비스의 품질 향상과 함께 공공재적 성격을 강화하기 위한 수단으로 인식되는 예선서비스 평가 제도의 시행을 위해 실제적으로 적용이 가능한 예선서비스 품질평가 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌 및 사례연구, 전문가 인터뷰 등을 통해 2개의 대분류와 8개의 중분류, 25개의 세부 평가지표로 구성된 평가모형을 개발하였으며, AHP 분석을 시행하여 평가 항목의 상대적인 중요도를 도출하고 배점의 근거를 마련하였다. 분석 결과, 경영평가보다는 이용자만족도의 가중치가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 경영평가의 세부지표별 가중치는 시설관리-경영관리-재무건전성 순으로 나타나 서비스에 직접적으로 활용하는 시설의 관리가 중요한 것으로 분석되었다. 이용자만족도는 안전성-정시성-서비스만족도-편리성-투명성 순으로 나타나 안전성 확보가 최우선이며, 예선서비스 제공을 위한 프로세스의 편리성과 투명성보다 안전성과 정시성 같은 서비스 본연의 품질 개선이 우선적으로 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

The operational efficiency of domestic gas turbine is about 25% and it is now in the trend of the gradual growth in spite of the severe temperature, frequent starting and shutdown according to the environmental management and the energy-efficient use. Rotor bolts of gas turbine in power plants have been the cause of defects because these gas turbines have been operated for a long time under the high pressure and temperature environment experiencing the aging change and stress concentration of the bonded part. The connection parts of the bolt revealed various failure shape and these parts were elongated under very low pressure when operated in the relaxed condition. The cause is in the lack of the metal distribution in the bottle lack area and the cap screw of the bolt is broken totally in case that the nut is fastened in most cases. Gas turbine rotor bolts are connected to the rotor wheel and these bolts caused the vibration, the bulk accident of the rotor in the event that the coupling power among these bolts was relaxed. Therefore, we would like to evaluate the soundness of the main part of the gas turbine rotor bolt through the measurement of the inner condition change along with the mechanic deterioration and temperature, stress in the gas turbine rotor material.

We worried about the technology difference between our company and the advanced company at present motor market and are asked to set up the independent coil insulation system to accumulate insulation technology data. And to export our products at oversee market, we are asked to the evaluation of insulation performance to show our product excellence. In this study, we evaluated the insulation system of our motor, and studied the insulation diagnosis technology systematically to do site diagnosis. We are now accumulating the measured data. And also to reduce the initial insulation failure, we performed the insulation characteristic test and acquired the data to evaluate the initial soundness. We are doing the improvement of the insulation system. And also these data were used to new product development as very useful data, also will be used in the insulation deterioration diagnosis to estimate the remained life time which is very important data for the maintenance management. As the result, we were able to get our product reliability.

Soundness evaluation of a structure being constructed under the sea is usually difficult. In this study, a cross-hole sonic logging(CSL) which have been used for non-destructive test of concrete piles is adopted for the integrity test and monitoring of DCM(deep cement mixing) treated soils. Chemical and physical characteristics of raw ground materials are analysed to delineate ground environmental effects on the strength of DCM treated soils. In order to convert cross-hole sonic logging data into compressive strength, correlations between compressive strengths and wave velocities of core samples have been obtained. It is found that there is little effect of ground environment on the strength of the DCM treated soils, and the density distribution of core samples and cross-hole logging data show that a defective zone may exist in the DCM treated soils. With the time lapse, however, the defective zone has been cured and consequently, compressive strength of the DCM treated soils increases and satisfies the design parameter. From this study it can be concluded that the cross-hole sonic logging can be used for the integrity test as well as monitoring the curing stage of the structures, successfully.

This study estimates the influence of organizational-level factors on work motivation and job performance of middle managers of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. A 5-point-Likert-scale structural questionnaire consisting of 36 observation variables was used to survey middle managers of Vietnamese SMEs. 425 out of 500 responses collected were valid for multivariate data analysis. The results of confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling reveal three main findings. First, philosophy and policy, compensation and benefits, goal system, and leadership have positively significant impacts on the work motivation of middle managers under investigation. Second, there is a significantly positive influence of work motivation on job performance. However, there is no indication that growth opportunities, work environment, evaluation system have significant impacts on the work motivation of respondents. Based on the findings, the study suggests four recommendations for Vietnamese SMEs to improve motivation and job performance of middle managers, which are (1) ensuring the clarity and soundness of the organizational policies and philosophies, especially human resources policy that boosts employees' work motivation; (2) building a comprehensive compensation and benefit system to attract and retain talented employees; (3) developing a clear and adequate goal system; (4) enhancing top-level managers' leadership abilities.

To tranquilize the devastating impact of unnecessary risk-taking behavior of banks towards the economy for maximizing their profits that usually arises due to widely known 'moral-hazard' problem originating from market competition and intensified by bank's limited liability, the banking system is strongly monitored across all countries of the world. The goal of controlling would become more feasible if there exist some self-discipline and motivations which could safeguard the banks' charter value through the mechanism of market discipline. Therefore, our study is aimed to scrutinize the relation between market discipline and charter value of local commercial banks that are registered on the Pakistan Stock Exchange by analyzing a balanced panel data from the year 2007 to 2019. Deposit growth, interbank deposits, and subordinate debt are taken as proxies to measure market discipline whereas Tobin's Q theory is applied for calculating the charter value. Generalized Least Square Regression with Fixed Effect Model is used for evaluation. The outcomes reveal that in the existence of control variables, all proxies of market discipline have a significant positive impact on bank charter value. Our research has important policy implications for monitoring and supervising financial intermediaries for their stability and soundness by offsetting the complications of moral-hazard in the financial systems.

Considering the case in the United States where most nuclear power plants with an initial design life of 40 years continue to operate until 60 or 80 years after undergoing material soundness evaluation, it is time to plan a more robust long-term operation strategy for nuclear power plants in Korea. There are some reports that SRO/LRO might be formed when Alloy 690 is heat treated for 10,000 hours to 100,000 hours at 360 to 450 ℃. The possibility of LRO formation in Alloy 690 steam generator tubings of Kori nuclear power plant unit 1 (Kori-1) was investigated using existing research papers. The mechanism in which SRO/LRO occurred was also surveyed. Alloy 690 was found to be more likely to cause ordering than Alloy 600 in terms of alloy composition. The ordering could be evaluated through changes in material properties. However, it is difficult to evaluate it from a microstructural point of view. The likelihood of LRO in Alloy 690 of the Kori-1 plant operated at 320 ℃ for 19 years seemed to be low in terms of time and exposure temperature.

Although the proportion of coal-fired power generation is decreasing, efficient operating technology is needed to continuously invest in facilities and reduce maintenance costs until it is abolished. Boilers, one of the main facilities of power plants, operate for a long time in harsh environments of high temperature and high pressure. In addition, damage due to deterioration is likely to occur depending on the fuel and tube material used. It is very important to judge soundness because damage caused by deterioration adversely affects facility operation. Previously, replication method was used to analyze the progress of deterioration. In the replication method, pre-treatment such as chemical treatment is performed on the boiler tube in the field, the area is reproduced by attaching a film, and the replicated film is determined by an expert in the laboratory with an expensive microscope. However, this method involves substantial costs and time requirements, as well as the possibility of human errors. To address these issues, we developed a mobile health assessment system in this research. Since it is detachable and takes images in real time, this system enables swift evaluations across a broad range and facilitates the assessment of preprocessing quality. In addition, it was intended to reduce existing human mistakes by developing a degradation classification algorithm using the merger cluster method.

장애인과 보호자와의 관계 유형에 따른 장애인의 구강건강상태의 관련성을 알아보고자 장애인 보호자에게 장애인과 보호자의 응집력과 의사소통과정을 자기기입식으로 설문 조사하였고, 장애인의 구강건강상태는 DMFT index, 제1대구치 건강도, Pocket depth로 평가표를 작성하여 총 78부를 분석하였다. 통계프로그램은 SPSS win. 24.0을 이용하였으며 유의수준은 .05에서 검증하였다. 장애인과 보호자와의 관계 유형에 따른 장애인과 보호자의 응집력(p<.01), 의사소통과정(p<.01)에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 장애인의 구강건강상태에서는 DMFT index(p<.01), 제1대구치 건강도(p<.01), Pocket depth(p<.01)에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 따라서 장애인에게 어머니는 응집력, 의사소통과정, 구강건강상태 등 대부분의 항목에서 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 장애인과의 응집력, 의사소통과정 등에서 낮은 영향을 미친 활동보조인력과 장애인의 구강건강상태에 낮은 영향을 미친 배우자에게는 장애인과 보호자의 관계 중요성을 제시함으로써 장애인 구강건강관리법 및 관심도를 높일 수 있는 정책적 지원 및 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구는 손해보험회사 경영평가를 하기 위하여 국내 및 미국과 일본의 각각 상위 5개 손해보험회사들의 경영실적을 바탕으로 A.M. Best사의 신용평가 기준에 의거하여 각 경영지표 부문별 및 전체점수를 산정 하였다. 경영평가 부문은 성장성, 효율성, 수익성, 안전성, 유동성 부문이며 도출된 결과를 근거로 국내 보험사와 미국 선진회사 및 일본 손해보험사와 비교하여 국내 손해보험 업계에 주는 시사점 및 개선점을 도출하였다. 경영평가 결과를 보면 국내5개 상위 손해보험회사는 성장성 측면에서는 우수하지만 효율성과 수익성면에서는 보통이며 유동성과 안전성면에서 향상을 지속적으로 추진하는 것이 과제라 할 수 있다. 따라서 국내 상위 손해보험회사들은 미국 및 일본 상위사에 비하여 담보력 강화를 통한 안전성 향상과 유동성 지표의 개선이 필요하다. 즉 국내 손해보험회사들은 유동성지표 개선이 필수적이며 글로벌 보험회사로 성장하기 위해서는 수익성 개선을 통해 담보력 확대를 꾀하여 대형물건 및 재보험 보유 확대를 통한 규모 확대가 필요하다 하겠다.
