This is a study of a long term project to encourage the Korean fishing industry. It seeks to supply a sound theoretical background in an attempt to liberalize the capital investment of the industry. However, the discussions developed in this thesis are based on, the existing world's fisheries resources, the possibility of their prospective cultivation, and the analysis of the evolution of Korean fisheries and fisheries organization. According to the reasults of the analysis ; out of the prospective world fisheries resources which are estimated at about 200 millions m/t the total yield per year is only about 70 millions m/t (1969), and Korea occupies only 850 thousands m/t. This therefore means that the Korean fishing industry allows much room for further growth. But the purpose of Korea's existing fishing industry organizations is entirely directed toword coastal fisheries and their functions never reache beyond the limit of off-shore fisheries. Thus almost 99% of the fisheries population engage in small scale fisheries along the coast line. The result is that the resource are almost exhausted by such over-exploitation. Being faced by this fact, it is of urgent necessity to modernize the management of fisheries as well as to encourage larger scale management of fisheries industries. This should be accompanied by the liberalization of capital investment. For this purpose this study also recommends the unification or annexation of small organizations to establish larger ones that will function for a larger scale industry. and further this study recommends that, in order to reorganize the existing fisheries organizations, a principle of selection should be applied in the areas of (1) maximum sustainable yields, (2) the possibility of forming an enterprise and (3) the maintenance of organization stability.

Recently, types of mobile services are ever-growing with technological advances, such as CDMA 2000, 256 Color LCD, 16 channel sound chip set and easy internet access. However, manual system that is supposed to support users for finding features and functions doesn't help users most of the cases since users are moving. Therefore, mobile sonics needs new concept for manual system that can support users while they are in use In this research report, new concept for interactive manual system is suggested. Then a guideline for interactive manual system is developed as a result from three empirical studies. First, ten information visualization methods used for describing functions are positioned on user's perception map. Secondly, user behavior pattern of getting required information from written manual was analyzed. Finally, visual cue system was selected as one of options for developing interactive manual system and a guideline was developed based on these research results.

Recently, VOD market is getting increased and most of public, educational organization, enterprises are providing service as content managing system of WMV standard subordinated to Window OS of Microsoft company. VOD CMS of WMV standard have problem that frequent cut-off, small-size of screen, and image quality which is also chronic problem. In order to solve this problem, technology solving the problem has developed through minimization of buffering time, screen size, high quality sound, and high quality image by image codec and streaming engine which is H. 264. But there are still a problem that systematic management of contents or distribution is difficult. This study expected that there would be a effect preoccupying significant stand of world wide H.264 high quality image mobile VOD managing market by securing domestic on-line VOD contents integrated managing technology by designing system for image VOD contents management having a limit in wmv market and combining H.264 which is new technology.

Iatrogenic ureteral injury is a complication that can occur during a variety of pelvic or abdominal surgeries. The most frequent causes are gynecological ones, followed by colon and vascular surgeries. Management of ureteric injury depends on the time of diagnosis and the severity of organ damage. Injuries diagnosed intraoperatively should be treated immediately. Occasionally, intraoperative ureteral injury is overlooked, and symptoms of the late diagnosis of ureteral injury are usually nonspecific; therefore, the diagnosis is delayed for days or weeks postoperatively. Management of injuries diagnosed postoperatively is more complex. There are differing opinions on whether an initial conservative or immediate operative intervention is the best line of action. Delayed repair is suggested on the grounds that it will reduce inflammation and tissue edema. However, many authors are in favor of early repair, perhaps because tissue planes are easier to find before fibrosis becomes too dense. Ureteral injuries occurring at the level of the pelvic brim should be best managed with an end-to-end anastomosis, preferably around a ureteric stent. More distal injuries also should be ideally managed with an end-to-end anastomosis, after excision of the crushed or compromised segments. However, if the remaining distal segment is short, ureteral reimplantation is the procedure of choice. The Boari flap technique for ureteral reimplantation is invaluable in cases with a short proximal segment. Delayed recognition of iatrogenic ureteral injury may be associated with serious complications, so prompt recognition of ureteral injuries is important. Recognition of the injury before closure is the key to easy, successful, and complications-free repair. Increased awareness of the risk for ureteral damage during certain operative maneuvers is vital to prevent injury, and to decrease the incidence of iatrogenic injury. A sound knowledge of abdominal and pelvic anatomy is the best prevention.

In everyday mobile phone calls between the disabled and non-disabled people due to neurological impairment, the communication accuracy is often hindered by combining the accuracy of pronunciation due to the neurological impairment and the pronunciation features of the disabled. In order to improve this problem, the limiting method is MEMS (micro electro mechanical systems), which includes an induction line that artificially corrects difficult vocalization according to the oral characteristics of the language impaired by improving the word of out of vocabulary. mechanical System) Microphone device improvement. S/W improvement is decision tree with invert function, and improved matrix-vector rnn method is proposed considering continuous word characteristics. Considering the characteristics of H/W and S/W, a similar dictionary was created, contributing to the improvement of speech intelligibility for smooth communication.

Recently, the 'Ecological Network Restoration Project at Chupungnyeong' has been placed; this project is located at the center of the Baekdu mountain spine, the core of the ecological network of the Korean Peninsula. In the process of industrialization since the early 1900s, this area has been under railroad and road construction; as such, wildlife movements have been interrupted and many cases of road-kill have been found. The investment in railroads has increased because railroads are an environmentally sound means of transportation. Single track railways have been converted to double track electric railways and track reforming projects are underway in order to speed up the current railway system. This study suggests to take land use as a standard for assessing the ecological weaknesses of the domestic geo-spaces that are to be affected by rapid extension of railway lines. The land cover map issued by the Ministry of Environment was overlapped with the Korean Railway Line Map for analysis. The results showed that five items were high in sensitivity: paddy fields, fields, deciduous forests, bare land, and inland waters. It seems to be necessary to set weights for highly sensitive land use types; also, specific evaluation criteria need to be reestablished.

A phased array ultrasonic nondestructive inspection system is being developed to obtain images of the interior of steel structures by modifying a medical ultrasound imaging system. The medical system consists of 64 individual transceiver channels that can drive 128 array elements. Several modifications of the system were required mainly due to the change of sound speed. It was necessary to fabricate array transducers for steel structure and to obtain A-scan signal that is necessary for the nondestructive testing. Boundary diffraction wave model was used for the prediction of radiation beam field from array transducers, which provided guidelines to design array transducers. And a RF data acquisition board was fabricated for the A-scan signal acquisition along a selected un line within an image. For the proper beam forming in the transmission and reception for steel structure, delay time was controlled. To demonstrate the performance of the developed system and fabricated transducers, images of artificial specimens and A-scan signals for selected scan lines were obtained in a real time fashion.

Those who were from Jaeincheon and Jaein line entertainers played great roles during transition period from traditional society to modern society, and even at present the dances of them are the representative traditional dances of Korea and the matrix of Korean originality. Nevertheless, Korea dance field has given little importance to these dances, but too much importance to Gibang dance in studying traditional dances, which causes the studies on Jaein line danced to be superficial or separate. Therefore, the aims of this article are to analyze the dances of Jaein line by Han Seong-jun, who was representative for the dances, and to appraise the historical value of them. Han Seong-jun(1874-1942) was the most influential dummer and dancer of his day in Japanese colonial times, and has been recognized as one of the masters of traditional dances. He established autonomy of traditional dances by reorganizing, collecting and stage-formalizing the dances, and systemized transmitting ways for various folk dances including a Buddhist dance, which made it possiblefor those dances to be traditional dances of Korea and the bases for creative dances. The values of Jaein line dances, which were transmitted through Han, are the following: First, the dances have been designated as national or regional intangible cultural assets, and, as the representative traditional arts, we proudly show them to the world. Second, the dances, as one of the genres of Korean dances, are the subjects of younger scholars' studies. Third, the dances become one of the representative examples of revivals of traditional dances, which tend to be extinct during modernization times, and contribute to establishing national identity and subjectivity. In addition, they contribute to discovering and transmitting other traditional dances. Fourth, the dances enable many dancers to make association, that is, Association for Preservation of Traditional Dances,for the transmitting the dances, and to distribute the dances and get many dancers to transmit the dances. Furthermore, as new performance repertories, they give another pleasure to the audience. In addition to the above, as a base for expansion of Korean creative dances, Han's dances have other values such as the following: First, in searching for a new methodology for creation, he played an important role in rediscovering the foundation in the tradition, and tried to discover nationalidentity by employing the traditional dances for expression of theme. Second, he contributed to drastically dissolving the genres by expanding the gesture language from motion factors of traditional dances, which can be compared to the modern dance. Third, he tried new challenging approaches to re-create the tradition, and contributed to pursuing the simple elements of our traditional dances as traditional aesthetics. While the dances of Jaein line have such values as the above, there are also some problems around the dances, such as the confusion in the process of transmission resulted from different transmission forms and transmitters, which we must no longer leave as it is. Furthermore, it is urgent that the rest of Jaein line dances be recovered and designated as intangible cultural assets for the sound transmission of the traditional dances.

It's not easy to renew old brand of over 50 years history to the tastes of new consumer of our time. Most of national brands that has a history of some 20 years in Korea have strove for continuation and growth of brand to no avails, which can be taken as a good example of current situation. For instance, C company, one of the National brand of US which has a history of 51 years, has made its position secure as a fashion group and based itself on a sound foundation by establishing new marketing strategy and completing successful brand renewal in the process of strategic M&A with Italian company. Those successful marketing strategies are as follows. 1) they regarded both market and consumer oriented marketing activity as company's highest priority strategy and put great emphasis upon concentration on target market and reestablishment of brand image of business casual wear. 2) Setting up and operating planning team composed of merchandizer alone in Milano, they set the direction of plan on the basis of concentrated research on potential item in market according to thorough market research done by buying office in Korea, branch office in Hong Kong and buyer in US prior to blueprint planning for season. 3) Great emphasis was placed on business which focused on intensive presentation of basic key item for apparel career women who are main consumer group in the midium-low prices market in US and on supplementation of size and color. they named this line 'collectibles' and helped their customer develop their own clothes plan without worrying about the change of color and fabric by supporting same fabric and color throughout the year and enabled them to add variation easily by supplementing new trend item. 4) Company set black as a main color that lots of apparel career women find easy to care and to express their own image and presented them with pebble which belongs to navy and beige and added fashion color such as wine and brown etc as season goes by. They constructed basic line in order for their customers to coordinate purchased item with new one or to add them to present collection, and to achieve efficient sale by setting up strategy which allows this cross coordination and changing pattern occasionally. 5) Though basic jacket for 99$, short slim skirt for 49$ are products within midium-low prices range, in the material planning stage aiming at production of item that has both resonable function appealing to consumer and is fashionable, synthetic material had to be used as a main source due to price competitiveness. Despite this situation, considering comfortable sense of fit and refined drape of silhouette that has no sign of cheap material, whole collectible line was divided into two items, which contributed to reduction of cost. In case of material that is composed of triacetate and polyester in 70 to 30 ratio, was used up to 4 million yard, which allowed drastic curtailment of cost accompanied by concentration. In case of 'collectibles' line, using Korean material mainly, C company chose to have their product sewed in Southeast Asian countries where transportation is well developed and both productivity and quality verified by operating global production system which aiming at cutdown of cost through outsourcing production from the country where labor cost is low and getting finished product. Polarization between present consumers telling us that consumers with the mind of middle classes in the past no longer exists between consumers who seek after only fine article of highest quality and wise consumers who are sensible enough to judge bubble on correlation between price and quality. To cope with this change in new consumer mind, apparel makes changing their policy so as to produce item that has reasonable quality and falls within affordable price range anywhere in the world. and they're striving to get out of difficult situation by operating global marketing strategy which stresses separation of planning, production and sale and sensibility of fashion shared worldwide. The marketing strategy of C company can be exemplified as a successful one.

The purpose of this article is to shed light on the position and the importance of sijo (Korean traditional poetic form of Three-Line Stanzas) of the Korean poet Park Jae-sam among Korean sijo writers. Even though Park Jae-sam started his career as a poet writing two sijos and a poem, he began to write more poems than sijos later on. Anyway his interest in sijo writing has continued and he has served as a judge of sijo writing contests ever since. Especially in 1985, he published a collection of sijo. And each sijo writing in this collection are composed of three-line stanzas and each stanza of three lines. And each line has a rhythmic sound with a formal word formation. This article reveals that Park Jae-sam has pursued a happy unity of form and content in his sijo writings from the collection and that he has tried his hardest to realize this goal. This article notes that for this goal he puts stress on some methods of creating poetic images and the process of creating new ideas, the unity of Koreans's unique emotion of han(恨) and a sense of eternity, transcendence through ambivalent emotions, and the structure of statement mainly made of juxtaposed metaphors. And this articles also notes that as a most sincere lyric poet in the history of sijo he is much distinguished from other Korean poets in that he depicts mainly Koreans's unique emotions and their characteristics.
